Thai kitchen serving stir-fries, curries & other traditional dishes in a casual, modern space.
Wanted to start off by saying the atmosphere was very nice & cozy! Service was good - waitress was attentive & nice.
We got the crab rangoon (minus the peanuts) as an appetizer & they were some of the best we’ve ever had! For entrees, I got the # 11 (with chicken - medium heat), which I enjoyed. Just wish the veggies were cooked down a little more for less of a crunch. Jasmine rice was good too. I ended up getting 2 Thai teas because I loved it so much. My boyfriend got the # 29 (mild heat), but he was unimpressed. He said the curry sauce didn’t have much flavor & his duck was dry, but he did enjoy the jasmine rice.
I would visit again, but my boyfriend would not.
The ambiance was good, and they also had sushi bar. I thought of ordering khao Soi, but unfortunately, they are not serving it here. I tried it in another thai restaurant in town, which is so good. So we tried thai red and green curries. They tasted good but not great. Also had sweet Thai tea, which was like 3/5⭐️.
Ordered crab Rangoon as starter, which was disappointing as quantity and size are small. There's nothing bad here, but it isn't up to expectation.
I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for the incredible dining experience I had at your establishment. The food was simply outstanding, each dish bursting with authentic Thai flavors that delighted my taste buds. Moreover, the service was impeccable; every staff member was attentive, friendly, and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Thank you for creating such a memorable evening, and I look forward to returning soon to indulge in more of your delicious offerings.
Well decorated establishment with a sushi bar in an adjacent room. Service and food was decent but nothing that stood out. Servers worked well together and were really efficient but not particularly friendly. Vegetables had that, was fresh at one point, but sat out too long and got dry feel. I really expected more freshness out of a place in Indiana.
The fresh spring roll ($7.99) was cut up into bite-size (sharable) pieces. The green curry ($14.99) had a good flavor and was melded well; the chicken was cooked well without being dry. The rice was good, might have been the best thing I had, and came out in a cute heart shape.
Would I eat here again if I lived really close? Maybe. Would I eat here again just traveling through? Probably not.
Drunken noodles are plentiful and tasty, but both times I have eaten the dish I had indigistation. The atmosphere is white table cloth and they also serve sushi from their restaurant. The curry was the hot version, it was spicy and delicious. The rice comes heart shaped. Flavorful food, but bring antacids.
Stopped in for lunch, food came out quick and was very delicious
Yellow curry was very good 👍
Great food and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
Cozy friendly
Good prices, good food, free refills on soda.

Tom yum soup was great the spice on it was perfect
Even though I'm not a curry person, I was able to find something that was not Curry. I enjoyed it I wish I had more options but maybe I just didn't understand the menu
My husband and I come here often...love it except for today!!! Horrible service HORRIBLE! Waitress never came back to see if things were ok (food was good) but didn't come back to see or refill drinks. also added on a $25.00 tip then she finally did come back then tried to keep an extra $10.00!! No I paid our bill $150 plus change .Our service today stopped us from ever going back.

Drunken man's fried rice is the best I've been to several Thai restaurants and my Thai is by far the best 1 in Bloomington
Great selection of Thai and Japanese favorites. I love the crispy basil chicken and the orange chicken, as well as the pad Thai.
Solid
Always my favorite place to go. Fresh hot food, great sushi, and staff are super nice.
Always amazing food and service. Quiet atmosphere! Moved away a few years ago and it was our first stop when returning to Bloomington. Did not disappoint!
My Thai dishes were good and authentic. I ordered the pad thai and red curry dishes. My sushi however was a disappointment, I would say it was the equivalent of grocery store sushi. I should have know, I've never seen a Thai and Sushi in one restaurant. Also...the curry came with rice, but I ordered a side of noodles, and they charged me for the noodles but never gave me the rice that comes with the dish. I forgot to ask, because the waitress never came to check on us. The service was OK, we were greeted and sat quickly, but our waitress never brought napkins and utensils. We asked for forks and spoons and had no napkins the whole time.
There was nothing wrong about this place. Lots of variety. We stuck with sushi on this trip but I am excited to go back for the Thai food.
Great selection and service. Food was delicious!
Great food and service.
I loved the drunken noodles with chicken! I also love any time that I get to specify the heat level 😋 It was a little expensive for a noodle dish, but it was a large portion! The large dish gave me the ability to split it into two meals, making the cost more reasonable (in my mind). I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends on the area!
As a side note: the sushi looked amazing
Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Great ambiance as well as plentiful menu selection. Drunken noodles are the go to for the whole family. Tuna sashimi and dumplings were a great appetizer. Service is fast and very attentive. Ready to serve any need or request. First time I tried My Thai Cafe & Sushi, I was there 3-4 times within the week. Definitely a go to in Bloomington.
Yum, yum, yum. Thai Basil Spring Rolls!!!!
Never disappointed at this very authentic Thai restaurant. Excellent food. Highly recommend.
Ambience was impressive with a lot of thoughtful design, but the food and service was lacking.
Both dishes we got just lacked flavor. I don’t recommend the orange chicken, very dry and flavored with mandarin orange slices. The chicken wasn’t soaked in the sauce and it was so watery you couldn’t coat the chicken properly. Orange zest and corn starch could fix it up a lot.
My partner got a more authentic Thai dish but he said it was also bland. Also one of those restaurants you have to wait slightly too long before you get the check or even one refill on drinks.
I always forget about this little place. Maybe it's the location or maybe it's because some of my family does not enjoy this type of cuisine. In either case, I really enjoyed my meal here. I love how you can tailor the spice level to your personal taste.
Great food and sushi.
Beautiful place. Service was outstanding & food was very good.
I had eleven year old with me. He ordered two sushi rolls & I ordered tofu pad Thai. The food was good, but pad Thai tasted a bit burnt. We will likely return.
We enjoyed the elegant atmosphere.
We love Thai food, and this is a very good place to go. The food is delicious - a good and proper blend of the ingredients.
Awesome food and service. Absolutely delicious. Visit often.
Always my go to thai place!
I love the food here, but they really need an online ordering system. Sometimes they don't/can't even pick up the phones from all the business they get.
Also, half the time it seems like my order is wrong. Like this time, there was no sauce on my noodles. Just plain white looking noodles.

Great food, reasonable prices large variety Nice atmosphere inside

Tom kha soup is so good, staff very friendly and pick up very convenient.
I stopped in to eat dinner on a Thursday night at 8:20pm (closing time is 9pm) and I was rudely told I could not eat in the dinning room and it was "to go order only".
I won't be going back.
Wonderful food, and great service. I also forgot something at the restaurant, and they promptly mailed it to me. Outstanding!!
This place is hit or miss. The service is non existent.
They need to figure out a better system when they have high crowds. Take names, station a hostess, or something. The partition right by the door makes people congregate and block the entrance, also a fire hazard. They dont acknowledge guests but the absolute bare minimum of communication possible.
When you get a table, you'll likely wait at least an hour for your food. Ironically, it took an hour to get hot food from the kitchen and an additional 20 minutes after to get 5 nigiri from the sushi bar... raw fish took 80 minutes to prepare.
The hot food (chicken) was dry and cool, so it seems they cannot coordinate orders that are from both the kitchen and sushi bar.
Take out orders seem to take priority above sit in customers.
After the past 3 attempts to give this place a shot and been left not just disappointed but impressed they can continue to function like this, I will just bite the bullet and drive to Indy before coming back here again.
First time in Bloomington for lunch and decided to stop by. Great flavor and good serving sizes (had lunch portion). From the starter Chicken Satay to the Pad Thai to the Pad Puk, food was great (loved the heart shaped rice!). Stop by if you're in Bloomington, you won't be disappointed!
Best vision restaurant around. It is really our favorite place to eat and celebrate.
The rice was good but the sushi was bland the shrimp tempura roll had more flavor and the coconut shrimp had better flavor but the rest didn't.
I always love this place. The food never disappoints. The staff is always efficient and friendly.
Had to wait a bit for my food for pick up, no big deal, it’s a Friday night and places get busy. But what was very surprising was that a waitress carried over my order to me instead of calling my name for me to walk up and grab it. It’s a little thing, but the little things matter! Food is always delicious.
Amazing food. Very delicious!
Friendly staff
Ready when promised
Dinner on a busy Saturday night and it was excellent! We ordered appetizers and my teens ordered multiple sushi rolls while my partner and I ordered Tom Kha Gai soup. Everything was so fresh, hot and delicious! Servers were attentive, water refreshed often, and dirty dishes taken away quickly. Truly, a great dinner!
This place is always busy and always delicious. I would eat here everyday if I could. The pad Thai and their sushi are fantastic.
This place is friendly and has fantastic food. Delicious flavor. Only thing I change if I could would be a bigger portion of orange chicken. Drunken noodles, perfect portion. Fried rice, perfect. Spring rolls, phenomenal flavor and crisp. Orange chicken was definitely lacking in amount for the price but the sauce was amazing. Well done. Will be back for sure.
Very reasonably priced, good food. Enjoyed and would eat there again.
The food here is just mediocre. Some are too sweet. The soup tastes like power-make. The food is more like Chinese food than Thai food. Friend rice is even better than pha Thai.
Can't think anything better
Really good food
Omg!!!!! Mai Tai quite literally has the best food in Bloomington. I've been getting the spicy chicken with my choice of spicy level and it is fresh, juicy and amazing. The owner is lovely and personable and has visited me on several occasions and I'm in love. Go eat!!!!
Another top 5 favorite of mine. This place never disappoints. The Tom Kah and Chicken Curry *no veggies add peas (-: are my favorites. They are so nice I was even running late to pick up an order and they waited after close for me to get there.
Love MyThai. Pad See Ew is my go to. Always delicious.
Having a soybean allergy is rough, especially when eating out. Though there is generally a lot of soy in Asian dishes, the folks at My Thai are happily able to accommodate allergies like mine and still provide some delicious options. My family, not having the same concerns, also believes it is one of the tastiest Thai and Japanese food places they've eaten - even our generally picky kids enjoy the food here which, for us at least, is a blessing. Highly recommend the My Thai restaurants in Bloomington, IN
Very good Thai food. Got one of the lunch specials. Great service. Highly recommend.
5 stars isn't enough stars for this place. The food is delicious!
This place is terrific! Ming is the best server! Service, atmosphere, and food very excellent. Just don't go near closing time.
This is my new favorite Thai place in Bloomington, Indiana. Great sushi and comfort Thai food. Healthy, quality ingredients, not like some other greasy Asian restaurants. This Is My go-to Thai food place.
Best curry ever!!!
Great Thai food, better than most for sure. Our waitress and one cook we met were from NE Thailand.
Green curry with shrimp and a Singha beer...Perfect!
You know this place I'm telling ya for real without a doubt probably gonna and still is and was and with saying that no question that this place is for sure and I mean like from now to then or from then to now that I was told from him who heard from her who told him that told me that this place ............is.. my Thai Cafe and sushi bar
Chicken pad Thai was very good. Service was excellent!
Excellent food, excellent service as always.
The food was amazing. Service is good, just a little slow.
Everything was amazing. We could have done without the vegetable soup that comes with the meal. It seemed like frozen mixed veggies and broth.
The staff is very friendly and seems as if they work well as a team.
I had the red curry with chicken in a mild (I do like spicy, but always tread lightly when trying new Thai) unless you want to sweat, I recommend starting there. I think there was a great flavor with minimal spice. My nose did have a tiny drip at one point, but absolutely 100% worth it.
Food is always good. Service is decent. I ordered takeout one time, and the guy getting my order asked me if I tipped and to make sure I tip well. That made me want to not tip at all.
I could eat here daily and never get tired of it.
Wonderful restaurant with beautiful people! This is my and my husband's favorite place to go! Even our kids (5 & 8) love it!
The food here is always amazing! It's our favorite place to eat!
Small portions with little meat. Overpriced
Tom Yum Talay soup is great! Spice level 3 makes my mouth burn and nose run so maybe I'll go down to spice 2 next time. Great quiet little space for great Thai food.
Good food but you have to ask for extra chili sauce!
The cucumber salad is my favorite. They have a lot of variety. Another favorite is the drunken rice with chicken.
Excellent food… worth the visit every time
Apps with fried batter were tasteless and cold, “Thai spicy” was tame, the sushi roll was awful, servers nice but non- attentive. Only thing good was the atmosphere - attractive. Will NOT be back.
Still my go to place. I loved everything I’ve tried.
Bland, small portions, not impressed at all.
Ate their twice. First time the food was better than most recent. Pricy
Best Thai dishes in town!!
Very good. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely will return.
So good
Pad Thai is delicious and spiced nicely. Staff is very friendly and competent. Restaurant is very clean and pleasant. Lunch special prices are quite reasonable.
High level of service. Delicious, spicy, and crunchy, so the texture and flavor of Thai.
Pretty sure they just leave their phone off the hook so they don't have to deal with call-in orders
This place is horrible to order and they never answer the phone for real.
I don’t know if owner knows why they are loosing business.
First time eating here. The service was wonderful. And the food was excellent. We went the evening after my daddys funeral. It was a nice visit with family and an old friend.
Food was good, the entry door let a lot of cold air into the dinning area. Everything else was very good.
Totally enjoyable...the cashier shorted my change by $1.00...it wasn't worth waiting in line behind 4 other for takeout.
Enjoyed the Sushi and Fried Rice!
Service tonight was horrendous. I would give negative stars if I could. No chopsticks or soy sauce was provided. We ran out of drink and the waitress completely ignored us after we ordered. We had to go to the counter to ask for utencils and refills. Terrible first impression. Not sure we will ever be back.
First time here and it was AMAZING!!! From cold beer, yummy apps and perfect portion meals
This is one of my favorite places to go, there is EZ parking, the food is good oh, and it's beautifully decorated.
Excellent food.
We've been here a number of times now over the years and it's become a Thai favorite. The green curry was superb. Just try it. You'll love it. Service was also excellent, as usual.
DMFR!
