LOVE thier food! they’ve became one of my go-to’s for takeout. the salmon fried rice and crab fried rice are always cooked to perfection and so fresh. they have amazing selections & pricing. great to dine in as well. love their chicken skewers & shrimp soup too. the lovely ladies who work there are very kind.
I would’ve given it more stars, but they needed to change their oil as there was a detectable off-taste.
Service did not give any hot sauce condiments nor napkins. The dishes we had would have been best eaten in our own individual bowl—curry on a plate makes no sense when the over-cooked rice can’t absorb.
The waitress looked as if everyone owed her 20 bucks, horrible attitude. Served two wrong dishes and insisted that the two of us ordered two enormous pork and two gigantic fried rice, along with curry and 2 other dishes. If you don’t speak english and don’t know how to communicate properly, please go find some other jobs. Many thanks
The food was pretty good! The place seemed to be an Asian fusion. The customer service was good too! Definitely would recommend; they give huge portions and tastes good too! One small thing is I didn’t really like how they made the spring egg rolls, as it was mainly just vegetables and tasted bland, but other than that really good!
Lettuce wraps with chicken and peanut sauce were delish so much crunch and flavor !! noodles + pork belly were decent, and loved the crab rangoons (10/10). However, the lobster khao soi had WAY too much sauce that overpowered the lobster/noodles. Good food for a good price!!
Little cute crab rangoons have a crispy crunch and filled with flavor (and filling).
Massaman curry broth was on point. Potatoes and carrots could be softer and there could be more rice.
The special fried rice with tamarind and fried shrimp was very tasty and good texture.
Good size Thai iced tea. Flavor on point.
Love the freshness of the mixed veggies and shrimp entrée, the sauce compliments every bite and you just want to pour it all over the rice. The pad Thai is equally delicious and the Hawaiian Fried rice are among my new favorites. Eto'o where have you been, I guess I was sleeping on this spot but their food has awakened me. A definite must try and enjoy over again spot.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! I moved here a few months ago, and this gem of a place is turning into my go-to spot for delicious Asian fusion food. Reasonably priced, great portions, and a wide selection of dishes makes Eto’o a real find. Plus the staff are so friendly and attentive. Their Tom Tha Kai soup is exceptional as was their Pad See Ew with tofu. Can’t wait to go back and sample more of their dishes!
Great food at great prices.

A mess. It did not even look like orange chicken? It was dry and tasted spoiled! Definitely reheated and definitely not orange chicken. When I called they didn't even apologize- told me to get my money back from uber. Run...don't walk

now this is how good asian fusion is done. soul satisfying flavors.

I like their soups and fried rice.
西化菠萝炒饭有点中国泰式菠萝炒饭那味
Pretty much the only restaurant you need in your life!!! :D
I was looking forward to the crab fried rice with coconut shrimp. The rice was hard, as if it was old. You only get 3 small coconut shrimp on top on one side, so much for sharing with someone. Small bits of crab meat on top on the other side, too small to call it crab fried rice. This is definitely not worth $15, maybe $8. Will not get again.
You can’t go wrong with any item you order here
We found our new go-to Thai spot close to Bronzeville! Sooo good. Usually I’m a little skeptical of Asian fusion places but I’m glad I was wrong. The crab and shrimp fried rice was 🔥🔥🔥. Solid pad thai and pad see ew
I love this place…it has been a trusted sit down for years! I was so sadden to get what seem to be old or overcooked pad see eww…that was waaay to sweet & salty. I had to return it to the chef. I opted to eat at home, to avoid further disappointment.

One of the worst customer service experiences in Chicago.
The Chicken Tom Kha Kai soup was the best soup I’ve ever tasted. I asked for not too spicy, and it was perfect.
Amazing delicious food. Very unique taste. Come and visit this restaurant in hyde park community. Mice prices and plates to share!
Disappointed. My go to is always Pad See Ew. Theirs has A LOT of black pepper, too overpowering. Super salty. And flat flavor otherwise. Also I can tell they use those cheap rehydrated dry noodles, which is never good. Fresh noodles always taste best. I won’t come back
Tasty and affordable asian fusion.
This small restaurant serves one of the best asian cuisines. I tried this place many times and different items, all of them come out to be good. The food is cheap, and tasty. Recommended dish: Garlic chicken
Pad-see-ewe is excellent and so was the Basil chicken. Wish this place was near me in SW suburbs. Would recommend this place for the area. Only gripe was the place was very cold inside for a low 60’s degree day. However once the food came, the spices warmed us up!
Awesome food, great chef and staff. Must visit.

This has become my favorite Asian restaurant. The food is very fresh and plenty. The thi ice tea is awesome. My favorite waitress is Teddy Bear. She is very attentive to her customers. She is also one of the chefs. She does whatever needs doing for the team
I’ve never really been a fan of noodles, give me rice and beans any day. But I decreed to give the pad see ew a tu because of the reviews, all I can say is thank y’all! I got the pad see ew with beef and asked them to make it spicy. I also got the crab Rangoon which did not disappoint. I ordered it to go so I can’t speak on service but it was ready on time. Also, if you order it on grubhub you get a $5 discount off your first order.
Omg!( Frist Time Visiting). The food, drinks and service was… AWESOMENESS! Me and my Niece had a “GIRLS DAY”(and I pampered and spoiled her)A earlier graduation token(she’s a senior) We had appetizers(Fried Dumplings and Wings)😋Then for the entree she order the fried rice w/salmon 👍🏼(Pictured)I ordered the cashew chicken 😋👍🏼,(food portions was 👍🏼and the prices was worth it)👍🏼.OMGGGGGGGGG! And, you guys have to try the THAI TEA W/BŌBÁ..DELISH& REFRESHING,EASY 10/10, I will be definitely returning…BIG KUDOS TO MY WAITRESS….👍🏼👍🏼
Their tai, korean food is usually very good, my kids also enjoyed...
I did not enjoy the food at all. In fact I didn’t eat it.
took my very picky Asian mom here, and we both absolutely loved it! we got pad thai and the pork belly for an appetizer, and both were incredible.
Wonderful food and service! We were visiting the area this weekend and had planned to eat somewhere else, but plans changed and so we walked by and went in on a whim! All of our family members loved their food! My husband and I had the orange chicken and the American fried rice. Both were excellent! The waitress took great care of us, topping off our waters, and the food was quick to the table. She also has beautiful fake flower arrangements that she sells on the side. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing. I have had crab rangoons at so many different restaurants and these are by far the best I have ever had. The American fried rice is great value for the price. The pineapple fried rice could use a little more flavor but overall tastes amazing.
During my three-day visit to Chicago, I ate at this place twice. I ordered the cucumber salad and the squid ink pasta the first time and the chive dumplings and the crispy shrimp fried rice second time. Everything was really good. The salad dressing was sweet and sour. For four dollars, I thought it was a quite good deal. The pasta had salmon eggs and crispy grilled salmon on top. Excellent flavor and texture. I wish there were some herbs or leafy vegetables on top, as it was a bit salty. The chive dumplings were phenomenal. They were crispy on the surface, chewy mochi & flavorful chives inside. Definitely order them if you go there. The crispy shrimps on the fried rice was great, but again, it was a little salty. Overall, it gives me a feel of fusion Thai food in terms of seasoning, sprinkled with familiar ingredients and dishes from Chinese and Japanese. Highly recommend this place!
I absolutely love this Thai restaurant! There is a lovely woman that is always working when I come in, taking orders (I'll have to get her name next time) but thank you for you for being such a kind and wonderful server. The food is amazing, I literally can't get enough. It's always fresh and hot, very tasty and reasonably priced.
Soup Crab Rangoon and Strawberry Shortcake! 🥰👌🏽 All amazing!
Great food. Very flavorful.
I'd eat here every day. I wanted to lick my plate lol.
The soup and food was very good
Eto'o was recommended and was ok. Probably won't out of my way again.
A go-to takeout spot!
Really disappointing what's happened to customer service here in the past few months. We used to get top quality service, but recently they've consistently been late on orders. On top of that, today I paid for my food and came back 40 minutes later. My food was sitting on the counter, but the employees refused to give it to me. Instead, a man came from the kitchen and began to yell at me in a language I didn't recognize. I asked him for my food, but he walked back into the kitchen. I had to ask three different employees until finally someone gave me my food. Terrible service.
This is one of the Thai places I have been too! Crab dishes are really good, make sure to give their Starters a shot. Boba tea is cheap but not the best.
Excelente sabor
Pan Asian restaurant with some really cool fusion dishes. Their noodles are top notch. Fried rices are occasionally on the greasy side, but the flavors are always there. Comfort food that’s elevated from your casual Chinese/Thai takeaway, but still highly accessible and in the familiar generous portion that you’re used to.
Eto'o is a gem in Hyde Park that serves pan-Asian dishes with great flavors and portions for a good value. It's one of my go-to spots to get food on 53rd Street. Everything I've had from there has been delicious, but my favorites are the Chicken Katsu Green Curry and the Pork Shashu Noodle. The drunken noodle is also very good. Hits the spot every time. Highly recommend
Food was not great today...must be a new cook.
Their curry will save your life.
The food was good
Eto’o is a hidden gem. Excellent prices
No complaints. We had the spicy pork, shrimp noodles, and crab rangoon. All good.
I enjoyed the food. And the customer see was pleasant!
I think they need to update the pictures of their food. Not only do the portions not match but the presentation of the food isn't accurate. I ordered the Rock salt chicken wings the imagine is how they delivered to me. Chicken was over cooked/burnt and for $8 you don't even get a full chicken wing only 5 party wings. Chicken is over priced for such small portion. Paid $2 for peanut sauce only for it to be filled half of the 2 ounce small container it came in.
Consistently our favorite place!
This is honestly some great tasting food for the price! The snow crab fried rice was great.
I order from ETO often... most items are tasty but my Fav dish is the Khoa Soi because of the sauce only. The Dish has no color and unfortunately is visually unappealing. Shrimp aren't grilled just pale, not a fan of the chicken, it's odd... sometimes rubbery.. But to dress it up I often ask to add Broccoli and I'm okay with paying extra.
But it can be annoying to recreate someone's dish. So this time I stopped by to order Sauce only to go and the lady rudelycharged me $8 but full dish with 2 proteins & fixins is $13. Makes no sense! Disappointed is a understatement but oh well they may of just lost a regular. :(

excellent tender juicy on the inside, crisp and tangy bbq pork. ginger carrots were excellent
Have not had the food as sat for almost 30 minutes with barely anyone in the restaurant. Asked where food was and they suggested we cancel our order as they had no idea.
Delicious food and large portions! We ate inside, and the service was great - most people seemed to be ordering out, but would highly recommend this as a place to dine in as well!
THE BEST THAI FOOD IN ALL HYDE PARK! what's crazy they are super busy with deliveries and never really see people eating inside. Their food presentation is amazing and is always great! Perfect spice level and great flavors. Literally authentic!
Tasty Thai food. Generous portions. Friendly staff in a neighborhood spot.
Ok place. Very small portions for the price. Not good at all for Vietnamese. I got pork vermicelli and pork was very low quality. The dish (a noodle dish I would add) came with the tiniest portion of rice noodles but a huge amount of lettuce. Pretty disappointing. Flavors were pretty good, but not really Vietnamese at all.
The “sauce” did not seem to contain any fish sauce either, which was disappointing. It tasted very processed, almost like a packaged sweet and sour sauce.
The veggies were very fresh and definitely the best part.
This is the best thai food in Hyde Park! Everything is rich with flavor, great in portion, and generally adds a new twist on classic dishes we all know and love. Highly recommend!
I felt the need to post for this place because their food is the best in Hyde Park. I normally eat home cooked meals but this place is my go to in Hyde Park when I’m craving Asian food. I had different types of selection and I was amazed how good each selection were. The shrimp drunken noodle, the shashu fried rice, their stir-fried egg noodle bbq pork are my favorite. My husband is in love with their food as well.
One of my favorite places in Hyde Park.
the salmon & thai styled fried rice 🔥🔥
This place is very underrated! Nice interior and great fusion food. Highly recommend their green curry!! Noodles are very cheap and tasty as well (pad Thai, soup noodles)
