We were craving Thai food but did not want to go all the way into Riverview so I searched Google for Thai food near me and Thai Garden popped up. I have to say that the owners were so pleasant, engaged in a brief conversation with my husband about their hopes and plans for the land and how they grow their own vegetables. Although this is a food truck, it is more than that-the care and love that goes into the food is amazing. The packaging was careful and our food was hot (steam came out when we took the lid off) when we got home- the spring rolls and dumplings were still crispy and not soggy. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was divine and on point. We will definitely be back. They are off 301 south on a side road (Saffold) across from Little Manatee Kayaks. If you love Thai- try them, you will not be disappointed.

Also added an order of Crab Rangoon. The noodles were pretty good. The medium spice level wasn't bad either, might try hot next time around. The rangoon was ok. Didn't enjoy it much as it had too much cream cheese and not enough crab meat filling. I prefer my rangoons with more crab and less cream cheese. I missed taking a picture of both dishes but will try to do so next time.

Glen and Sandy were extremely friendly and their food was out of this world. Best part is only 3 minutes from Berry Bay without having to take 301!!! They got a nice set up if you want to sit down and eat or take out. They were really fast and again the food was delicious.

This place offered food with quality herbs that brought the flavors out nicely. The Tom yum was perfect on a cold day and the serving sizes felt perfect for the price. The nice couple that runs this are very nice and care about the quality of food.

Thought we took a wrong turn to get there because it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but it was sooo delicious and an unexpected gem! We loved it and will be going back.

Me and my wife get food here frequently. We get their drunk noodles and their Tom yum soup. The owners are lovely couple.

I’ve been to the food truck multiple times now. The food is good but it’s a hit and miss with the Pad Thai noodles. I’ve ordered it 4 times and unfortunately 3 times they were totally over cooked and very mushy. Which still didn’t make me stop ordering them, because the flavor was always really good.
They don’t have any prices advertised (at least not the day we went) and they also don’t give you a itemized receipt once you pay. Usually I pay around $20 for my meal. Last time I went, my husband went with me and ordered too. We expected to pay around $45. We didn’t even order drinks. But were charged $82. As we were told the sum, my husband said, wow that’s a lot, as he handed his credit card. Which we hoped would prompt a second look at the prices we were charged. But no. It’s was $82. And again the noodles were over cooked. So needless to say that was the last time we are going. Since this really left a bad taste in our mouth. Other Thai restaurants are cheaper and come with a nice ambiance.

Delicious food and nice owners
We had the papaya salad Laos style, panang curry with beef medium hot, and green curry with chicken medium hot. The standout was the papaya salad, absolutely delicious, and the panang curry was delicious too. I found the green curry a little bit thin, but otherwise good.
I would be more than happy to eat from here again.

We drove 20 minutes to try Thai Garden and it was by far worth the drive. I had the Panang Curry and the flavor is absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!

I randomly found this place on maps. I thought it was some kind of mistake initially but decided to see if there really was thai food on that street. OH MY GOODNESS, am I elated! I usually drive to Brandon to get my panag curry fix, but now I have somewhere 4 minutes away. Everything was delicious! We tried the panag curry, red curry, and shrimp pad thai and everything was perfect! We'll be back soon!

Entrees ordered -- Pad Thai and Thai fried rice. Both entrees were over 95% noodle/rice with very little other items (vegetables, meat, nuts, sauce). Their flavor was okay. I ordered the pad Thai little hot and the spice level was perfect. Spring rolls were decent. I ordered online for pickup; the food was ready and hot at the time specified.

Only about 15 minutes from Carter/Moccasin Wallow! Large portion, reasonable prices, will definitely come back. They grow all their herbs fresh in their garden and the lemon grass is excellent!

I'm so glad that they exist. I haven't tried the whole menu yet, but my favorites are chicken satay, Red Curry (delicious, savory and rich with a subtle sweetness and heat), pad see ew, and drunken noodles. The owners are friendly. Their service is super efficient - slow cooked food, served expeditiously! I've had a lot of good food, but this is my favorite food in Wimauma for sure and in my #1 Asian in all of the surrounding area including Tampa for food- freshness, quality, and overall taste; service, proximity. My only critique is about, a basically non-Thai item, the crab rangoon- would like more krab and less cream cheese, but I'll still be ordering it again, along with other dishes. I would pretty pics, but I eat the food as soon as I smell it.

We ordered dinner last night at 6:15 (chicken satay, pork skewers and Garlic Black Pepper with chicken (it comes with rice). We drove over (15 minute drive) and she was bagging it up.

I love how fast and friendly the service is and how delicious the food is!

The have a couple picnic tables so you can eat right there under the trees. It's a delightful little space.

A little disappointing after reading the reviews. Shrimp Pad Thai was very sweet and had 5 tiny Asian farm raised shrimp in it. A lot of sweet noodles, not much of anything else. Spring Rolls were mostly wrap and not much filling. It is okay if you want to fill up on noodles, but nothing special.

I have tried probably 30+ Thai restaurants in my lifetime and this one is by far the best. Please check it out, it is worth the drive!

Unbelievable food. True and authentic and phenomenal tasting with so many bursting flavors. I had basil fried rice, skewers, spring roll, and a few other items, and everything was so authentic and EXCELLENT. True to taste, and their HOMEMADE sweet-and-sour sauce, make sure and ask for it. ITS DELICIOUS and so, so good. I love this place and will be back many times again, and the owners are extremely generous and nice! This is my top one restaurant even though I was born and raised in Chicago. This is my top one by far.

I went there for the first time, and the food was fabulous and the service was great. I highly recommend this family business.

My wife and I love the Papaya Salad(Som Tum) it’s so flavorful, I recommend to eat it with sticky rice and the pork skewers. Also we got the “Kra Poh Pla” (1st picture) from the special menu. You can get the latest special updates from their Facebook page. The service has been lovely every time we have gone. Highly recommended.

Cozy and tucked into a quiet and wooded area in the "middle of nowhere", yet right around the corner! Enjoy your fresh made-to-order authentic Thai meal right here on one of the picnic tables, or bring it home. We got 2 servings of pad thai and a red curry. Absolutely amazing! We will be eating it again tomorrow night, as the portions are huge-lots of leftovers. Why drive to Palmetto or Brandon when you have Thai food, so yummy, right here! The Tom Kha was the best I have had in manatee county in a long time! I give this place a 10 out of 10! Glen and Sandy serve amazingly DELICIOUS Thai cuisine! Glen recommended the green curry with pork. It came out a bit spicier than "mild," but still excellent. They are a bit off the beaten path; far worth the couple extra miles. (Google maps doesn't seem to show anything there, but they are.) Their forested grove with picnic tables is very relaxing. Lots of parking.

The best Thai food we have had since our trip to Bangkok last year! And "Thai Garden" is NOT just a name. The restaurant is located on a farm in Wimauma, Florida where they grow many of their herbs & vegetables on site. A short, scenic drive in the country and you are there. We are definitely looking forward to our next lunch or dinner.

I've been searching for delicious authentic Thai food and found this gem through social media. It's definitely off the beaten path, but the food and service are worth the quick drive. My 4 and 7 year olds loved it so much that we came back here 2 days in a row. My Malaysian mother-in-law loved it and felt right at home. She said that the area feels like rural Thailand and Malaysia. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and give it 5 stars. Pad Thai (no spices) for kids was just right. I had the Tom Kha with chicken (mild to spicy) and it was perfection. My MIL had Thai Fried Rice and was surprised at the high quality of the ingredients. If you're on the fence about the location, give them a chance and you won't regret it.

I just tried this place today we had the thai basil chicken, chicken and shrimp pad thai, dumplings and papaya salad. They make everything fresh at your likings. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. When I am again in the area I will definitely go back again. This is a jewel .

Ok I know I'm in trouble. This place is only 1 min from my house. They have the best chicken pad Thai yet. I know my Thai and this place is at the very top of the list. Great prices too. It's nice to be able to talk to the owners who are fantastic. Scary good if you know what I mean.

We can’t get enough of the great food from the Thai Garden Food Trick. The owners are very personable and aim to please.
We have tried a number of the dishes and so far our favorites are Tom Yum, Shrimp Pad Thai, Vegetable Thai Fried Rice and the Drunken Noodles.
You have to give them a try.

I looove Thai food and have pretty much tried all the Thai take out within a 25 mile distance. Today, I tried Thai Garden, got the black pepper garlic chicken, pad Thai and panang curry……THE BEST!! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed! 🤤

Amazing Thai food with warm welcome by the owner(Sandee). Try their papaya salad. It's the best papaya salad for the whole area. Their pad thai is also very tasty. Will be back every week from now on. will recommend this place for my family and friends.
