It smelled and tasted so delicious that I was half way through my food when I remembered that I wanted to give top marks to this restaurant. It was very clean and welcoming. Staff was great. Fantastic Thai food! Tuy is a fantastic chef putting together new and unique combinations seasonally, such as the famous Pumpkin Panang in the fall. Pictured here is the ginger chicken, another favorite. The server here is also world class! I never have to wait for anything. If you like authentic Thai cuisine, you will love this place!

Upon arrival to order to go food, it was 8:05 PM on a Friday.I stopped at this restaurant On my way home as the closing time was 830pm , I needed to get food to my sick wife. The website and the front door show the hours open until 8:30 PM. When I entered the restaurant, there was people at the counter, waiting for there to go order. Also many patrons eating, and just beginning to eat their food. I encountered a extremely rude and unprofessional waiter when I asked if I can give my to go order. He told me that he had to speak to the chef. After speaking with the chef, he told me that I was not allowed to order to go food, and the chef was not cooking anymore which was shocking to me because people were waiting for their food. And I can see him cooking. At this time I left that restaurants drove across town to another Thai place that was closing at 8:30 completely out of the way, but when I walked into it at 8:28 PM. They allowed me to order some food for my wife at home and happy to assist me. I highly do not recommend this restaurant.

We've traveled all over the US so we have lots of meals with which to compare this. This rates at the top for the massaman we had. They even know how to turn the spicy heat down. Other things we liked - curry puffs and mango sticky rice. We can't wait to eat here again!

The building on the outside for an out of towner was a bit questionable. We went in because the reviews were so good, and we are glad we did. The service was spot on, and the food was great. Fresh and spicy. Just proves, don't judge a restaurant by the outside of the building.

I found this resturant one day on my way home from work- i am so glad i stopped! It’s now a staple whenever me and my mom get a chance we come here, the BEST pad Thai, and all in all Thai restaurant you will find!

Absolutely the best meal I have eaten in Tavares, Eustis, and Mount Dora since moving here. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared and wonderful! The staff is courteous and kind, the prices are good as well. I highly recommend Thai Jasmine, it is my new favorite.

Just went to Thai Jasmine in Tavares for an excellent lunch. Food was so fresh and just the right flavor. Will definitely make this our go to place to eat, when eating out with my friends and family.

Never again! Called to make sure they were open on a Monday and asked if we could make a reservation and we were told no need. Drive 30 minutes and walked in. She says "sit wherever you want and the food will take an hour!!!" What??? She said sorry we got slammed. Suggestion... wait for your guests to sit and quietly explain the long wait and offer a free drink or soup or something! Instead you act all dramatic and make a big fuss. We won't be coming back ever again!

Amazing lil family restaurant, really made me feel like part of the family. I had the Pad Thai combo which was a nice full portion I couldn’t even finish it and it tasted amazing. I also had the Thai Tea which is hard to find in this area and that too was excellent if you’ve never tried it please do it will not disappoint.

Terrific spot for authentic Thai Cuisine. The chef makes the dishes as they are made in Thailand so its true to flavor and presentation. Family owned business who uses real fresh organic ingredients... mom and pop places are always the best. Look forward to frequenting Thai Jasmine for the foreseeable future.

After reading such great reviews we decided to go for dinner. There were 5 empty tables when we arrived. We ordered 4 small plates; curry puffs, spring roll, summer roll, and steamed dumplings. We ordered 2 main dishes at the same time. After 40 minutes we received all but the summer roll. The dumplings were cold. At the hour mark, we were informed one of the dishes ordered for the main meal, Pad Thai with crispy tofu, they didn't have crispy tofu. I would have changed to another protein but we had already been there an hour. We did see 3 other tables get their food, tables that came in after us. We asked for the check and decided to go somewhere else. I hope it was just an off night.

Terrible. Chef has no idea what he's doing. Wait staff called me to pick up a carry out order, gave me someone else's order which I had to return after getting home, and then stood and waited 15 minutes for my fried rice which was burned and shrimp dry and tasteless! Awful. This is the 2nd chance I've given this place and it is truly disappointing. Go to Asian Invasion in the village of Tavares instead.

Have never in my life met a staff so interested in making your meal ideal for you. Chef comes out frequently to check on guests, is happy to do special requests, and even knows my wife’s special needs(allergies) so we never have to repeat them with meal requests.

Ssooo Good! So Fresh!! I'm so surprised at how good this curry is and the spot is so inconspicuous. When I walked inside it smelled like delicious jasmine rice thats when my hopes came up quickly for the food. When the food came hot and fresh my tongue danced with excitement at the taste of ginger basil garlic coconut milk. Wow!!! Spring rolls are fresh and delicious. The side salad with a citrus dressing was so good. The drive is so worth it. We will be back

Our first visit. We had been looking for a new Thai place, especially after our prior location declined in their quality. The entire staff checked in with us at least once. Our server was attentive. Our appetizers were served one at a time, we ordered 4, and oh my that was an unexpected treat. It was a if the food was continuously coming instead of drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert, check then get out. I have never experienced the attentiveness and the freshness of each appetizer before and I felt spoiled. Every dish was excellent and at the end we ordered dessert, which we hardly ever do and OH MY! They apologized for not having the vanilla ice cream for their fried cheesecake and offered a coconut road ice cream instead. In my opinion this is the ice cream that belongs with the fried cheesecake. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. This is definitely my new favorite place to go. My hope is I am never let down and this is the treatment every customer feels every time they visit for the delicious food. Forgot to include that everything was absolutely, without a doubt, out of this world.

Come eat here, it's good. Been to many "Thai" restaurants in the central Florida area -- most are WAY too sweet city-style Thai food, or just flavorless blobs of meat on rice. The cook here did a fine job, coulda been spicier but the flavors were just right. We had sum tham (papaya salad), pad Thai and chicken satay. All nicely done. It's a small joint, not much to look at from outside but don't let that put you off, walk right in and chow down!

So we visited the Thai Jasmine Restaurant in Tavares for the first time and it didn't disappoint at all. We finally found a Thai restaurant that we can go to and enjoy the food. Sorry no pictures but trust me the food was good. We will be visiting this restaurant again.

My favorite resturant in Lake County by far! Great food, kind service, and a quaint atmosphere. They just redecorated so it would be a nice spot for a work lunch or date night. They have pick- up options and delivery through grubhub. Highly recommend if you enjoy Thai food.

This place has very delicious Thai food. Unfortunately due to COVID they don't serve sushi. Their appetizers are delicious too. It's not a huge place. Seats about 36 people at a time (absolute full capacity) and is topped of by amazing service. The prices are extremely reasonable too and is kid friendly. If you like family owned, delicious Thai food this is the place for you!

I go here all the time for lunch. There food is constantly good. There empanadas are delicious. The service is wonderful. The servers are always so friendly, the food comes out fast. I would recommend trying this place for Thai food with a little Caribbean flare.

Amazing!!!! I travel alot and eat almost everywhere. Thai Jasmine House is one of the most rarest (mom & pops, hole in the wall) that has authentic food. What's even more enjoyable is the reasonable hometown price per meal with great FRESH portions. I'm definitely coming back and hope to see this restaurant expand all over South & Central Florida.

Good service--our order didn't take long at all and the girl serving us was very nice. This was our first visit but we'll definitely be back.

I've been to plenty of Thai places. We decided to try this place based on some of the good reviews. However, this one does not deserve the one star. Very poor and rude service. Place looks dirty, mosquitoes all over AND despite this, we still tried to give it the benefit of the doubt until the food came...the pad thai noodles were sticky and mushy, not the norm and my order of the pad thai rice was over cooked. We asked to swap out the food for something else after taking one bite - as we were not satisfied and the owner refused. He said we would need to pay for the additional plates if ordered. Needless to say, we left and will never return. I do not recommend this place.

We love Thai Jasmine. When the restaurant has been owned and operated by a gentleman named Tom for 16 years one of the best Thai food restaurants in the area.

They're Tom. Kha Gai soup is excellent. Their Pad Thai is superb. Recently had their crispy duck panang and would highly recommend it.
