Just got an order of Mongolian beef and sweet sour chicken. The beef was chewy and didn’t taste at all fresh. The chicken not even edible, mushy and spongey texture, spit out my first bite. Very disappointed, what happened to this place, it was always good. Fifty bucks down the drain, going to sleep hungry and angry .. thanks a lot!

I don't know if chicken was real chicken. They were all mushy. Spring roll was horrible. I spit it out in the trash Very disappointed.

Here is an interesting fusion place. Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food is served here, so far I've tried Chinese and Thai, my next visit will be Japanese. So far the food has been pretty good, not the best I've ever had from an Asian restaurant, but it's pretty good. There really isn't much other Asian restaurants in the area, let alone ones that I would ever consider going too so they get props for standing out above the rest.

They do offer good service inside. And the quality of the food is good but not every time. Be sure to be quick, firm, and to the point. One time my father ordered one of the chicken dishes, or one of the breaded and fried chickens and they had over cooked the breading bad. It was a bit of a hassle to explain to them it was bad, but eventually after a minor scene, they took it back and brought out something new for my father that was great and we left a good tip for the service.

Overall until a new and better Asian restaurant opens up between here and Port Richey, this is the place to go. But I would stick to the Chinese menu or try the Japanese. I ordered the Pad Thai, always the first Thai dish I'll try on any Thai restaurant menu to see if they can get it done well. In this case it is odd, it was good but I can't say I really enjoyed it. I did there classic American thing and ate it because I was hungry but I would not order it again.

Final thing, after dining in 4-5 times and doing take out, I'd recommend doing take out only from now on. Either have it delivered or go in and pick it up. For some reason it's much more enjoyable that way.

Cold night, so we ordered Ramen, Goyza and coconut shrimp to go... well packaged with the Broth in a secure container... everything was delicious!

I don't know what happened to this restaurant. It used to be a nice place to sit in and dine. i got take out. I got the yellow chicken curry. Vegetables were not fresh, rice tasted old. I don't know if chicken was real chicken. They were all mushy. Spring roll was horrible. I spit it out in the trash Very disappointed.

I've been coming here as often as I can because I love the ramen and the service is always wonderful. I highly recommend stopping in when you're craving something that gives you warmth or need something soothing.

We had the Crab Ragoon,egg roll,pork fried rice,trio special and vegtables and beef..needless to say we have PLENTY of leftovers. Why this place isn't packed I'm not sure but if you like this kind of food Asian Fusion you'll love this place. We are from Wisconsin and have dreamt of this place since we left in April.. the Crab Ragoon are to die for.Check it out you won't be disappointed. We will be back several more time..

It was my first time there last night and I ordered the bourbon chicken the lid was not on properly and all the juice went into the paper bag. I had to throw half of the chicken out because it was so overcooked and hard on the outside period I'm not saying I will never come back but I am saying I will never order the bourbon chicken again

Worst customer service ever. They take your order and 10 minutes later they cancel. Guess they don’t want anyone’s business. My advice is to spend your money elsewhere

A friend recommended BJ's when I asked where could we get some good Chinese food. All the places in Palm Harbor are not good.

Chicken and broccoli was tender, flavorful and lots of delicious chicken. Hub's had General chicken which was cooked perfectly, great amount of spicy and chicken.
Eggrolls and Crab Rangoon were crispy and delicious.

There's a trade-off here. The food is best when they are busiest, which often means there is a wait. Best is Chinese, Sushi, Thai, then Hibachi, in that order.

No longer delivers. New owners, new menu. Less options.. we go there for takeout way less now.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on a work day. The edamame, miso soup, and beef & broccoli lunch combo was delicious. I have a penchant for beef & broccoli and this was one of the best I’ve had! Service was exactly what was needed: quick, polite, and kept an eye on me. The ambience was a little bland but that’s because the music wasn’t on. Will definitely be back, great job BJ’s!

I have been a BJ's customer for a long time now. Hands down some of the best food I have ever had. I have had the sushi, combination platters and their ramen (one of my favs) and have never been disappointed. Recently tried ramen at a different restaurant in Port Richey and was so disappointed. Sorry I strayed from you BJ's. NEVER AGAIN!!!

This is a delightful sushi restaurant. I stopped in and placed an order for several rolls, which were prepared quickly. The staff were nice, and the sushi was delicious. I recommend the love roll.

We order from them weekly! My office loves everything! We can have soups, sushi, curry, hibachi and drinks… everything is so yummy I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like! And I’m picky! We usually call to order but tonight we did the online order- easy to use and I loved that I could write them a message! Some places don’t let you send a message about food items or substitutions- being a vegetarian many times I ask for a sub!

I think they are family run I know a mom works in the back and her daughter is out front- very lovely people ❤️

They raised their prices significantly in the past 2 years. Yet the quality of food continues to lack. I ordered shrimp fried rice and once again it arrived in a plastic container. Why? It was mushy and flavorless. I ate maybe 10 bites and threw it away. All of the salt, pepper and soy sauce cannot make this edible. Not worth $14. It also doesn’t come with bean spouts and they charge Extra to add them. Fried rice that doesn’t come with bean sprouts?! I will never go here again- so nasty.
(sweet-and-sour chicken is nine dollars and six crab Rangoon is also nine dollars. Ridiculous)

Perhaps the plaza renovations are complicating BJ’s business. Yesterday I got sweet and sour chicken and a California roll. Both items were a big disappointment and not up to past standards.
The chicken was tough and leathery. The meat was like jerky and the outside coating was gummy and tough. Not crispy. Horrible. Sushi mediocre at best.

We came here for years since 2015. Food was amazing! So was the service! We knew Our orders the to a tee! Slowly after 2019, orders started getting messed up. Hey not a big deal, happens! Then service started going down hill. I don't know what happened to the old staff but new staff started to be very rude! Experience We had previous before tonight was really bad, and We swore We would never go back! Well, speed forward to 2022, this evening We were in the the area and decided to give it a try again! Like I said we knew exactly what we were ordering. Decided to sit down, and eat instead of ordering togo because of issues in the past. Should be simple right?! Walked in place was pretty empty on a Saturday evening. Lady was at the cash register taking a Togo order. No big deal We waited. After 5 minutes of not being greeted at all while she kept answering Togo orders. We just sat down our self. Place is not that big as it is.. Guy comes out of the back doesn't greet us either. lady continues to answer more Togo orders. Fast forward 20 mins later.. Guy out of the back out again doesn't even look over at us and cleans a dirty table. We couldn't believe neither one of them couldn't at least say hello we will be with you one moment. As the lady is still taking snd picking up more Togo orders. We finally got up to leave and she finally says please hold. Says to us what's the problem?! First time anyonebthere said anything to us is as we are leaving?! Needless to say this last time did it for us. Service is absolutely terrible! Really unfortunate because use to be one of our favorite places to eat in PinellasCounty! It's a shame!

First of all when you hire your teenage daughter to work the counter make sure she knows to say thank you. You are in customer service kind of business. But then again what can you expect from the teenager when 2 adults are standing next and acting just the same. It felt as if I was intruding by picking up my order. Now to food: greasy (like dripping in oil), flavourless noodles, curry with barely any vegetables, huge chunks of slightly stinky chicken, lots of salt and spicy sauce, not a lot of flavor. This was probably the worst thai I ever had. We ended up throwing everything away. I would never dare to order sushi there.
I am not coming back and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I frequent this place. Staff is nice and the food is some of my favorite. Bourbon chicken is my go too and if you like hot ask for chili oil. Definitely a place to check out.

I order sushi roll( believe it was a bagel roll), shrimp tempura appetizer ,Massaman curry, Beef Mongolian If I’m being honest the Massman curry didn’t have an authentic Thai taste But I do understand that it’s a fusion place but it was just too much seasoning everything was seasoned even the chicken .Tempura appetizer was lacking some thing I didn’t like the shrimp the beef Mongolian was the best the onions might’ve been too much for someone else but it was so perfect and to find out it had noodles under all of that so it was the best thing and I will be ordering again!!!

Great food, great sushi. Mongolian beef is to die for. And portions are decent. The only thing that is bugging me is that when ordering online, it doesn't give you the option to pay cash which is my preferred method. Not a biggie for some but for me it's just annoying...

We typically like the food here. However, we ordered takeout tonight at 6:15pm. They told us the wait would be about 80 minutes which we were very understanding about given that we know every restaurant is understaffed. After 2.5 hours passed, we called to check on our order and they told us they called the driver and he was 5 minutes away. 35 minutes passed and I called again and they told us that the driver had given the order away to someone else. They rudely offered to make the order again and bring it (as if it was just a huge inconvenience) and only offered to take off $10 of our $65 order. When I told the manager that we not only patiently waited for 3 hours, but we also tipped the driver already on our credit card, she told us that was all they could do or they could just cancel it. When I asked to just cancel it, she hung up on me. I am sure they had other customers that were not as nice and I very much did not appreciate how they handled things. We would have been happy to just come pick it up if they had told us it was going to be several hours in the first place.

Love love love love love the food here. They have a massive selection of Chinese, Thai, and Sushi. Everytime the boyfriend and I go we get a favorite dish but also try something new. We have not been disappointed yet. I just hope they can reopen the dine in section sometime in 2022.

Hours of operation online say they close at 10 PM on Friday night I called it a quarter till 10 drove from Newport Ritchie to pick something up and they tell me they’re closed they can’t make me anything at a quarter till 10 change the menu or the hours online to 930 then not 10 o’clock if a restaurant says it’s on till 10 it should be open till 10 ridiculous I will definitely stop recommending this place indefinitely not go there anymore it’s a shame to they used to be so good. Now they have an attitude I don’t care so the heck with them I’ll go elsewhere

Last time I visited, dining in wasn’t an option but I still recommend them for take out. The menu is large with a variety of dishes and I try to get something new each time. Everything I have ordered thus far has been great but I have yet to try the sushi.

Sushi was decent. Pictures are deceiving. Chicken was weird in texture and flavor. Probably not going back again, probably wouldn't tell anyone to go. I give it 2 stars and not 1 because if I was in a survival and desperate situation I wouldn't starve knowing that there's a mediocre sushi spot I can always count on to keep me alive. Besides that never again. Ps. The dollar tree version of sushi.

This place is rad. We got edamame, seaweed salad and three sushi rolls, all were great! They seriously have Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and other delights!!! You can travel east Asia here in Tarpon! The service was great and the food, despite a ton of take out and delivery orders was delivered quickly. I have never been to a place that had so many oriental cuisines under one roof! Totally awesome!!

The last 3 times we have ordered from you have been really bad. The shrimp were soggy not crispy. The General Taos was soggy as well. Ordered two drinks that were never delivered. I don't mind paying more for better food but that's no longer the case. Also just not going to pay the card feeling, the delivery fee, an convenience fee on top of higher prices!!!! Nope sorry you just lost a weekly customer!!!

Love that this place has a variety of Japanese, Thai, and Chinese available for delivery. Their food is very good, I gave four stars instead of 5 because they keep raising their prices and I'm not crazy about their hibachi, they cut their scallops paper thin, and their steak very tiny so its usually over cooked especially if you get it to go, the box cooks it to death. But I loved everything else

Just ordered from BJ's. If this is their standard, they have far-and-away the best in North Pinellas and certainly right up there with Asian take-out we have eaten anywhere in the U.S. Efficient, timely and very good!

They used to be great. Last 3 times food was burnt, under cooked and missing items from order. When comfronted..owner said they wouldnt refund my order even though i didnt even touch it. They were EXTREMELY argumentative and rude. They showed me pics in menu and my food looked in no way like the pics but she continued to argue with me. It came down to me screaming at her to get my money back so I could just get out of there. I used to highly recommend them. Now I would tell anyone to stay away and I will NEVER go back again. They don't deserve anyones business. They need to learn that business is earned and not their privalage. I would be so inclined as to go as far as saying..boycot this place.

So, I was craving some Chinese and based on reviews in my area BJ seemed the best choice. Ordered the General Tso chicken combo. Comes with egg roll and pork fried rice for $9.78. Which really is a great price. I asked if I could get a small side order of broccoli but was told only large size. Didn’t make sense to me to have a big container of broccoli with a smaller sized combo dish, so I just took it as it came. Started off with the egg roll which was hot, crunchy, with a good filling. Only slightly oily which for Chinese spot was refreshing. The rice was fine. Not a lot of veggies or pork and def on the blander side. But, not bad. The chicken however, was disappointing. All dark meat, which is not unusual but I didn’t see an option to make it all white. I would say on the average side of breading and big chunks. It was covered in a sticky sauce which was bland to say the least. As General Tso is supposed to be a hot dish, I can’t imagine how the non hot dishes taste. The two large pieces of broccoli I got were cooked perfectly. So, would I go back? For a great egg roll, yes. Might even be tempted to try a more veggie based dish next time. But, for General Tso? No. I’d buy the PF Chang bag at Walmart instead.

The food was amazing! Very tasty, good quality and perfect quantity. They have a very good menu for every taste. Excellent presentation. The estimated time For delivery was an hour but the food was at my door in 30 min. and we don’t leave in the neighborhood. The driver was wearing a mask and delivered the food without any contact. We were very satisfied and we are looking forward for our next order. It’s worth it! Excellent food!

Food is not consistent. Good 1 week then tastelessness then overwhelmed with soy sauce.

We love the food, the service and the hardworking team. I hope these challenging times don’t hurt this business. We’re trying to order from them every week or so.

The restaurant did not provide sweet-and-sour sauce for our sweet and sour chicken and we also ordered extra chicken and did not provide the extra chicken but they charged us for it after we drove back 10 minutes for the sauce They would not fulfill the order that we paid for.very poor customer service I will not go back. My food was cold when I sat to eat it.

After craving Chinese food for a month or so decided to order from BJs, what a mistake. Picked up order and brought home to find out things missing and order messed up. Called them to let them know the order was wrong, we asked them to deliver the right food they said they couldnt. We had to leave food that was right at home to get cold after having to go back to pick up the rest of the order. Had to wait 20 minutes in line to get our food. If you're going to be open during this crisis at least get things right. Will not be ordering from this restaurant or eating there again.

Food is always delicious! Our most favorite Asian restaurant in the area. We love the variety of different Asian cuisines offered. Pricing a little higher for what you might consider standard Chinese fare, but quality of food is SIGNIFICANTLY better.

UPDATE: I was originally generous enough to give two stars, but it's been knocked down to one. The lady on the phone told me at 8:13pm that she could have the order ready for me in 25 minutes and I told her to go ahead and cancel. At 9:38pm my doorbell rings and it's a delivery driver with the Thai food. I ordered online at 7:22pm, called at 8:13pm and cancelled the order, only to have the cancelled order delivered to my house at 9:39pm. What a joke, I will NEVER eat here.

I tried ordering online through my phone but the website is not compatible with mobile, as it was only showing half the screen. I got on my computer and reordered. It was a little annoying that I had to set up an account with my email address. Once I set up my username and password I set the option to delivery- which said it could potentially take 45 minute. I thought that was a little outrageous but I understand especially on weekends restaurants get busy.

I kept waiting for the delivery driver to show and after almost an hour I called to make sure it was on it's way. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly confused, and asked for my phone number twice. She repeated my order back to me three times and I kept having to reverify that it was correct.

When asking if it was on it's way she told me she would have her cooks start making it. Keep in mind I had already been waiting over 55 minutes by this point and she had offered no explantation, apology, or small freebie/discount for the inconvenience. When asking her how long it would take she told me 25 minutes, so I went ahead and cancelled the order.

I'm not sure why they would have an option to order online if they are only going to wait until you call to process the order. I was on the fence about ordering from this place as the recent reviews are complaining about new management, the unfriendliness, and the 3% up charge for using debit or credit cards. This place might have great food but it has a lot of room for improvement.

Every other asian restaurant has the rice boxes filled to the top and no room for one extra rice corn. Bj’s has the rice loose in the box (not squished) and still only filled 3/4. I always have an extra order with no vegetables but added pineapple, one time I pay extra $2 for that and other times not. They used to charge $0.50 if the order was below $10 and you paid with card. But since a couple weeks or months they are charging 3% of the whole order!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you pay with card. Which makes a delivered order of $20 with all the delivery fees and extra charges $32!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have consistent Chinese food and sushi here. We have stopped getting delivery because we had some issues with incorrect orders or double charges a few times, and to be fair we always order through the website so I'll let technology take the blame on that. We pick up or dine in now, but we always enjoy the food. Very clean inside and nice staff.

Very disappointed. Food was mediocre, and the waitress made us feel like we were intruding. We did not feel welcome.
