Food was good and well prepared. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was full. Service was a bit slow but the food arrived hot. We were very happy with the dishes ordered and will come back.

I have been eating here for years. It is my favorite restaurant period. Out of any type of cuisine. I’ve had Japanese and Thai food at so many places and Ichimaru is leaps and bounds ahead of anywhere else I’ve ever tried. I’ve eaten about 50% of the menu so far over the years. And every single thing, from the pad Thai to the sashimi, to the rolls, to the ramen is by a mile the best I’ve ever had. Servers are so sweet and respectful. They are always recommending new things for me to try, and every time is something delicious. They even know most of what I want to order before even having to ask. I highly suggest anyone reading this to please give it a try. I always take family, friends, business associates here whenever possible and they always leave so satisfied.

My husband and I ate at the restaurant a month ago and thought it was delicious. The service, sushi and everything was great.
Valentine’s Day, we decided to order takeout and the Hamachi sushi was so small and so dry that I had to douse it in soy sauce to get it moist. The eel roll, which was to have avocado was so small, I could barely see or taste the anything but rice.. The California roll-I have had much better at Publix.
With that being said, the salad was very fresh and delicious, the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and tasty and the miso soup was delicious.
Overall, It was very disappointing and I do not recommend ordering take out or delivery. Thank you

Hands down, the best place in town. So impressed and will be back. We had steamed dumplings, a shrimp tempura roll, egg fried rice and shrimp pad kee mao. They were all top notch.

I have been eating here for years. It is my favorite restaurant period. Out of any type of cuisine. This place is the go-to place for ramen and sushi. Also, the movie theater and ice cream store being right next door is a great night out. The staff is very good and bends over to make you happy.

Two times on a road trying the food. It's delicious! The first time we got chicken Ramen. I haven't tried Ramen like this in a long time in Florida. I'm so glad we found this place.

I came here for an early lunch, not knowing that the restaurant opens at 11 am. I arrived at 10:56 and the door was locked. After seeing me standing in front of the door a man came and advised they open at 11. I told him that I understood and asked to look at the menu in the meantime. He proceeded to very rudely tell me that I have to wait and closed the door on me only to come back one minute later to open the door.

So many delicious items, I choose the Lobster Bomb and Kiss martini. Who knew tempura lobster would taste so good!! The lobster roll was smothered with a crab. Very fresh salad with ginger dressing. The dramatic cocktail made the evening a celebration to remember

Honestly the sushi price is crazy! I tried to see if there was a difference in quality from Kazu! However, after sampling the 2 KAZU hands down! The quality of sushi is better, the rice is better at Kazu and the avocado is on point at Kazu. Furthermore, the staff ( girls at front not too pleasant they are from Honduras ) don’t know the menu. Kazu the girl is super friendly and they always attentive ! Kazu even presentation is better look at the plate! Ichimaru plain Jane! Lastly the price points good lord ! What a difference

We ordered all Thai dishes and 3 out of 4 Hot!! Grat spice and the only place that can do a good Nam sod salad. Others add too much sugar. Pad ke mow great, and pad thai no spice good too.

Ordered Pad Thai and Red Curry. Food was delicious. Rice was a little mushy for my taste, especially if eaten with the curry.

Ordered take out. Food was very good though the amount of rice they give you with each dish is minimal. You will have no rice left to eat with the leftovers. Be careful with the spice level as they take this seriously!! If you like spicy you will not be disappointed! Prices are higher than average. Nothing makes this restaurant stand out from others.

My partner and I visited this spot for the first time after leaving our nearby gym in the same plaza. We were pleased to see that they were still open and there were no other patrons there besides us. We opt to sit on their beautifully lit patio. We ordered two of their signature rolls, the Deep Blue Sea and the Lobster Seafood Volcano. For an appetizer, we had their steamed potstickers (gyoza) and their steamed dumplings. The presentation on our plates were amazing and the food was delicious and filling! Our server was welcoming and offered suggestions. We will definitely be back as I am excited to try their other selections especially their ramen!

I had an absolutely awful experience at this establishment. The waiter's behavior was beyond unacceptable. She raised her voice at me when she counted her tip in front of me and had the audacity to demand a higher tip and threatened me with a service fee if I ever returned.

Despite the fact that all she did was take our orders and drop them off at the table, she seemed to believe she was entitled to more. We did nothing to bother her, and her tip was well deserved for the minimal service provided. There was no need for her to try to embarrass me in front of everybody yelling over a tip, claiming that the tip guide are the only options for tip and that if I “don’t” want to tip that I can order takeout only.

I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. I work in a restaurant, tips are a privilege not a right. On top of this, everything was very expensive. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to steer clear as well. This place does not deserve your patronage.

Wanted to explore other sushi restaurants and I’m glad we came here. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was great. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls which were tasty and crispy. I believed I ordered the crunchy salmon which was Devine. I’m all for cream cheese in my sushi. It brings all the flavors together. For dessert we ordered the Thai donuts. We said we would eat only two but we ended up eating the whole thing before the check. They were light and fluffy!

I’m never one to write a poor review as I am in the service industry as well. But unfortunately if I could put zero stars I would 😭 i went with my husband and 2 other friends, we got sat immediately. The table was very wobbly we noticed after getting our drinks. My husband and I ordered bowls of ramen and my other friends both ordered sushi. Their sushi came out and 25 mins later our ramen still didn’t come out. We were literally watching our friends eat their food. Then finally after 30 mins or so we finally got our food but my friends already finished there’s. So now they were watching US eat our food. The food wasn’t even that great , it was mediocre , very bland. My friends asked for sauce a few times and the server was just dismissive , unattentive. We had to wait another 25 mins to get the check. Bc she did not return to our table only once throughout our entire duration of the meal. then at the end while paying , the server forced my friend to tip and showed him there was no other options besides 18% 20% or 22% and manipulated him into giving a tip. Didn’t even let him do it in privacy. He could’ve put 0.00 if he wanted but she wouldn’t hand him the card reader to do it himself. Very weird and annoying experience.

Let me preface this review by saying that Ichimaru’s food is excellent. We have been takeout customers for years and the food has been of great quality and consistency over the years. Every once in a while a minor detail in a takeout order would get missed, but that is to be expected with regular ordering and really isn’t a big deal. Food = A++

My wife and I decided to try dining in with Ichimaru this evening for the first time. We entered the building at 8:25 PM when they closed at 9:00. Immediately, we were asked if we were picking up food, to which I responded that we’d like to dine in. The hostest said, “well, do you know what you want? Our kitchen closes at 8:45.” We both said that we’d be quick to decide and it would not be an issue. Immediately the same girl came to our table to take our drink order and right off the bat she expected us to have our food order ready to go. We asked what a particular sushi roll was made from to which we were met with an “I don’t know,” whereas a more appropriate response would’ve been, “give me just a moment while I go ask the kitchen for you,” or something along those lines. We decided on another sushi roll because of the obvious impatience from this employee. She brought us water and then our waitress came over for the first time (different person than the impatient first person) and greeted us like it was the first time anyone had been over to talk to us at the table.

Shortly after, we placed our dinner order and then received the sushi roll. During this interim period, the same hostess girl and another employee were conversating in Spanish completely oblivious to the fact that I am fluent in this beautiful Latin tongue and I overheard conversations along the lines of, “ugh, would they just PLEASE hurry up and finish eating already?!” Immediately, this resonated negatively with myself and my wife and I was quite honestly flabbergasted at the ignorance from the employees to 1) be yelling at each other from across the restaurant while many customers were still enjoying their meals and 2) the obliviousness to the fact that anyone in the restaurant could’ve unexpectedly been able to understand Spanish (like myself) and be offended at the comments that were being shared back and forth.

Anyway, we received our dinner and it was delicious as per usual. No complaints whatsoever with the food. I had the massaman curry and my wife had the pad Thai, both highly recommended. The waitress was unattentive and I even had to ask someone else to refresh our waters because she was nowhere to be found. We finished eating and were ready for dessert, I noted the time at approximately 8:55 PM. When our waitress came back over with the check in hand, I mentioned that we were looking forward to having dessert. “I’m sorry, the kitchen’s closed,” we were met with. A more appropriate answer that would’ve achieved the same result for the kitchen but been much less offensive to a guest would’ve been to go and ask the kitchen if there was any way they could squeeze our dessert order in, even though we asked before the restaurant was even closed. Or, the waitress could’ve come to the table and asked if we wanted to place a dessert order because the kitchen would be closing soon, but unfortunately she was M.I.A. during our meal.

We proceeded to box up our leftovers and pay the bill, appetites satisfied but completely blown away by the sheer disrespect towards customers throughout the entire experience. From the moment we walked in the door, it felt like we were not welcomed in the establishment even though we arrived 35 minutes before their posted closing time. Myself and my family will continue to enjoy Ichimaru’s delicious food offerings in TAKEOUT format ONLY for years to come and wish them all the best, but will most certainly not be back for a dine in experience anytime soon. Quite frankly I’m still laughing about the Spanish comments made by the employees.

Anyway, enjoy your meal, but I definitely recommend sticking to takeout with Ichimaru.

Location right off US1. Pleasant and that service. The food was great I was very pleased.

Me and my grandma both got the two for 15. I got the chicken pad see ew with a California salmon roll. My grandma got the chicken fried rice with eel roll. Both were enjoyable but when the waitress took our order she didn't wright anything down and relied on memory which was okay but only got one thing wrong and wanted a soup instead of a salad but that's okay. It was close to closing (2:30) when we went (1:30) but I felt a little rushed. But that food was good so that's what matters.

Our go to for great Japanese/Thai food. Great service always great food.

Best Thai food I've had in Stuart. They don't have alot to choose from, but what they have is good.

Waited an hour and half after ordering and a few people got thier food before us even though they just sat. Also our waitress forgot about our salad and soup until I had to remind her three times and asking about my order. Food is not flavorful. Would not recommend.

Great food and service. Try the Nam Sod salad for a real treat. Theirs is wonderful. Waitress so kind and patient even took us to car with her umbrella since a monsoon erupted while we had lunch.

Sushi was good but not fantastic , the service was fine, the atmosphere was just ok. Prices are a bit high tbh for the level of quality and atmosphere. Best part of this place tbh is the awesome ice cream shop right next door to hit for dessert

First time here, the service was fast, walked in had a choice to sitting inside or outside. Waitress came right away. We made it for happy hour had some drinks, avocado rolls, thai fried rice and some Ramen. Food was very tasty, hot, and live that they have so many things to choose from.

The food here is incredible. You can’t beat the prices for the lunch specials, they have a great menu selection. It’s nice they offer outdoor seating in the shade too.

My friends love the food here. I came hungry and quickly ate the sushi, despite it not tasting great. Later that night, I found out why I was not liking the sushi despite my friends recommending it.

The fish was rotten. I woke up in the middle of the night and went straight to the bathroom for over an hour. It was such a painful experience. Extremely excruciating.

I went back to tell the manager about my experience. The manager assured me they constantly check that their fish are safe to eat.

However, the manager did not apologize.

The lack of empathy from management and the severity of the consequences from eating rotten fish are very strong signs to avoid dining here again for me.

I am sure most of the time the food here is safe and great to eat. However, I have serious concerns for the well-being and safety of myself and future Patreon’s.

I don't know who ms. Moron is, but their decorating is just not her business. This place is cute, good service and delicious. I got the solo sushi combo... yum and she loved the pho!!

2019-I come here very often the food is always good, the drinks cold and the staff welcoming and nice. It always makes me feel relaxed listening to the ambient music and sipping one of the variety of drinks they have available. Overall a great restaurant and a pleasure to eat at everytime.

2023-They just added a full bar and the creations they have come up with are fantastic.

Thais is a great place for really good thai food in town. The service was good and the food was amazing. The portions are pretty big, enough to share with someone else for sure. I highly recommend the curry duck, it was tender and flavorful. This place a great after watching a movie at the theater and you can even stop to get frozen yogurt next door.

The Tom Kha with chicken is some of the best I've ever had. I'll be craving the agedashi tofu appetizer for years to come. This place is delicious.
The table next to us was a little snippy that they couldn't substitute the rice in a dish for noodles... Don't try to adjust the food here! The recipes are made the way they are for a reason. Trust the chef.

I came about 8 30 pm, the staff was very busy but they have me seat very quick, I have ordered a jazmín tea and a coke , California sushi , they told it will take long time to prepare the sushi since there were two many people, however when I said I will order two sushi rolls then they can back two minutes later…extra fast for the worst sushi that I ever had in my life, I was not able to eat them completely, the coke was serve in a plastic glass with soap smell, the waiter was very nice though. May be I got a bad day in this restaurant but I won’t be coming back any time soon

Comparable to middle school cafeteria food. The sushi tasted like the ocean, fried rice tasted like it was frozen, and the fried chicken that came with the fried rice was nooot yummy.

We sat outside, and no one wanted to wait on us, so we moved inside. Chicken ginger was delicious, but very small lunch portion. About 1/2 cup of salad dressing was put on a very small salad, not edible. Spring roll appetizer was good, but when we asked for chili sauce we were given sweet chili sauce, not traditional Thai chili sauce. Service was slow, but they were busy and only two servers. Will give them another try.

DISCRIMINATORY. DISMISSIVE. RUDE.
I placed a pickup order at this restaurant. The restaurant had Halloween decor that was a bit too much for me. I called to address my concern. I communicated understanding of having to cancel my order if my food was unable to brought out to my car. The server who answered the phone communicated ability to bring my order to my car. a few seconds after the server ended the call with me, the manager called me in an aggressive tone. He started his communication with me as follows: "you want to cancel your order". I made attempts to explain my understanding that the server made arrangements to bring my order to my car, but the manager consistently interrupted me with vulgarity. He even went as far as to belittle me for not being able to stand the restaurant's Halloween decor. The communication quickly turned into a racially charged and inappropriate nature. I couldn't believe it! I understandably grew offended by the manager's racist and blatantly dismissive communication toward me all because I communicated a concern not a criticism. He told me that they have been using the same Halloween decorations for five years without any problems. Well, I didn't live in Stuart for five years. I do not bare the burden of rallying others to present their concerns. I was appalled by the manager's unapologetic discrimination and rudeness toward me. He hung up the phone without resolution. It was clear to me in that moment that my Black dollars were not welcome. I am disgusted by the manager's behavior and communication!

They always make pad woon sen the best and with lots of seafood. Very generous and very good Thai food.

Disappointed and will not order again. The lobster volcano roll....the topping which I know to be creamy and delicious lobster topping, was a dried up bread crumb mess. Pan scrapings if you will. Tuna sushi grade was poor. Spider roll was ordinary. Management said they don't make the creamy top in volcano rolls but I saw it being served there before and asked. Oh well. Guess Bangkok and Fugutai it is.

The best sushi in town come check them out in Stuart. Variety of thai and sushi also there have ramen and boba tea.

WORST SERVICE ive had in years. had a reservation for 6:30. didnt get our drinks until 7:20 and the food didnt come out until 8:15. i watched 3 tables get up and just leave. food was awful. sushi was room temp and falling apart. all around HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. and to top it all off they automatically take 18% gratuity so they dont even care about the service they give you

Fantastic flavors, service, and presentation. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant that I've been to so far! 10/10 wouldn't change a thing. Also very impressed with their spotless Discus/turtle tank!

While the presentation of the food was very nice the food quality and portions were lacking. I’d rather the food taste good rather than look good. The pineapple fried rice was good, but a little lacking in flavor. They also had a $5 up charge for egg fried rice instead of steamed rice for my daughter’s chicken teriyaki. Service was good and the bathroom was clean, but if the food isn’t good then it’s not worth going to.

Cute restaurant in a great location. Not nearly as good as the previous Thai restaurant that was located in the same location (Thep Thai). This restaurant has some positives and does sushi well but the Thai is terrible. Like so many Thai restaurants, they have dumbed down the food for American taste which means the food is now overly sweet and many of the traditional cooking methods & ingredients been changed. The Tum yum is terrible having no taste at all. It used to be made the traditional way with all the spices & herbs and now is just Tom Yum paste and water. The Nam Sod is floating in a pool of sickeningly sweet liquid and was inedible. The salad dressing is very good. The pineapple rice is memorable too.

Very expensive, 9 dollars for a house brand glass of wine. Pad Thai 22.00 dollars was sticky, and tasteless.

Love the sushi here, but service is extremely slow and unorganized.

The food was just as ordered,and the price pount was lower than a competing store south of here,I ordered tuna sashimi ala cart,and was delightfully impressed.

Salmon skin hand roll with cream cheese extra crispy with extra eel sauce, they make it flawlessly,Xtra crispy is the key!

Service was slow but good food

I am a sushi nut and have eaten at every place in Stuart. This place is the best by far. No comparison.

Poor service.

I called to place an order for one sushi roll, they stated it would be 30 minutes, and when I asked “30 minutes for one roll” they had responded that they were busy. I arrived about 5 min early to pay and wait, then I proceeded to wait a total of 40 min for one sushi roll, honestly insane. I’ve been ordering sushi at restaurants for years and have never waited 40 min for one roll.

Also their lunch special of one roll, a small portion of a Thai dish, and soup/salad is perfection as is the bento box … the presentation is so dear with the flowers, berries, green onion garnish.
Haven’t tried the ramen but hey, it’s like the only place in Stuart that sells it.
