The restaurant is near international drive and a lot of tourists do not speak English. I believe the tables are in the front to prevent people from just barging in. They would like you to wait to be served and seated. All the other reviews are from people who are trying to find something to complain about lol. The lady who took my order was kind, the food came out quickly and it tasted good. So, I recommend 😃

We walked in and there were tables blocking the path to sit down, which seemed odd. The food was just okay, and the prices did not reflect the quality of the food. For reference a small soup is $10.50 and a large soup is $24. The room was also a bit messy and cluttered.

Absolutely flawless, down to the last detail. I ordered the tofu and vegetable panang curry with brown rice (without basil), and my husband ordered the tom kha gai soup and the cucumber salad. We loved everything. Even the water with lime was perfect. The Thai iced tea was exceptionally flavorful, and everything tasted fresh. The owners were very friendly too. We loved our food so much that we decided to order extra and give it to the homeless people outside. Can't wait to come back.

Poor food quality. Overpriced

My first time at this Thai restaurant. I loved their Pad See Ew. I always get this every time I eat at a Thai restaurant for the first time. I like that they also had a vegan menu. Although I’m not vegan, my friend who came with me was. The place wasn’t crowded so I was able to get seated and served right away. Overall, highly recommend

Very pricey no lunch specials and small portions for everything. I would not recommend.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in is the dining room is blocked off by a row of tables. After I asked if the place was open and could I dine in a nice lady moved one of the tables and sat me at a nearby booth.
I began reading the menu and noticed very high prices in comparison to other Thai restaurants in the US that I've eaten at. (That number may be more than 75.)
I was able to find a few items at a price I felt comfortable with and ordered. They totalled to $43. (Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and Thai iced tea.
The Pad Thai tasted like burning mattresses and couches. It was absolutely horrible. I was good sport about it and ate as much as I could but had to stop after 6-8 forkfuls. I just couldn't take another bite. Three quarters of tge portion was left untouched. The soup wasn't a whole lot better but at least it tasted close to what I've had since I first experienced Thai food in 1987. It just lacked the citrus and chili flavors. Neither dish was hot. They were just lukewarm.
The service was lousy as well. The soup and Pad Thai came at nearly the same time. After I told the mistress about my disappointment with the Pad Thai she quickly brought the check and deserted me. After 15-20 minutes of sitting and not eating I got up and walked to the back of the dining room where the woman was on her phone and a man on his laptop and requested a to go cup for my Thai Tea. The man retrieved one for me when he realized the woman wasn't going to acknowledge me. I didn't leave a tip. $43 for a garbage experience.

Huge rip off. Food was good, ordered online. Paid 150$ for basically three SMALL dishes and two SMALL appies… couldn’t believe how overpriced the food was for serving size. I never write these, but holy hell what a rip

Kind of a hole in the wall tourist trap-online prices significantly less than in the restaurant (see photos: -veg soup online: 3.95, in restaurant 10.95; pad Thai 11.95 online, 18.95 in restaurants, etc Spring rolls were fresh, mango sticky rice was good, but the pad Thai was not the savory deliciousness that we have enjoyed at other Thai restaurants. Just be aware that it’s ok, but not great. Pricing does not consistently match quality.

Not good at all. Miso soup tasted sour and had something red floating in it. Spring rolls with tofu and vegetables fell apart and was tasteless. $38 dinner was not edible.

Very traditional Thai food. The couple who runs it was very friendly and nice. The food was excellent. I ordered a yellow curry chicken that came perfectly balanced between spiciness and flavor.

Taste really not that good. The fried rice was over fried and smells bad.

Just ate here on Christmas Eve. Glad they stay open during the holidays. Amazing food and great service. Will definitely come back in the future.

Great mom and pop owned Thai restaurant. Owners are very nice.

We arrived and were seated and loved they asked if we were vegan. I am but not the party I arrived with. I ordered papaya salad and it was extremely soggy. My usual place back home makes papaya salad that is always served fresh and crispy made to order. This was extremely bad. My husband sent it back and they gave him a disapproving look plus told my husband that the next order cannot be sent back if disapproved, I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken tofu and it was palatable. I had requested some spicy fresh chile or chile oil on the side when I had ordered the papaya salad and the server had forgotten about it. I asked for it again after my noodles were served and the lady told me that they had served it in the papaya salad, I told her that it was not in the salad plus I had ordered it on the side. We also ordered the spring roll vegetables and they tasted old and sauce that came with it was very vinegary and not palatable, we ordered pad Thai and it was not tasty like traditional pad Thai. Overall our visit was extremely uncomfortable because of the owner's attitude towards us. If food is done well with fresh ingredients there is never bad things to say but in this instance a comment was forced to include and not for good service or food. I do not recommend this place at all. For the high prices they charge ($20+) a plate it's unacceptable.

They make you pay for tips they add on their own (18% of the bill including tax), the food is overpriced for very little amount. I got 7 pieces of tiny calamari for 17 bucks. We ordered 3 entrees, Thai tea, one appetizer (very plain food) and it came out to $112. Each dish was around $20 and small. The atmosphere was also really weird as it looked like they were closed for dining but they moved the tables that was blocking the entrance aside for us to come in and blocked it off again when we ordered food as if they were trying to prevent us from leaving. There was no refills.

Wanted drunken noodles, they gave me veggies, chicken and rice. I don’t get it! Such a typical thai dish and I got rice instead of a noodle dish. Tried the chicken (to at least feel I didn’t waste my $25+) and it was so salty! Not pleased at all.

After our busy day we stopped in this restaurant and there’s a weird vibe when you get in. The place looked like it was closed for dining in, there’s tables in the middle of the way to avoid people to come in. After getting a table, We ordered Vegan Pepper Steak and Some kind of rice. It was Very Good! Pepper steak was so tasty. 💯

This restaurant is vegan and offers a wide variety of vegan Thai food options. The food was delicious in my opinion. I look forward to trying other options on the menu each time I'm in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian or just in the mood to eat tasty meat free Thai food.

Food tasted decent but all of us had the sh1ts after eating either the shrimp Pad Thai or the Dirty Noodles. Something was unsanitary with the food since all of us got the runs... and we are all spice lovers so it's not caused by the heat. Plus the 4 dishes we ordered came out in like 5 min... they must have things already half cooked or left from the prior day which may be the issue. SHE ALSO ADDED A $20 TIP AS A BILL LINE ITEM which we almost didnt catch and nearly double-tipped her. Very shady. dine at your own risk. And I agree with others... overpriced

Made my son's grandma and my son eat outside. Worst customer experience I've ever had. Will never come back here again wouldn't eat here and support them if you paid me to. They are too strict with 8:30 dine in cutoff time and do not give any cares for the customer. Don't come here.

Worst customer experience of my life. Made my mom and 4 year old eat on the side walk curb because we came 5 minutes ahead of 8:30 dine in end mark after calling earlier in afternoon and driving an hour to get to them. Already relatively overpriced compared to other Thai/Asian restaurants in the area. But since the portions are so small, it ends up being extremely overpriced. Flavor also leaves a lot to be desired.
Vegan options available, but adding mock meat is an additional cost and pretty pricey, anywhere from $6-8 per entree.

This place is not bad for food, however the prices for the dishes are exorbitant. Looks like they have doubled the prices. I understand with present gas prices and inflation some price hike is expected, however doubling rates is a bit too much for any customer.

Service was great, food was not my favorite. The yellow curry was way too strong. It tasted like twice the seasoning was added. I felt sick before I could finish mine. My husband thought his was okay.

The food was decent but over priced. I understand it seems like a family-owned restaurant so I wasn’t too upset by the high prices until the bill came and they had included a tip in the bill that was hidden as if it was part of the meal so that you wouldn’t notice. Then after the card was run, there was the suggestion to tip on top of that (the typical 10,15, or 20%) in addition to the 10% they had tacked on in the meal bill. Although slimy, other places have done this so it’s not too extraordinary, but what really upset me was when my bank charge came through, they then tipped themselves additionally another dollar ON TOP of the extra tip I had left. So ultimately I was charged an amount that I had not authorized. It was a small amount not worth disputing, but I assume that is a tactic that in mass could result in a lot of extra profit over time. Beware of what you are being charged for your meal.

Soup was good and so were the egg rolls but it is over priced for two soups and 3 egg rolls 47+$ is way too much May not order again

This is a preferred Thai restaurant for our entire office. It may not have the glitzy looks of a well established restaurant but don't let that fool you - the dishes here are very tasty. The owners are extremely friendly and quick to fulfill orders.

Food was yummy. It was my first visit. I must go back. It was so good. Need to add more sauce to dish. But I ask for extra. They gave it to me.

We were happy to eat vegan food thinking that it was a vegan dedicated restaurant! We ordered our dinner thinking that it was with a lot of vegetables like the vegan dishes but they weren't. In the end, we saw the price on the bill and it was over priced (specially for being served without vegetables.) Be careful that they charge the tip (18%) before the taxes. So, you don't have to give them a tip and they over priced the tip. Scam this restaurant and the food was regular.

2 months ago, I order food from here and that was delicious 🤤. I gave 5 stars ✨ that time but today’s experience is not good that’s why I’m taking off my stars. Today I order by Uber eat, I was super excited because I want to gave surprise to my best friend on his birthday. When we start eating, first bite gave us very bad taste. The chicken fried rice was too much burn. Now we are making some food at home.

My friends and I are visiting universal studios this weekend and had Thai silk last night. Their food was amazing! So so delicious! Got everything right and were so accommodating for the vegans in our group. I would come here again if stayed longer in Orlando.

Whenever I order, it’s always a large order, and they’ve never had anything wrong. I also really appreciate that they have a separate vegan menu. I always order the Thai basil rice, ramen fire noodles, pho (I know not Thai but still so damn good) and the Tom yum soup, all vegan. Thank you for making life easy as a vegan!

Came from out of town and wanted Thai. We ordered a big order and they got it perfect. No mistakes and it tasted beyond amazing. Would highly recommend and I will be going again. The owners are also lovely people! Support small business!

Please don’t let the location deter you. The food was authentic and came out surprisingly quick. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, with good service all around. Plenty of vegan options which was pleasing to my girlfriend; they even asked if anyone was vegan as we were seated which was nice! The vegan “beef” was so believable and tasty that as a non-vegan I kept asking to have more from my girlfriend.

My only regret is that I overestimated my spice tolerance and ordered the HOT (and I mean HOT), basil fried rice; although it led me to literal tears the flavor was worth it!

Delicious authentic Thai cuisine. Chefs is extremely talented. Everything I've had on the menu is as good or better than places I've eaten in Thailand. The decor isn't the nicest but as far as food goes its definitely the best Thai food I've found in Orlando. Staff is extremely happy and friendly everytime I've been there. They seem to do alot of take-outs but Ive never had to wait for a table and food is always served promptly with an enthusiastic smile.

I asked for water twice. I didn't receive it until towards the end of my meal and I had to ask on the third try. Food was ok but too sweet. Use less sugar and oil. Gyoza tasted a little cold like it was microwavable. Also way overpriced Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. Bill was $70 for just two people.

Both my husband and I are VEGAN and GLUTEN-FREE and I was so impressed!! Food was incredible! I have a shellfish allergy and they were very understanding and helpful. It’s so hard to find a vegan and gluten free curry or Thai place! We will be back for sure. Prices are more than fair for the quality food. If you want cheap cheap prices you will get cheap food.

The inside was extremely clean and the customer service was amazing and overall, was very comforting environment. We walked in and ordered, expecting the food to take at least 20 minutes, but they finished it within 15. The food and the boba thai tea was good as well.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant. I had order the Vegan Teriyaki Tofu dish. It cost $17 and I received some white rice, 1 slice of a tomatoe, and 2 pieces of brocolli with some tofu. The entire dish was bland although the tofu was in a teriyaki sauce. It just lacked flavor. The only way I believe the dish could have been saved was by adding more sauce or flavor to it. It was disgraceful for $17. Easily should have costed $7-$8 but not a penny more. All the items in this dish are low cost foods and there was nothing to the dish that would value it at $17. I rarely write bad reviews as I try to support businesses with my "local guide" status but I wouldn't want any customers to over pay for this low quality. To the restaurant, I suggest they re-evaluate prices or restructure their dishes. Overall, I can not recommend this business due to its pricing and quality. I left with the thoughts of "rip-off" instead of "delicious" and "satisfying".

OMG. We are from Missouri and when we come down to Disney this is a stop here after we land before we go to the parks. It is that insanely good. By far the best Thai you will eat in the states, and we've tried many.

Whenever my husband and I deliver to FedEx, (we are OTR truck drivers) we always from Thai Silk. It is the highlight of our trip. Hands down, the best Thai food either of us have ever had! Food is always hot, thai tea cold and all delious!

Has really gone down during the pandemic. Used to go there all the time. Food was great. Went today for pickup and it was awful Not able to eat. Wasn't fresh and tasted like it had been recooked in burnt oil. When I called back to complain, she tried to tell me that I didn't know how it was supposed to taste. Spring rolls were dry and old. Probably are not getting enough customers to cook fresh I guess. A wasted 20 for shrimp padthai and some spring rolls.

Went to go and eat. I’m vegan and was very excited to try some of the vegan meals. I asked if I could bring my own alcohol. They said yes. They tried to charge me a $15 corkage fee!! For a god damn bottle of pre mixed Smirnoff.
Ended up leaving and they lost $80. So to bad for them

This place is absolutely delicious and the only establishment I go to for pad Thai in the surrounding area. Quality food, good prices, and great customer service.

Warning!! They have new spices to season their food and it is hotter than before. Still exceptionally delicious, but if you like your taste buds to stay attached and working you might want to reconsider how spicy you order your pad thai etc.

Food was good but the small portions make it a little overpriced. I enjoyed my signature dish of curry duck and will most likely be back again. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to try a new place even though there are better options in the area. No issues with service but there were not many people there, give it a try and leave a review.

Ordered delivery from here. Came quickly and was fresh. Ordered chicken red curry, gyoza and pad kee mao...good spice, nice flavor. Only complaint would be that the pad kee mao didn't have noodles and it is a noodle dish.

Probably average service and food honestly. Lunchtime during the week is quiet and relaxing though, so it's become a favorite of my coworkers when we have time for a slow-paced lunch.

I've gone here fairly often at lunch during the week. Friendly staff, good food. Can customize spiciness to your order. I usually get something milder but some people I go with like their food spicier. All entrees are served with a salad, which is pretty nice. Ask for the spice rack to be brought to your table if you like to add toppings to your food (spicy sauce, peppers, or chopped peanuts).

Usually a little quiet when we go, but it's pretty nice and relaxing. Not sure if they're busier in the evening, as I've never been. I think their menu is the same for lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable but maybe a little on the higher end. The service is usually fairly good. Entree pricing starts around $9-10 a plate (I usually pay about $12 after tax and tip, but there are some items that are pricier). Portion sizes are good but may be a little small if you enjoy eating a lot. I always have plenty but maybe don't eat as much as some people.

I will say it's sometimes a little slow (but not too bad). It's actually kind of perfect if you don't mind taking your time. But don't go if you need something quick.

Take a piece of advice and avoid this place. I walked in to order take out as I drove by and notice thai food sign for the restaurant. I was ignored by the waitress who must have been a manager or owner as well. Then she proceeded to take care of everyone else before she gave me menu. I was starving so quickly decided what I wanted. Waited for food 40 min. After I came home I realized food was completely cold, and wasn't much for 65 dollars. I ordered for 2 adults and one child. Pad thai was burned, red curry was a soup not a curry. Also asked for medium but it must have been the most spicy I ever had. There was maybe 5 skinny pieces of chicken in it. Total disappointment. I had some really great thai food, and some mediocre... but this by far was the worst place I have been to in Orlando. Oh and teriyaki chicken was absolutely disgusting! Even my dog didn't want it.

We did a take out multiple times and the food was excellent. The most important thing is that they make everything vegan so no need to explain about vegetarian.

Went on Christmas eve for dinner. It was open which was an important reason. Food was tasty and in big quantities. Everyone enjoyed their meal. A little on the spicy side. Please note they include tip for parties of 5 or more.

Ordered the Beef Pho it was terrible the noodles stick together there was only about 2 pieces of real beef. The food was disgusting, I didn’t even finish it.

Decent lil Thai place near my work; I recommend the drunken noodles with firm tofu and get it medium (the heat is deceptive here, fair warning). The yellow curry and basil fried rice are also quite nice.

This place has to be a drug front with how expensive the food is but the food is mid tier Thai food. There's definitely better Thai restaurants for much better prices. Wasn't bad. Just not worth the high price.

Vegans beware!!!! My sister and I ordered delivery through grub hub from the vegan options from Thai Silk Restaurant. I ordered the vegan Khao Soi with tofu. It arrived with real chicken! I am so absolutely beside myself upset but glad I realized before I ate a dead animal. This is sick, how do you put real chicken in a vegan dish?!?! I would never recommend this place just go to Ethos where you can order anything and not worry about it! Yuck!

I'm somewhat of an ethusiast when it's comes to anything asian, I mean I am one to start off. So when it comes to foods I'm quite experienced in the way the food is prepared, served and taste. In terms of service it was fine, they checked in and made sure everything is fine and I had a blank face and lied through my teeth, "everything is okay". I know I'm being dramatic but I say this out of love, for you to improve. This was hands down one of the worse if not the worst Pho I've ever had of the hundreds if not thousands I've had. The broth was incredibly sweet, sweeter than the Thai tea I had which I know is quite bitter as it's supposed to be but come on, sweeter than the drink? The noodles were surprisingly tacky, pretty hard for noodles. I had the meatball pho and the meatballs were unironically rubbery in texture. Like eating an eraser. My guess is that the noodles were made some time ago, the broth has too much Hoysen sauce, like way too much, and the meatballs are frozen or aged. No seriously the broth was so sweet I tried my best to drown it out with lime and chili soup (?) {Crushed chili peppers with lime, salty and spicy}. No luck. I couldn't finish the meal, but I really didn't wanna criticize the poor waiters or chefs there, I know they tried their best. To add salt to the wound, as if they ever added salt at all, the prices are insane. Typically Pho cost like 7 or 8 dollars, this was 16 dollars for one! I understand it's a tourist spot and I really don't mind spending more if it's decent, it really wasn't worth it. That's my rant, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
