And the best thing is the pricing is SO FAIR and everything is fulfilling with a party of 4 we paid $115 for great quality sushi. My favorite one was the sushi that was deep fried.

We have been dining at Sushi Spot for years. In my opinion it is one of the best authentic sushi restaurant in Clearwater area if not Tampa Bay area. The food is very delicious...Always fresh and served very fast. The variety of rolls and hibachi menu will make a great meal for everyone....The food does not just taste good but it also looks very appealing. Strongly recommend. We will definitely will be back. Delicious food, kind & prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere!! The Thai tea was great! The sushi was fresh and tasty! The chicken stir fry udon noodle dish was also very flavorful. We were 6 that dined here and there was something for everyone. My one friend is a vegetarian and there were lots of options for her!! So glad our friends introduced us to this place. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to be back. :)

Hidden gem. The best sushi I have had on this coast! The strawberry saki was amazing too. They have a ton of unique flavor combinations you don't see anywhere else. The waitress and the sushi chef were all very nice and looking to be helpful. So, if you're new to this type of thing, they are very welcoming and answer all of your questions. I'm excited to go back eventually and try the cooked food!

The service was F+ at best we had the rudest sever she didn’t pay attention a lot of the things we asked for didn’t get done or we had to ask like 3 times before it was done…ordered a disgusting drink and was told we still had to pay for it even tho the drinks were full and they gave better service to their other Asian customers who came after us and they got served and manager treatment way before us if we would’ve had the manger I think we would’ve had a more pleasant time I would not recommend this place we paid $90 for Burger King treatment . The server never gave us all menus we were asking for things that weren’t on the menus she gave us because I searched online as well as she didn’t mention that the white paper were other options and cheaper rolls we were so lot and she didn’t help as though she assumed we weren’t going to be good customers and she really messed up her tip and it’s crazy because I’m a tip employee dealer at HardRock casino and I’ll make sure I not recommend to my coworkers and we always eat sushi smh

My experience wasn't good at all. Got two rolls: salmon and smoked catfish. Salmon roll was fine, but catfish roll was only rice and cucumber. I called Jesse, who happened to be an owner and asked where is the catfish? Her answer was that fish is inside the roll that's why I can not see it. But I told her that couldn't taste any fish in that roll at all as there was no fish. Her response was : We can not do anything about it. I do not recommend this place unless you want to spent $20 for lunch and get rice and cucumber roll and terrible service provided by the owner.

Great service and good food, what more can you ask for. The hibachi was on point and didn't have to wait long to get severed though it was a busy night.

Overall the cook was ok but just a few “tricks” lots of food.
Pretty bad way to start rushing and pushing us to order, service were really harsh / turned friendly until we passed back our order… I literally got a call from them a min late while we were just parking also getting a hard stop: if you do not order now you just get sushi…. Got to ask for a min extra to decide (just a min after getting seated)

Hands down the BEST hibachi I’ve ever had! We’ve been coming here for years and this place deserves a review. So happy we got Vinny again! The chicken and shrimp were on point..as always! Everything he cooks is always just perfect!!!!!!

Steak and shrimp hibachi was not very tasty to me; the only thing I liked was the fried rice with egg in it. I ordered brown rice, but I had to return it because it was mushy.

Food, hostess and Waitress were great. My biggest complaint was our chef. He prepared our food well, but one of the biggest reasons we go to these type of places is for the entertainment. The chef clearly did not want to be there, and it showed.

We ordered many different things. Nothing was great. The gyoza was absolutely terrible, no stuffing and burnt. I could easily rattle off 3 sushi restaurants that put this place to shame.

I love the sushi here it’s probably some of the best sushi you will ever have outside of Japan. My only complaint is the manager is abit uptight. If you catch her when she’s not in a good mood the experience will be abit awkward. At least that’s how I feel. Some other days she smiles and she’s nice but when she has her poker face on I try to avoid her.

It was good. The kids liked the sushi rolls when we ate in the sit down area (not hibachi). If you have food restrictions I would not eat at the hibachi. It was nice though. I can only eat about a quarter of a kids meals due to bariactric surgery so I was hoping to maybe get a kids size portion, but was only allows to get the adult size. My kids wanted to see the hibachi so we sat on that side. It felt like a waste for me as someone who can't really eat the large portion they serve. The plate splitting fee was about as much as a full meal so that option didn't seem worth it either. I guess it's good they have that option though. The food was good though. The portions are just so large! I guess that's typical of hibachi though.

Every time I go there, I always order Thai dishes Duck of Largo and Drunken Noodle and the taste are ALWAYS consistent!
My husband always orders sushi and enjoys their fresh selection of sashimi fishes and various rolls!

Great dinner as usual. Our server Nam was very accommodating. Our chef Vinny is the best and makes sure he knows everyone’s order is correct. The food is fresh and seasoned well. We love the rice and noodles that come with all combos as well as the salad and Japanese onion soup. The filet mignon is definitely worth the upgrade on all entrees. Oh and can’t forget the yummy sauce!! Amazing. Vinny cooks everything to perfection. The kids sirloin combo is plenty of food for two meals. Thanks again!

I ordered "to go." Disappointed that they did not include the sauce I asked for which went with the salmon dinner. They did call and said they forgot and they would make up for next time. However, I dont know what happened. Did they change the way they made their suchi rolls. The sexy woman roll that my family loves was no longer the same. The reason we always loved this place was because of their special rolls. The rolls we got did not have their sauces over it. The rolls looked like they were wrapped with lettuce? I dont know..just different. Not the same.

Edit: I hadn't been here in quite a while was rather disappointed to that the sushi rolls seemed to have been made smaller and they now use the cheap ground fish in the spicy tuna rolls I used to get often. Didn't really get full off my usual order.

I freaking love this place. I've gone here several times and every time the I leave feeling full and super happy. The staff is very nice and attentive, the food tastes super fresh. The prices are very reasonable with our average date for two usually coming in around 40$. I love the atmosphere of the interior aswell as it gives off a cool classy vibe.

First time here tonight. Definitely won't be the last. Very unassuming from the front, tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Pleasantly surprised how nice the inside was. Great decor and ambiance and clean! Excellent service and food was the best anywhere in the Tampa area. Ten thumbs up!

I had teriyaki beef. The meat was tender and had a delicious, moderately sweet taste. Also, the sushi was absolutely delicious. I had the Sexy Suzie and King rolls. I'll definitely be back again.

My Son😀 and I frequent Hair quite a bit we've done takeout and dine in the waitress NAM, she's amazing ask for her. All the food is high quality. Their signature rules are really yummy and My Son😀 and I really enjoy getting food there. It's super busy there's a little bit of a wait but it's well worth it. I would say every time you wait but you sit down to eat. You definitely are glad you stayed.

We come here every chance we can when we’re in the area. This is by far the best “sushi spot” at the beach. Jenny is always incredibly welcoming and treats us like family. If you’re looking for sushi, this is you’re place. Noodles or ramen, they got you covered. They even have hibachi!! Check the place out and thank me later.

I enjoy masago sushi most when the rice is still warm, they did it perfectly.

My husband and I have been looking for a new sushi spot for the last year. We finally found a new candidate, The Sushi Spot/Hibachi. I had the Dynamite roll which lived up to its name. My husband enjoyed the Vicki roll and the Sexy Man roll. What a contender.

The service here is very fast! We can get in and out on an hour lunch break! The food is wonderfully delicious! I love their build your own bowls and they have a wide variety so you can get different stuff every time. We love their deep fried bagel roll and it's hands down the best sushi on the menu. They have recently added a fuller sushi menu and today we did the Kappy deluxe it was great.

Every now and then, my family ends up celebrating a birthday at Sushi Spot. Last night, I tried the Lollipop special roll and highly recommend if you want to skip out on the rice for something lighter. Rolled in cucumber gave it that nice, fresh, crisp when you bite into it and it's pretty fun to eat.

Flabbergasted. Ordered Shawn #2 isn’t the same as I remembered. “Baked crab” on top but nothing was baked, it was just cold crab salad plopped on. Not happy.

Won’t return anymore unfortunately. Fish on 2nd roll didn’t taste as fresh today either. Sad this used to be a favorite spot. People are nice tho.

Last night was the first time my husband and I tried this hibachi. When I tell you we are so happy we found this hidden gem to us!! I never thought I would say it but they were so much better than Kobe's steakhouse!! We reserved a seat at one of the hibachi grills our time was 6:45 p.m. our chef was Vinny and boy boy was he amazing! Everything tasted so fresh and just downright delicious! Starting with their soup it was your basic broth soup but it had such elevated flavor, then their salad was amazing with that ginger dressing that they add on it! The fried Rice and noodles are some of the best that I've ever had. Then of course we had steak and chicken and I could definitely tell the quality of their meat was top tier and their vegetables were also very fresh! I have to add that their yum yum sauce is some of the best yum yum sauce I've ever had it reminds me a lot of the Arigato's yum yum sauce from back in the day. The sushi spot will definitely be one of our new go-to's for date night!! Thank you to all the staff, they were all very nice and accommodating and the atmosphere alone was just so inviting and peaceful!

The outside of the building was pretty plain but had a surprisingly beautiful interior with private booth seating and a hibachi area on the other side. We had the tempura appetizer, gyoza, pad Thai, and stir fried ramen. It was all delicious. Our server Pat was super friendly and attentive. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Largo. We’ll come by again!

Just so happen to try this spot because I was in a sushi mood. We ordered the birthday roll which had shrimp crab spicy mayo avocado and much more. It tasted really good I wanted to go back for more. Highly recommend. The next time I am in the area will definitely stop here every time.

Intimate and awesome and very well run teppanyaki place. Only four 10 seat tables, but awesome, funny, talented chefs with amazing portion sizes and tasty food. I will definitely be coming back. Try the grouper.

Lovely restaurant with so many sushi roll choices starting at $14.95. The rolls are huge! I ordered two and took a whole roll home. Fresh ingredients, nice app selection and saki! I sat on the side with the sushi bar and tables. Some larger tables had draped material around them giving a private intimate setting. On the other side of the restaurant are the hibachi tables. I will definitely return! I had the Birthday roll and Shawn II. Both delicious but I preferred the Shawn II. I also had a salad and their ginger dressing is out of this world. I ordered edamame to start! The sushi making crew were friendly. Parking wS tough as there is a bar and grill two doors down and they were busy. I parked by Family Dollar and walked over.

Went for a casual dinner and was pleasantly surprised how quick and clean it was. Staff was friendly and the sushi was very good. Prices were a little higher than expected, but worth it.

I always come to Sushi Spot when vacationing in Florida. I have tried a good handful of sushi restaurants in the Tampa area and now only choose to eat sushi here. Great lunch menu options and signature rolls.

The tepanyaki here is absolutely delicious. The scallops are huge and steak tender. Everything is so fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared.

When we come to Largo, we always try to stop for sushi here. We showed up at open and the place was packed quick. The food is always good. 3 adults and 2 kids was about $200. Just be prepared if you come with a party. It is worth it though.

Sushi was warm and smelt like fish. It wasn’t fresh and the sushi was low grade. Took two bites and through it away. Worst sushi I ever had in my life.

Waited an hour and 15 minutes for a bowl of the gyoza ramen and pad Thai. Working in the service industry before normally this wouldn’t have been a big deal but once I received the ramen it was practically inedible. Tasted like they added a cup of sugar to the broth boiled egg was over cooked and gyoza had the texture like cardboard was added. I informed server I wanted to send it back and by this time my partner had already finished his food. She told me she needed to get someone and I assume the manager came over who was a woman who asked me why I didn’t like it and then asked if I wanted chicken fried rice instead? At this point I let her know I had already been there for way too long and just wanted my check. She grabbed the bowl of ramen and said to me that our server would be paying for this… I’m sorry but what? Never have I ever heard of such a thing and then to tell your guest that? I could have tried something else next time but now won’t be returning due to the treatment of staff alone.

I used to love this restaurant but now the prices have gone up so much and the quantity as well as the quality has gone down. I understand inflation is hurting everybody but their adjustments are going to result in lost customer base. Sad to see this.

We went for dinner. The food was great. They only only have 4 hibachi tables so you have to make a reservation. Our server was great. The chef's name was Vinny. He was great. The plates look smaller than other places but you still get alot of food. There isn't any alcohol. Just beer and wine. We will definitely be back!

This place has the best/ freshest rolls. They just play really odd music. Hip hop or mumble rap or Im not sure who this speaks to but some nice neutral music would be pleasant. We always laugh at the playlist here.
