This place had great sushi, decent Thai and fantastic service. The dinner was more expensive than I would have liked, but the food quality and service made up for it. I had shrimp Pad See Ewe and it was good and they provided spices to heat up what was prepared as a very mild dish. I’m told that the sushi rolls were delicious and fresh.

Popped in at 9pm for a late dinner on a Thursday night and what turned out to be a wonderful meal. The ambience is Key West Cozy and just lively enough. The sushi was super fresh, the rice perfect and the Saki satisfying. Friendly and efficient service too.

First experience at Misohappy was collectively a wonderful dinner for the four members of our family; three of whom are keen Sushi lovers and for me as a fan of Thai. We all left the experience thrilled with the choice. I don't think you can go wrong here with many varied choices on both the Thai and Sushi sides of the large menu. The pace was upbeat and the flow of eager customers was impressive. The staff was like a well-oiled machine and enjoyable to be a brief part of their efforts. The atmosphere was very pleasant and our seats at the sushi bar were ideal to witness the creative process of presenting delicacies while we enjoyed our own.

Excellent service and abundant sake collection. Thick, thick cut fresh tasting sashimi. Perfect rice. Unbelievable speciality roll (we got black pearl). Offered additional dipping sauces (without us even asking, just knew we’d love them) that were absolutely delicious. Felt so comfortable and left excited to come back. Our server was AMAZING. Oh, and they chased us down the sidewalk to give us our forgotten Togo box!

We've had great experiences dining in and taking out. Service is friendly and fun and the sushi quality is excellent. Portions are big with a good cocktail menu. We don't walk out feeling like we've been ripped off, unfortunately happening more and more in Key West over the last 2 years.

Miso Happy is one of our regular spots for a great meal. We love the combination of Thai and Sushi dishes they offer. Top favorites are the whole grilled squid, Love Key West roll, Crispy Duck Pad Thai and Steak of the Street. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love this spot and also their sister restaurant next door, Souper Happy offering the same menu plus delicious soups and ramen dishes.

Enjoyed our snack night here. Sashimi were yummy & fresh. Thai donut was interesting, bakery style & crunchy, something you might enjoy trying. Somehow mochi I cared less, were very different than one we like in Japan. Very friendly fast service. Would like to try their popular ramen next time.

Sat outside with my boyfriend. Ordered a Phey bowl or something like that. The dish was so oily, the meat tasted funky. Told the server twice I didn't liked it , absolutely nothing happened or even offered to exchange the dish. Didn't took it of the bill , not that I expected but something would have been nice. Server seemed very agitated with me not liking the dish. As a local, won't be back for sure.

This was the best meal we had in Key West. The miso soup was fantastic. The sashimi and the roll we ordered were solid representations of American sushi. The service was A+. Saki selection is large. I highly recommend if you're looking for a meal in Key West.

Sushi was meh. High prices did not match the quality of the fish or presentation. Exceptionally high prices for very large rolls with lots of rice. I should have tried the Thai food instead. Disappointing. For a sushi place in a location so close to the ocean I expected a greater respect for serving fresh fish.

Don’t order the seafood stir fry with vegetables. I have had better seafood from ALDI in Ohio. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s way overpriced for what you think you’re getting.

I have to give 4 stars because the service I received was excellent - all of the staff were super friendly and attentive. I ordered spring rolls, a beer, and vegetable pad Thai. The spring rolls were really delicious, and my beer was good but of course they don't make the beer. It was a Crazy Lady. However, the pad Thai was off - it tasted like what a chicken smells like. The eggs in it were not good. I was really disappointed and wished I'd ordered something else.

I ordered a side of fried rice , with a water so I can just get a quick bite and leave with an ice water.

Ate here on our visit to key West on 7/11. The sushi was decent but our server was the best! He even convinced to do the shot of the day. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for good sushi in key West.

Wasn’t expecting to have Asian in Key West, but after a friend highly recommended it I had to try it and it was well worth it! Super fast and friendly service with the most amazing Krab Rangoons!

Lauren did a great job serving my husband and I, the food was great.

Had a great lunch at Misohappy great selection and recommendations from the staff, we had a wide array of food from the Shomai to red curry and sticky rice. It delivered on all areas of the taste of freshness and value for money, prompt service with a smile.
So if you need a taste of Thai food do go and sit down to savour the flavours and atmosphere.
Will go back for more offerings.

Came here for some quick dinner. At first I was in for a sticker shock. HOWEVER, the sushi portions made up for it and are definitely huge compared to other place. Food was great and fresh. Excellent experience here with my wife. We started with the crab rangoons which were delicious, hot, and good sized! We enjoyed the heart sushi roll and a JB roll; both amazing and very fresh! We finished with trying the Tom yum seafood ramen soup and my wife had the lobster ramen soup…. Incredible flavor, it was her favorite! We really enjoyed the fast and friendly service - it was truly a five star experience. Thank you to Jeery for taking great care of us.

So missohappy has tuna loco rolls and tuna in it was So fresh and delicious, that we had to admit that we are no longer sure that Bali restaurant had the best dinner we ever had:))) all sushi lovers - do not look for other places - come to Missohappy! The server was super friendly, service was fast, atmosphere- top notch! If only Orlando had Missohappy ....:)

Best food experience that we had in Key West. The food was fresh and delicious. The tuna poke nachos was one of the best things that i ever tried in my life. Everything that we tried was amazing. Sushi rolls are big - my favorite crazy tuna roll - explosion of flavors. The stir fry crab rice was bomb. The tai bbq pork was delicious. Fry avocado with crab meat was omg !!! Everything that we tried was amazing. Service waa great. Out waitresses did everything to make us feel special. I am highly recommending this place !!!

I was in town for one night for work and I’m absolutely thrilled that I found this Sushi/Thai place to eat. The crab Rangoon’s are huge and filled with yummy cream cheese and crab, the chicken pad Thai was very juicy and flavorful, the volcano sushi roll was delicious. For all the vegetarians, go to The Café across the street. This review does not apply for meat eaters. The Tum Yum soup smelled like fish. Even the waiter at the end asked that we only got her a $6 tip. This is not a ideal place for vegetarians.

Pathetic service, I ordered a dish with explicit statement that I am severe allergic to egg and yet they added egg to my dish. Thankfully my husband does not have allergy so he tasted the food and figured it out that dish have egg. On complaining they replaced the dish but they were not apologitic about the error a sign they doesn't care about someone's allergy also they brought dish back so late that by that time my husband had done eating, on top of that servers have the audacity to ask for tip as if it's their right irrespective of the service they provide.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place who have specific FOOD ALLERGIES..... Because they dont take care about it.

Excellent special rolls, and the crab rangoon is one of the better ones I have had anywhere. Super nice waiter, and fun to sit at a table outside and watch the world go by.

On the spendy side but good sushi

We went here for an early dinner and were seated quickly, even though we did not have a reservation. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We shared a Tom Kah Soup, Pad Se Ew (with Lobster), and 2 rolls. There was plenty of food for us as the rolls are huge.
The soups was sweet and savory. Very umami. The Pad Se Ew with Lobster was amazing. A full Lobster tale in the noodles for only $29! Well worth it. The rolls are huge! We could have just had the Tuna Loco Roll as it was so filling. The Salmon Skin roll was well made. The fish was fresh and vibrant. The tuna was cut very well (we have eaten sushi in Japan and Alaska, this was on par). The lobster shell on the Pad Se Ew plate was a nice touch, and the lobster was split up within the dish.
Crazy good. We will definitely be back!

If you love sushi, Thai, fried rice, and want an epic atmosphere with super sweet staff, this is the place for you!

We live in a coastal town and are used to some pretty delicious, high-quality sushi and Misohappy sushi ranked up there with the best sushi we have had. Their sushi rolls are large. My husband and I typically order 5 rolls at other restaurants but we ordered 3 here and it seemed equivalent. The Love Duval roll is a must try!!! We also ordered the Red Dragon and it was also delicious.

We also ordered the traditional fried rice with shrimp and it was honestly the best fried rice we’ve had in a very long time. The calamari was also absolutely incredible.

The staff was so friendly and attentive. Service was very quick & efficient while not making us feel rushed at all. I wish we had discovered Misohappy earlier in our trip so we could have visited more than once.

Great food, very disappointing service and management attitude.

We are long time Key West locals (two couples) who have eaten at Misohappy many times.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. So far so good. But when we ordered from the menu, the waitperson immediately told us that "we had not ordered enough food" and said we would be hungry if we did not order more. She also made it apparent that she was disappointed that we did not order alcohol to drink (which we did not).

After finishing our meal, and paying -- another surprise. Our waitperson said "goodbye" and, when we did not immediately leave, she went to the manager, who then came to our table and said: "Did you like your meal?" Yes, we said. Good food we said. "Are you going to order dessert?" No, we replied. To which he then said, "Time for you to leave so others can have this table." This happened about 3-4 minutes after we had paid our bill and it is worth noting that NO ONE was waiting for a table.

Good food is important, and Misohappy is good. But the service and attitude of the management was disappointing and not acceptable.

The best sushi in town!

For the best quality sushi, go here! The service is always excellent as well. We always get the hot sake, a cold Sapporo beer, the Miso Happy Roll, and the Smokey Roll. They have a really extensive sake menu as well!

Quaint little place with delicious, and I mean delicious sushi!! Servers were extremely attentive! and polite! Tuna nachos were unreal….

Cozy restaurant with limited seating. Some of the most fresh sushi I have ever had. Not the most affordable but very reasonable considering its location. Every time I go to Key West, I have to go here.

Great staff, restaurant is too crowded - you have to squish by diners to reach your table. Food is just average.

Great Loco tuna and lobster roll. The server was kind, prompt, and recommended the tuna roll. Delicious.
