I am appalled I even have to leave this review. I had to go to the hospital last night after ordering food from this restaurant! I found PLASTIC in my food!! I have never experienced this before and not to mention, the food is a bit pricey SO YOU WOULD EXPECT PROPER HANDLING! Also, I ordered BEEF massaman curry and they placed all different types of meat into my food (no idea what the meat was and the texture was TOUGH, hard as a rock) I will not be eating here ever again. You guys need to pay attention to how you handle your customers’ food! A lot of military people eat here, be careful guys! You can’t fight for our country on this kind of food intake! Do better!

We must try the Curry next time we visit, love the tea light candle dish. The Money Bag appetizer was tasty and cute. Loved the whole meal and friendly service.

Food is ok! I ordered chicken pad Thai medium heat but I think the spice was omitted. Normally with pad Thai there’s some sauce to it, this was pretty dry, and typically there’s some veggies even when you order chicken pad Thai. Mine had a few sprouts. And maybe that’s my limited experience with Thai, I’ve only ordered it a handful of times so if that is NOT typical ignore me. Got take out but the service when I entered was good and the restaurant atmosphere seems nice. Oh! Spring rolls and dipping sauce was on point! Over all I would give them another try, but this definitely doesn’t curb my Thai craving.

Absolutely phenomenal! Highly recommend getting one of the appetizer tasters; We got the second one and it was delicious. Massaman curry with beef blew us away! The beef is in tender chunks that fall apart with your fork. Very much a comfort food. Yellow curry was very good as well. The roti bread is a must to dip in the curry while you wait for it to cool down enough to eat. The price is very reasonable for authentic Thai food made from scratch with quality ingredients. The price would be steep if it was a typical mediocre American Thai place, but for the quality and taste here it is a steal. The sweet tea is great and refills are free. Best thai I have ever had!

When I walked in i told the woman in the front I was picking up both of the times I’ve been here before she’s rude. This time her attitude was fine not polite but not rude either. She asked my name she took the ticket off the order and charged me. It was the wrong food when I came back another woman helped me and she said the girl helping me before read me the order. She didn’t, so she lied and the second woman didn’t explain how they fixed the issue with the wrong charge so I was standing there confused wondering and all I can say is what poor customer service I receive every time I visit
It really sucks because the food and Nancy are pleasant. I want to look past the unpleasant experiences but the fact she lied makes me unwilling to. Sad for me

Our #1 go to for Thai food. They recently changed up their menu but still made the one meal i always get....Pad Prik King. Absolutely phenomenal. Chicken, green beans and carrots with chili paste. Thai hot is the way to go. We eat from this place at least 5 times a month. My wife's favorite is the duck. We've never had a bad meal. Anyone that visits us from out of town always gets a visit to Simply Tasty and nobody has been disappointed. A definite must.

Most of what I tried was great.The only problem was the white rice.the white rice Did taste a little stale. They may want to be careful because this is a very important Staple for thai food.

The second time I have been here in 8 years. Nothing has changed. Took 10 minutes for a server to arrive. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. We received our drinks but no one ever came back and we watched other people that came in after us and received food before we ever got checked back on. I guess if you live in Fleet Landing you are okay. Do no recommend.

When we arrived at 7:30 the Restaurant only had seven tables seated . We were seated in less than 10 minutes. We ordered appetizers and main course at once. To start we ordered the chicken satay and and Tom kha soup as a starter. For main course, we ordered the pad Thai and the 3 curry kingdom . The waitress did not wrote it down the order and I asked her if she would remember the order. She said yes and left. ( not a smile yet) We received the Chicken satay served with a thick strange sauce, the chicken had two different colored chicken and definitely wasn’t grilled .
After a few minutes I asked where was the Tom kha soup, apparently she forgot it and it came in after the first main course. Told the waitress it was too late and she took it back without an apology nor a smile. The 3 kingdoms curry came a few minutes later and was the best part of the meal.
A another waiter filled up our water, thanks to him!
The waitress never ask about the meal except when the came to ask if we wanted some dessert as we still had half of our food in our plate. We told her we were not finished but she dropped the credit card machine on the table, saying whenever you are ready…still not a smile on her face!
The food was barely okay not great, the service was terrible…we were looking forward to enjoying a great Thai dinner but ended up regretting being there. Maybe Chef Nancy wasn’t there but she should know that the quality of the food and the service will keep us away from the restaurant.

Really good food and reasonable price! It’s clean and staff is friendly! It was not a great experience for dining in. Service was way too long. If my friends and I weren’t so hungry we would have left but the food was so yummy. It felt like they prioritize the take out orders over the people in the restaurant. The BEST Thai restaurant in Jacksonville hands down.

Food is great, but they consistently lose business with me. They close and re-open in the middle of the day, worst time of day to be exact. You can call up to 45 minutes like I did before they “close” mid-day for them to tell you the kitchen is already closed until 4:30. Then, they have extreme trouble answering the phone, and it can be noon and they turn down your business because for example one time, “the frier was not on” ridiculous.

This is my favorite place to go for Thai food. They have the best tasting Thai in Jax! Yes, even better than those other two restaurants that used to be my favorites. My favorite dishes are Green curry, Drunken noodles and shrimp basil fried rice. Consistently delicious, with lots of flavor and heat if you want it. It's become the favorite for many of my friends as well. I try Thai food whenever I travel, and Simply Tasty Thai is still the best!!

This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is authentic and very sleek and the food is truly addictive! The cooks understand flavor. My favorite is the massaman curry & amazing peanut sauce!

We were at nearby Hanna Park and decided to give this place a go. For added context, I’ve been eating Thai since I was 11 years old, or 1985, so the bar is high. We had spring rolls for an appetizer. The spring rolls were meh. I ordered the beef noodle soup. Red and green curry was ordered by others in my party. The curry was well received but the beef noodle soup not so much. The broth was a bit watery and it took longer than expected. Overall, not a bad spot but not a spot I would plan around. Four stars is about right.

While in Jacksonville area on vacation I was craving pad thai, so I picked this spot because of the high ratings. I ordered the appetizer sampler #2 and pad thai with chicken mild. I've only had thai food once in my life other than this time so I don't have much experience, however I can tell you the food was super fresh, made to order, affordable, and tasty! I absolutely loved all the appetizers! I honestly would like to just eat that for dinner alone! The pad thai was ok, kind of bland, but like I said I've only had it one other time so I'm not sure if I'm misremembering the flavor or what if it needed more sauce. Either way I added some of the dipping sauces to it and it was great (sorry I don't know the name of the sauces however they're all yummy so no wrong answers here). Also, I loved that the carry out bag was a reusable one customized with the restaurants name and other details, such a cool idea. I would definitely eat here again and try something new, in addition to the yummy appetizers!

We have frequented most of the Thai Restaurants between the St Johns River and the Beaches, this place was by far the best in terms of selection, quality and atmosphere. In joining both Thai and Philippine Cuisine, the selection is diverse to attract all tastes. Both cuisines are delicious and authentic as I have been to both countries and understand how things can be different in Americanized food. This was the real thing Thai and Filipino wise. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, one of the long term chefs (Momma) personally did quality control on our food to ensure their standards were met. The atmosphere was pleasantly low key, the facilities clean and well seated, with plenty of family friendly areas, or quiet couple corners. Plenty of parking outside, and easy access for all mobilities. My wife and I highly recommend this establishment for a South Asian experience that will leave you wanting more. And we will be back for what we missed this time.

We drove really far to try out the place and it was a disappointment. Although the appetizer sampler was okay, the black bean specialty dish was SO salty, I could not eat it. I had my friend try it and he also agreed it was inedible how salty it was. My friend ordered the pad thai and it was alright, nothing special.

As someone who loves authentic Thai food, I must say this is one of the top meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the appetizer sampler, pineapple curry, and the fried banana cheesecake. All of them were incredible! Even the dishes the food came on were super pretty! I’m only in town for 4 days but I will be stopping back in before we head home!

Hidden in a small strip mall. Outside is very unassuming. Inside had a very nice decor. I had the red Thai curry with shrimp medium heat. It was perfect. I highly recommend this place. My only dig is my server. She was there, but totally disengaged.

My husband got the pineapple fried rice and I got the pad Thai. I think they forgot the spice in mine but it will still good. They were busy.

I've had curry, pad see ew garlic chicken dish and other entrees that were all absolutely delicious!

My wife and I have gotten take out from here twice. I have tried the Green and Yellow Curries and both are very good. I typically prefer green but their yellow was outstanding (perhaps the best I have ever had). I did take out and their service was slower than planned but within 5 minutes of the expected time frame and they did forget to put in my wife's thai tea which was disappointing for her but did not affect our score enough to bring it down to a 4.
In the relatively short amount of time waiting in the restaurant to pick up the food, the waiting area was fairly cramped and a little unorganized to who was waiting on pick up and who was waiting to be seated but the staff did a good job asking periodically for those here for take out.
It looked like a great atmosphere to eat and appeared very clean as well.

Ordered takeout while visiting the area. The wife and I had Pad Khing and Pad Se - Ew. The Pad Se-Ew was spiced #2, which was perfect for me. Pad Khing was a real winner. Generous portions that we had for lunch leftovers the next day. Very fresh and flavorful tasting. This isn’t our first time eating here and we’ll be back I’m sure. Service was quick and they even brought it out to our RV when it was ready.

I've been eating at Simply Tasty Thai for over a decade. The food is always fantastic and incredibly authentic. Reminds me of being in Thailand. And with ample notification, you can order off menu items that you can get in Thailand but not American Thai restaurants. Nancy knows Thai regional dishes. She is amazing!

I’m in the military and move every two years. In all of the places that I’ve lived and visited this is some of the best Thai food that I’ve had. The appetizer sampler platter was amazing and can’t beat a good chicken panang curry. Highly recommended!!!

I keep coming back to Simply Tasty Thai for so many good reasons…first of all, the green curry is just amazing; and I’ve had this dish in at least 5 other Thai restaurants in this city. When I moved here from California, I was so worried that I wasn’t gonna be able to find good Thai food in this city, but Nancy (owner and creator of these delicious dishes) proved me wrong. The service and passion that Nancy and her waitstaff provides has kept me and my family coming back time and time again! The servers have been there for many years and are exceptional; they are kind and attentive! Some of the dishes we order regularly are; all the appetizers, curries, pad Thai, drunken noodles, larb, fried rice, pancit, mango sticky rice…everything is so good! You can tell there is real passion for the food and service…as a long-standing customer…we notice these things!

If you are in Atlantic Beach or Neptune Beach and like Thai food, you have to check this spot out. Food is wonderful!

This is the BEST Thai rice I have ever had and the owner and Cynthia are extremely nice. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and this one tops them all. The spring rolls and the Filipino Pancit were also amazing! I live about 3 hours from here but I will definitely dine here again when I am in the area. I definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant is so fresh and so well managed it’s always a treat . It’s unfortunate that their curry dishes are not consistent. Sometimes they’re watery. Sometimes they’re flavorful and rich. We always try to order a noodle or rice dish which is always “spot on” in addition to the curry order.

Freaking LOVE THIS PLACE! The food blows my mind every time! Literally try new dishes each visit and it literally cease to amaze me how well some people in this world are so gifted in culinary arts! A mayport hidden gem. We love tai food and have tried many different places in Jacksonville, but this one is by far the best!! Each time we go we keep trying different menu items and love each one. The green curry, and pineapple curry is delicious. And sooo many VEGAN options! My toddler loves to eat the spring rolls and rice, which is a win for us. Check this place out!

Last minute decision to eat some Thai food and this place hits the spot. We ordered lunch special Beef basil fried rice, Pad Thai w/ tofu, and Shrimp pad see ew. All were delicious, however, if I can make a change that would be wider noodles for the pad Thai, other than that the seasoning/flavor was on point.

My wife and I have been eating here for many years, and it is absolutely our favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. Ingredients are fresh, plate presentation is always beautiful, and the spice is perfect. The Tom Kha soup is divine!!

OMG!!! This restaurant was AMAZINGGGGGGGG! We ordered the sampler platter #2. I had the shrimp Pad Thai, and my date had the pineapple curry. The other couple had the salmon curry, and the drunken noodles. When I tell you that all of it was GREAT, i mean ALL OF IT WAS GREAT! We also had the banana cheescake and Roti bread. Flavored with fresh spices, incredibly authentic and made to order. Best Thai I’ve ever had.

We started with the Thai sampler #2. It had the most variety of items and three sauces to dip into. All were tasty. For entrees we got the roasted salmon and shrimp phad thai. The former was a different texture & taste then what we normally get but was good. Their phad thai no matter what you put in it (shrimp, chicken, tofu) is always great. Make sure to order sticky rice & mango (if in season) to end your evening. You will be glad you did.

Over a 2 hour wait for food said it would be an hour. If you can’t handle more than the dining room don’t take phone orders.

I come in all the time and the curly brown hair female seems to have a problem each time. I asked for my order which was sitting on the counter and she pretended she had to look over receipts instead of just handing me my bag.

I ask her a second time and instead of just handing me the bag so I can be on my way she once again told me to hold on.

The bag was literally just sitting in arm's length of her and she refused to hand it to me.

The gentleman walked up and I asked him to hand it to me and then all of a sudden she wanted to grab the bag once he approached.

I called back and asked for the manager but they said she was not there. The gentleman who was helpful told me her name is Nancy and hopefully she reads this in addresses this employee.

If you don't know Chef Nancy you should! Fresh vegetarian rolls, Tom yum soup w tofu, best Thai tea in town, food from the Philippines as well. Check out Nancy's exquisite paintings of the Buddha and the Sanga!! Sweetest staff. Buffet during day.

The curry is where it is at. The pad thai dish is just ok, and try not to go there during rush or you will be waiting for a table to open up. Staff is also friendly.

So if you do any kind of delivery take-out through this place you won't get your food you'll wait a long time and you still won't get the food and then no mess up everything of if you want to make money and not lose your work job do not go to this place to take any orders that is good for your advice

This place knowingly gave me food poisoning. I went in AN HOUR before close and asked if the kitchen was still open and if it was ok to order. They said YES NO PROBLEM. I ordered shrimp curry and they neglected to properly defrost the shrimp.

This was months ago and I still have stomach problems from it. DO NOT GO HERE

It was simply amazing! The all the food ordered (fresh rolls, sweet and sour entree, amazing peanut sauce entree, Thai tea and sweet tea) were delicious and exceeded expectations. The waiter accidentally got really busy and forgot our drinks so not only did he apologize but he compted us for them. Also the food came out really fast. Additionally, we wanted noodles instead of rice and they didn't even add an up-charge. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Jacksonville!

Great find!! Rare to find khao soi on the menu and it was PERFECT! Just like we had in Chiang Mai! Papaya salad was also delicious! We will be back on another trip here!

We ate at Simply Tasty Thai with friends last night. We arrived at 610pm, they were very busy. We were warned it could be slow, but seated quickly. The apps came fast and were delicious. Chicken satay, spring roles, calamari, and dumplings all amazingly good. I had the Curry Mee. I tasted the Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. All so good. This place is really good. We'll be back.

The food was delicious and hot. Even though they were a little bit busy we received our main course in 35 min of being seated. There was only one waitress but other workers were helping with the dining room service, so 👍🏼to the team work. Loved the cozy atmosphere and decor.

The staff at Simply Tasty Thai is very friendly and courteous all the time, the food that Nancy and her kitchen serve is always fantastic.

Placed a pickup order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I got there in 10 minutes, sat there my food came out and it took the girl another 10 minutes before she checked and realized that it was my food. Wasted my time.

Best crab rangoons I have ever had! We also got pineapple fried rice and pad se ew and everything was absolutely delicious!

Some of the best Thai food available on Jax. Specializes in Northern Thai cuisine which we like much better than the Bangkok variety. It's lighter and tastier.

Awesome cuisine. A must is the crispy duck and the Thai crispy garlic jumbo shrimp. Also highly recommended are the three kindom curry and the crispy ocean with many seafood items in one dish. This was a meal we truly enjoyed. Very good service and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

The BEST Thai food in Atlantic Beach! I highly recommend the spring rolls, lumpia, the larb, roti, the pancit, and the pad se-ew. Chef Nancy’s food feels authentic and is truly delicious.

We went there for the first time last night. I think this was the best Thai food I have ever had. The crispy duck was magnificent. The Thai sampler plate was delicious. They also have Filipino food.

Simply disappointing service... I've always wanted to try this place, but I left very dissatisfied. I've never been to a Thai restaurant that ran out of rice. And not only did they not have rice to serve, but the wait staff didn't feel the need to inform us so we could order something different. Our food came out and our waiter promised our rice was being cooked. 10 minutes later and no rice, so I asked another server and was informed they ran out. Every other table was served rice except ours. Completely ruined our dinner, and the best they could do was give us half off one entree. It's really unfortunate because the food was tasty. Don't think I'll be going back any time soon though.

Excellent food and great staff. I will be recommending this to others. I highly recommend pineapple fried rice with level 2 for spicy. It isn't overly spicy at all and the sweetness of the pineapple chunks is a very good offset.

Everything we’ve ever gotten here has been delicious. Panang curry has been the best though! Super fast w pick up too!
