I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried Rice lunch special which was so tasty. You do get steamed rice of your choice out of white or brown. They give you two yummy Tortillas as your appetizer. Very delicious plate. Love this spot! Worth a try!

We had Chicken Pad Thai with regular noodles and Pork pad Thai with clear noodles. It was excellent. Tasted very fresh. The sprouts were white and fresh, the lime wedges were juicy and fresh. The portion was very large. We were only able to eat half so we took the leftover to go. The TomKah soup was excellent. I had it with tofu. Next time I would try the shrimp. My partner had egg drop soup. It was thick and more scrambled. He likes it better when the egg drop is a bit more liquid and has ribbons of egg instead of whisked egg, but it had good eggy flavor. Probably neither one of us would do the egg drop soup again due to consistency, but it’s a personal preference. Nothing wrong with it. Overall an excellent meal.

The Thai food was alright. Nothing special. We looked at the lunch menu and they were offering Massaman curry. I asked if it would be spicy and they said the lunch menu doesn’t contain spicy dishes and that we should order the normal Massaman which was twice as expensive. When the Massaman came is was not even mild. Extremely flavorless.
The tuna in my sashimi lunch was not fresh. Tasted and smelled off which made me feel iffy right after eating it.
Wouldn’t say I would come here again.

Tried this place out again, would say it was much better than the first time we tried. However it was still a mid level experience. Not worth the high prices.

An average Thai restaurant and nothing great to tell 😕.

Seems to be a trend of bad service from this establishment went on several occasions usually toplace a to go order they have a problem acknowledging people when they come in and thereby. Iwpt knowing who's next in line after yiu have waited forever just to place an order this is a small establishment so it doesn't take much to acknowledge a customer the 2 ND to the kast time I gave them a pass but there are plenty better thai restaurants I. The area that acknowledge me when I come and service their patrons the correct order that they arrived

Best Pad Thai in Fort Lauderdale area.

My husband and have been coming to Eddie Hill's for at least 20 years. I moved up north 3 years ago, but came down for Fantasy Fest at Key West. On my last day in Florida, my husband and I had dinner at Eddie Hill's again. it was absolutely stellar. Just as it always was---perfect! We had Tom Kha Gai, steamed rice, spring rolls, shrimp in a blanket and ended the meal with Thai donut. We could not ask for better! So pleased, and so full!

The food is always Good! The service is definitely friendly and attentive. As far as the place itself, it could use a deep cleaning and some paint. Clean the windows where the booths are. Other than that, I've always had great food.

Sushi was very dry, rice tasted like it was made the day before. overpriced for the quality you get. Grocery store sushi is better than this place. If you like quality sushi, avoid this place

We were driving by and saw this small restaurant and decided to try it out. It was a hidden gem!!! The food was 10/10. My husband and I sat at the bar and the sushi chefs were so nice to us! :) We tried: miso soup, pork gyozas, jb roll, and the sake, masago, tuna and unagi sushi. Shoutout to John, Darwin & Fausto who made amazing sushi and who’s service was impeccable!

I am new to Tahi food but I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service and the quality and taste of the food. Definitely going back to try more dishes. Will take pics and videos next visit.

A no frills “diner” that serves authentic Thai cuisine and excellent tasty Japanese sushi. This is a real treat to the Hollywood area and has been a mainstay for locals. Sushi rice is cooked perfectly, the Americanized crunch and sauces on the maki (sea of love) is spot on and the sashimi was fresh. (Hamachi jalapeño is excellent). If I didn’t live in midtown I would frequent this place much more often. It’s a great escape from the aventura madness.

Prices are very high for the food you received.. i ordered to go and it was very few chicken pieces .. my kids were very disappointed.. service was very friendly, but the lunch price is not worth it.. i had to pay for noodles, they dont want to switch the option instead of rice, and they just give me less than a cup of simple pasta$5 no sauce not veggies .. i lll never come back again

Was going to the place for decades, although I could not help, but notice the quality of food deteriorated in the past few years. I.e. the last time around, the Pad Thai was still excellent, but Tom Kha was sour (sour taste, not sour spoiled) to the point I couldn't eat it.

The worst part, however, is they now add a mandatory 20% tip to the check. Sorry, I am not giving away my right to determine the amount of tip I leave (or not) myself. Tipping is voluntary by definition, if you feel you want to pay your employees more - raise the prices and pay more. No need to shove that charge down your customer throats, pretending your prices are 20% less than they really are. So, although the service was good, I can only leave one star and stop patronizing this formerly fine establishment.

I used to love this restaurant but a few week I had a recent interaction with the front desk that was abhorrent. She was rude and put my daughter’s life in danger in the parking lot. When I confronted her with her actions she played dumb. As a local business, you have a responsibility to your patrons.

The food is good but the service is not, I love the sushi at this place but I had stopped coming because of the service, and I came again hoping to be better served, and they practically didn't take my takeout order because they close at 2:45 and when they were going to take my order it was 2:47 min (it was a small order, it wasn't going to take more than 10 min either) and on the internet it says that they close at 3pm, I won't go back to that place anymore place

Very cozy walk in Thai restaurant. The waitress was very cordial, and even saved me purchasing a large order. There was a Thai item I had never tasted before that came with my meal. Very yummy. Authentic hot green tea made my meal complete. I enjoyed the Chicken Pad Thai.

Frankly, this is our go-to restaurant for comfort food. Had a poor experience with service a couple of years ago but the quality of their food keeps bringing us back. We usually order few items from the Thai menu including Pad Thai with Shrimp, which by the way, is the very best around (and we have tried a few restaurants), also Panang Curry Chicken and Chicken Paradise (if you have not tried it, you should). The Japanese options are good as well, we have ordered them but we enjoy the Thai options more.

One of those places that if you judge it by appearance you would never enter, luckily it was recommended to me! I was very satisfied with the food, very delicious! Delicious! The service was good, although a little slow, they lacked staff. The modest, simple, cozy place is not needed anymore. I will be back

This is my favourite restaurant of all times, we come here twice a week at least, but the guy at the front desk/server in the glasses is rude, unprofessional and just terrible.
He definitely doesn’t know how to treat a paying customer. Also if your website says you close at 3, you can’t stop people from coming in
I really want the management see this and know that I will not be back. And we love Steve,chef and Fan, but after I got kicked out literally from coming in at 2:30 PM

Have been eating at this Restaurant for 20 years. It used to be a pleasure going here but not anymore. Their staff from many years ago was wonderful. Steve is the only one who has remained there and I will say he is great.
The staff hangs up on you when you call there. When you go in to pickup your food they pretty much throw your food on a empty table. The Owner should be ashamed of their staff (other than Steve). They really need training in their Customer Service skills. There are plenty of other Sushi restaurants that are just as good if not better .

Definitely good food in the wrong environment…I can’t eat here again till they up their cleaning standards big time ❤️
