Beautiful views play on a flatscreen. Service: They remembered us type a place. Great happy energy greeted us at the door. I am a wheelchair user, getting into places that are small can be challenging…not at 9-Thai-Sushi. Very accommodating to me. So appreciate this too. Mike and his staff treat customers like family. We love this restaurant.

Their ability to make esthetically pleasing food is incredible. Every meal that I get here I am always so impressed by their artistic talent.
The food is hit and miss in my opinion. Some dishes are excellent, whereas others fall flat. It’s especially damming when you have multiple dishes next to each other. Taste one roll and “BAM” absolutely in love, taste the other and “Meh…… it’s okay….. I guess.” The prices are fair, but a bit on the pricey side for the taste quality, in my humble opinion.
The best dish we tried today was the Duck Noodles Soup, followed with the Rainbow Dragon Roll. Both very good.
The service is super friendly, and the experience is good. We will come again, as we have been doing over the past few years.

What started out so amazing with excellent presentations on a variety of different platters, fun high quality service and very good sushi and thai has really changed. It was a go to, but will no longer be. The service is decent. However the quality of the sushi and presentation has really gone south. Sad as we really enjoyed it initially. It seemed around when they opened up the larger space, the management or ownership changed…not sure - but that’s around when it started to change. I with them luck and hope they find that early magic again. Changing from 5 to 4 stars.

Best service of our life! Greeted by a gentleman who you could immediately tell he loved his job. Pulled out our chairs, set our menus, and even opened our chopsticks. Food came quick and presentation was on point. We ordered 4 sushi rolls and it was obvious each roll was made with care, the freshest sushi we have had. Highly recommend the sushi and gyoza appetizer! Start to finish this was the best serving experience we have had. Our server even RAN to the exit door to hold the door for us as we left the restaurant. We have non stop talked about 9 tai sushi and will recommend to friends and family. It's A damn shame that humble locations like this one are going under. Here from the moment I walked in they tried to connect to me like family.

I say tried because the strain in their hearts was obvious.

This is our 2nd time having lunch here and is equally delicious as the first time. (Coming from Miami). They do have lunch specials for a very good price as well! The red curry is recommended!

Love this place. Go back again and again . Everything is beautifully presented. Even the cucumbers in a basic salad are cut pretty. Delicious ginger dressing! Service is top notch every time. They are all so happy! And the food is wonderful. My son loves the shrimp tempura roll. The Tom yum noodle soup is delicious and flavorful. The garden roll is perfect. The pad se ew noodle dish is fantastic and tofu cooked perfectly. The sushi is fresh and prepared to order. Tuna was fantastic. Never disappoints! We will be back again and again!

Excellent Thai Food and Sushi! - spice scale is on the lighter side for Americans. I had the Tom Yum, Spring Rolls and a Red Dragon Roll. The place was small and very clean. Everything was fresh and flavorful which met expectations from previous glowing reviews!

1 star for the food. We ordered sushi. I’ve had better experiences with grocery store sushi. We ordered five rolls. Portion sizes were ok. However, the specialty roll we ordered was much smaller compared to other rolls from other sushi establishments we’ve tried. Nothing tasted bad but flavor was considerably lacking on each of the five rolls. Wasabi appeared to be from a squeeze tube and had no pop (I like spicy so this was a disappointment) . The ginger seemed to be past its shelf life as that also was lacking pop.

I never leave reviews and if I do they are positive but I have to. I ordered one roll and a crab salad and my total was over $30. The crab salad had the tiniest piece of grab on it and it was just lettuce. The sushi roll tasted so bad on first bite I spit it out, it tasted awful. Not even a taste of something I don't like, it was an off-putting can't eat it taste. I will never be back and wish so badly I could get a refund. Not fresh, so expensive.

BEWARE. I ordered $60 worth of sushi and majority of it tasted sour. I called to let them know, they told me to bring it back. I brought it back and the female owner refused to give me any sort of refund because i ate a piece. Of course I ate a piece and realized it was sour. She then told me I was a liar and that there was nothing wrong with it. It was absolutely sour. I was a loyal customer before, but will absolutely never be coming here again. If that woman truly is the owner, that is horrible!

Overpriced and low portion sushi

Not only is the food great, this place continuously provides the best service of any restaurant I’ve been to in the area. My girlfriend and I have been here many times and we’re always greeted enthusiastically.

I don’t know any names, but the employees here are always working together with the tables and it always blows my mind when I see how much care they put into their service. They always present the menus to us and align our appetizer plates and bottles of sauces when they bring them to our table. They do everything with precision and you can tell they want the customer to have a great experience. I don’t think my drink has ever been below half empty before they come to refill it. I definitely recommend this place and can’t say enough about the effort they’ll put into your dining experience.

Wonderful Thai food!

This is our favorite Thai place in the area! We love the red curry, sushi, duck soup, spicy edamame, and clear noodles! All the gentlemen who work there are always so nice, and even if we get take out they go above and beyond! Highly recommend.

Food was fresh and tasty! I got a sushi roll, pad Thai, miso and a salad. They added and extra cup of the tamarind sauce for me like I asked. The boba was delicious also! The real reason I’m writing this review is to make a comment about the excellent service I received. The man who was doing take out noticed my hands were full when trying to grab the bags so he carried them out to my car for me!! I didn’t even ask he just did it. Such a sweet guy. Thanks for the great food and the amazing attitude that made my day so much better.

We’ve lived here for two years and have finally found our go to Thai place! Wow, we came for lunch and it was excellent! My husband and I both got the Bento Box Lunch Specials. I got the pad Thai and my husband got the fried rice. Absolutely the best pad Thai I’ve had to date! Each meal came with a yummy spring roll, delicious pot sticker, and a sushi roll! Plus, we had extra to bring home. Everyone was very friendly as well. We will be back!

Confession: we’re hard to impress. That said, this restaurant actually lives up to its 4.5 rating - which is about as good as you’ll find. The server and manager were super friendly. My wife rated her shrimp wonton soup and spring rolls as ‘excellent.’ My ‘garden rolls’ were also top notch. Their take on calamari is a bit different - not the way you’d get it in an Italian restaurant (well, ‘duh.’) My volcano roll was very good. We’ll go back, for sure.

Ordered sushi to go, got the rainbow roll which is $14.95. Got home and this is the smallest roll I’ve ever seen. The fish is so thin, barely any rice or filling. The roll was cut so that some pieces had multiple types of fish on top, really bad. Wasabi is from a squeeze tube. Harris teeter sushi is better and I paid $15?!

This is a fantastic sushi spot! The staff are so welcoming, attentive and accommodating. The 9 Thai atmosphere is super clean, feels family owned and warm. You can really tell they care about their business! The food is presented beautifully, sushi is fresh and delicious. The fried rice portions are very generous and tasty! I also very much enjoyed their miso soup. We'll make it a regular on our dining out rotation for sure.

Friendly and willing to make the food hotter for me, but the curry was too salty, the ingredients were of a quality where I suspect they had been canned or frozen, and I wasn't impressed by the flavor of the curry.

This was my first time ordering from 9 Thai. Loved everything about the experience. I arrived to pick up the online order and it was almost ready. My granddaughter was with me. The waiters stopped by to do "magic" tricks while we were waiting. They gave her a children's chopstick holder that she loved. I ordered the Shrimp pad Thai which was so delicious and fresh tasting. The portion was more than enough for 2 people. Everyone else loves their choices. I would recommend the food and friendly, happy service and will order again. It was so good.

Best vegan pad thai!!!

Foods are overage good, service is overage nice, waiting time is reasonable, but prices are absolutely crazy high. Make sure you look at menu prices and check your wallet content before you take a seat in there, just to avoid embarrassing yourselves when you finish your dinner and not having enough mula to pay your bill. We paid around $200 for 4 of us for nothing fancy dinner. Luckily we had credit card with us.
This place is not for overage middle-class working people to enjoy. Unless you won the lottery and have nothing to spend money for. Just go elsewhere and you will pay only half what you would spend at this place. This is simply rip-off shop.

One of the only spots I know of that serves a good-sized portion of salad 🥗! Had the sashimi salad that came with white fish, tuna and salmon. My son had the spicy tuna ! 😋 this is my 3rd time at this sushi place and it never fails . Service is fast and good 👍

Needed a place to eat. Those in our group were up for sushi. Stopped here because we saw it along the road. What a wonderful surprise. This place is quite small, has a very nice ambiance & wonderful food. Some in our group had a lobster ravioli appetizer & were enamored with it. Definitely worth a stop.

Had a mixed experience here at 9 Thai. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and excellent table service. The Yellow Dragon Roll was the best sushi roll I've ever had and everything about it from the salmon to the shrimp tempura was fresh. We also order Pad See Ew and Chicken Pad Thai. Neither of these were the best we've had but the Pad See Ew was edible. The Pad Thai however was not edible; it was a bowl of sweet, mushy, and dry noodles. My main issue arose when I tried to return the Pad Thai and replace it with something else in its place. The owner was very aggressive with me over the phone and after a few minutes of going back and forth over the phone she allowed the server to remove it from the check but would not allow us to order anything else after that. Maybe skip the Pad Thai but don't miss out on their sushi!

We ordered two vegetarian dishes. My husband got Pad Ka Prao w tofu $10.95. The entrée came out with 5 tiny cube tofu, the rest is unions, bell peppers and rice. I got Tom Yum noodles Soup $15.95. Small portion of noodles, half an egg, the rest is broccoli.
Our eyes were open looking at each other when the waiter brought them out. They serve “cheap” small portion but charge very high price!! We walked out of there paid $44.57. If we were eating meat, I will be feeling not as much disappointed. But we are vegetarian and Tofu is so cheap!! What a waste of money eating here. First time and last..never be back!!

Food was delicious and staff was really attentive, helpful, and extremely nice to my kids!

I basically come here just for sushi, and it's solid. I can tell they are made to order, and use fresh ingredients. I wish they would expand the sushi selection a bit further, but you get the quality basics here.

Seriously, just GO. Firstly, my husband, who NEVER says anything, let alone compliments restaurant service, could not stop raving about this restaurant, and the impeccable service they provided! They held the door open upon entering, and greeted us like friends they hadn’t seen in years. During our entire time at the table, we had several servers come up to our table with app, entrée, and dessert suggestions. We had the spring rolls (3), 2 sushi rolls, fried rice with chicken, khaow soi, and Thai donuts (which our son devoured in 15 seconds).
Overall, I 10/10 recommend going, and if we’re ever in this area again, we’ll be coming in! Thank you guys so much!

Great little sushi place in a strip mall! It was recommended to us by local when we were in town visiting and we ate there three times within 10 days! The sushi master is just that, he does a great job, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the young man who is the waiter does a great job. Good portions, fresh tasting seafood, and everything made to order equals a great experience! I feel bad I didn’t take many pictures but as soon as our food arrived we eat!

Not authentic Thai food. I got the pad Thai and it doesn’t come with bamboo shoots nor lime. They give lemon instead of lime and it just isn’t the same without the lime and bamboo shoots. The pork fried rice needs much help. White rice with vegetables and pork thrown in with soy sauce to make it look like fried rice, terrible. I was very disappointed and will not return. I’ve had authentic Thai food this is not the place. I also asked for Thai hot another failure not even hot at all. I gave it two stars instead of one star because it is American Thai food, meaning they are making it to suit American taste. When I go to have authentic Thai I expect it to be authentic.

Please go somewhere else if you want Thai food. I don’t normally give bad reviews but the food tastes so horrible

No. Just no. Don’t do it. Completely flavorless Thai food and basically sports bar sushi. I guess that’s common in Florida, though.

This was our first time here and the food was pretty good but I think I ordered the wrong thing. The people were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I will try again.

My new favorite restaurant

The sushi was delicious! Try the Chili Hamachi if you like some heat 🔥 the Drunken Noodles were amazing as well. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional and the restaurant was super clean with nice, comfortable decor. Zero complaints…will definitely be back!
