For the entree I had the pad see eaw and i thought it was ok. I wasn't really a fan of the noodles. On the other hand the beef fried rice was pretty good.

I have nothing but praise for DeBary Thai! I have been there 3 times now and it's always been a pleasant experience! The food is awesome, the staff are really nice and helpful and the atmosphere is really calming! Their Yellow Curry has to be the best curry I've ever had! Definitely recommend!

It was so flavorful, great full portion, and Thai hot like I love! I’m Thai so I definitely know good Thai food and this is it! I highly recommend! :)

I was surprised to find this small, unique restaurant in Debary.
The staff were funominal and they food was delicious and taste like a restaurant I frequent in Tennessee.
The decor of the walls next to my booth were very eye appealing and peaceful.
The first thing I asked was, did they have sticky mango ? What is sticky mango, you ask. It is fresh mango slices with steamed rice with gooey warm creamy sauce. Put the fresh mango on top of the rice, and you got a masterpiece in your mouth. Most Thai restaurants, this is seasonal but not here in Florida.
Next, the meal I had for dinner was the Padi with chicken/rice noodles/nuts/ that was made to perfection. The meal prepared fresh with noodles steaming hot as I picked up each bite.
Everything from the presentation to taste was unbeatable.
I can't wait to go back.

Had to stop by Deltona for work and decided to grab a bite I’ve had Thai in Orlando, Cocoa, Miami and Tampa and this spot is top notch!

I’m only sad I’m not local to come enjoy it more often!

Love the pad thai chicken. This place changed owners not long ago. I really loved it b4. Took a few tries with the new owners, but now I'm back in love. It is a bit different than b4. But equally as good. When I'm in the deltona/debary area, this is my go-to place for thai.

First, i must say most Thai restaurants will not make Thai tea with coconut milk this fine establishment will! I didn't take pictures this time, but everything was made to order beautifully. My group preferred vegetarian dishes, and they all tasted perfect. I do like gluten free yet i didnt ask this time... but im sure most curry is. They also seem very accommodating.

We did take-out. Excellent flavors. We will definitely return. It's satisfying to find good Thai food in the area.

All I can say is amazing! I have not found a thai place this good. The pictures with the menu are exact to what you receive which helps for those not sure what to expect. The taste is above an beyond! Very good quality ingredients. And the atmosphere is wonderful.

This is the best Thai I have found in West Volusia. Fresh Sunmer rolls and Curry never disappoint.

I had lunch there for the first time today with a friend. I will definitely be a repeat customer next time I'll have my husband go with me . The food was delicious, the people were friendly, and polite the restaraunt was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable . Parking lot is small but the food is excellent so you figure it out.

Wow we stumbled on this by chance and everything has such robust flavors. Spice level is great, we ordered everything spicy, the sweet potato cream puffs were so flakey and a great starter. We got the Tom yum soup was so bright and zesty you can taste all the fresh flavors, the keffir lime and lemongrass very prominent. The green papaya salad was so big and refreshing with a kick. The yellow curry broth was such a perfect consistency and full bodied flavor of coconut milk and curry blend, fluffy rice nice and fresh. The drunken noodles were so good and a big portion. We got everything with chicken or shrimp. And I love that they can make their Thai tea with coconut milk since I don't do dairy. So thick and not overly sweetened full tea flavor. Some Thai places food tastes watered down and not this one! We are glad we came in today and will definitely be back.

This is absolutely, without a doubt my favorite Thai restaurant ever. Service and food ate exceptional. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food all over Florida and this is by far the best. My personal favorite is the Thai Basil Chicken stir fry.

I tried to eat here for lunch every day about a month ago, when I was working in the area. I don't remember exactly what I had, but I know I tried some curries and stir-fried dishes. I do remember that everything I had was delicious, and the prices and portions were appropriate. I doubt if I'll be back in that area again, but if I am, I know I will be eating here again.

Also, the waitress who brought my food was super cute.

This place as some amazing food that my fiancee and I stumbled upon. Crab Rangoon is a must try here. But typically order pad Thai and there chicken fried rice because my fiancee loves fried rice and it comes out great the times we have order. Highly recommend only down side is that the prices can be expensive but hey the quality of the food is great. Most of the dishes prolly cost a few bucks to make but they change for there quality. Hope this review was helpful and some people can enjoy there delicious food.

I recently dined at this amazing Thai restaurant and had the fried rice and Pad Thai—both dishes were absolutely delicious! The fried rice was perfectly seasoned with a great balance of flavors, and the Pad Thai was everything I hoped for: fresh, savory, and with just the right amount of spice. The portions were generous, and the presentation was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. 10/10, I can’t wait to come back!

One of the best Thai foods I ever had!

The food is exceptional. We'll definitely return. We were carry out so we didn't experience the dine in atmosphere, but the place looks nice enough, & the staff was friendly. You'd be surprised, because it's very unassuming from the outside.

We recently visited a Thai restaurant and were quite impressed with the overall experience. The place was exceptionally clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was bursting with authentic flavors that took us straight to the heart of Thailand.

However, we did have to wait a long time for our food; it took about an hour for our dishes to arrive. Despite the long wait, the quality of the food made it worth it.

Overall, we had a great time and definitely plan on returning. The delicious food and pleasant atmosphere make it a spot worth visiting again

Truly the absolute best hot Pad Thai I've ever had in Florida. Bar none. The fried dumplings are worth the trip from even Orlando.
My only gripe, and it's a minor one, they close kinda early (but it's an area that rolls up the sidewalks at 9pm!) so it's not totally their fault!

When it was called “that Thai place” the cashew nut had pineapple and was delicious, now it costs 2 dollar extra if u want to add it to it it has more peppers now, still a nice spot and good service but the food changed a bit.

Food is delicious esp their Pad thai (Hope they don’t change the cook). Staff is great. If they mess up your order, they are pretty quick in resolving the issue with no drama . Price is $$. Nice ambience.

I am in town for a work trip and I was hesitant to stop here. I came across the friendliest staff, a clean restaurant, and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough

This is an excellent small restaurant. The staff was very friendly, polite and efficient. The food is amazing! I had the Ka Pow with white rice (a basil enriched dish and added chicken. One of my friends enjoyed the drunken noodles and the other one had the pad woon sen with cellophane noodles. We couldn't decide how spicy we wanted our lunches as this was our first visit, so they brought to the table a delicious and oh so spicy pepper paste to add as we liked. They've only been open about 2 months, a small, very clean and intimate place that I imagine is a "mom and pop". I do hope you'll go, support them and enjoy the atmosphere and food if Thailand!

It’s an emotional whirlwind when your favorite local restaurant is swapped out overnight with no notice to another name and owner- That Thai Place was a staple in our rotation.

We’ve since tried to order out with Debary Thai twice and tried some basics to see how the adaptation is and are disappointed. I feel like the noodles are much oilier and you feel heavy and bloated after eating, the meat is a little rubbery and bland.

I have ordered the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai now, and, I wasn’t able to finish eating either. I ordered the ginger rice dish for my husband and will say the flavor of the sauce there was nice, but, the meat was still not the right texture.

I’m truly hoping that as time goes on things improve but right now it’s merely mediocre and such a huge contrast from the Thai place it is replacing.

I’d suggest rebranding a bit because the same decor, location, and type of food makes it hard to really adjust to something new.

I have been looking for quality Thai food. I do believe I found it here. I tried there tom soup and pineapple fried rice with chicken. I love them both. If I had more time, I would have sat down and ate there. It's a nice set up.

Sorry to hear that the previous owner of That Thai recently sold it to a new owner. The new restaurant is now called "Debary Thai Restaurant," which they opened on March 2, 2024.

Regarding their food menus, Debary Thai’s way of cooking the food is somewhat better, especially the Pad Thai Chicken, but I haven’t tried the other items. Overall, we enjoyed the three orders I made (Pad Thai, Pad see ew, Tom yum soup, and Thai Basil Fried Rice).
