Honestly the worst food experience in a long time. Food was horrible. Didn’t taste real. Made a mistake on our order and had to drive back to fix it and did not even seem sorry. Never eating here again and truly flabbergasted at how many regulars they have.

the food was great. We ordered a happy family meal , wonton, egg drop, miso soups, evergreen rolls, and a kids katsu meal. I will say the only odd parts were that the katsu came grilled? typically it's breaded, but not in this case. and the wonton was very salty, so salty you couldn't taste what kind of broth it was. Everything else was so good it made up for these 2 items. The lady was very nice too.

Whenever I come her I always get the shrimp tempura roll with extra eel sauce. They have yet to disappoint. I do wish the dining experience was a little more inviting but other then that, this spot is great. The staff is super friendly and they will offer great suggestions. Lunch special is relatively cheap, loaded with lots of rice so you’ll have decide for sure.

Threw the food right in the trash. Giant chunks of Walmart crab meat in the fried rice, extremely greasy meat, rice had a very strange texture, questionable content of “chicken”. For $50… so not worth it. Stay away.

Spike Ty is the perfect place for a quick lunch or take out meal. The Tuna Tataki is always delicious. I overheard someone order egg fried rice so I've ordered it every visit since. I always enjoy a Kirin light. The staff is beyond nice, they seem to know every customer.

Food- im conflicted. We both had lunch specials that for the price was outstanding. Its a fusion place serving thia(sortof) Sushi(sortof) and chinese. The thai soup was good but missing thai ingredients.....the salads were large and tasty just add a couple cherry tomatoes please. I had the chicken and cashews and it was VERY DIFFERENT then regular experience. This was Super Good! Extra crispy chicken with fresh vegetables and a sauce that tasted like it was made 5 minutes ago not a year old. The roast pork with vegetables had large pork slices and really was fresh too.
I think chinese food is the specialty of this restaurant and i cant wait to try more dishes. Thank you for being original.

Food is phenomenal..

Basically a small clean easy to like, eat in or take out Chinese cuisine restaurant. Food is always excellent, the staff is friendly and very efficient, and I’d say more than 90% is take out.
Orders are filled, no errors or omissions on my orders and I’ve been a customer for more than seven or eight years.

Sushi is good

I hate to say this because it will probably make it even busier, but this is our go to place for sushi. They have a wide variety of rolls. We typically do take out just because the place is not that big. We have tried quite a few of their rolls and I think there has only been one or two that was just average. Most are very good. We have tried a lot of their Thai dishes as well. While I am not crazy about their curries, all of their other dishes are outstanding.

If you do order takeout, ask if they are busy. They tend to underestimate the time it takes. So if they say 30 minutes but they are busy, I'd plan on 45.

I have been eating here for years, and it never disappoints. Delivery is just as good as eating there. Customer service is top-notch, I would say some there have eidetic memory because they won't forget you, even if you order delivery. I will continue to eat here as long as I live in Florida. I am surprised it took me this long to get a prompt to review. As for recommendations, all of it!

Super expensive and the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Sweet and sour Chicken was over whelmed with red and green peppers, totally ruined the taste. Fried rice????? So not fried rice. Dry white rice with a little of ???something mixed in. No vegetables, egg or bean sprouts. And did I mention it's white rice "Not Fried". Duck sauce looks like vaulted butter and has no flavor. BIG WASTE OF MONEY

3 stars become pay extra for chicken and only got 3 pieces in dish. The special wonton soup no flavor. Loved the fried Salam roll. 😋

We had ordered sesame chicken dinner special, roast pork egg foo young, pork lo mein, and the egg rolls, and I have to say, we were delighted! We've been trying to find a new Asian restaurant to order from for years now as the ones we used to order from have dropped severely in quality.
All of the sesame chicken was actually edible! I've always had tough/inedible pieces from other places, but this place gets it right. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and cooked right. Someone also seemed to have snuck in 2 pieces of mini-looking pork gyoza I think it was. Whatever they were, they were delicious and I will be ordering those next time!
The pork lo mein was also good, and actually tasted fresh and not mushy as if it was sitting for hours to be reheated.
The egg foo young tasted great and had a nice portion size. Our only complaint was we wished it had more gravy

Spikey Ty is my go to for sushi and Thai.
The red curry is consistently good, as are the sushi rolls I get. The lunch specials are a great value especially for my on the go lifestyle as a realtor. The staff is friendly and the service is pleasant.

Very good place to eat. Consistently good food, good service, polite staff. They cover a wide range of Asian dishes and all are good, good quality ingredients. I have NEVER had a bad meal from this place. Highly recomended.

The food was exceptional. The service was fast and efficient. My only issue was that I had ordered the wrong menu item (my fault, of course) and thought I ordered lo mein noddles, but clicked chow mein accidentally instead when doing my online order. So after picking up my food. I noticed this item was not what I wanted. I called to let them know, and the person who answered said, "This is what you ordered." Basically, you're stuck with it... instead of displaying some empathy or a chance to return what we didn't want and swap the item for what we really wanted. Can't win them all, lol. Other than this, the experience was good overall.

Food's consistently good

Can not really eat there. It's really for pick up as the small numbert of tables were full when I went. Great orange chicken and crab rangoons.

There's limited seating in the restaurant. Their primary business is pick-up and delivery. Their food is consistently good, and they have an extensive menu.

I’ve loved this place for months. However, I dined in with a group of friends and had quite the appetizer surprise. I ordered the pork steamed dumplings and was cutting them in half. When I cut one open a decent sized bug fell out of the inside onto my app plate and was ALIVE. Legs moving around and all. We obviously stopped eating them and asked the plates to be cleared from the table. The lady serving our table pretended to have a hard time seeing it when I asked her for a clean plate and fork. It also still showed on our bill. Shocking to see that this is the customer service and quality of food, considering I love their sushi😢

We ordered pad Thai, and red curry from Spikey Ty, for the first time, today and there was hair in the pad Thai. Sadly my husband chewed on it before he realized. Gross & disgusting. Wear hairnets!!!!! Will never place an order from this place ever again!

My order was 20 mins late after I ordered online..Granted they were busy but still got no soy sauce and no extra tso sauce as requested online. Rice was half raw and was given an attitude when asked. Not usually how they are but on Sat 12/03/22 the service was horrible.

The food lacks flavor. Everything we ordered tasted gross. We waited 2 hours for the food to be delivered, our first Uber driver ended up canceling because the wait was too long, the second driver had to wait 35 minutes for the order to be ready, he even asked us to call and find out what was going on because they kept ignoring him. When we called the lady was rude and said they were extremely busy and had over 20 tickets in front of her. The tuna in the sushi was dark (brown), the soup tasted watered down and wasn’t spicy at all, the chicken in the soup was slimy, the chicken and vegetables had a weird white sauce not usual on Thai food and the slimy chicken had cold spots (not normal room temperature but actually cold). Even the white rice was completely dry.
Never again, no wonder the prices are so low. You get what you pay for.

Food took 2 hours for delivery. No one was in store according to Uber Driver. Soup tasted like somone poored extra water in it. Chicken has a weird thick almost cream to it, not normal for Thai. Everything else was sub par.

How can your chicken wings be bland and soggy. Your low mein noodles taste like bland spaghetti noodles. Never again. This is the worst. Might as well order Panda Express.

Our absolute favorite Chinese and sushi. Hubby always tries different sushi rolls. Says they are fresh and delicious. Spikey ty is by far our favorite Chinese. The lady who answers the phone is always so sweet and I love her laugh. They are happy to go above and beyond to customize our chow fun to my liking with mushrooms and snow peas. Kids (picky eaters) love their dumplings, (best dunking sauce) sesame chicken (definitively white meat) Wonton soup and we are all obsessed with their fried rice. hands down THE best fried rice.

Please don’t believe the good reviews. This food is awful. The fried rice was disgusting lacked any flavor, minimal vegetables, awful taste. The honey garlic chicken was underwhelming, I cannot express how bad it was. Their evergreen roll is a disgrace the the ingredients it’s made of. Absolutely horrible wouldn’t eat this is I was starving.

The lady who picked up the phone was rude from the beginning of the call and the way to then end. As I was placing my order I was told to hurry up because she was really busy! I was trying to modify my sushi and she told me if I'm not sure what I want right to hang up and callback because I could not decide! Then my food did not taste right! My friend also ordered and her food was made wrong, when she called the same lady said that her driver will take an hour to bring her food to our job. The lady was just very rude! Like ridiculously rude! I won't ever go back and won't tell anyone I know to go there because of how rude she is there.

Placed an order over the phone for pick up. Got to the restaurant and picked it up. Paid, checked the bag and saw that the box was wrapped so couldn’t open and check if the order was right. But they had the receipt on the bag and the lady repeated it back to me so i assumed it was correct. Got back to work and they gave me white rice when i wanted fried rice. When i called i asked if they can have a new plate delivered this this since I’m on my lunch break. They said originally it would be 30-40 min. Then when i confirmed i wanted it delivered they said it would take an hour. So gave mt address. I hung up and shortly after i opened the box and tried a piece of the chicken to see how it was (I’ve only had their food twice) i didn’t like it at all. I ordered general zso chicken and it tasted like orange chicken. I called back to see if they can send me something else instead. A different lady answered and said they can’t send me anything different, only to replacement. Then said that i have to bring the plate back and they can give a refund then make soemthing new, even though the other person i spoke with said they can deliver the food to me. The woman was rude from when we ordered the food until the last call. I will never order from here again.

The best Thai in town! Although this is more a takeout place they do have a few tables and we always enjoy having our dinner there. The service and the staff are friendly and the prices are good. I moved from Europe to the US a couple of years ago and after checking out a lot of thai restaurants, this is my favorite place to have the red curry!

I can’t believe I didn’t write a review yet. You know who I am, we order the same thing every week - Thai Curry chicken/masamum chicken, house lo mein, and Mongolian beef are usually the main staples. All I can say is this is the best Thai food ever, compares to real Thai restaurants. Always fresh. Place is clean and staff is nice and delivery is fast and reasonably priced (better if you call them than order online though as it didn’t let me specify how spicy I wanted my dishes) thank you Spikey Thai!!!

Finally, good Asian/Chinese food in the Parkland/Coral Springs area.... Without a doubt, the best around... better than any of the local take out places, and even better than any of the sit down restaurants (this place offers ... We tried 7 menu items and all were delicious. So glad we have a go-to place now...

A little more expensive than most places, but worth every penny... Entire family was happy!

This is our "Thai Local." We always return. They can be a little inconsistent - we suspect substitute chefs now and again, but always good. Great people.

Terrible experience: Got a very rude welcome in the restaurant, asked about the menu and got told nobody would care about me because of the place I was standing in near the register. Ordered sushi to go and got told to wait 15 minutes. An hour went by and when I asked I got no response, then asked again and they told me they didn’t make my order and voided my payment. Don’t recommend it at all. Left hungry and white a terrible first impression.

The peanut chicken was terrible. It's literally peanut butter and chicken. The chicken is supposed be fried, which it was, but i could tell it wasn't fresh because it was soggy. $14 wasted.

Probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. I had the general tso's chicken (medium spicy) and it was delicious. My husband had the shrimp fried rice and it was nice and smoky and deep in flavor. Incredible. Can't wait to go back and try the sushi.

The coconut soup is delicious!!!! The Pad Thai was decent but the beef and broccoli really lacked flavor. When I first tried to order from google it would have been sent with post mates and the extra charges would have been close to $15, I did Uber eats instead with free delivery and tip of my choice. My food arrived hot and I was happy about that! I am going to try a different place next though.

Placed an order and was told 35 minute pick up time. After an hour and fifteen minutes my friend politely asked the server if it is going to be much longer. The server just mumbled something and walked away which was very rude at which point I just asked for my money back and we left. They saw us sitting there for 45 minutes and at no point did they update us or apologize for it taking so long or tell us anything. This was the second time in a row this happened to us and this will be the last time.

4.4 out of 5. Thai curry, egg roll, soup, and noodles are good just like any Thai restaurant but slightly tastier. Very small business with decent selection. Compared to the rest of the Thai places I've been to Broward County so far this place is convenient.

It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. We were told 45 minutes, so once we got there to pick the food up, we had to stand and wait for over 30 additional minutes.

I ordered the vegetable pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken with white rice. When I walked in the restaurant there was a guy behind the counter preparing sushi or some food. He didn’t greet us at all. I guess he felt me staring at him and decided to ask if I’m picking up an order, I said, “yes”. He called someone from the back, a lady walks from the back and she was nice. She took the payment and we got our food. Now this is the first time I’ve ever ordered from here. The pad thai was horrible. This is the first time I’ve ever spit out broccoli. The taste was a combination of freezer burnt broccoli and reclaimed water. Needless to say, I did not finish the pad thai. I was excited about eating from here because I had a friend talk about how amazingly fresh and delicious their food is. For me, that is my first and last order. Their food is like a really bad pei wei.

Some of the best sushi you will find in all of South Florida. Fish is well portioned and always fresh. Never had a bad experience in the 30+ times I have gone.

It was my first time ordering from this restaurant on DoorDash. I ordered the pad Thai and chicken fried rice. The pad Thai was ok, I don’t think I would order it again because I have had better at other restaurants but it wasn’t bad. The chicken fried rice was disappointing. It only had chicken, egg, and onions. Usually you have more vegetables... etc in the fried rice.. again not horrible but I would probably order it from moon Thai.. same with the pad Thai it’s better at moon Thai.

The food tasted fresh and the flavors were right on point!! The portions where great for the price (even had enough for dinner). I definitely am excited to keep trying the different meals they have to offer!

This place is so delicious and so fresh! Nicole helped me so much. We are new to the area. It is the only Asian restaurant we have been to that doesn't charge extra for brown rice. The noodle dishes were perfectly cooked and not gummy. The tofu was the best we have had in South Florida. Ask Nicole she will help you order. Can't wait to return

Placed an order through door dash that was ignored. Was told 45 minutes through the website and no one checked the order so the driver was told another 45 minutes for 2 rolls and edamame. Noone there wanted to help since I ordered through a service. I have been a loyal customer for years including encouraging my work to place large orders this has changed my opinion.
