Browsed the selections and did not notice any Thai cuisine. Saw egg rolls, wonton soup, & Lo Mein.
The name RUBY THAI is misleading. Perhaps the chef is Thai but the cooking is more likely Chinese takeout style.
That being said… I had the $10.50 curry chicken with veggie fried rice. It wasn’t bad and I did eat all of it. The food is okay and it’s quite busy each time I walk by.
Don’t come here expecting anything resembling Thai food except for the name.
Not sure how this location could receive less than 4 stars. It's in the mall where all the prices are supposed to be high, yet Thai kitchen remains extremely fair. Food is always delicious and consistent for me and my father. Highly recommend the fried fish. Also speaking with two of the chefs at the wok station has been pleasant both times. Must check them out for the cost of under 15 dollars.
I just had an incredibly frustrating experience at Ruby Thai Kitchen in Cristina Mall. I stopped by to pick up food for my son, so I can’t comment on the quality of the food yet, but the customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff seemed completely disorganized and unprofessional.
After paying for my order, the girl who rang me up left my food on the counter without a word and walked away. When I tried to get her attention to confirm it was mine, she ignored me. I eventually had to reach over the counter to grab my food myself, which was ridiculous and completely unacceptable.
The staff was also shouting at customers without providing clear instructions, making the whole experience chaotic and unpleasant. They really need to work on their customer service and organization. I won’t be returning anytime soon. Or ever!
First time eating here. Ordered the spicy shrimp pad Thai and was immediately satisfied. Was fresh hot and tasty. Looking forward to coming back again!! People complaining about price where can u get anything for 6 dollars anymore? Those days are long over.
They gave me shrimp in my food after I spicifily told them I was allergic and refused to change it or give me a refund absolutely terrible service.

This is one of the best Thai places in the area especially if you are a pad Thai fan. I get it everytime at the mall.

Got food poisoning.
If I can give this a 0 I would. This used to be a nice clean place to grab lunch/dinner but now they are very rude and dirty. They rush the line because they lack the customer service and common decency. When there is a language barrier they get angry. A Indian girl was serving me she was rushing and doing half scoops of my food and very rude when I asked her was that all she was going to put in my container. I had to demand her to add more food which was only green beans. The attitude of the cashier was nasty - he snatched my card - usually I would snatch back and cancel my order but he quick swiped my card. The food is subpar for them to be raising prices. This place and SukiHana is a nasty waste of time.
I remember when I first moved here, you could get a nice big meal of decent quality food for about $6. Really it was the incredible value that made it worth it to put up with the lousy service and rude workers. Well, fast forward to today and with meals at $10-$12, suddenly I'm not so enthusiastic about putting up with the workers' horrible attitudes. There are other options nearby.
The prices keep going up every month. Used to be like $7.50 for an entrée now it’s almost 11. Much better in health theater bring your own food out these days.
Very fast ,polite and friendly
Horrible customer service

Authentic Thai food direct from Bangkok. I like Curry chicken, fried rice and steamed vegetables. It is real yummy with flavor. Sometimes the spice sachet explodes in the curry and ruins it.
They got me the wrong order. I asked them to change it for my correct order and I had to pay an extra $1. It's was they fault. :((( This sucks.
Food is really good! Service is always fast.
This is NOT Thai food, it’s mainly American Chinese food. Just because they serve “pad Thai” doesn’t make it Thai. None of the dishes feature Thai staples, like galangal, lemon grass, the famous Thai heat, coconut curries, prik nam pla, nothing here reminds you of Thai food, and I’d hate for a customer finding this restaurant in Google Maps and drive all the way to find out it is not Thai. It just isn’t.
Maybe ppl don't know suki Han and ruby is the exact same food just under didn't name 🤣🤣. But the fish n spicy shrimp is good.
Overpriced and food not that tasty
The service is poor and the people making your platter are very rude. I stayed away for a while due to the same reason. I thought I’d give it a chance, maybe it got better but no luck. A platter with noodles and string beans is the same as if it were noodles , meat and vegetables. Well lesson learned and officially done.
I had a spring roll from this place, and it just wasn’t great at all. You’d be better off ordering from your local Chinese joint. As far as service…just terrible. They were writing orders on takeout containers and rushing people. Finally, one of the female employees said something rude or slick about my dad in her native language and looked directly at my dad which caused a fellow male employee to snicker….When my dad asked what was said…the male employee was deflective and said “She was talking about someone else.” So yea, mediocre food and poor service. Don’t patronize this business. Or bring a translator app if you do….
It’s Chinese mall food not Thai food though they have a sort of pad Thai. But if you go into it knowing that, it’s not bad.
dog ..... tofu pad thai no egg medium spicy with a side of vegetables and a large coke go do it now
being fr though this is my favorite spot and it has been for years, i used to get it all the time on my break when i worked in the mall, and i still stop by to get it because the food always tastes perfect, the employees are so sweet, and will recognize you if you go there a few times 🥺 of course i go more than i probably should so they make it before i even get to the counter hdhdhdhd they're so sweet
best spot in the mall! haters idk what you're talking about service is a 10, food is a 10, and they have hella options, vegan options included ! <3
Ordered Pad Thai chicken yesterday. Told the lady cooking the food that I’m allergic to shrimp. When I got home to eat my food, I realized that it had shrimp in it. Since I took a few bits I had to rush to take a Benadryl. Took the food back the next day to inform them. The guy taking orders said it was nothing that he could do. I asked to speak to a manager. He then spoke to the lady cooking the food. She spoke in her language with a tone of annoyance. The guy translated saying that I need to bring the food back. When I gave it to her, she looked at the label then asked if I ordered chicken pad Thai spicy. She was very nasty and never apologized for causing an allergic reaction which could have been deadly.
I live 1 hour and 30 minutes from this restaurant and the food is delicious. I would love to know what the sauce is made of for the dumplings...
I love this place I always get the same thing the skinny noodles, fish, spicy shrimp, plantain.
I wish you guys would get sturdy packaging where my shrimp gravy is not spilling all in the bag and all over the other food.
Food is tasty, but the customer service is very bad. They are very dis respectful to the customers.
I love to get the bang bang chicken!
It's really not tasty, it's just a waste of food.
I enjoy eating the food at Ruby’s and the service is great from most employees. However the two new young girls that were recently hired are very incompetent and unprofessional. One would not take my order because she was on her phone while I was trying to get her attention. Then when I did she rushed me and spoke in a very disrespectful tone. The other who works the cashier got my order wrong and charged me for the wrong item also…
Good dishes and nice manager. I had the Pad Thai mild, but didn't realize that the mild Pad Thai here still has red chili in it. Therefore, I asked them to remake, but the sauce they use has the chili anyway. Just know the mild still has a bit of heat, but my sensitive stomach can't handle even that much right now.
I chalked it up to a learning experience, but the manager was nice enough to have someone come out into the food court to give me a milder meal with lo mein, chicken and veggies. Very grateful for the good service. Thanks, Ruby Thai.
I live their skinny noodles. The spicy shrimp and the blackened fish are my faves. One downfall I'd that when they are busy they rush you through the line.
Really good food but the customer service is horrible also they made my sister super sick idk what they put in it but it made my sister really sick she won’t stop throwing up, her tongue got all black really disgusting I don’t know what was in it but horrible food quality.
Do they have another location?went to the mall and they are no longer there
As an Asian person coming to US, I can tell u that their pad Thai is really good and authentic
DO NOT order for this place through Doordash they will refuse to fulfill your order.
Food is really good.
But customer service is the worst.
Love it
Food isn’t good. Rude staff. Just go to Suki hana.
My food was sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes as people stood by my food. Thai kitchen does not take precautions as Covid 19 is at a high rate. To top it off , I gave the young lady a chance to give me fresh food and she ignored her manager request to do so. Got my money back and it was meant to be as Thai kitchen does not take Covid distancing seriously and needs to be shut down by the health department ASAP..
Food is really good.
But customer service is the worst is ever I experienced.
We explained it to her what we ordering but I guess she didn’t understand and she kind of ignore us and start talking to her coworkers and their language and making fun of me and my girlfriend.
She doesn’t deserve to be in the front line and taking orders because she has no customer service skills.
it's good 👍
I have always bought food from this place but today I am very disappointed . (They have recently opened back up due to COVID-19 . ) We purchased 2 platters to eat for dinner , since they close at 7pm due to all the restrictions . When I got home I served it in a plate , I finished mine but my husband noticed that there was a cockroach on his food /plate . We have absolutely no cockroaches were we live so I know that this it from the restaurant . I will definitely be going tomorrow morning to give a complain because this is disgusting .!
Nice, clean price ok and very delicious food
AMAZING RESTAURANT! When I come to the mall, I always get Ruby Thai food. I love their Sesame Chicken and Noodles. Their fried rice is also good. Yum! It's like a Thai mixed with American style type of food.
Good food
Wonderful place for fresh, delicious Asian food.
After reading all the negative reviews it made me realize the world is full of entitled, ignorant fools.
What a bunch of whining babies. This place is great and have been eating there almost every Sunday for 10 years. The complainers need to seek a life.
Please beware! We found about 5 bugs mixed in our food. They were small flies. They gave us our money back, but they thought it was funny that my boyfriend ate one. It isn’t funny and a health hazard. We’re letting mall management know.
Good food
Great food and fast service! Food is always fresh. For those who have trouble speaking to the servers it's best to tell the girl who hands out the containers what you want so she can write it on your container so you get exactly what you want.
This place was amazing it's clean and the food is they make you feel at homethe people are polite and they're fast with the service
Yes. We are very disappointed. I guess the fault lies on us. We didn’t watch out box go through the line. It was our fault for trusting they knew how to do their jobs. What a jokeeee :/
I order chicken and eggplant Togo. I got home and I had a box full of rice and egg plant. Where’s my chicken at?
Experienced the worst customer service in years. Server repeatedly told order and chose to do as he pleased. When I expressed dissatisfaction, he tossed my order in the trash and proceeded to ignore me! This isn’t the way to treat formerly loyal customers. Take your business elsewhere! I will be doing just that!
Best spicy chicken I've ever had.
Fried fish, Fried shrimp, blackened chicken a must try over here
Great food
The food is delicious...however you have no need to be rushed and treated rudely by the staff. Practice customer service!!!
I have come to this place couple of times and enjoyed their food until today. I was here around 3pm and the staff member who was serving the "sample chicken tray" for bypassers to try was extremely rude with me. I ordered my lunch with her and when I was about to checkout, realized she had messed up my order. Instead of being apologetic, she was disrespectful and blamed me for not explaining properly. I ordered lo mein with double meat (I picked two different varieties of chicken) and an egg roll on side. That's it, nothing rocket science in that. She made that as two separate meals. When I complained, she started arguing me with in front of her other staff members and customers. Really bad service!!
Very good
My food was completely cold and they refused to give me a new plate. Tried to rush me away because I was “holding up their line” because I took my food back to them.
Been a customer for many years and it’s pathetic that I was treated this way.
Yum
I love the bang bang chicken! It's the best!
Grilled chicken noodles soup outstanding
Quick and reasonably priced. Food tasted pretty good, too.
Honestly one of the best options in the food court. Food is always fresh, with some items cooked to order. Their seafood noodle soup is surprisingly good! Also nearly impossible to resist the bang bang chicken...
Last couple years ago past the container was way bigger than now and i always get less bang bang chicken than before. And now prices are more expensive af please make changes on container so it will be more worth it to buy.
Their food was so delicious....
Very good choices the food was hot and spicy the shrimp egg rolls are the the best nice a d large I recommend you go there hungry.
The food at Ruby Thai Kitchen is delicious and packed with flavor! It's very clean and you get to watch them prepare your dish. When I arrive the line usually long, whether it's afternoon or evening/week day or weekend. The great part is that the line moves very quickly! The food is so great I'll wait in this long line again and again!
Oh my gosh! The best PodThai ever!
My girlfriend and I decided to try the fried rice of all 3 Asian restaurants. We liked Ruby Thais and Master wok fried rice the most. MW had a smokier rice and I can't really decribe Ruby Thais but it was very nice. Suki Hanas fried rice was bland but not terrible.
We also had the Spicy shrimp with veggies and added eggplant from Ruby Thai as well as Chicken with green beans from Suki Hana.
The flavor and quality of product was superior in all aspects at Ruby Thais. The Spicy sauce made the rice taste even better once we mixed it in. Their eggplant was super delicious and well cooked as well.
I know this sounds pretty bad for Suki Hana but keep in mind we only had one of their entrees and it wasn't a bad experience, we just felt like Ruby Thai had freshness and flavor. I might update this review if we go back and have an entree from Master wok.
Bad and poor service..i ordered fish on my rice and they didnt put it on ...the girl who gave me the food was on her phone all the time is was standin there ..POOR SERVICES
From the singing chef to the good food, this place was an unexpected friendly and tasty surprise at a mall food court.
I.have. no. Idea what. Means bang bang chicken so. I. Don't. Know. What. The. F*** is. That.
