Thai, Chinese and Japanese Cuisine in Granby, Connecticut.
I love the food here. Prices are decent as well. Always get crispy shrimp or orange shrimp. We like the sushi, too.
This is far from the best Chinese restaurant I've been to, but it was good enough. I felt the prices were a dollar or two more than the quality would have dictated, but it was overall not a bad meal.
They are located in a shopping plaza in the bustling center of Granby, and as it's the only Chinese restaurant in town, there's very little direct competition.
I found the Sesame Pork to be tasty but chewy, and the chicken in the Tar Kar soup was of a low quality. Although, the soup itself was better than fine.
Despite some misgivings and a little trepidation, I will probably go back here at some point. This might not be the best Asian restaurant in Granby, but it is good enough.
Quite frankly, I never expect great things from this town, but this place clearly meets the local standards.
Amazing food, best egg rolls I've ever had. Very good family size portions
I am hearing lots of stories of how this place has lost it's touch for many reasons, but from my experience I thought it was still same as before... (Aka nothing wrong and all good stuff) Maybe I am just lucky? Otherthan that food is good, resturant is nice inside, like I said many times I never had a problem with this place...
Went here with a really close friend of mind because it was close to her house. Both of us never even heard of it. As soon as we got there a storm hit and they lost power. Even though there wasnt power the staff was super nice and we decided to stay. We ended up getting sushi and had a great time. I would highly recommend, if it's this great, imagine when they have power;)

We had only done takeout from here but decided to have dinner there. Good idea! Great service, atmosphere and food.
Terrific eatery.
Sushi was not fresh and the beef entree had a weird taste. If your food is not fresh DONT'T serve it to your customers. I've seen other reviews complaining about the freshness of your food also.
Great food, best Asian food in Avon/ Simsbury/ Farmington area. Must try for everyone.
Food was bad. They should be reported to the Health Department.
There are other Chinese restaurants 10 minutes away that don't give out bad food and have better prices.
Are here for the first time. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!
Had the same issue here. Food smelled spoiled. Didn't know this until I got back home and didn't want to go back. Ended up throwing it out. Business won't respond back when they know about the issue.
Ate outside. Excellent pu pu platter and sushi rolls.
Consistently good. Delicious Asian food options.
I ordered Drunken noodles and asked for spicy and spring rolls which were ok the Drunken noodles had no flavor way to many peppers not enough Thai basil and my stomach isn’t feeling too good I won’t eat there again
We came back up for the holiday to visit to family (originally from up here but moved out of state). The food was amazing (we got the Pu Pu for 2 and the volcano roll and dynamite roll as well as miso), the service was great. Prices was great. Definitely will come again next time we come back up this way.
Love their chicken pad Thai!!!!! Comfort food!
It was a great experience dining with Jennifer! She was very honest and informative. The food and drinks were 10/10. Absolutely recommend!
As of late every time we go here it's a disappointment and the food is not cheap. The waiter is dismissive when you tell them you have a gluten allergy and then they bring out your food and there are sauces you know you can't eat on the plate. This place used to be consistently good and it's sad they just don't seem to care.

Excellent!!
Absolutely outstanding experience at Han Asian Cuisine, with their Thai Basil Rice stealing the show! The moment I took my first bite, I was transported to flavor paradise. The Thai Basil Rice was a symphony of aromatic herbs, perfectly cooked rice, and just the right balance of spices. Each bite was a delight, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. My wife had the garlic broccoli and loved the texture and taste.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience truly memorable. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, enhancing our overall enjoyment.
I cannot recommend Han Asian Cuisine enough. Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering authentic, mouthwatering flavors is unmatched. If you're looking for a dining experience that delights your taste buds and leaves you wanting more, this is the place to be. Five stars for the food, service, and overall atmosphere!
If your checking reviews - Look no further…
This place is FANTASTIC. The food is DELICIOUS
3rd time eating here in 1 week.
Bento Box - General Tso 🔥
House Fried rice + Beef 🔥
All 💯
Go at least once a week.
Fantastic people.
Wouldn’t recommend coming here. The waitress took forever to check in and see if we needed anything after giving us our drinks and appetizer. I also witnessed her writing down my order correctly and then when she handed everything out, I only got the fried rice and not the boneless spareribs. I find it hard to believe she “forgot” and assumed I just got plain rice for dinner. Very disappointed at the taste and quality as well, rice wasn’t that flavorful.
Not too shabby beef noodle soup. Tasty broth. Interesting deep fried beef. Noodles were slightly over cooked, though. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the neighborhood.
Sent a detailed email to James about my takeout experience last Friday .. no response.
My first time dining here today. It's Sunday and they have a lunch menu with lower prices!! For sushi and sashimi? I had to give them a try! Their reviews were incouraging so here's the verdict!! Winner, winner chicken dinner!!! Are you kidding me? I have been eating sushi and sashimi for over 50 years. I LOVE IT!!! Almost can't get enough of it!! The prices were below any nearby places! The sashimi was buttery and fresh, fresh, fresh!!! Nice presentation! I also had a salmon hand roll. Stuffed full!! Service was polite and friendly! I don't take my revues lightly...when I tell you this is truly a fabulous place...get over there before others find this spot! The miso soup that came with the lunch was great! And, I had warm saki!! Fabulous as well. I even got a hug on the way out! My new go to addiction!!!

After a hike closeby we decided to dine in at Han Cuisine. The host was not the friendliest and she looked like she did not want to be there. The gentlemen our waiter was not attentive at all. He was definitely more attentive to the other tables he was taking care of. So if you're Hispanic, maybe think twice before dining here. We were treated like like we couldnt afford to dine there. But, the food was fresh and delicious.
This place has really gone downhill. Waited over an hour for takeout. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, the staff was aggressive and rude.
Just went here recently and got the spicy basil rice and let me say the food was ok... 30min later my stomach starts hurting and for the next 8-12 hours I had to go to the bathroom multiple times and was in pain (food poisoning?) and seeing others say quality has decline has definitely made me believe that whatever they did to the rice definitely got to me...
My husband and I have been 4 times now and have ordered a different dish each time. Everything we have ever gotten has been fresh and filled with flavor. Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Service is always wonderful, too! 10/10
Waitress was very polite. Place was super clean and food was amazing.
The service is very slow, the food is very average, not worth the price, I even want to leave this place.
Just to let you know that this restaurant is getting WORSE in every aspect, from service, to the food!
When it comes to orders waiting time over hour and a half, lines of people waiting on the front door piled up like sardines in a can, and food this is the picture of a chicken Lo mein that I just order, what a poor plate, no vegetables what so ever!
We did order before and it was much better, now it's what you see.
Call restaurant and the manager was kind of rude, giving excuses, didn't like his attitude at all.
Me and my family order before and they use to be served better food.
We are very disappointed
Ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken fingers. They were exactly the same: dry and tasteless. My one star is for the fried pork gyoza. Waste of money.
Delicious. Intimate. Flavorful. Variety. Friendly. Take out, too!
The food is great but every time I get takeout it’s never ready at the time they tell me and I wait 20+ minutes for it in the restaurant
Awsome food.great sushi bar
Han has been a go-to for years, with reliably tasty food made from fresh ingredients and well cooked. Last night we ordered Drunken Noodles and the dish was almost inedible. Large hard chunks of uncooked noodles stuck together, hardly any veggies, not much flavor either. Totally unappetizing and we ended up throwing it out. The egg rolls were blah and an appetizer of ginger-chicken dumplings were raw in the middle. It's going to be a long time before we try Han's again.
They got good Chinese food try there drunken noodles 🤌
Friendly staff & clean environment. Food was well presented and delicious.
You will pay for dining in. The food is good though. Warning: The mochi has a very thick rice cover
Place is normally good ,but on Sunday evening ,egg rolls were greasy and cold ..asked for extra ginger with my sushi the mango was melted and soggy never got the extra ginger ,, the lo mein was plan when I asked for vegetable lo mein!!
Professional service, exceptional sushi
Favorite restaurant of all time
Great food! Best Asian food I've had in a long time. Everything is made from scratch :)
Probably the best drunken noodles I've had definitely will be back to try the sushi and very friendly staff
I don't know if their chef was in a bad mood. My pad Thai was orangish thick noodles with neither sauce nor spice. Just bland. Fried rice was sour as lemon seeds got crushed.i should remember to ask them what their specialty is, before placing an order.
I use to come here a lot when I used to live in CT! I revisited after a good 9 years and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the pork lo mein since I wasn't really that hungry. It was absolutely delicious the way I remembered it from way back when! Next time I visit ct again I will definitely be stopping on by again! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good Chinese food and haven't stumbled upon it yet.
Server was off, back of the house was fine. Got accused of ordering something I didn't order. Pork dumpling 🚫 vegetable dumpling.
The food could be outstanding but if the front of the house is grumpy, isn't listening or doesn't care, no one's going to come.
Will I be back? Nyet.
My family and I were so disappointed with the food at Han Asian Cuisine. Initially we were excite to taste the various menu options but after ordering the (general toss chicken, boneless ribs, crispy chicken, shrimp fried rice and lobster roll sushi) we were so discussed! The food had absolutely NO flavor plus the crispy chicken seemed old and very dry. After paying $100+ on Asian food we were expecting much better flavor and quality. This was honestly the “WORST” Chinese/Asian food we’ve ever tasted! Thumb down to Han Asian Cuisine …
Disgusting
Ordered lo mein for my mother and wife for early mothers day meal. Shrimp Lo mein wasn't cooked and tasted doughy. Couldn't even eat it and threw it out. They used to have good food but now its disgusting.sushi was just ok. Will not be ordering from them anymore. Waste of 100$ Would not recommend.
Consistently Very good quality american-asian food. Limited sushi selection but what they have is always good. Price is not the cheapest but for the extra $2 the food is worth it!
Overpriced just like his other restaurants food was not to my liking.
Just not fabulous for the money
SO GOOD
Very clean and very friendly staff.food is very good 👍
This is our go to for Chinese and Sushi! We love it! It’s consistent! Which is awesome when you have a little one that likes particular dishes but only when cooked the same way every time!
Very good good and service!

I have been going to Han for the better of 3-4 years for take out. has always been pretty good. no complaints. I placed an order last Friday night for teriyaki scallops (22.00) bit into them; smelled like ammonia and tasted even worse. called the restaurant to them know that the scallops are bad and to not serve them to anyone else and asked to be compensated. The young man on the phone was advised by a women in the background that she will give me a credit next time I call in. I said im not sure when that will be and would like to be refunded at this time. it never happened. I have lived in Granby for many years and believe in serving small business/ restaurant's. This is very disappointing and not sure that we will be back
Amazing food
Acogedor, excelente cocina, precios buenos
Great food, good selection of vegan options, though not labeled as vegan. Service a little slow.
*Vegetable dumplings - delicious, I could even taste fermented bean curd
*Vegetable sushi roll - good, even had delicious picked burdock root in it
*Teriyaki tofu with veggies - decent
*Bean curd house style - very tasty
*green curry - great, coulda used a bit more salt or something?
Would be great to see more vegan options on the menu in the future, clearly labeled!
Delicious!!
Service at Han is always excellent, and their food is top quality - fresh and perfectly seasoned. We wish we lived closer!! The restaurant is nicely decorated and modern, and also has outdoor seating.
I would say out of the hundreds of times I've eaten here, my happiness level is 80%. That's pretty good for any restaurant.
Prices are high and food is okay. Employees are very nice though.
Great
Possibly the best general tso's chicken I've ever had.
One of the best Asian restaurants. I recommend it.
BEST Asian food in N. CT or S. Mass... we have been several times, everything on the menu is spectacular.
Went with 2 others. Food was excellent, and staff very friendly. We ordered a bunch of apps, and they came out one player after anoth. We were never kept waiting. We had couple of drinks which wee awesome. Great time. Highly recommended.
What a hidden gem...drinks are on par with any restaurant in the state. Trust me I’ve tried them all.
Sushi is good. General Tso's is nasty as hell.
This restaurant had a fire with their food truck which was close to their building when it caught fire. So the restaurant is operating out of their other restaurant (Verdi) in the plaza temporarily. The service is always great and the food looks, tastes, and is delicious. Fairly priced. Menu is smaller presently because of then working remotely in their other restaurant. Still a great place to eat! The rolls are amazing! The sweet and sour chicken looks beautiful and my kids love that particular dish.
We love Han...they're slightly pricier than other Asian takeout but it's because their ingredients are so high quality. Good meat, very fresh veggies, nothing oily or sugary here. Very nice staff and they accommodate dietary restrictions without fuss. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff great food and service
Was initially a little disappointed because they gave us the wrong order, only to call and have them deliver a replacement for free. I am extremely happy with this business
Was very surprised. I usually love this place but the pork was low quality with lots of fat, the chicken tasted old and the broccoli was yellow.
What’s going on? Our takeout meals were sad indeed.
The food is delicious and the portions are good size. The service is friendly and ajways correct. I order from here often. They will bring the food to your car.
Normally the food is worth the wait but last night after waiting 2 hours in the parking lot for my dinner I gave up. I had a very small order which should not have taken over 3 hours to not prepare from the time the order was placed until I told them to just cancel it because I couldn't wait any longer. It was a terrible experience spending 2 hours waiting outside in the cold for dinner. They should have stopped taking orders and provided much more accurate pickup times. As I'm waiting I saw many orders come back because they were wrong so I guess cancelling was my best option. Don't recommend on a busy night, they can't seem to keep up.
Best selection of traditional Asian-american dishes, sushi / sashimi, and asian cuisine in northern CT and Western MA!
Great scorpion bowls! And the freshest ingredients!
Had a wonderful time with friends, food was great until...I had an order of General Tsos chicken to go to bring home to someone. It was the worse chicken he had ever had, anywhere. Small pieces of tough chicken very hard to chew inside the dense coating breading. Threw it away after trying it. I had been warned by my friend not go get it but how bad could it have been??? Very bad indeed.
Food was decent, not great but way too expensive!!
I've been to much better asain restaurants for much less cash.
I mean common $7.50 to for a tiny spring roll!!
I would not go there again.
Excellent And helpful staff.....very comfortable and excellent food
Good food. But a 35 minute wait turns into an hour for takeout. Plus very small sauce sizes. Not enough for the food order
One of the best!!
Our visit was pretty disappointing. We ordered the Tar kar soup it was very bland, basically coconut milk with uncooked mushrooms. My husband had it with chicken that was cut in large pieces difficult to eat. I had it with shrimp.. still laking any flavor, where was the lemongrass, galangel, heat? I have never heard of Tar Kar.. and was expecting something simular to Tom kah.
The steamed pork dumplings came to the table with a piece of lettuce as garnish and were not hot through. Flavor again, was flat. It was as if they were put in a microwave, not freshly steamed. We ordered a specialty roll that was okay but had no wow factor. We were not provided with small plates to share our roll nor offered any soy sauce. Waters were never refilled. It seemed they do a busy take out business. I guess I was hoping for more of what the photos on website touted.
I love this place! They now got outside tables set up. I recommend my usual favorite Kani Salad, and an Angry Dragon Roll. Their Hot and Sour Soup is pretty good too.
Can’t figure out what they are doing. 45 minutes is what it said and then had to wait while our other food from another establishment got cold for another 30 minutes outside their restaurant for them to bring our food out. Will never order from them again!
fantastic fried rice and chicken dishes (we tried orange chicken and sesame chicken). white meat is good quality. we also had the drunken noodles with shrimp; very good as well. i’m not a huge fan of their sushi but my family like it. for apps, crab rangoons were good (comes with 6 small ones, sweet filling), but wouldn’t recommend the ginger chicken potsticker.
Terrible experiences with missing food and long waits. The last straw was waiting an hour—in my car after the pickup time give—for food they kept telling me was coming. I gave up nearly two hours after ordering. And no, I never got my order.
Han is a black eye on the otherwise excellent Zen restaurant group.
One star is too many. Terrible, terrible service. No food they could serve would be worth enduring this.
Currently still waiting outside in the rain waiting for a 3 item order they said would be ready 45 minutes ago.
I’m sorry to say the food was just really bad. This was our first time eating Hans food. The Asian Family Meal ( for $50 ) looked like a good deal and we added on beef teriyaki for take out. I arrived on time for pick up but the food was barely warm. Overall the food was flavorless and basically tasted like leftover Chinese food that was reheated. The Crab Rangoon just tasted like cream cheese, the egg rolls tasted like grease doughy egg roll skins, and the texture of the meat in the Sweet and Sour Chicken and General Tso Chicken was dry and stringy. My husband said the beef teriyaki was ok but the rest of the meal was really horrible. A big disappointment and waste of money. We won’t be going back again!
Highly recommend! Amazing food and service. Have been back multiple times!
Best lo mien I ever had :)
Уютное место. Без изысков, но еда отменная. И да, содержательно блюда большие, вы не уйдете отсюда голодным. Если вам нужно быстро и качественно перекусить здоровой едой - смело переступайте порог. Цены умеренные.
Edamame is flames
Awesome Chinese food great egg rolls
Being retired now, I eat out at a lot of restaurants, and can safely say that I've eaten at every notable Chinese restaurant within a 100 mile radius of my home over the past two years. Without question, the meal I just had at Han Asian Cuisine is the best I've ever had! I chose the Kung Pao Chicken with brown rice, and it was perfect and delicious. Portion size: generous; vegetables: crisp and beautifully cut; chicken: lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. Presentation: a work of art, with an orchid as garnish. Service: prompt, courteous, friendly. Price: beyond reasonable, I would have paid twice as much for this level of quality. Menu: extensive and it includes sushi and Thai options. Ambience: clean, classy and modern. Clientele: diverse, young and old, kids welcome. We will be back!
Excellent food with an attentive and friendly staff!
They have graet sushi!
Good food, great service. Love this place.
I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday, Saturday, January 25th. I asked the waiter if I could have sweet and sour pork. He--and the restaurant's manager--said this wouldn't be possible, since sweet and sour pork wasn't on the menu. So I unhappily settled for sweet and sour chicken. I guess I'm dating myself (I'm 58), but I've usually found that most good, customer-oriented restaurant's will cook whatever a customer wants. After all, a good chef knows how to cook almost anything. And how difficult is it to batter pork? If a chef can batter chicken, he should be able to batter pork. The point of any business--after making a profit, of course--is to cause patrons to want to come back (which helps with the aforementioned profit). Why would I want to come back to an Asian restaurant that can't/won't make one of my favorite dishes?
Great spot to meet friends. Prosecco was chilled to the point and served in grand style. Food great, nice portion size.
Way too expensive. Food average. Won't return.
Was at the airport and going to drive through Granby. Without a menu, called Han and ordered take-out. Just ordered General Tso's, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. Figured a safe dinner for one from a Chinese place on my route.
They said they don't have combinations and rice would be extra. I said fine, make it small. they said they had one size. My error was not asking for the cost at this point.
$26.
$26 for General Tso's, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. Wow.
And, the food was average. I go through Granby once a week. Won't be stopping at Han.
Very nice
Food was delicious, once we got it. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food after we ordered our meals, even though there were plenty of empty seats in the restaurant. The restaurant had no issues with getting take out out the door, though as we repeatedly watched order after order go out. The food was good, but the service was appalling.
Good food .. Good service .. Good job!!!
Excellent food, good staff
Delish Chinese food 😋!
Good food friendly service. My go to place for Asian food.
Friendly service and great food! Love the Singapore noodles.
Fresh sushi and yummy dishes
Best sushi place in the area. Would highly recommend the love boat for 2
Fantastic service and food! We will absolutely be back.
Everything was great. We tried sushi and a Thai curry dish and they did both exceptionally well. The drinks are strong and tasty. Service was great too. Zero complaints.
Outstanding
Never had a bad meal here. I like to call ahead when I'll be driving through Granby and pick up lunch.
Great sushi and great service
Consistently great food!
fantastic food!
My chicken fried rice was lukewarm with cold chicken.
My sesame chicken was less than warm and the broccoli was frozen. I complained in nice way..but they didn't take one thing off my check.
The other individuals plates were good.
This was my first complaint here, but i won't be coming back.
Food was good and came lighting fast, but had to remind waitresses about the drinks after food was brought. Also while ordering the waitresses continued to try to up-sell our order. It became obnoxious after the third try. Overall a decent place.
