I didn't feel like driving any place so I ordered doordash. To my surprise doordash was able to deliver to me so I ordered several different items. Delivery was fantastic with doordash. The food was very fresh I will say that I love Thai food and slightly underwhelming is what I would say. You know 7 1/2 out of 10. To me everything was fresh nothing wrong with that everything was crisp everything was definitely as if it was made to order and prep to order I just think from a personal taste there's no ginger in anything I ordered.. typically Ginger is used in Thai food all the time lemongrass things like that and it wasn't in anything I ordered.. I think it could be kicked up to an eight and a half with just some extra care when it comes to adding some other seasoning like fresh ginger or lemongrass or other things that are traditional with Thai food.. I spend with delivery like 75 bucks I gave $10 tip so same as if I was at the restaurant. I'm definitely stuffed but again nothing that you would say wow this is the best I've ever had. I know that nk the owners have of a grocery store next door that they import in all kinds of Asian traditions so I would expect nothing but the best food being used I just think that it could be seasoned a little better
And then I would be ranting and raving about it. For the area it's the best Asian restaurant around. For the best Thai food you ever had you will not remember at 6 months from now. Hopefully the owners read this take it as constructive criticism. And they kick it up a notch if you will and add other seasonings.. even if it adds a little more to the price I would gladly pay.
I love nk. They have amazing food and such a wide variety, even the presentation of the food is more than you get at most restaurants around here. They are reasonably priced, and you get a good portion. Not to mention their staff is amazing and so so kind if you have any questions or anything you want different about their meal they will do their best to accommodate you. They also have times where they are super quite and not busy so its a great restaurant for someone who doesn't like loud places. Me and my boyfriend always pick here for a date night and always will i love them!
Great service, generous portions, great food. My spicy pineapple chicken entree was a bit mild but I respect that they err on the side of caution and the waitress brought me a cup of chili oil to add on which was appreciated.
Freshness of food - scratch cooking. It has the flavor profiles you want. Moreish and filling.
Attention to customer service - have a chat, they'll make you feel at home (I learned about numeric palindromes)
Allergies - take it so seriously they will clean and dedicate a separate area and prep everything anew. The competition, Jade Garden, doesn't (experience with poisoning my celiac wife, and not caring).
Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended if you want some tasty, quick to pick-up cuisine.
I got take out from here: pineapple fried rice. The pineapple had zero taste and was mushy. The rice was dry and also flavorless. I had to add a ton of sauces to make it edible. Only decent thing in this dish was the chicken. Hoping they figure this out before serving it to others.
My friend and I parked near this place last night on our way to New York Pizza when we saw that in the old Steve Bousquet's building there was an Asian Market and next to it was a Thai Restaurant. We both love Thai food so we thought we would give it a shot. The staff was very friendly and the place was nice and clean. Their food was reasonably priced and came out pretty quick with a lot on the plate. The food was fresh and done right for sure! Im so happy this place is in Danielson now. Please give them your business so they stay around for a long time.
I am Thais. I very like food from here.
Made like original. Yummy

Service was very slow. Prices are expensive for what you get. The food was very bland and all tasted the same very disappointing. They also forgot part of my order. I will never go back.

Tofu drunken noodles were SO GOOD. I wish I'd ordered a few other things to try because I think that was the best tofu I've ever eaten.
Awesome place, always go there when I’m in the area ! Definitely go if you haven’t had Laotian food yet !

The experience was great! The waitress was very helpful explaining everything as we had never been there before. I thought that the food was awesome.
Update...ordered at 5:15..for at 6:00 pickup...sat til.6:36!!
Recently visited your restaurant, and I want to express my gratitude for a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Thank you for an amazing experience—I will definitely be back!
I went to this place and it was a mistake!!!! No good flavor on the food and be careful everyone because they charge extra, I put a quantity for tip and they choose whatever they want … never in my life, I’m really mad!
If you want to get sick order from this place. I ordered food from them and when I went to go eat the food it was slimy and looked slippery. Then when I smelled the food it was spoiled. Please if you don’t want to get sick DO NOT EAT HERE
NK Restaurant takes your taste buds through the bustling streets of Bangkok and Vientiane for a culinary tour of Thai/Lao cuisine. I’ll preface my review my mentioning that I lived in Thailand for nine years and DH lived there for twenty-two years. We ate Thai food every day of our lives while there.
First up, the Tom Yum soup. Sweet chili baby, this dish was like a spicy, sour and savory foodgasm in a bowl. I used to eat Tom Yum Goong every day after school in Bangkok. I’d walk to a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant across from Sukhumvit Soi 33 to fill up my three-decker soup container. I love that they added a smidge of (?) coconut milk to the dish to add another taste dimension.
Next, we had the Lao Larb Gai and NK Special with chicken. Both were deliciously spicy and like a culinary mic drop. After tasting both we wanted to high-five the chef and all the other diners.
The traditional Lao artwork on the walls is made by a member of the owner’s family and they were really beautiful. We could tell they were scenes of Laos but they closely resembled the old Thailand we knew in our youth so that was nice. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient.
The cherry on top was meeting the owner. He shared part of his life story with us – how he came to the states as a refugee. His journey is truly inspiring and added a heartfelt touch to our dining experience. It’s clear that NK Restaurant is not just a business for him; it’s a labor of love and a testament to his resilience and passion. We chit chatted a bit in Thai for practice although he speaks perfect English.
If you get a chance, check out the fantastic mural on the side of the building honoring the Lao people. t’s a vibrant tribute that beautifully captures the spirit and culture of the Lao community. It made me appreciate the meal even more, knowing the rich heritage behind it. If you’ve never read about Laos history you might find it very enlightening.
Great food and service, went here for lunch and the waitress was attentive. Food came out great, and a very good variety. Portions were very good as well, plenty to take home. All together a great experience, wish we had checked this place out sooner!
If you want to be a little weak uncultured sissy that has no tolerance for taste, depth of flavor, and level of spice, then scoot your pittle snowflake cheeks down the road and choose somewhere with less class. This is legit all American Thai Food! And if you wanna fight about it come knocking cause I guarantee you can’t throw a punch with their five star hot sgit in your wuss mouth.
Great food and vibe, with a lovely staff
Stopped here on a whim. Our server was so friendly and gave me recommendations. Food was fresh and delicious. We loved the fresh spring roll and steamed dumlings. Will definitely be back
I love coming here for my lunch break! Service is great and quick. They have the best fresh spring rolls and curry!
I love the tea
Food here is always great!
Food was so good had to buy seconds, they were really nice, I 🩷 the atmosphere it's so nice yet homey in a way.

10/10 would highly recommend!! its a must visit!
I recently tried this restaurant and fell in love!! I am a really picky eater and found choices that were delicious. I highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!
Food from this restaurant is authentic, well made, and excellent. Sad to see people clearly posting false/inaccurate reviews, trying to tear down genuine hard working and honest people. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Lao/Thai food. One of the best in the area.
The atmosphere is nice, the service is perfect and the food is incredible! I would definitely suggest this place for people who want to try a new place they haven't gone to before! :)
I ate here with my grandpa and it was easily one of the best places around here. Food was fast and the service was great. They really do their best making it feel like a genuine/authentic family environment.
Best Lao and Thai food in the area, would recommend.
Amazing place loved the food I will definitely be there again
Probably one of the most hardworking people I know with the most authentic food in the area. I recommend the Lad Na, Pad See Ew or Phi. It’s truly a shame to see the community actively targeting hard working mom and pop small owned businesses, the only few around Killingly. Keep up the good work NK
Recently had NK takeout my daughter’s graduation party, incredible. Everything was perfect and to order and received rave reviews from everyone in attendance.
Not sure why there’s clearly fake one star reviews. Food was fresh and authentic. Definitely worth the time and money.
This food is amazing and authentic. The spring rolls are great and the pad Thai is amazing. Seems like there was an influx of negative reviews all around the same time, very bizarre. I would take those with a grain of salt. Try for yourself, some of the best Asian food in the area.
I went here last week and this place is the best!! Had the spicy drunken noodles and spring rolls and they were so good. The lady working there is so sweet and would 1000% go again! Have to give it a try!
Such an amazing restaurant with even better service. All the staff treats you like family and ive tried everything on the menu its all spectacular and authentic. Thank god I dont live closer because I would actually go everyday and gain 50 pounds.
Will never return here after they failed at making my friends and family feel accommodated to. They provide bad communication and do not resolve customer issues efficiently or effectively. They do not take ownership of customer problems. Some man there specifically stated that he does not care about a bad rating and to go ahead and do it. Very upsetting. Highly disappointed and I will never send anyone to eat here
Had a horrible experience with take out, ordered seafood that was either old or undercooked and got very sick. Called the place to inform them, and got nothing but rudeness from the boss saying “ what would you like me to do, I’m no doctor”. Very ignorant and careless, definitely will not go back and definitely suggest no one to get seafood when eating here if they choose to, you will end up severely sick
Most authentic, best and freshest Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. Couldn't be more impressed. My experience was 10/10 thank you. Update, ordered take out about 5 times now. Been very happy with their consistent quality and flavor. I enjoy it so much every time Thanks again! :)
NK Restaurant was delightful. For small-town, Southeast Asian cuisine, it's as close to perfect as it gets. Traditional artwork, good food and a communal atmosphere make this a top choice for food in the Killingly area.
Su, Sydney and Liliah (I may be remembering her name wrong) were very helpful and friendly. They made solid recommendations and guided my appetizer and entre choice. They clearly care about the restaurant and their guests.
For an appetizer, i ordered the Fried Chicken Wings. The wings were flavorful, crispy and came in a generous portion size.
My entre was the Spicy Drunken Noodles. The noodles were cooked well and it was tasty without being overpowering.
I will definitely be returning to try out some new dishes!

We love Thai food and were excited to try a new place. I am not picky and open to new experiences. But this was horrible. We tried boba and it was awful. The boba were overcooked and falling apart. Our meals were horrible, the TV was blaring. Had to chase someone down to box our food, thinking we would just finish at home. I HATE wasting food, especially with the inflated costs now. But we threw it all out because it was just awful. I'm sorry because we are such huge fans of the market next door. But the food we got from the restaurant did not taste like anything fresh we make at home when we buy ingredients from the market. So disappointed.
The best fresh spring rolls and crab Rangoon!
Scrumptious Lunch
First time getting food here, definitely will be back. Got spicy drunken noodles with shrimp, came out quickly. Good portion, very tasty with chunks of fresh veggies and about 6 shrimp.
Food is awful. No kind of taste to their food. And on top of that I had hair in my food, bad customer service. They don't even credit you, no refund if finding something in your food. I don't recommend this restaurant. Not worth the money. Pretty expensive. 19.27 I came out of that restaurant spending 45 dollars ONLY on two orders. You do not get your money worth. Poor customer service. The restaurant itself is the only thing that has good taste but don't be fooled by the atmosphere. It is not worth your time or money.
Excellent food. Very fresh, high quality ingredients and delicious flavors. Our first time trying, looking forward to dining in next time after seeing the dine in section . The employee that took my order was extremely friendly and polite.
I orderedthe Thai Cashew and it looked nothing like the picture. It was mostly peppers and onions in broth. There were some cashews in it but not a lot. Although the drunken noodles were good. I'll try it again but I won't order thai cashew again. It was the worst
Amazing food! The curry was so fresh and delicious I was blown away. I highly recommend NK!
Normally we like Asian food but this was not as expected
We ordered takeout and it wasn’t good.
Maybe they had an off night
It was alll cold and kinda sticky we had drunken noodles and they were pulverized.veggies were all a dull color and the chicken was dry as a bone ..we ordered egg rolls but got spring rolls (need to pay attention phone person)
Unfortunately it was too expensive …so we cant give a second chance ..sorry nk
The owner came out and talked with me. He was very nice. Dish was very tasty.
I came here with my boyfriend so we were able to sample A LOT of food. Here’s my break down. I got the Thai iced tea and he got the Thai coffee, both with tapioca pearls. The Thai iced tea was phenomenal, the coffee wasn’t the best. My biggest complaint was the tapioca pearls. I think they were boiled for too long? They were just too squishy and didn’t taste right. Moving on to the food. We started with the fried spring rolls, which were hands down our favorite item on the menu. They were so delicious. Next we each got soup, I got the Tom yum soup with tofu and he got the wonton soup. Both were the lunch portions and they were HUGE!! Both were very flavorful. Next, he got the pad Thai with chicken and I got the pad see ew with tofu. Both were really good, but I do feel like the pad see ew could have used more sauce because it didn’t have as much flavor as I’m used to. Overall we really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be coming back!
The mango sticky rice dessert is divine 😁. We always love the tom yum soup. I got the side of garlic noodles for the first time, as well as the fried spring rolls, and they were great! We look forward to trying more dishes.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. Exceeded all expectations! Even the table next to us couldn't believe how good everything was (they admitted they had never tried Thai before) and I have gone to every Thai place within a 40 mile radius. This is a gem, and I can only hope they stay open for a very long time.

We have had nothing but great food in this place so far. My wife loves the Pho they make.
I fell in love with this place when I walked in. Pleasant aroma and friendly staff. Fresh ingredients in curry and delicious spice.
Delicious pad thai with pork, great service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
I came here tonight with my family and we were really impressed with everything we got! I had the ginger fried rice with chicken and it was delicious, high quality, and you got a ton! The fried spring rolls and the crab Rangoon was really good too! My fiancé got the Thai cashew which he really liked too. Everyone in our family got something different and we thought it was all really good. The service was also really good and they were very friendly! I would highly recommend checking this place out and trying something new because it all seems so good here!
Got crab Rangoon and shrimp fresh spring rolls for lunch. Fantastic, probably the best in the area.
Ordered takeout twice, first time it was great, second time it was dreadful. Going to give it a few months and see if it improves.
Where do I start, ordered appetizers, crab rangoons and shrimp spring rolls both were fresh and amazing. For an entree I ordered the drunken noodles, perfect balance of flavor absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the pad Thai she liked it very much. We took most of our entrees home they were giant portions. Also took home an order of mango sticky rice dessert, another winner. Will definitely be going back!!
Very good!
This was so good I literally would have to die and come back to life to experience something better than this food.
the food here is so good i started crying when i took my first bite at home. 11/10. i recommend the crab rangoons or the chicken satay
Incredible!! Really great Thai food and a super friendly experience :] I highly suggest coming here!
Absolutely delicious! Everything I’ve tried so far has surpassed my expectations. Staff is incredibly kind and patient and overall great place!
Went for lunch and had a great meal! The food was hot and came out pretty quickly. Servers were attentive and I enjoyed my experience overall. If you go, try their crab rangoons, 10/10!
We're so happy to have this wonderful restaurant so close. As well as the Asian market next store
Excellent waitress, food and desserts.
