They close at 745p and I arrived 30 min early but they were already closing up. Would recommend this place for lunch and maybe a very early dinner (or just take out)

My friend and I both ordered the fried egg rolls with chicken and they were delicious. I had the pho with rare beef. It came with all the usual fixings. Unfortunately, we both felt that the broth was a little off. I finally figured out that. I think they had put too much garlic. It was an odd taste. I can’t say the broth was very, strong either. It was unfortunate since the place looks so promising. I will try again because maybe it was just off day.

We left Connecticut. On our last day there, we ate here; we always love coming to this place to eat pho.

The Pho itself was kinda on the salty side which was a letdown but the flavors were a knockout and the rare beef? Actually tender & rare thin slices of good quality beef!! Score!

The garlic stir fry again was a bit on the salty side but the flavors here were aces!! Thin sliced tender pieces of ginger that didn't overwhelm the palate. Then you finish it off w some of the crispitty crunchiest chicken ya ever bit into and you have yourself a little happy dance 🕺

They put out some legit eats here and it's worth a stop...if your sensitive to salt ask for it to be toned down. Outside of that enjoy the transport to a Vietnamese paradise.

The food very good, and the location clean. Nice place to enjoy some Asian food.

As a CT native, I have tried many pho places and this is one of the best. The pho broth is delicious!!! Maria is an amazing server/manager. We were greeted with a welcoming smile from one of the cooks. My first time I ordered takeout, but I’m very excited to go back and dine in! The place is very clean and super cute! I love that they have different options for broth so that all people can enjoy pho :)

I went to Pho Bar for a quick snack while out riding. As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a smile and prompt service. The place is very clean and smelled amazing. I ordered the l coconut boba drink and chicken egg rolls. The drink was very refreshing. The egg rolls were so good.

Food is great and Bebe takes long to come out. It’s small but comfortable . Looks family owned and it’s family friendly.

I had the bowl.of vegrable soup in beef broth. I was surprized on my first bite, the broth has so much flavor ! It's not your typical broth. The bowl was crazy huge ! To me, i compare it to a medium mixing bowl. I could not finish it all. At about 3/4 of it. (Sadly I didn't take a picture)
The place is mostly used as a take out, but seating is nice as well. The place clean. Their food taste clean.(of that makes sense to anyone) Even the restrooms are clean. Music is not over powering.

Delicious broth!

Tried Pho Bar for the first time. Never had had pho or pad thai. The employee was very nice and recommended appetizers that were popular. I got the pad thai and chicken egg rolls, both were awesome though the 3* chicken is a bit too spicy for me.

Definitely going to try pho next time I go here.

Best pho and basil fried rice I've had!

I have been here many times and every single time it has been amazing. the atmosphere is just great, and it has to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I usually get beef fried rice along with spring rolls on the side it is always perfect. For drinks I would highly recommend Thai iced tea.

Maria, the girl working here is beyond kind, walking me through the whole thing (I clearly did not know how to order Pho), even bringing me more broth to water down my Pho when I messed it up by making it unbearably spicy.

We are very particular about our Beef Pho and we have to say we were pleasantly surprised. A great place for lunch/dinner. Very clean, friendly staff (Maria was very helpful). The Beef Pho we ordered was equivalent to the Pho we get from the place we frequent for traditional pho. We actually like The Pho Bar's Lao's take on pho with their crispy garlic on top a bit more. Definitely will return here.

My second time was just as good as the first. I like when food and service are consistent. It’s so good! I love the spice levels. I went for 3 and it was good or should I say hot!!!! We ordered pad Thai, stir fry and basil chicken for entrees and for appetizers steamed dumplings and fried chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. Yum 😋

We had the Pho chicken broth with rice noodles and the steak 😋 👌 perfect the flavor is amazing you don't have to add anything else. The Rangoon were freshly fried and delicious. The shrimp pho wraps are a must. That sauce for them OMG.

Literally just walked in after driving by and watched the cook lick the ladle and then put it back. I confronted the lady at the register and she said the cook was making food for herself. This is completely unacceptable and should NOT be allowed in any form.

I finally had a chance to get to The Pho Bar for lunch. Wish I had made it in sooner, this was some of the best Pho I have ever had, really appreciated the extra jalapenos and chili oil at the table. I went with the thin rice noodles, beef broth and brisket, it was superb, came with sprouts, basil and lime on the side, spiced it up with a bit of chili oil and jalapenos and I drained the bowl. Good value for the money as well.

Inside was really nice, cute layout. Food was delicious. Unfortunately it was kind of ruined by the double long table filled with high school kids with bottles of alcohol on the table cackling loud and obnoxiously. The two workers couldn’t seem to be professional and not touch each other.
Pretty disappointed because it’s a nice spot and the owner seems to work hard but unfortunately it ruined the nice vibe

Usually we get pho and grill in Cromwell, for takeout, they cook the brisket but not the noodles and we cook everything at home. Their broth is amazing, sadly they are closed tuesdays.

The pho bar cooked everything, ( we also did takeout here), and the noodles were so stuck together you couldn’t enjoy it. Also, all the brisket was fat and they only gave about 4 pieces. No jalapeños included.
The broth is super salty with a strange meat flavor that I never taste in pho and grills broth. They use some kind of seasoning in with the meat. I like plain broth not salty, maybe to each their own. However, I Wouldn’t go back to this bar.

Was Mission focused on picking up some pho and was prepared to go all the way to the Hartford area. Checked Google Maps found this place and decided to take a chance.

Walked in and went straight to the register and talked to the lady. Explained to her it was my first time here she pointed out the menu. (Perhaps She could have done a better job of explaining the menu layout and their favorites and specials, but she was fine and I can try other dishes next time)

Ordered the beef broth, rice noodles, vegetables. It was prepared right away and I took off. Warmed it up and had it for lunch and it was really good.

Ordered from the section called Phoresh (not sure what it means) The menu was not as straightforward as would’ve expected but the lady in the front was able to explain it to me. And I knew exactly what I wanted so it worked out fine for me.

If you’re looking for Vietnamese cuisine in the area this is a good option for you.

The food was good.. but- Asked the waitress what kind of tea they had on their menu and she rolled her eyes at me. Then asked the waitress if the meal I was getting was spicy, said no, and couldn’t even eat it. One of the spiciest things on the menu it seemed..It gets better!! then.. the waitress didn’t ask or come over and ask how everything was, and her shift was over and just left!!!! Unreal experience. Good food but not sure we will be back due to this experience and lack of communication and lack of manners on their part.

This was my first experience ordering and eating Pho Soup. A bit of sticker shock when i got the bill, $26.84 for a single person but I realized when I got it home, there was more then enough for two people. I did take out but for this dish I would highly suggest you dine in. Food was good and the Boba Tea was very refreshing. In addition, I had the Spring Rolls. Seems like they are trying to hide their pricing. TV that I assume has menu was off and no signs at all telling you the menu. The actual menus were a bit confusing but the employee did help.

Absolutely delicious Pho! Probably my most favorite so far in the Northeast. There aren't many tables here and I had to wait about 30minutes for seating, but it was well worth the wait. You can always tell a place is high quality when they have a small menu, everything tasted high quality. Server was extremely kind and answered all questions! Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend the mango coconut rice for dessert it was soooooo good!

Currently have been waiting for my food for an hour and a half. No apologies, reassurance or anything from staff. Just “15-20” minutes and they’ve told me that 3-4 times already. If I hadn’t paid already I would have left. Customer services goes a long way. It seems like they missed the mark terribly in that field. No matter how busy you are you should at least have good customer services especially if this is how long your customers have to wait. Super disappointed I really don’t like spending money with unprofessional establishments.

I was on the turnpike and stopped in to grab some quick lunch before heading home. The guy at the counter was pretty helpful and did a great job explaining the menu. I got the beef stir fry noodles. It was great, everything expect the green beans that could’ve been cooked a little longer (not a deal breaker). I definitely plan on stopping in again soon.

I was craving some pho and it was a new spot opened so I had to try it
I made my own pho with beef broth and three different meets. Brisket, raw beef, and meatballs with rice noodles.
I loved the meatballs the most with the beef broth. So flavorful especially with the toppings so good.

They have a variety of teas if your a tea drinker. I tried the butterfly tea with lychee gummies and it was amazing and a must try.

Place is super clean and the staff are very friendly. I got the chicken pho with chicken broth. It was delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the chopsticks smelled really weird like some sort of chemical or something. I'd certainly return though! Pho was awesome.

New and clean! Not many seating areas, and it was fully packed when I visited on Sunday lunch (but didn’t have to wait). Liked open kitchen concept and individually packed vegetables and sauces for pho.

This place has amazing pho! This is the 2nd place in CT that I know of that has choice for clear noodles 😀. The menu is not what I am used to from other pho places. Here you get to pick... broth type, meat type, and noodles type. The service was nice and friendly, I would definitely be coming back.

I ordered pho with rare beef to go. I appreciated that the broth was not boiling hot when I picked it up. At other restaurants, they package boiling broth in plastic containers, and by the time you get home, the plastic starts to melt 🥴 This place does it right!

Prices are great, and they do not skimp! My pho came with a heaping serving of fresh, rare beef, and lots of basil, onions, and other condiments. The noodles were so, so fresh.

I had a great experience at The Pho bar. The location is convenient and the inside of the restaurant is such a vibe. I got steamed dumplings with their homemade sauce and it was so so good!!! Then I got beef Pho with shrimp and yet again, it was amazing.. so good!! I also got their new drink, Cherry Blossom which was the perfect combination of sweet and refreshing!! Will be going back and recommend to everyone!

Quick and friendly service. The build your own Pho menu makes it easy to change up the order depending on your mood. The Thai iced coffee and Thai iced tea are spot on (and sweet, just FYI if you’ve never tried them before).

I love a traditional bowl of pho, so I was a bit skeptical with the menu style. But this was great pho! Broth was very flavorful, well garnished, perfect portions and servers were very nice.

Little place to get Pho 'ed UP!!! Discovered this place due to a Boba tea yelp elite event. So I came for the boba and left with a full belly. I just love how they have the place decorated and it looks so fresh and clean. The menu was so simple and easy to order off of I ended up doing the rare steak Pho Bowl. Along with Matcha boba tea! I also asked for extra extra cilantro and happily got some! The tea was tasty with just the right amount of boba as well. If I'm ever in this area I would definitely stop in again.

Came here to grab a quick boba tea on my way home and chose the strawberry boba. The bobas were good, but I felt the strawberry flavor was very artificial. It wasn’t bad, but I would have preferred the real thing. The inside is gorgeous and exceptionally clean, and the smell of the food in there was intoxicating. I would definitely like to come back and have a meal here some time!

Found this place by Berlin Tpke and took a chance.. My husband and I love Vietnamese food and this place did not disappoint us!
The menu was not that big but easy to understand.
Had a delicious plate of vietnamese fried rice (not greasy) and when I saw that sausage, that makes it authentic and me..
happy! My husband had a bowl of Pho with the vegetable toppings served individually wrapped.

The quality was outstanding. Phoresh (fresh) spring rolls were full of shrimp and contained a crunchy noodle inside that was unique to the hundreds of fresh rolls we’ve sampled over the years. My wife got the Tom Yum soup and I got the drunken noodles. Those are our benchmarks when we try a new place and both received 5 stars in our opinion. Just the right amount of seasoning and heat cooked perfectly. Worth seeking out and supporting a local business.

Fresh and local...what else could you ask for. I got the fried noodle bowl, with chicken egg rolls and fried bananas for dessert. Then washed it down with iced coffee which was delicious.

The staff is very polite and the food is excellent!
If I could eat there everyday, I would!

I had a beef broth-based pho bowl with brisket. Noodles were perfectly steamed and the broth was pleasantly flavorful. The service was prompt and friendly. Worth the visit.

Its been 35 years since the one and only "Vietnam Restaurant" came to Greater Hartford. Now you can get Pho' from dozens of establishments in all corners of the region.
The most recent slice of Vietnamese fare is an establishment called "The Pho' Bar" in Berlin, just south of the Newington line.
I walked into a squeaky clean dining area and was greeted by a waitress and a simple one page menu. The staff was bustling behind an open counter, and it smelled new but authentic in there.
I sat down to a fresh shrimp/veg roll which was thicker than most, and took a huge bite of the contents. It was soft and crunchy all at once. The peanut sauce on the side was a bit spicy but very flavorful and chalked with crushed peanuts.
A large bowl of Beef Pho' came soon after with rare beef and brisket. The noodles were steamed to perfection, and the meat was tender and thin. The absolute best part about this dish was the broth. Dark and wholesome, with a buoyancy from the beads of light fat circling at the top. This broth made the whole meal.
After decades of visiting new Vietnamese hot spots, I now know I'll keep coming back to the Pho Bar every time I roll down the Berlin Tpk in Berlin.

Everything here is fresh and super tasty, also very trendy place with great staff. Great drinks and service, food comes out fast! Fairly priced food - not sure about the comment of 12$ being expensive here, have you seen other pho places? Anyways, a must try place!

Overpriced! $12 for a bowl of soup?! LOL.
