Winner of Best Thai Food E. Boulder county since 2014
One of the best Thai restaurants in Boulder where you get to taste delicious thai delicacies served by super friendly people. Indoor sitting setup is simpler yet beautiful. They also offer a variety of customized vegetarian and vegan options. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai cuisines.
The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch.
I am not surprised to hear that Busaba Thai restaurant has won a couple of rewards, as their food and service truly stand out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Thai food.
Pretty quick service for a group of 14.
Basil fried rice and hooky noodles are the best. For spice level, hot was definitely hot for us. Unless you prefer extremely spicy food, you should not go higher than hot
Vegetable potsticker is the only appetiser I wouldn’t recommend. Everything else is good.
I would love to visit again!
I ordered takeout last night and did not regret it one bit! Really enjoyed the Bangkok street fried rice and the strawberry cheesecake was so delicious! I’m sure other items are good and I look forward to trying more of them in the future! Definitely some of the best fried rice I’ve had in the city of Boulder!
I read the reviews and decided on the curry, amazing!!! I got there about 45 minutes before closing and did not feel rushed. Very vice people, I had a younger server who was just a sweet college age kid. I would definitely eat here again! Price was reasonable too, for Boulder!
Cannot decide which was more flavorful: the white rice or the dishes. Take out at Busaba Pearl St. a few weeks ago was very good. We planned to be near Busaba Baseline yesterday and ordered online for 4:30 PM, surely it would be ready? It was not. Another 5-10 minutes, we were asked? No we were not able, so out came the food and it was the worst: tasteless, greasy, bland, flavorless (get the idea?) and inedible. ZERO stars. Do NOT recommend.
A good buddy of mine claimed that Busaba Thai was the best in the City.
I ordered the crab Rangoons and the Bankok Street Rice with chicken and pork, 'cuz Im a little moo moo.
I had a draft Singha while I waited...(I like beer)
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Wait was about 15 minutes, but then they had only been open for about an hour.
Rangoons are home made and delicious. No lie. I couldn't eaten a dozen.
Street rice was decent. Hot af.
Good portion size for the price..
I'll be back.
The best Thai food I’ve eaten in Colorado, hands down. My favorite place to grab food in Boulder.

Good location, would recommend them to use oil conservatively.

Delicious food! Green curry is amazing! Excellent Thai food!
Excellent Thai food, very similar to our favorite Thai place back home in NY! Our server, Janelle, was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed her positive attitude and her pride in representing the establishment. I had the Hooky noodles with chicken, a warmly flavorful yellow curry with satisfyingly delicious wide noodles and thinly sliced carrots, peppers, onions, and snow pea pods. This is a comfort food that I would be happy to enjoy in my favorite poofy chair with my feet tucked under me and a fluffy blanket while I listen to some good old 70’s soft rock. My husband had the Panang curry with chicken, which he ordered with a medium heat level. He would have licked the bowl if we weren’t polite. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Boulder!
10/10 the pad thai is so good i don’t ever want to get anything else it’s my fav. the service and the bartenders are always really good!
Delicious food and wonderful service!
The food is great here but today it seems like they are understaffed. I had my order pick up scheduled for 11:30am and now it's 17 minutes past that. They can definitely use more staff.
The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch.

I had high hopes, but it seems the golden age of Busaba has passed. The Crab Rangoons were great, but the "basil" fried rice was “basil” in the way a La Croix pretends to be flavored like the fruit on the can. Finally, I never thought there'd be a pad Thai I wouldn't finish, but it was just sour—pure lime, with no authentic Thai flavor.
No response we are customer we stay there until 15 mint but nobody come there then we back🤬🤬
Busaba is the best! Easily the tastiest Thai in Boulder. I saw that they are temporarily closed due to a gas leak until next week - if you’re wondering why you cannot call or order online, that is why. I’d suggest the business update their hours and website to reflect this. Highly recommend the chicken pad see ewe!
Unfortunately, I asked for the vegetables to be cooked “soft” due to dental issue but that didn’t happen. The waiter suggested a side of broccoli to mix in…he said he asked the cook to cook the veggies soft…it was asking too much for customer satisfaction and service…I factored in they were moderately busy and time was not a consideration. In fact, they were very fast but my request was apparently ignored.
Very quick service, food is amazing and the portions are a great size. All around amazing experience.
delicious !!
excellent service and super quick!
Best drunken noodles in town!
I first reviewed this place about three years ago and it was quite negative. This time I am giving five stars for the food. The green curry with chicken was stunning - heavy on the galangal, not too much curry paste - delicious! The pad see ewe was also very nice, good texture of the noodles and fine balance of flavors. Food was ready for pickup in like 15 minutes. Portions were pretty large - this $15 green curry will feed 4-5 people as one of a few shared dishes (though you will need to order more rice to make it go that far). Well done Busaba Thai!

Loved the green curry. I ordered it without any protein which meant just vegetables and they added such a generous amount of vegetables to it which made it so tasty and filling. Most restaurants usually won't supplement with a good portion of vegetables when ordered without any protein. Highly recommend the green curry. Rice was a little bit dry and could have been done better though. Also they offer the pumpkin curry which I had on my first visit which was fantastic too.
Sweet-savoury flavour, sprinkle of peanuts and tang from lime. Busaba is a best thai food for a reason. #padthai
Amazing food !! The dishes are very authentic and perfectly cooked I ordered take out from here and my girlfriend and I loved it !
I stopped into this quaint spot to try it out and was pleasantly surprised! The service was speedy and friendly. My server helped me get the perfect spice level to my Drunken Noodles and recommended the crab Rangoon which was delightful! I will definitely be back and highly recommend you try this place!
I'm a huge fan of the Busaba in Louisville so I was super excited to hear of the Boulder location opening up. A small spot compared to the other 2 locations and very quite. I recommend for tvs to be on or some music to be played in the background. Like the Erie location, the menu was a bit limited and didn't exactly mirror everything that is being offered in Louisville and the service wasn't as great either.
If I had to rate all locations the Louisville would be on top, followed by Erie, and last in line would be the Boulder location. Don't take my word for it though and try it yourself!
Really good food. Made fresh and hot. Service is fast and very friendly. I highly recommend.
Busaba is one of my favorite restaurants. The quality dropped briefly but seems to be back to being very high quality again!
Great drunken noodles and pad thai. Good spice levels.
It was my first eating here, and it is by far, the best Thai food around. The pumpkin curry was outstanding, lots of fresh vegetables, a very addicting taste. Mei lee was my server, and she was very sweet and professional. Drinks were never empty, dirty plates cleared in an instant, very good service. Music was at a perfect volume and it is very clean. I highly recommend this restaurant
I was a regular here but I won't return here.
This is the first time I ate here during peak hours. I ordered pork drunken noodles, along with everyone else in the group. As usual nothing else was said and we received our food. While eating I started to feel sick, which was weird, then I realized that the food tasted mildly of shrimp. As a person who is allergic to shrimp, this was very upsetting. If they are sharing cooking equipment with shrimp, they should at least mention it or ask about possible allergies. I talked to the front desk, and he was saying if you wanted shrimp, you need to order it. And multiple times I told him that is not it. If I did not order shrimp I would expect it not to be there due to my food allergies.
Sharing cooking equipment during peak hours, I understand. But not mentioning it, and refusing to acknowledge it, I am terribly disappointed. Will not recommend for health reasons.
They have great music that’s not too loud, and very nice fried tofu and curry. Def. recommend!
Asked me about three times if I was ready to pay, even before I’d finished eating. Incredibly rude. To top it off, I paid, went to use the restroom and when I came back all my food was gone. I was going to ask for a box. It’s like they wanted to kick me out of there. Never had a restaurant experience like this before
Great Thai flavors
I got the panang pineapple curry with beef for lunch, damn it was good! Will definitely be back.
A good buddy of mine claimed that Busaba Thai was the best in the City.

Best Thai food in Boulder by far!
Busaba Thai has wonderful food and a nice atmosphere. They offer reservations, which is what we did, and I'm glad because they were busy on the night that we went. I think they were a little understaffed because the service was pretty slow. There appeared to be only two waiters for ~30 people. The atmosphere would benefit heavily from some background music but wasn't unpleasant. Overall a very nice meal for a good price.
The service is amazing. I go all the time and the staff are so friendly. Love to challenge myself with extra spicy Pad Thai. Warning! Medium is more than enough for the average person.
The place is nothing much to look at and they always seem short staffed (and always different) but it is the best Thai in Boulder. Just happy I don't have to drive to the original Busaba for good Thai.
One of the best thai place i`ve been to.
had high hope based on words of mouth but it was maybe just a bit above mediocre, taste wise. be careful with the spicy level, one below the most was 🔥 🔥 for me and i can handle spicy food in general. service was good and friendly even though there was a huge group there when we visited.
The food is really good but the service is terrible. When I was collecting take out I noticed that the appetizer was missing. The employee who handed over my confirmed that's everything without even checking it and returned to eating his chicken tenders... I was lucky there was a more motivated other person who brought missing item.
I do not understand why you want to keep people who do not care about your customers.
Ordered take out and tipped on my order. Yet they wouldn’t provide utensils, upon asking, she was trying to give me only one fork while I have two people’s order. They don’t have chopsticks in the entire Asian restaurant when asked. When asked chili oil as condiment, she was trying to charge two dollars for one small little bit of chili oil. Unbelievably unwelcoming and what a rip off!
This is not how you run a business
Best Thai in Colorado
Nice staff, Kaeden is very friendly. Good view of the mountain horizon at sunset. Perfect food!
so good so yummy + that guy kaeden is nice
First time for Thai food! Loved it!
The food here is great! Super tasty.
Wonderfully consistent restaurant that produces excellent soups, fried rice, noodles and curries. Would recommend highly if you are looking for good Thai food in Boulder.
Double Check your delivery location! My take out order went to the Louisville accidentally instead of the Boulder store. They told me to drive to Louisville. By the time I arrived my noodles were no longer hot. I feel like they could have done something for me, but they offered nothing. Medium spice was also extra mild which was not my experience from the past, so inconsistent food.
I would love to visit again!
hidden gem in my neighborhood - love the vegan curries ❤️
Vegan options available.
I tried this place as my first time at Boulder, CO. When compared to other Thai places I have been to in other states , this place is average.
Great food and friendly environment
Best Thai in Boulder!!! We had awesome masamam curry and pad see ew. Service was very fast and we will definately be back. Sadly no leftovers are left it was THAT good!
One of the better tasting Thai around. Pretty simple menu, but everything we've tried so far tasted authentic & flavorful: the fried tofu is tender, so are the meats in the noodle/fried rice dishes. The vegetables are evenly chopped.
It's unfortunately not in a hippie location, so I really hope they survive/thrive.
It’s a great Thai restaurant in Boulder.
Amazing drunken noodle, best in the area.
The food had an amazing flavor. Must try the pad thai and crab rangoons. That was a unique flavor!! The only 2 things I did not like: 1. Understaff. We went on a Saturday evening they only had 2 waitresses and the place was pack. 2. Also their dirty dishes were all pilled and when our water was served, the glass was dirty. I am glad I noticed and mentioned it to the server. The prices were also reasonable.
Busaba is the best Thai in Boulder imo. Great appetizers, the noodle dishes are awesome, and the Bangkok Street fried rice is amazing. We will continue to go back.
I don't know if it's the employees or management, but this location does not even come close to the Louisville location in terms of quality and taste.
I ordered from here shortly after they opened and received a poorly seasoned, soggy mess of noodles. Ordering again roughly a year later and things have improved somehwat, but the food is still an order of magnitude below the Louisville location. If you want some marginally average Thai food, then this is the place - but you should really drive the extra 10-15 minutes to the Busaba in Louisville.
Best Thai food in town! Favorite place to eat in Boulder, highly recommend.
Absolutely one of the best Thai Ive had. Being able to chose the heat of the green curry made it a 10/10. The Rotti was also delicious. The egg rice was also very popular with our family.
Great vegetarian options, and easy to order without fish sauce. My favorite Thai place in the area!
I ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu, mild. It was very oily, and the oil tasted burned. I ordered it mild, because I like to add my own spice. I didn’t get that opportunity because it was already too spicy. I would say it was in the “medium” hotness range. All in all, it tasted like hot burned oil on wide noodles with good tofu. If the tofu hadn’t been cooked correctly, I would have given it one star. I wish I hadn’t tipped the cashier… Actually, I wish I didn’t have to tip any cashiers. I put up with it most of the time but when I get a bad meal, it makes me resent the whole situation.
Just got back from Thailand this summer and have been looking for gods Thai food since. This is the place, delicious food highly recommended.
Amazing Thai food! Service is great and the menu has lots to choose from. They have a great range of spice levels and nothing is lacking flavor. Would definitely recommend!
First time I visited Busaba I was supper exited because of the good reviews I heard. I was not disappointed one bit. This place is truly amazing for a Thai fix. I also want to give compliments to the staff at the register for being not only kind and helpful, but also patient with the customers!!!
Food was amazing, truly changed my life for the better. Customer service exceeded all expectations. Employee named Eden helped me choose what to order and is a great worker
The food was lovely. The service was even better. A nice young gentleman with black hair helped me and he was such a charm didn’t catch his name. 10/10 would recommend
This food is amazing I love this place I’ve been going here since I was young. Something about the pad thai is so delicious. Also the service here is always amazing 10/10
this place gas. Eden is such a talented employee. made my experience great.
This place is great food. Eden is the best employee ever
Love it!
Exceptional experience every time.
Good flavors but they f up our to go order almost every time - be sure to check before leaving. They put onions in our onion allergy soup and have forgotten cashews in our cashew pork! And if you do notice before leaving, they put your RE-fire order (due to their mistake) at the back of the list, so you can wait another full 45 minutes for your food. Good food awful service
Food is great but they are very overwhelmed at this location. Said pickup would be ready at 5:30 but had to wait till 6:00 with 2 very hungry kids.
The food here is amazing! All the dishes that I have tried have been delicious.
Great people great food!
The food is delicious and the spiciness is authentic, however it’s not enough food for the price.
Best Thai I have had in a while! Medium is Pretty spicy but very flavorful!
Waited for over 30 minutes on a small pickup order. Not ever coming back here. Get your stuff together, not one person in the dining room has their food. If you don’t have the availability, don’t take the order or tell me that it will at least take an hour and a half.
Best place to visit👍🏻👍🏻
I was super late to pick up my curry and apps, but it was still warm when I got there to pick it up! The food was actually delicious- crab ragoons are one of my favorite items and I really liked the extra flavor they add to theirs & the sauce. My curry was really flavorful without being too spicy. Definitely will be going back to try more of their menu. I recommend giving them a try!
Ordered from them on their online ordering system just now. Sitting in their parking lot, I selected the Boulder location. Walked in, the order has been placed @ a different location and the girl behind the counter said “oh yeah sometimes the system chooses the closest location for you. Round-trip going to pick up my food within 45 minutes. They did not offer me a replacement meal. I will not be returning.
Super cutie staff, great food, and an overall AMAZING experience. Definitely will be back for more.
Delicious food and amazing service. Easily my favorite restaurant.
This little restaurant was a delightful surprise. Although it looks like a hole in the wall, it has wonderful food and fabulous service. We would especially recommend the Panang Currie! Also, reasonable prices.
We are a big fan of Busaba in Louisville and have been there many times and have found the food outstanding. We were excited to have a Busaba in Boulder, but when we went there we were extremely disappointed. The Pad Thai was bland and the garlic pepper chicken had a horrible flavor as if it were spiced with old garlic salt and not real garlic. It was inedible. The menu was very small and did not have the spring rolls or many of our favorite dishes from the Louisville location. While we were eating a service person sprayed down the table next to us using bleach, causing my husband to start sneezing. I hope Busaba Boulder can get their act together and improve the quality of the food and create a more hospitable indoor dining experience.
I’ve eaten at Busaba a lot and the food at the Boulder location just isn’t as good as the Louisville location. Last night’s dinner was indicative of the inconsistent quality with over cooked noodles and a bland, somewhat unpleasant flavor in the Pad See Ewe. I hope the quality in the Louisville location is still high since it was, in my opinion, the best Thai food outside of Denver.
Wow delicious! Best crab wontons I've ever had. Love the variety of spice levels too. Good mix of dishes on the menu. Will be adding to the rotation of take out
I loved the Louisville Busaba and was excited to try the Boulder restaurant. The food was delicious but the portions were tiny. It is take out only and when I opened the containers at home, they were half full. It was very disappointing.
New Thai joint serving great food. No dine in just yet but worthy carry out
So excited to have the best Thai place around expand to Boulder. More limited menu and seating than the original location, but same great food and service!
So happy to see my favorite Thai restaurant open its doors on Boulder. I’ve been three times since the new location opened and it has been exquisite. Dare I say this location might even be better
Great friendly staff with amazing food!! Owner was super helpful and curry was delicious and good portion sized! Tofu was nice and crispy!
Amazing food, wonderful staff, great service. So glad for the new location. Panang curry, crab rangoon, pad thai, pad see ewe, let’s say everything here taste fantastic.
Overpriced and discrimenation. They messed up my order every single time. Long wait for nothing. Do not eat here if you have food allergies as anything you custom order will come out extra spicy or with items not on the menu. Complained and customer service also is lacking. The people in the kitchen can't read or don't care and the person taking your order won't get it right even when you pay them EXTRA. Not one thing is authentic. From the frozen appetizers to the so called chef. FAKE Food.
Hands down the best Thai food in Colorado. If you you’re a fan of authentic Thai food and haven’t been here, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
Best Thai in the area by far
Delicious food! Amazing place to try for authentic Thai food!
''First try,Would not Eat hear again!
Disappointed; lunch
Super Greeeeesy food.
Stomach pain"
Delicious, authentic food made with love. Absolutely worth a try if you're in the area!
Their food was excellent! Service is great and they have many gluten free options!
Wonderful Thai food, thrilled to now have a location closer to home!
