We came here for the first time to celebrate 2 birthdays and we will be back for sure! Everything was nice. The food came out really quickly, the portions were very good for a family of 6 to share. Try the basil fried rice and all the curry choices are going to be good. The pot stickers were nice too. And my favorite was the Thai Chowmein, the noodles were seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend this place!

Bum rushed on a Saturday night … for good reason. Worth the wait. Flavorful. Attentive customer service. Had the Lakers on that night so didn’t mind the wait even more. We just destroyed the food… so good! Will be back again… maybe earlier in the evening.

I've been to Manaao several times and I can't recommend it enough. The service is A+ as well as the food. I usually get Pad Thai with shrimp and it's a huge plate of reallt tasty food. Go here, I promise you'll love it!

Took my wife on a date night and found this restaurant. We got the yellow curry with shrimp and the pad garlic and everything was incredible. We're definitely coming back!

Good food with excellent salad dressing

Every time I visit West Sacramento, I dine at Manaao. I love the moody atmosphere and the Thai cuisine is to die for. The food is always delicious and the servings are more than enough. I have tried a lot of dishes and there is not one that is not packed with flavor. Everything is mouthwatering ❤️

I would sue Starbucks for taking you business away.

The pla pad cha (basically stir fried fish in a basil/fish sauce/garlicky sauce that is mostly savory but a tad sweet) is SO good. Crab fried rice is also amazing. It is a slightly more expensive but the portion size is huge.

I’d recommend getting extra prik nam pla to put in the fried rice.

Also the spiciness levels for all their dishes medium and higher are actually spicy. Medium is probably similar to Shin ramen in spiciness.

It's a really good place I love to get their Chicken TomYum noodle soup and the yellow curry both definitely favorites for me. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. I'm pretty sure it's family run and they are all really nice. Only thing is it is super pricey now so it's something I usually just get once a month.

Our waitress only spoke to my husband. It was difficult to get her attention. Didn’t look my way unless I leaned over to get her attention. The food was mediocre and more expensive than expected.

Took my family there for lunch because we were very hungry, and my mom is a very ticky person to feed, and she loves a food there. The service was also good. The servers were very attentive and helpful while we were trying to figure out what we were going to order. The mom said she would definitely go back for me.The food was good, maybe I'll go back.

Came here for dinner on a nice cool Monday evening. Food was great. We ordered mild, and it had a bit of heat, but not too much. Perfect for someone like me who likes spice, but can't eat it without sweating up a storm.

The portions were bigger than I expected. There entrees for three people and we maybe finished about half. Pad kaprow was delicious and basily. Pad Thai was good. Yellow curry was flavorful, but we ordered medium, so a bit too spicy for me. Overall, a great dinner!

Manaao is a go to in sac ! They have big portions and easy to share with a friends! Thai tea ia also a much such a big cup! Prices ranges are decent! I would say it’s authentic Thai food but the store is quite quaint and small. Overall good vibes 7.8/10

I love pad Thai, ordered the pad Thai and it was nothing like pad Thai I eat all the time all over the country. Much more of a chicken stock base or something along those lines. Honestly, it was probably the worst pad Thai I have ever had. I didn’t say anything, asked for my check and the server asked if I like my meal. I didn’t say anything about it but when she brought the check back she comped the pad Thai off the bill. The service was exceptional, even before she brought the check. I would definitely give them another shot but I would order something different. Super nice people and a good atmosphere.

Finally a place in sac puts enough shrimp in the fresh rolls! Got delivery and everything was delicious. We may have to go in next time as their mango sticky rice isn’t available for delivery. The fried tofu added to drunken noodles was a bit overcooked/ hard. Still, all the flavors were great and some of the other Thai places we used to love have gone downhill so Manaao is now one of our top choices

Vibes inside the restaurant were immaculate for a lunch or a dinner. (Chandelier was super pretty!) Portion sizes were big (shared a drunken noodle and a red curry between two with at least half a meal for leftovers). Service was also very good and accommodating to allergies. Highly recommend if you are on the road near Sactown!

From here on now, this the only Thah restaurant I’m going to!! Hands down the best Thai food and the services. Oh I’m literally writing this while eating their food.

the star is only given bc the cashier lady was super nice at first but after wards..cold shoulder. i went in& order only 2 items...fresh rolls& was told theyre super big& cut into halfs. i was the only customer...was told 10 min wait but ended up waited 25 to almost 30 mins. bc i asked how much longer it will take since its been 20 mins& i have ice cream in my car..she said another 5 mins& when i got my order about almost 30 mins in..i got a ugly vibe like she just handed my food without saying anything so i left. i got into my car to check my fresh rolls...they were super small& not worth what i paid for. i wouldnt go there to support small business that is like this.

Usually go during happy hour 6-9 for discount appetizers. Usually do Thai crab and other apps but not all are on special.

My yellow curry was so water down that it was not tasty and salty. Also we order the duck curry which was a bit tastier but same thing it was water down and very salty. Their Thai fried rice was okay because I think it is very to hard to mess up. Overall food and service were no good for the cost.

Our team works nearby, but since they won’t split checks, I’m not recommending this place to my coworkers, especially if we have visitors to the office. If they reinstate check splitting I would raise my rating.

My ex wife is Thai and actually from Thailand and the larb w/Sticky rice was way different and the taste was even off.... chuncks of chicken when the chicken is supposed to be grounded and not to mention I ordered and picked it up in a 10 minute span and so it was supposed to be fresh which means hot and it was actually cold and the sticky rice they give you half portion not full portion as you see in the photo's.... I will not be ordering that anymore.... the spice was good the service was fast and she was polite but not what I expected for $25... for $25 I got two half bags of sticky rice and half larb and halfa som-thom (I probably spelled it wrong) mixed but you know what I'm referring too with the spelling.

Surprisingly nice for a small restaurant off the beaten track. Almost everything we ate was well prepared except for the spring rolls which tasted stale. Loved the plant base for soups. Service was a little slow, could see it was because of staff shortage. Definitely a place worth at least one visit, and more in my case.

Food was delicious. I don't like coconut so I ordered one of the few items on the menu that didn't contain coconut milk. The ribs had great flavor and the service was very good. I will return and eat these again.

Start with dessert 🍨! The blue pea stick rice with mango 🥭. The rice is warm served with a scoop of ice cream and fresh mango- you need to get a little of each to get the full impact. The restraunt itself has a cozy atmosphere. Family friendly. Great service- I had all kinds of questions which our server patiently answered. During the week Mon thru Fri they offer a lunch plate (pick your protein) and early evenings they offer a happy hour. They do have vegan options. They also offer draft and bottled beer, sake, wine and if you are not sure they offer a beer flight. The serving sizes are generous. The vegetables were fresh. Everything was delicious. Dinning area and restrooms were clean and stocked.

Negatives: Significantly overpriced. Quality of meat used (for a pork belly dish) was sub-par at best.

One thing I did not like is the waitress suggested that kids love the crab fried rice and guess what $30 when the bill comes( for kids!!!). She should have mentioned the price also. That is the behavior of cunning people. She might be thinking that is a smart move but now I will not let anyone go there again.. then we were only 3 adults and 3 kids and they took 20%tip. That was cheap!! Did not ask them because the 3rd adult with us was a guest and did not want to make a scene there.
