This Thai food restaurant is a little more upscale than some of the others in the area. I've always enjoyed their food and especially enjoy their lunch specials. I hadn't eaten here in a while and when my group of women friends who get together once a month said that I could pick the restaurant for my birthday, I chose Thai Dawn Bistro. Some people were worried that the food would be too spicy, but I assured them that Thai food does not have to be spicy. As a matter of fact, I think I ordered the Drunken Noodles which was supposed to be spicy, but in my opinion, didn't hit the mark. It was very tasty but I had to amp it up with some additional spices. One of my friends had baked a cake and they couldn't have been more gracious about bringing us some plates, a knife and everything with which to serve the cake. As usual, the service was excellent!
Great Thai food, probably the best in the high desert. If there is a better one, I would love to find it. The flavors are on point and the food comes out pretty fast. We have eaten here many times and it's always good. No complaints about this one. We definitely return for more great food and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Thai food. It's pretty great!
It is a nice Thai restaurant, located in Dunia Plaza, across the street from Victor Valley Mall area. I have been here once, in December of 2022. I visited this restaurant, while taking a vacation at my relatives place. The meal, that I have ordered, was delicious. If remember correctly, it was beef ribs in some sauce. Also, I have ordered soup. Both meals were delicious. In addition, during my visit, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy the meal. Not only there was ample of space, the place itself was neat. At the same time, the prices were not expensive. If I remember, I have spent around $20.00, without inclusion of the tip. Still, I did include a tip. Since, the staff were helpful and attentive. Definitely, if anyone is in High Desert, I would recommend to visit this hidden gem, it is located next door to Tokyo Steak.
The food selection was excellent and everything was very tasty. The Tom Kha had a perfect balance of flavors with just the right amount of spice. Both the Pad See Ew and the drunken noodles were also quite good.
First time eating here, the food was good and the icead teas as well. It wasn't busy when we arrived around 530pm. Great service and food came out quickly. We plan to come back to try more dishes.
Such great food, kind servers and good atmosphere. I love their curry.
Great food service was okay
really good food
Soon as I opened the door, it smells like old rotten seafood. The customer service was bad as the smell of their food. I can't believe they are still opened. They will be reported. My advice to everyone, DON'T GO THERE
Very good food, pad see ew was amazing, wish they had boba for the tea. Other than that I was a good expereince.
Pat thai was like eating candy
Pat see eww beef was bland
And thai tea was basically just codenced sweet milk. Sorry but recipes need more work for this restaurant to be called thai food.
-1. The wait.
-2. Attitude.
-3. The food 🤮

Same as my lovely place that I miss a lot in Cerritos California, the best 🥹 10/10
God's Providence Amen 🙏
PAD Si EEW is delicious. Coconut shrimp and pineapple fried rice were yummy as well.
Great Thai food
Very good food. The prices are reasonable for a dine in restaurant.
Loved it - very friendly & courteous staff. Food was great and full of flavor.
The good was OK, we ordered the crab fried rice.. the amount of crab seemed very skimpy barely any like they just sprinkled it on top of the rice.. service was not very attentive. I visited from out of town.. I am sure there's better Thai food elsewhere !
The food is good it can be a hit or miss. Ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and was very disappointed. First of all the sticky rice is a dyed purple rice, and whats supposed to be a creamy coconut milk topping is this clear liquid that basically tasted like water and sugar. Wont be ordering again.
It was ok. Hubby got crispy fried chicken that was too sweet. My drunken noodles were decent. The killer was $5.25 for one soda.
I thought the food was terrible and not worth the price. My boyfriend didn't mind it. I will not be back.
This is my favorite Thai Restaurant, I must go there twice a month or maybe more. Great service delicious food. Good prices, but one of my favorite things on the muni was the lettuce wraps and they don’t have them any more. So I stopped going.
I have been at this place one time. It was in December of 2022. I came here to eat my dinner on a weekend. Strangely, for a weekend, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. If I remember correctly, it was beef ribs in some sauce. Without beef ribs, I have ordered a soup. Both meals, if my memory serves me well, were delicious. Furthermore, those meals were not on the expensive side. The waitress, too, who served my table, was helpful and attentive. At the same time, the place was tidy. Of course, the establishment could have changed, since I visited it two years ago. Nevertheless, if my memories serves me well, it is a worthy Thai restaurant to visit. Especially since there are few of them in the area.
Always a good time here
My wife and I were having a great time and we decided to go and eat Thai seafood at Thai Dawn Bistro it was a great experience delicious and the staff was very nice and friendly thanks.
The waitresses are not friendly and the food is not good
Excellent food 😋
There is a new name outside but excellent food that is one of our favorite Thai places for takeout or dine in in Victorville.
Hard to find good food out in hesperia. But I recommend this spot most definitely
Delicious food. We ordered pad Thai with beef, pineapple fried rice and tom yum soup. It was all delicious. It was a bit overpriced from what I’m used to be the food quality and quantity was way worth it.
I love Thai food. So unless something major has gone wrong, all Thai food places get good ratings from me. This one is no different. I have been coming here for years, and the food is always good. The service is always quick and attentive, and I'm always happy. Thai food, while delicious, can get expensive quickly. I had pad thai with chicken, a bowl of Tom yum soup, and 2 Thai iced teas (at $6 each) and paid like $46 before tipping. But the food is DELICIOUS!!!!! If I had more disposable eating out money, I would eat here at least once a week and get everything I like, not just the essentials. Pad thai does not come spicy, but I always ask for it to be spicy number 4. Or about no hotter than a jalapeño. It's delicious without spice, but I always prefer that little kick. I'm pretty sure the Tom yum soup is the one with the coconut milk, and it's my go-to. I prefer the creaminess of it to the other soup, but you really can't go wrong with either one. I'm not sure what else to say. Just eat here. The food is great, the restaurant is great, the people are great. I'm hungry now.
The food was delicious and arrived quickly. My server was very kind and attentive. The coconut soup was amazing! Leaving full and happy :)
Always top notch Thai food. Pleasant environment. Even half full people at our table of 12 could hear each other. Tables nicely arranged to give diners room. Staff quickly rearranged tables to accommodate our group. They provided an assortment of chili sauces so we could spice our food to taste. Always a good experience.
Delicious food every thing was great 👍
No follow up for condiments or drunk refills
Update: After Covid-19 lockdown
Still the same delicious food. I ordered the same seafood fried rice, Thai tea with boba, and soup. All came out great and tasty.
I think they changed their menu a little 😊.
But overall, love it here! 😋
First time to eat here at Thai Dawn Bistro.
The spicy seafood fried rice is sooo delicious 😋😋😋...
It's mild (my preference), and a hint of sweetness... and definitely can taste the holy basil which I love.. yummm...
It has, muscles, crab meat, calamari and some bell peppers...
The sticky sweet rice with mango is delicious too, not too sweet just right.
(They don't use the coconut milk as sweetener).
The mangoes are yummy👍😋🤗.
And oh, if you love thai tea w/boba, you will definitely love this place; the jar is huge 👏👏 and the pearls/boba/sago are cooked perfectly 👍👏👏👏...
I will definitely comeback to this place and try some more other dishes.
The spicy seafood that I ordered is their famous or most ordered food.
Love this place.. great food n looks nice n clean inside to eat.
Pad kee mow never disappoints. Make sure to request medium spicy!
Our new place for Thai food 😋
I came here on a Monday night with coworkers.
I ordered the beef noodle soup. It seems that they use pho noodles for this but I would have preferred the wider noodles. The broth lacked some flavor, however my coworkers seemed to really enjoy their stir fried dishes so I would recommend them instead.
When we moved here we used to come often. It's been a while now.. it's changed for the worse. Prices doubled and portions cut in half. Too bad so sad 😔
Food was tasty and came out from the kitchen quickly and was hot. We were not asked about how spicy we would like our dishes, but they weren't too spicy.
It was ok. It was something new. I will be going back because I wanna try all the things on the menu.
See you soon.😋
Food is good
I have been ordering to go but when I go inside it’s nice and dimly lit, relaxing. I have got the pad see ew and it was one of my favorite if not my favorite. Didn’t taste too eggy, the saucy was sweet and umami so perfect. Noodles 🙌🏼🔥 then another day I got the yellow curry with shrimp. And it was amazing, the potatoes were so soft and cut up nicely 😍 and the shrimp was so tender. The white rice was so amazing too. Thank you ! Love this place
Love the pad see ew, it’s great!!
Good food . Good service .
The yellow curry was watery but flavorful. The Basil Chicken fried rice was really greasy but had lots of chicken in it. Mango sticky rice was a great add-on for dessert.

Me and my family have always been regulars. Unfortunately, the worst experience was today as i took the family for Father's day dinner, the employee made sure everyone gets their food except for the Father being celebrated.
When he was asked for certain sauces he claims they dont have any.
If you ask someone else, they'll bring iT immediately.
When the manager asked for him, he walked up to me and rudely said WHAT'S UP MAN??
When confronted why the food wasn't brought and claiming things are out when they are not, the excuse was ridiculous and a lie.
Note: if you or you're employees are not in the mood to work, don't take people's money, try to intimidate them and give them a horrible experience.
If you dont want to work, quit you job and stay at home.
But if you choose to be be disrespectful to me, my family and try to intimidate me, you will be treated with the same respect.
Quit or work as ur supposed to.
We work hard for our money i suggest you start doing the same.
Food was more bland than expected, and the spice tray was just soy sauce, dry chili and chili oil, no pickled peppers. Our waiter was too involved in his cell phone. Exposed cleaning supplies reduced tge decor level. The name changed over a year ago, but not on Google nor on the receipt!
I ordered take out, just a beef salad, and chicken and rice. They said 15 mins so I went across the street to buy food then came back. A lot of people picked their orders when I arrived and was told a few minutes more. I sat down there and saw 4 people leaving with their orders, another 3 take outs came in and left with their orders, and even dine in customers to get their food. I have to follow up to finally get my order.
Watch out before going to this restaurant because if they pick on you, you will never get your food. Embarrassing service and the food ain't cheap. So disappointing, hope they retrain their staff.
Food is good but I placed my order and waited only to find they misread half of my order and didn't confirm what I was asking for. I don't want to double my wait time on what's any impulsive, and rather expensive, purchase even without my tip.
What I didn't get is what I actually wanted. After a long, stressful day I just feel even more defeated.
The food is not good at all
And the service was not the greatest. There are better places
The food is better and the prices are too.
Great food! There were 6 of us in our party, we each got something different, and all the meals were excellent. Tip: Medium spice is pretty spicy. I can't imagine what the hot is like.
Best Thai in town!
The food is awesome. I'm really glad they are open for take out. Unfortunately they don't have the lunch specials anymore.
Best Thai food in the High Desert.
very clean, nice atmosphere, food good
Thai Dawn Bistro is one of our favorite places to eat in the High Desert. They serve good quality, authentic Thai dishes that do not disappoint. Good portions, lots of flavor and a variety of spicy dishes that are also full of flavor. The Spicy Crispy Chicken is a must.
My First Time Eating Thai Food & I Was Not Let Down! They Are Really Good! & I Definitely Recommend For When Your Trying Out Thai Food For The First Time <3 YUM!!
Good food
Love the yellow curry dishes
My group was 4 adults, 1 kid 8 years old. And a new born 1 month in the stroller. Table for 5. Why the hell is the guy charging me gratuity for 6 guest?? The server was horrible. Then served 4 sodas that tasted bad because the machine wasn't working, and he still charged me for them. Would not remove the drinks from the tab because we drank 1 inch of soda each. The male server was unprofessional and very rude. Will return but only if that guy is fired. Visited Jan 1, 2023 Please fire the male server wearing the face mask. ASAP.
Pad se ew, It was OK, I have had better. I thought it lacked flavor and was dry.
This is a gem! Come by for some very tasty Thai food :)
Prices are kind of higher? 13-18$ a plate for entrees.
But the flavors are quite good!
Very good restaurant
The Pad Si Eew is fantastic both the shrimp and chicken. Chicken was loaded with chicken so I would recommend the combo. Only knock I have is the lack of spice but we should have asked and forgot to I won’t mark them down for that. Plus the kid was happy it wasn’t spicy. Even the drunken noodles were solid but the Pad Si Eew was more down my ally.
I love the food and service
Service was excellent. The food was fresh and authentic.
Food is really good but their service is very poor.
Best Thai in the high Desert!
Friendly staff, very spacious and clean. It's just a bit pricey BUT the food and service are great so it's well worth it.
Ordered the Choo Chee Salmon, Ginger Filet Fish and Tom Yum seafood soup. These tasted very authentic and delicious. We were looking forward to have the Sweet Rice and Mango for dessert but they ran out. Received our dinners within 10-15 minutes. ( only suggestion to the owner would be to upgrade their restaurant menu because it's a bit dinghy).
We'll definitely be returning, highly recommended in the high desert!
Thai food is really good, the place looks clean, and service it's OK. Nothing above and beyond. Don't order the Thai tea or bolba. Not good.
Good food ..nice service
Great thai food. Food is served quickly and taste good
Just horrible. Walked in and was greeted with an awkward semi hostile environment of people just staring at us. The food came within 5 minutes and it was not good. You could tell it was microwaved. I ordered the friend rice with combo meats. It did not look appetizing at all. No color, the meats and chicken were barely there. Ordered crab Rangoon and it was underwhelming. The server literally threw the plate on the table and walked away while we were asking a question. The food looked like it been cooked on asphalt directly.
Will never go back over there again -. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.
The food here is very good! I usually take my guests to this restaurant.
Service was very good
Lunch on a Sunday afternoon.
Most plates average $15, more or less depending on if you add meat and what kind.
We had tomsum, chicken satay and pad kana.
Postives:
-Lots of papaya in the salad. And there were shrimp!
-Portions were good.
-tasted fresh and cooked well
-servers were polite and attentive
- was clean and pleasant inside
Okay... now,
Negatives:
- flavor just wasn't there. The peanut sauce was sweet and bland with a somewhat off-putting texture.
-the kana was bland, no detectable garlic.
-bland salt or bland sweet across the board.
We didn't hate anything. It wasn't awful. But it was pretty disappointing and we won't be returning when there's much tastier places to go.
I think some people will really enjoy this spot, just wasn't for me.
Pad Thai was OK I guess. And if you're ordering to go, ask for eating utensils. TRUST they definitely won't give you any! Not even 1 napkin.
The food was good, between three meals and three peoples rating we go really give it a 3.8. Things I didn’t like: we could not select spice level; all the food comes mild. The Thai tea was slightly bland. The green curry was average. The price was a little high. Things we liked: The Penang was very good, and the pad se uii was very good but the tofu was slightly too soft. Potstickers we’re very good with an excellent sauce.
Very Authentic Thai food. Friendly staffs. Good price.
I have ordered their eggplant veggie plate for delivery on several occasions; however, I started noticing that the eggplants appeared spoiled and the next time I ordered, I specifically asked that they use fresh vegetables. The first time, they just canceled my order. The second time I ordered, an Asian sounding female called me on my phone and asked why I asked for fresh vegetables, but every time I attempted to answer her, she would cut me off, yelling in my ear. I finally just hung up on her. I used to cook professionally, and I know what eggplant is supposed to look like. Their actions showed me that they knew they were wrong.
Got beef drunken noodles taste was delicious but for the price and portion of food i was left disappointed compared to other Thai restaurants nearby
Always great food and service. Plenty of food to eat.
What does $57.64 get you here? Well it got us 2 beef Pad Se Ews, 1 order of Cream / Crab Cheese Wontons, and 2 Large Thai Teas (with $2 charges for boba).
Now I would normally say something good here, but honestly, the Thai Teas were watered down, the Beed Pad See Ews were bland tasting with withered old broccolis. Now my biggest pet peeve: $9.00 for Wontons, and they give you five. FIVE. That's $1.80 per wonton and honestly they tasted awful. I've been to cheaper places in LOS ANGELES that give you a better bang for you buck.
If you're looking for good Thai Food at a good price, look elsewhere.
Really good Thai food. If you like it spicy, you can order your level mild, medium or hot. I love spicy foods , but medium will still burn your mouth a little bit. Delicious!
Spicy chicken so ovr cooked like chewing on rocks.complained to both waitress they wouldnnt do anything about it!would never eat there again horrible
Really disgusting, place are not clean, poor service.
Love the yellow curry.
Good service. The food was okay
I went to Thai Dawn Bristo me and my family and sit down they had chicken fried rice orange chicken some Curry that my daughter liked it they have handicap and plenty of regular parking they have a public restroom the place is a little on the dark side I don't know if I'm ready to have that again.
It was good.
Excellent Service Super Clean
I read the reviews stating they had vegan options, I was not disappointed.
The employees were all nice and helpful. There are vegan options as well as meat plates! The food came out fast and it was so hot! I got the Pad Kee Mow- drunken noodles with veggies & tofu and it was delicious and filling! We were a little confused though because the sign on the building says route 66 Thai & seafood and the listing says Thai dawn bistro so, im not sure what that's about. We really liked it though.
My favorite place to eat
Food is always fresh and very tasty. We have tried several other Thai restaurants and this one is the best.
OMG!! Soooo good!! We were looking for Pho, and came here because we couldn't find a good Pho nearby, and I am so glad we did!
I had the garden salad, and it came with a homemade ginger sesame dressing that was delish.
My husband got the Thai Noodle Soup with shrimp. The broth was light, but so flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the shrimp were really fresh.
Oh! Also the most amazing thing was the sticky rice with mango. It was heaven!! The cold mangos were silky, sweet and so good with the warm coconut rice!
Thank you for such a good foodie experience, on our long drive today!
The owner at this place was so rude and food smelled like feet . They made a mistake with my food and decided to argue with me that it was my fault. Not worth the hassle. Thai Lotus is best in HD !
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD WAS AMAZING!! NICE AND CALM VIBE
Delivery is through Uber/ GrubHub.(don't quote me on it, curbside pickup is ordering ahead)
Now on to the main review, price is a little more on the high end, but the accept card transaction. Some Thai dishes are not up to previous standards. Large selection of dishes to choose from so your not stuck getting the same thing all the time. Best advice it's 1 old item/1 new item that way you'll be somewhat satisfied with your meal.
Great food, service
It was my first time going in there today. The lady at the register wasn't helpful. She waited to even say anything to me until I stared at her.. Horrible customer service! Also I didn't know I could choose fried rice which I love, long story short my mom and I weren't happy with this place and if the lady at the front would've helped me out( customer service)I at least would have like liked the rice but nope I didn't know you could choose, I found out afterwards by someone else...
The food was fine but the servers were rude. There were a total of 3 tables including ours, each a 2 top and not even once did the server come back to see if we needed water or if the food was fine etc.
This place was dirty, slow and unprofessional service, food was ok, but presentation was very poor. Ordered water, they gave it to me after I asked for the second time. The restroom was really dirty, smelled horrible. Gave 2 stars only because the taste of food was fine. Don’t recommend
Chicken and shrimp fried rice 🔥🔥 food is really good and will fill you up. 😋 I like going whenever I can. I recommend
Poor customer service
I called to order a soup at 320 pm
Walked into the store at 420 pm and the soup was still not ready
I continued to wait another 15 minutes for my soup and the flavor was NOT WORTH THE WAIT upon getting home and eating it it was the most simple tasting soup I’ve ever had it was HORRIBLE
If your looking for an authentic Tom ka soup
This place is not the one!!!
Food taste really good
I picked up the Tom yum soup which was underwhelming. I ordered the pot which is the largest size and it included only a couple shrimp some mushrooms and it was very salty. Will not return.
Excellent Thai Food! Been coming here for years, great service, fair prices. Would recommend to anyone looking for great Thai Food 😋
The Food is good here no doubt. But it isn't be best in town. If you want a good meal you can have one here. The reason why I gave it three starts instead of 4 is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I hope they bring their standards up. By the way try the Papaya Salad! Very well made!
Excellent tasting food, very authentic!
Esta muy bien muy sabroso todo
Good
Ordered a yellow curry and a peanut curry for takeout. Ready on time. Delicious in flavor. My issue is that there had to be less than 4 ounces of meat in each order. Almost entirely sauce except for the yellow which came with an abundance of potatoes. I’d thought it a random mistake of the dipping spoon had it not been so skimpy on both orders. If it happens again I won’t return.
i love eating here! one of my favorite!
My favorite Thai restaurant in the high desert! The best chicken fried rice ever! Staff is always friendly! I’ve been coming here for about 4 years!
It was pretty bad. Sorry we tried to like it but we did not.
Food super delicious 😋
Honestly everyone has their own preferences on what is good, great pr Bombay to them. Of these reviews help, my opinion is, the food is ok, but my favorite Asian dishes are anything spicy, & wherever I go, they must have Bombay friend rice, with or without meats, & this fried rice was NO BUENO, NOT GOOD. Lol
I need to try another place, I'll let you know what I find, stay tuned! Lol
Bad service, slow service. Food was good. Problem are the servers. Bad customer service.
One of the best Thai places I've had. They changed their name but same food.
Love the coconut shrimp
Great food good portions
Great food always comes out incredibly hot
The staff was not very helpful with refills of drinks. The food was alright.
Is good and the pepole seems nice
Not good at all i was expecting more authenticity. Tasted like something I can make at home. (Yellow Curry)
