And indeed everything is so fresh, crispy and tasty. The bill is very reasonable. The flavor of the food here is not too crazy so it is good even for people who can't handle spicy. In any event, highly recommended and we would love to come back again!

Ordered DoorDash via pick up. Got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and a Thai Iced Tea. Food was ready within 10 mins and taste was excellent. Meat was tender and dish was seasoned perfectly. One of the best drunken noodles I’ve had from any Thai spot. This place gives you a lot of food for reasonable prices. This will be one of my go to Thai spots from now on.

A small "Thai" dive near Burbank - Hollywood (formerly Bob Hope) Airport is popular with locals. The place also serves a small Thai influenced Chinese menu. However, I didn't try. There is Thai Menu which you should order from (although I couldn't) , the version of Pad Thai Chai Thung, is spicy and prepared with dried shrimp (like in Thailand). It was very good but don't expect your Americanized Pad Thai. The Sour Ribs are popular but I didn't care for them. I hope to return and try other items on the menu. Ask for the Thai menu and recommendations. :)

If you call never pick up and also they have weird hours .. never really know when they are open. Food is a between 3 and 3.5 out of 5.

I got two orders of drunken noodles (one with steamed tofu and one with beef) for my family, and one order of pad see ew with beef for myself. Flavor was pretty average, my only complaint is the beef in the pad see ew was old and dry. I felt like I was chewing on a flip flop. Staff were really nice and helpful. We did take out but the restaurant looked nice and clean when we picked up the food. Portions are also on the larger side. If you're a big eater you'll definitely be full, otherwise one entrée could potentially be two meals.

The food is consistently good. pad kee mao and spicy fried rice is what we usually get so I vouch for those plates. The cashier (man) is very hardworking. The food is ready relatively quick. And their portions are really generous considering restaurant food is getting more and more expensive, but they have a good price for what you get. It's my favorite Thai spot in town for the past year.

I had a larb salad and a beef tendon soup for takeout. I think those items would likely be better if I dined in. It was pricey soup and salad for $34.

My favourite Thai restaurant in town! Their food is so delicious and fresh. A recent Thailand visit confirmed that their flavours are authentic and not Americanized at all. I specifically sought out places that had krapow because Chai Thung's is so good, and so spicy! Their cashew chicken and yellow curry are also favourites. Great as a lunch special but better for dinner so you can order Chinese-style and try it all!

Genuinely one of the BEST hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Sun Valley. Not only is the food deliciously authentic, but it’s at an unbeatable price and the portions are very generous.

I went for lunch with one coworker, we both had lunch special, I ordered mix vegetables with Chicken it was so good, I'm looking forward to try some other dishes next time I'm in the area, and I hope the chef keep delivering the same delicious flavors, really recommend this place to anyone who feels like having some Thai food

I have been to this Thai food for long years, I love a marinaded pork with noodle with Chinese Broccoli. It called " Rad-na" I give 10** for this dish.

Amazing Thai food. The crab fried rice and the pineapple fried rice are some of my go to favorites. Also a big fan of the orange chicken as it’s very crispy. The bbq beef and pork are also quite good as is the pad Thai. Been coming here for awhile ver 10 years. Have yet to be disappointed.

For the first time in many years of eating here I was very disappointed.Satay was over cooked and dry, peanut sauce was weak, coconut soup tasted like bathwater,had no cream in it was just bad...must have changed cooks I'm guessing...thinking of taking it back cause I couldn't eat it...bummed for sure...

Love this place! Very authentic as long as you know what to order. Don't come here if you're looking for orange chicken. The pork jerky is amazing, the pad-see-u is great. Try the pa-nang beef medium if you like spicy. I wasn't even a fan of Thai food til I came here.

This place is so good. The food is always so tasty and fresh lots of veggies . Made with love and probably msg. Lol but it's delicious so who cares . .. I only wish they took orders online on an app the only way is by phone or going inside. I recommend calling that way you don't wait that long. They have a website but you can't do orders. The way they have it setup for covid makes me feel safe about eating from them . Thank you for doing your part and keeping the community safe .

Be very careful when you order takeout. I ordered lunch here for pickup due to COVID-19 and when I picked up the food where was 10 percent up-charge. I called the gentlemen and told him that I was being overcharged and the price they charged me was not reflected on the menu. First, he tells me that there is an additional charge of $1.00 for beef. I look at the item on the menu and it clearly states that shrimp has an additional charge, not chicken, beef, or pork. So I called him out on it and he did not have an answer. He then says that he raised the prices due to the virus but has not changed it on the menu because he can't order a new menu. How is that my problem? He then returned the money.
I do not mind paying for food but did not appreciate sly move.

There food is really good. Small family owned and managed restaurant. I especially enjoy their coconut soup, pineapple rice w/shrimp and can't go without their thai tea. Which is made fresh daily. Only setback no A/C .

I just ordered a combination fried rice that supposed to come with pork beef chicken and shrimp and I ended up having a big bowl of rice with two small pieces of shrimp and 4 chicken slices and when I asked the waitress that doesn't speak English for sure she answered we sorry we are out of beef and pork..well too late madam you should have said that before I ordered... I don't recommend this place at all

Have been eating here for over five years now. It is absolutely one of my top ten favorite restaurants and by far the best Thai food around consistently. I highly recommend this place to anyone and bring family and friends here whenever possible. Our favorites that we order almost every time are as follows : Thai sausage, Pork jerky, Fried tofu, Pad See Ew, Panang Curry over steamed rice and Larb.

This is where my hubby learned to love Thai food. Pork jerky appetizer is awesome as well as the pan nang curry. An instant favorite was the spicy seafood soup.

Something changed with this place, it looks like the menu changed it became just a other run of the mill Thai places that try to cater to too many menu items which causes the overall quality to suffer. The soups are watered down and they don't change the oil frequently enough so the fried foods come out dirty. Used to come here for the crispy fried catfish which is an Isaan specialty dish and I couldn't finish it because it was soggy.

Closed to early good food

I ordered a few dishes a couple days back when I asked for the total it was $73 with change I'm looking Back at the menu at what I ordered and my total should have been around $55-$60 but was charged extra for no reason. I didn't appreciate that. Probably won't be ordering from this place again.

The food is ok but the owner is the cheapest person in the world. I was there for more than 20 minutes waiting cause is only one lady handling everything poor lady she was taking the orders by phone , cleaning the tables , serving people the food the drinks , she was the cashiers too . Terrible service the worth.

I discovered this place on my last birthday, and it's become one of my favorites. Great home-cooked style meals and quiet atmosphere.
