Thai restaurant
The best Thai food we’ve ever had! The flavors were exceptional and the meats were seasoned so well. I really wished we’d live closer because this place would have become a go to for us. Service was fast and the atmosphere is very lovely. Please give this place a try it will not disappoint.
As a resident of Santa Clarita for 25 years, I can tell you THIS is the spot for Thai food! The owner Sam has his heart in the business. He goes to the veggie district every single morning to buy fresh produce, and let me tell you, you will taste the difference! The waitress Maria is so sweet and gave great suggestions. All around the restaurant is beautiful, very traditional food, decor, drinks, this is my new go-to Thai restaurant! Thank you all!
Waitress didn’t greet us all when we walked in, no smile, didn’t even say hello, and the next people that came in right after us she was smiling and greeted warmly. Walked out immediately. No way to greet patrons as it wasn’t busy at all. I feel this is discriminatory behavior. Overall, I suggest that it is paramount you greet everyone equally!
In a crowded field of Thai restaurants where most do the baseline job of providing good enough Thai standards, Thai Yaki stands out as offering truly delicious food with chef-driven recipes.
We've been twice now, ordered different items on both visits, and really loved everything we got. Complimentary egg rolls come with your meal (enough for one per person) so you might save a few dollars and not order them if one is enough for you.
So far we've tried the Green Curry Fried rice with tofu. (really crave-worthy and delicious), the Panang Curry (a peanut-based sauce, also with tofu, also delicious), the Garlic Pepper Tofu (completely unique and amazing crispy on the outside, soft on the inside tofu offering), and the Thai Sukiyaki Noodle Soup with vegetarian broth. (Hearty and also delicious.)
We also love how easy it is to be a vegetarian at Thai Yaki. Anything can be made with tofus the protein and the soups all have a vegetarian broth option.
The staff here are nice...it was about 2 months between our visits and our server remembered us and fielded all our dietary restriction questions like a pro. (An honest pro, she didn't know the answers to everything but was happy to check.) We also met the owner who told us about her husband's recipes which the menu is based on.
We've had Thai food all over the place and put what we had here among the best we've had anywhere. There's a real attention to detail in the way the food tastes.
We will eat and order from here forever.
It was our first time coming to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The host/server was lovely and we even got complimentary spring rolls. The butterfly pea lemonade was delicious along with the Thai tea. All of our food was great. The place had a wonderful vibe and we will definitely be returning.
I’ve been searching for Thai restaurants that serve green curry fried rice for a long time. I’m in Valencia nearly every day. Other than a Thai restaurant in seal Beach and another Thai restaurant in San Anselmo, I have not found any other Thai restaurants that serve green curry fried rice until today.
I arrived at 11:45 and it was greeted right away. I believe the server is also one of the owners. She was very nice and accommodating. I ordered the Thai basil chicken with minced chicken and the green curry fried rice with chicken. They were both delicious. The only thing I ask, is they hold off on so many green beans. I feel that 70% of the dish was green beans. Either way it was delicious. Next time I order, I’m just gonna tell them to take it easy on the green beans.
We usually get takeout. I've only dined in here one time, it was nice and the service was great. The food is another level of quality! My favorite Thai food restaurant changed owners and the food quality was compromised. So, I was very happy to find Thai Yaki. It's now my favorite Thai food restaurant.

There was a long hair in our food and when we told the waitress about it she stated that all the cooks were men. Insinuating that’s we were lying about it. Never came back to serve us. Very rude staff
This place use to be pretty good when the other lady ran it! I have changed my mind on this place since she left. Have been there three times since and have had the worst possible experience. The servers are sooo rude! You will get your order taken by a lady with a short curly bob and loooong finger nails clicking on an iPad, while she belittles you if you ask anything about the menu. Then never see her again after the overpriced tiny portion of a meal is dropped off with her never to be seen again other than when you are leaving to smell her cloud of smoke she is smoking out the door as you leave. Other tables there were literally rolling their eyes at it too. Not going back. I was literally embarrassed 2 separate times taking my friends out to eat there to be treated like garbage and have a poor quality food missing half the ingredients of the real deal. Restaurants are too overpriced to choose one that doesn't treat you well or have good food.
Love this placd
Not happy with the rude waitress.
Great food, atmosphere, service thank you
Tried to call in to order, got put on hold for 3 minutes, got hung up on. Called back, put on hold, hung up on after 2 minutes. Tried calling back, phone number goes to voicemail and says the mailbox is full.... was really looking forward to trying this place :(

On Sunday night, we went in as a party of two and found only three occupied tables. We were instructed to sit in a booth next to the door, which happened to be the darkest corner in the restaurant. The atmosphere was not warm, and our booth's proximity to the entrance made it even colder. When we asked if we could move further inside, the server informed us that those tables were reserved for larger groups. After pausing for 2 seconds, she said, "Okay, you can sit." However, as we made our way to the new table, the server tossed the menus down and said, "Okay, you order more." .... Are you going to stay and spend more to appease our server's demands?

Pad Thai was delicious! Highly recommend the place.
Came here last night with my family. Ordered a small chicken Tom Kha soup, orange chicken, drunken noodles, and the Thai style short ribs. Overall the flavor of the food was pretty good. Some menu highlights: Tom kha and the drunken noodles. The Thai style short ribs weren’t really Thai style. I’m not too sure what’s Thai style about bbq short ribs, they tasted like average American bbq short ribs; nothing special and a bit disappointing. The orange chicken was subpar and was a bit disappointing too because they were presented beautifully. Their Thai iced tea was pretty good, not too sweet like other places and well balanced. I would come back, but I would stick to ordering what we know is great. They have some hits and some misses with menu items. Service was just okay too, it was a slow night for dining in, but to be fair, there were only two ladies up front managing the front of the house. We didn’t get checked up on once, not to see how the food was, no water refills. We actually had to flag down one of the ladies to get some boxes to go. I’ll give this place another chance some time.
Best place for Thai food in SCV! The portions are very generous and everything can be made vegan if requested. My favorite dish is the panang curry.
I recently revisited this restaurant, expecting to enjoy another pleasant meal like my first visit. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the food had been enjoyable previously, last night’s meal fell short. The service was notably poor. The two serving staffs working around 8 p.m. on August 9, 2024, displayed bad attitudes and walked around the restaurant with displeased expressions. Their attitudes and lack of communication made the visit uncomfortable. We ordered fried rice, which arrived wet and unappetizing. When we requested a box and a spoon, the serving staffs member responded with a cold expression and no verbal acknowledgment. We also observed another group of diners who, after waiting five minutes without any greeting, left in frustration. It’s disheartening to see such a decline in hospitality and service, especially considering the restaurant’s previous potential. Based on other reviews, it seems others have encountered similar issues with these serving staffs . Their behavior could significantly impact the restaurant’s business.
The food is tasty; some of the best food when you pass through here. We had the pineapple curry and the Drunken noodle, and the portions were just right. Thank you!
The best Thai food we’ve ever had! The flavors were exceptional and the meats were seasoned so well. I really wished we’d live closer because this place would have become a go to for us. Service was fast and the atmosphere is very lovely. Please give this place a try it will not disappoint.
Clean, pleasant, promp service, delicious food 😋
I don’t leave reviews often but this place made me so happy. The best food I’ve had outside of living in Thailand. Our food arrived so quickly and as soon as I tried it, it hit me like a wave of nostalgia. The women were so sweet to our son and made our dinner a great experience. I’m so happy we came here.
First time I've ordered Spicy Beef Salad from here.
The flavor was so disgusting & 🤮 never again.
Es un excelente restaurante se los recomiendo muy limpios y muy buena su comida 😀
sooo delicious. big portion and authentic thai taste. we eat here twice
Super legit and underrated. Hidden but good
I will never come back to this establishment.
The lady was rude to say the least, no good evening, no greetings, nothing.
Just a "you have to sit outside!" yelled at my face as I entered God forbid, with my 3lbs chihuahua. No mention that dogs are forbidden anywhere by the way, but even if that was the case, kindness is free and should I say mandatory in the hospitality business?
Anyway we sat outside and after being ignored for 15minutes we left. I have never seen that in Valencia before.
Shame on your business!
Some of the best Thai food we’ve had. I always order the drunken noodles and I was blown away by the flavor. We also got the Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice…incredible. Service was fast, we did come at a slow point. Highly recommend this family owned business. I never leave reviews btw…had to for this place. 10/10 recommend!
Traveling back to the Bay Area, we searched Google Maps for a restaurant and this one came up. I’m so happy we ate here, it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the service fantastic! It’s tucked away in a strip mall right off the freeway!
Great service and even better Thai food. If you are in the neighborhood or passing through, give them a try. You won't regret it.
We stopped for dinner passing through Santa Clarita on the way to San Diego and took a chance on Thai Yaki. Everything was very good with nice flavor and spice levels were right on. Some ingredients were a bit different from what we're used to (like green beans in pad kee mao) but it worked well enough. We were happy with everything. Yum!
Would like to add I made a yelp specifically for this restaurant and they delete google reviews. Ordered pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. The pineapple fried rice was dry, only had 2 shrimp, 1/16 dry cup worth of hard chicken, 5 raisins and 6 cashew halves no pineapple. The pad Thai was clumped and stiff, asked for extra chicken and broccoli (broc) (no option to add so specified in directions for extra chicken and broccoli) and added a generous tip on pick up since there was no option to charge but none was added and there was only about 1/16 cup of chicken in the less than appealing Pad Thai. When I arrived the staff acted as though I did not tip, said they added extra chicken (did not) and that broc was typo as vroc and they didn't know what that was and when explained stated it'd be 2 dollars more to add even though we left a very generous tip on a pick up order only for this to be added. The restaurant itself smells of mold and mildew from water damaged and when I called in to check on when the order would be ready I was "placed on hold" which consisted of sitting for 10 minutes while listening to the staff laugh because they did not hold correctly. There are far better Thai restaurants in the area please save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.
Great food and nice service
Should be 5 stars. Amazing
Ok this play is the real deal! I’ve been eating Thai food all around for over 20 years and this place takes the cake ! The Tom khai coconut soup came out piping hot and still had a flame to it with rich flavors! The orange chicken was sweet and crunchy with white chicken breast. The cream cheese ragoons were so creamy and delicious! Everything was amazing! 5 stars!! Will definitely be back.
Very clean 👌 and very dilishes food
Not the greatest decor, but the service was quick and the food SUPERB! Very pleased with the butterfly pea lemonade - try it! Many thanks to all the staff.
The worst place ever visited. They serve certain race of customers first. A lot of people there were unhappy because of the unprofessional service. People are walking around to get what they need because they don't take care of their customers at all. I was YELLED by the waitress who doesn't even speak ENGLISH. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I haven’t had Thai food this good since I was last in Thailand. This place is amazing. Great food, delicious soup, awesome service. I’ll be back here a million times.
I got takeout after hearing good things. I was happy I tried it. I got the pad Thai. It was decent. I also ordered pad woon sen. Much more flavorful than the pad that. I liked the spiciness of it. Will be going back.
Very good food,nice atmosphere.
Just picked up a late lunch from Thai Yaki. We wanted to shake up our normal lunch routine and try this for the first time. WOW it is amazing and absolutely delicious. Phones my order in for take out and they were prompt and so quick to have it fulfilled. Green Curry, Pad See Ew, and the Thai Fried Rice were incredible. Absolutely adding this to our normal routine from now on.
Run, don’t walk to get here. You will not be disappointed.
We went here to meet up friends before they kept driving north to home. The location was convenient for coming from the 126 and the 5 freeways.
I wish this restaurant was closer to our home. It was really good! The crab ragoon appetizer was extra delicious because it had garlic in the cream cheese and the other dishes were really good. The non-alcoholic mango cider was amazing. I wish we had asked where they got it. The amount of food for the money was appropriate.
The owner of the restaurant and his staff were also very patient and friendly. We hung out with our kids there for a while to visit with the friends, and they allowed it.
The restaurant is cute and bright. The shopping mall it's located it in is sad and dark. Most businesses are closed. I hope that this restaurant stays around so we can visit again sometime!
Excellent meals and top notch service...👍
AUTHENTIC. Since I moved to Santa Clarita, I have been disappointed by the options and quality of food available. Then I found this place and it is top notch! The staff is well spoken and attentive, and the food is so tasty and authentic that it reminds me of my childhood in Asia. I am now addicted!
Best Thai food in Santa Clarita! Enjoyed the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Eggplant, Fried Chicken and Eggrolls. Good portions especially for family style. The owners are very nice and made sure we were happy.
Restaurant closed for Christmas celebrate 24-27~
I wanted to take a picture of the food, but it was so good that I lost my track of thought. Their veggie dishes was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend
The only good Thai food I have found in Santa Clarita (Tried 4 other locations)
Great Thai food, friendly
I have traveled all over the US for work and always end up trying to shop at a local establishment to help out the small businesses - rarely do I find somewhere I place on my list to come back to in my personal time if I am around, but Thai Yaki is one of those places I'd definitely come back to in the area.
I ordered a Chicken Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay, both were ready in about 15 minutes for me to take to my hotel. The inside of the establishment is clean, decorated nicely, and has great lighting.
I took my food to my hotel and it was still piping hot after about 15 minutes, the Pad Thai (pictured) was massive, after (5) Chicken Satay Skewers I was only able to finish it after taking a 2hr break. The portion size for to-go was huge and usually that's never the case. The vegetables were crisp, and the pickled chillis and cucumbers on the side with the Satay were AMAZING. Those are the reason I'd come back.
This is definitely a good bang for your buck if you're in the area for Six Flags and looking to feed your family.
My one complaint/suggestion is they don't allow spice level changes on the Pad Thai, it was flavorful but really equated to like a 1 star, I wish I could have gotten a little more spice to into really feel the food, but the flavors were all still there despite not being as spicy as I would have liked.
Great food. Red curry was not too sweet, as in some Thai restaurants. Spice levels are not high, so order spicy or extra spicy if you want a kick. Tom Kha soup was also good.
Best
The food was incredible and the wait staff are very kind!
Excellent Thai food - some of the best curry I've had.
This place is a gem! My whole family loves it and they have generous portions too!
our first visit here. service was good, very polite. food was outstanding. we had tofu angetable soup, with pork, great flavor, served hot, beans with chicken and vegetablez, and beef couri dish. we will be back.
Food is yummy but service is SLOW. They only had 1 girl doing EVERYTHING. She was taking care of serving, at register, busting tables and takeout orders. Poor lady.
Yum Yum Yum Best Thai Food I've ever had 😋 😋 😋
The food and the Thai tea wirh boba was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Food was delicious! The lady who took our order was very sweet. We ended up getting takeout here two days in a row. The restaurant is very small, but we are looking forward to doing dine in next time.
Very cute mom & pop place. Some of the best Thai food we have ever had. Love finding little gems like this!
Food was amazing, some of the best thai food I have had. Service was questionable- 30 minutes late, other patrons served ahead of us. Had to remind staff to do specific things (get napinks, sauce). Asked server for boxes, she disappeared and never came back? Had to ask different server for boxes. 3 dollar discount for this. Cute little family owned restaurant in a little shopping mall that's hard to access.
The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly!! It was some of the best Thai food we had had for a while and the service very friendly.
Best food I've ever had
Me and a few buddies of mine were visiting from Arizona and found Thai Yaki by looking it up on Google after leaving 6 Flags. This place is a hidden gem. The restaurant is very clean, the food was tasty, and the service was very good. We were very satisfied with their portion sizes of the food as well. We will be back when in the area.
Came in on a Sunday evening, wait staff was stretched a little thin but the food was absolutely delicious. We got the chicken ka pow spicy, chicken khao soi, pork belly panang curry, and pork belly yakisoba (admittedly not Thai, but give it a chance and you won't regret it). Will definitely be coming back.
Tried this place for the first time for a quick lunch bite. Was sat immediately. Allowed ample time to review the menu. We put our order in and were serviced quickly. The server was attentive. The food was great! I had the spaghetti kee mow. It’s my favorite dish. You can pick the level of spicy you’d like.
Best Thai in Santa Clarita valley! The garlic pepper beef was to die for.
It was our first time coming to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The host/server was lovely and we even got complimentary spring rolls. The butterfly pea lemonade was delicious along with the Thai tea. All of our food was great. The place had a wonderful vibe and we will definitely be returning.
Best Thai restaurant in Santa Clarita!!! The food is excellent, very friendly staff and the restaurant is very nice and clean.
Thank you for opening this restaurant
A hidden gem in Valencia. Nice atmosphere. Food was really delicious. We ordered the crab wontons, chicken prik king, chicken Penang. The Thai iced tea was really good too! Great service also. The only thing missing was fortune cookies.
So good, loved the pad Thai and fried rice
Fantastic service and great food! Will definitely be coming back
Excellent food and service, highly recommend!
This food was so good and so authentic! It was amazing! I will be coming back here and it is definitely my favorite Thai food I’ve had in years! Good service too!
Good presentation and great presentation very well done all around.
Fantastic!!!! Try the sticky rice and mango for dessert. It’s to die for.

Pineapple chicken and shrimp fried rice amazing 🔥!!
We had the panang curry and pad see ew. Both were delicious, but the curry was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted: THEN they also had great service! A combination you don’t really see anymore. Will be back for sure.
We were passing by and I was in the mood for Thai food this place was delicious!! Amazing service the lady who helped us was super friendly and not only was the food great but the portions were soo big ! We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken , yaki noodles with chicken, the yellow curry w chicken and the peanut curry sauce I can’t remember the name but they were all delicious.
Excellent food & service
Excellent flavorful meals, as Thai food should be.
Almost everything has vegetarian options, some vegan.
Many dishes to choose from.
The staff is attentive and on top of things
Great service and absolute delicious food. I can't wait to go again!
Authentic Thai straight from Chang Mai. Amazing service and delicious food, the owner is the chef and his wife works the dining room creating an a pleasant homely experience. Hard to find better Thai food than this!!
My new favorite Thai restaurant. I had their Sukiyaki Soup and it was delicious. We also had the yellow and red curry. Amazing! I recommend this restaurant any day of the week.
The serving is huge! I was surprised how much tofu they included. There was enough curry to feed 5-6 servings. My friend and I managed to share 1.5 rice and 4 servings of the curry.
It tastes authentic and clean.
The medium spice is spicy enough to taste without being overwhelming.
grateful for the complementary egg rolls.
I'm excited to come again and try their other dishes.
This newly opened Thai restaurant is a great addition to the area. We ordered the Panang curry, Kapow and Larbb dishes and all were excellent. Fast and friendly delivery too!! I'm sure this site will eventually have great reviews, and I'm delighted they're in my neighborhood.
Awesome food! Loved it! I tried like 4 starters, the seafood soup, combination fried rice. Everything was excellent! Definitely coming back.
