I’ve been coming to this Thai restaurant for years, and it’s consistently phenomenal! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always makes me feel like family. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the experience is seamless and enjoyable every time. This is, without a doubt, my favorite spot for authentic Thai cuisine. Highly recommend!

I had to repeat myself frequently to get order right. After lots of questioning, finally got a recommendation for the Yellow curry (supposedly their best).... the curry had minimal flavor and no spice. And the potatoes were still raw and crunchy! Adding beef got me 3-4 pieces of meat . Rice to go with curry was an extra charge. Pad thai is hard to mess up, and yet it seemed to have no flavor as well. And to top it off, portions were small. Not sure how 2 small entrees cost $40.

If this was my only option again, I would change cuisine instead

This was so good! We were travelers, both me and my fiancé absolutely love the food we got. The spices they used are just right and balanced, making it very interesting. And their homemade chili sauce/oil are very interesting and good. I got lunch Tom Yum noodle soup, he got yellow curry, both very good

First of all the outside courtyard, amazing ambiance. Second, the food is ridiculously good. Orange chicken, like real oranges? Basel pork etc, everything was great. Top place.

I'm from Los Angeles and this is the best thai food I've had on this side of California. It's fresh the vegetables are perfect the signature dishes are definitely worth coming back for. 10/10 even with delivery the food quality is still amazing! Did delivery then craved it again a few weeks later and had the pleasure of dining in. So delicious!!!

Good! I had a family dinner here. Lots on the menu to choose from, there was something for everyone at the table.

Favorite spot for takeout and delivery. Fast service, they go above and beyond. They are very friendly and I love that they have their own online ordering system so we can order delivery direct from the restaurant, without the fees from delivery apps. I highly recommend the Yellow curry, Fresh spring rolls, Pad Thai, Tom Kha, Satay, and Pad Kee Mao.

The food is unbelievably flavorful! The interior is nicely themed and the staff are kind and helpful.

I had only 15 minutes before my train left and wanted to get something to take, this place was great! The staff were super friendly, I explained my time situation and that I was worried about making my train and they told me they can make the food in 5-10 minutes, he got it to me after about 5 minutes! Food was great too, especially since he whipped it out so fast! Big dish that will be my lunch and dinner for under $20

Great Thai food done to your liking. The restaurant is in an old commercial building in the railroad district. Service was adequate, but several groups who came in after us got served ahead of us even though we had ordered ahead of them.

Food is always excellent, service is generally good except when the everyone is being run off their feet. Even then food is wonderful and they maintain a pleasant atmosphere. Eat outside w heaters or inside, all good! Small place w consistently high quality wonderful flavored food.

I'm honestly very surprised with some of these bad reviews, especially as far as service is concerned. My boyfriend and I have been going here for close to a decade now and we love it. We have the same server almost every time and she is as sweet as can be. The last time we were there, a very nice gentleman waited on us instead. Just before our food came out, my boyfriend realized he forgot to ask for his panang curry mild. When the server brought it to the table, he told us that our regular server (also working that day) had already noticed that and made the change before the order went in. Now that is attentive service!

The best Thai food we had in a while. We had Tom Yum, green curry, Asian salad and pad thai. All of them tasted great. Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup.

Food and service are always top notch. I love that you can get the papaya salad and sticky rice as an option with the lunch special. Consistently good and is the best in our area. There was a Thai beef jerky appetizer on the special board today that I would definitely recommend!

I come here often and it’s always good but whoever cooks during the day really keeps me coming back for more. Next level delicious at lunch time. Closest thing I’ve found to what I used to eat in Thailand. So so so good.

Best Thai food we've had in SLO! The red curry and cashew stir fry were excellent! We enjoyed it on their back patio.

Really excellent food and service. Eating on the patio was the perfect touch.

Everything was great, ordered the chicken satay, tom yum and the eggplant dish, with the Buddha rolls as an appetizer. The Buddha rolls were amazing with a rice wrapper soft and delicious with vegetables and lastly the fresh mint. Everything was prepared with the freshest ingredients and the customer service was fantastic. The eggplant dish was superb, even if you are not an eggplant fan it was cooked and served with perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal, authentic and a warm atmosphere to enjoy the delightful food.

Owner is disrespectful!! She happened to be our server for a party of 8 guests.
She had a VERY RUDE ATTITUDE toward us when we got sat at our table. Made it very clear there is only 1 bottle of wine corkage allowed!

Proceeded to take our order with an attitude!
They had 3 tables occupied on a Monday night, and we were their largest party, which they did NOT care for.!

Small hidden gem nearest the Amtrak station of San Louis Obispo. The food is delicious and comes in big portions. The staff are friendly and have fast service . My train was delayed so I went for a 2pm lunch. I had the following:

- Chicken skewers with peanut sauce 🍡
The chicken was ok. The peanut sauce made it better.

2) Mango with coconut sticky rice🥭🍚
I always order this dessert in Thai restaurants, but this place had it as its best! The mangos and berries were cold and fresh and the sticky rice was hot and creamy 🤤must try.

Despite they close from 3-5 they let me stay until my train time. It’s also worth to mention that they have a wide clean bathroom.

Had to edit this review to add that I completely disagree with the other reviewer who said that there aren't good vegan options. I've been here many times, and always sub meat out with fried tofu and the dish is always well seasoned and the tofu is not soft. You do want to ask them to not add fish sauce. Thai food is definitely one of the best cuisines for vegans, and this place has great Thai food 😋

This is "A la minute" dining done right!

Didn't have good vegan options and they acted put-out when requesting them, which isn't what they advertised. Tasteless tofu, bland food that gave me a slightly upset stomach processing it.

Saying that this place has vegan/vegetarian options is a big stretch. The only thing they have for vegans is undercooked, bland soft tofu. The peanut sauce tasted mostly like cornstarch and water.
My husband asked for hot sauce. The waiter came and dropped 4 jars on a table. We asked what all these are. He said: 2 of them were fish oil sauces. We asked which one was vegan; he led out a big sigh and said: I don’t know.
Jasmine hot tea was completely tasteless (just like drinking hot water).
The white rice was good.
In short: not a vegan-friendly place as they claim.

Flavorful food, plenty of options.
Good for children, we went with 3 kids, all ate well.
Parking was on the street, although you may park close to the station.
Restrooms were clean.

Nice restaurant. The food is good. The drunken noodles might be spicy for some but right for those who expect it. Thai ice coffee tastes great. Gets busy during lunch hour, so plan ahead.

The Hawaiian Fried Rice was the best Thai Fried Rice I have ever had! Great food. The crab wontons were cooked perfectly!

I’m not usually the type to write reviews but after eating what was easily the WORST Panang curry of my life I felt like I had to. The Panang curry here has almost no flavor and was hard to finish. The carrots in the Curry were undercooked and the most frequent of the vegetables in my “vegetable curry” was lettuce.. it feels like no effort was put into the curries so if you are a Thai curry enjoyer I would stay far away from this place

I came here on Xmas night and it was one of the few places open - the staff was quite overwhelmed and working their socks off so the slight wait was understandable. The food was delicious but what really was special was that one of the workers dropped off my credit card I left behind at the end of their shift to the hotel I was staying at. So kind of them - I was very thankful.

This is my second time eating in this neighborhood Thai restaurant in San Luis Obispo. The quality of the food and the service are very good. This time I had the seafood pad Thai and the seafood was extremely fresh. They have a very nice patio to seat outside and enjoy the food.

A great thai restaurant with a broad menu. Service was good and I loved the outdoor patio. The spice scale is slightly tempered but still packs a punch - the medium hot option was perfect to tickle my taste buds, which the hot option makes me cry a little. Mild is gentle, if you're worried about spiciness. Rice is $2 extra but the curries are quite affordable, so it didn't bother me.

We went on a busy Saturday evening and had to wait a reasonable time to be seated. The service was prompt and very friendly. The servers checked on us frequently. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. We ordered beef salad, Panang curry, Bbq Pork and fried rice and everything was very flavorful and well prepared and plated. Definitely will go back on our next trip to SLO.

My wife and I decided to have a Valentine’s Day lunch, we agreed to try My Thai for the first time. The spice point was perfect!! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food, my wife had Papaya Pok Pok, and I enjoyed Spicy Basil with tofu. I asked to kick up the spice a notch and was not disappointed!! We live in Cambria and this is WELL WORTH the drive!! Thank you!!

I used to love love love my Thai. I love their service and their team. But the cooking has changed and the taste I couldn’t even finish my food. This has been going on for the last two or three months. I am hoping their team reads this and change their chef because I spend a lot of money to get food that does not taste very good and is Inedible.

I had the best thai tea I've ever had here! The pad thai with chicken was yummy and the tom yum soup was fresh and spicy. Great outdoor space right next to the train station so there's plenty of parking about.

Pretty decent thai food, I like the noodles and the tuna tartare appetizer is decadent! Definitely try the tuna- you won't regret it! Flavors are lacking a bit in most dishes. Curries are way too thin/watery and not spiced well enough in my opinion so I avoid those.

Have dined here 10+ times and the food and service are never short of wonderful.

Great outdoor patio with heaters. I had the panang curry with shrimp & the Hawaiian fried rice. Both were absolutely fantastic! The service was great and quick. I highly recommend My Thai.

This place is terrible. The Pad Thai is dry and flavorless. The curry has dill in it. I would not recommend, and will not be back. I guess places like this stay in business because of the Cal Poly kids.

This place has some really flavorful thai food.

We had the tom yum soup, panang curry, cashew stir fry, garlic and pepper chicken and green beans chicken and each one of these items was great. Their portions are large and we had a tough time finishing it all.

The only small nit is the tom yum soup only has mushrooms in it and we are habitual to other veggies like broccoli, carrots etc.

The service is good too and they have a large seating area which works well in covid times

Highly recommended.

Friendly, prompt service and delicious food. They do my favorite Pad Thai in all of SLO (their coconut shrimp is also wonderful). Their only demerit is being closed on Tuesday (when I seem to want their food the most).

We are huge fans of Thai and were excited to try this restaurant. The service was good. We ordered Tom Kha and Pad Thai for take out. The food wasn’t bad, but didn’t have much flavor.

The food was excellent. Buddha rolls filled with lettuce & fresh veggies (not rice noodles), Tom ka soup that was creamy but bright, one of the best green curry dishes I’ve ever had. Pleasant space too.

Really one of the best foods

So I have enjoyed several entre here but my favorite so far for lunch is Yellow Chicken Curry, spice level "pet mot" or native level spicy. Done well it is the perfect level heat and flavor. However if you are not into spicy food, medium is still plenty enjoyable.

Nice location near the railroad station. Large patio for outdoor dining. Attentive staff and great variety of menu options, including lunch specials. Furnishings and outdoor maintenance were mediocre, which can be a cause for general cleanliness concern, however the restroom, bar and visable prep areas were immaculate.

Me and my friends went to My Thai on Friday evening around 8:45PM
Waitress was nice and told us before hand that we need to order everything at once as it was almost closing time.

We ordered fried rice and couple of starters.

Vegetarian wraps were really good and highly recommended. It comes with 2 dips and both of them were good.

Veg and chicken fried rice was good but rice was a bit undercooked. You could taste the hardness while eating. My friend asked for extra spicy and chef did accommodate our request.

Food is good . No hygiene issues.
Recommended for casual dining.
Be their on time and do not go near closing time.

I love Thai food, and this is the best on the Central Coast.

The food was amazing, I had the sesame chicken salad and she had some noodles with chicken in it. Both were amazing and the Thai tea she had was amazing. Well worth the prices which aren't that bad!
