Drunken noodles and shrimp fried rice are very good. Green chicken curry is good too, make sure you can handle the spice level. Their portions are very nice. Quick and friendly service. Definitely recommend this authentic Thai place.

Food was absolutely delicious! We ordered papaya salad, panang curry and basil spicy fried rice. We will definitely be back. My only complaint is that they switched from a traditional song to Taylor Swift and something else that had some inappropriate lyrics.

This was my first time ordering from Palm Thai Cafe. I discovered them through DoorDash. I have a lot of intolerances. I called them just to make sure that they read my order notes to avoid certain vegetables in my order. The young lady assured me that there would be no cross contamination with my food. And the food was picked up rather quickly after that. And was delivered within 20 minutes. I love the way that they packaged the plate of drunken noodles. The container kept the food really warm and fresh. The drink was very cold and tasty. Not too sweet. They did a great job answering my questions over the phone. The food was delivered in a timely fashion; it looked and tasted great. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

It had a tanginess from the like juice, crunchiness from peanuts and bean sprouts, and spiciness from the level of spicy you choose when you order.

The tofu egg rolls were also great and came with a sweet peanut sauce for dipping.

The shrimp tempura come with a sweet and sour sauce.

There's also self serve water dispenser if you want water and you can buy Thai tea/coffee and bottled and canned soft drinks.

So disappointed today, not sure who the lady is behind the counter was charging me extra for light ice on their iced coffee.
The past couple times the cups have been full of ice and I don’t complain and I still pay.
I literally come here every other day for this coffee As a regular customer.
Have never been charged extra for light ice, so ridiculous.

Yellow Curry was super good along with the white rice. I also got a Thai Tea and it definitely hit the spot.

Wow! What a great find. It’s a lowkey, local spot, mom-and-popish but the food is delicious!!!!! Hands down some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while. The drunken noodle and the pad see ew were so tasty and I highly recommend. My regular go to spot was Banh Thai but now that I moved to Chula Vista I’ll be coming here more often. They keep the place very clean as well.

Solid food, very friendly staff, everything was hot, fresh and spiced per the order. Was ready right when they estimated so didn’t have to wait. They do curries and noodles as well as anywhere in SD or the Bay Area at a fair price. Hoping they are able to succeed in this spot, it’s nice to have a good Thai option in the neighborhood without having to go to IB or new Chula Vista!

Quality Thai food that tastes great!! It’s a minute drive away from Kaiser Otay and I’ve found myself stopping by after my appointments for lunch or for a Thai tea. For the $5, the size they offer their teas are a good price. All the times I’ve been here, service has been great and friendly. Plus points for always playing a throwback RnB music playlist. Parking is seamless and never an issue here.

I was either super hungry or this was dang fantastic, because I couldn't stop eating. I had the Yellow curry Chicken. We also had the Red Tofu, Tom Yam/Kha. Everything was very well seasoned and spice level was right on. I especially liked that the meat was well trimmed of fat or stringy pieces. We are thankful for a closer location of a Thai place with very good food. The last photo almost empty as I couldn't stop eating before the review post!

I think I found a gem! I have been craving Thai food since 2019 when I was still in college and covid barely began. I hated that the nearest places were 30 min away and now here’s one just a couple minutes away!!

I highly recommend the Thai iced tea! The flavor and balance is amazing. The boba could be improved in flavor (it didn’t taste like sugar/brown sugar), but it was a nice texture. The dumpling are very good too! Nice and crispy and flavorful.
