I got a salad and the Pad Thai and could not have been more pleased with the freshness and flavor. The restaurant was small, but not too crowded or loud. My wife and I could have an easy conversation and both agreed this was great food! This is a late review, as it was over a year ago when we were here. If we are back in the area, this will be a place we WILL stop to eat.

Bamboo Thai Bistro in Redondo Beach is absolutely amazing! The service is consistently incredible, and my server always remembers my love for extra heat—talk about personalized attention! My go-to dish is the Chicken Basil, which is always fresh and flavorful. I’ve also tried their red and yellow curries and the Papaya Salad—everything is absolutely delicious and packed with the perfect amount of spice. If you love authentic, bold, and spicy Thai food paired with top-notch service, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

If I could I would give this place zero stars, I ordered to go but I wanted to eat in house I only asked for a plate and the server got mad telling me you're ordering it to go you are supposed to eat it outside what does that mean. I ignored it strike one, there were no utensils in the bag so I asked for utensils and she started shouting at me that you have utensils I showed her the bag and she just took it and ran with it. I've asked for a refund and without no apologies they just threw the money on my face which is cool too. Never coming back here again Don't come back here soggy food and bad attitude

Bamboo Thai Bistro is a terrific neighborhood Thai restaurant in North Redondo. Parking is easy as they have their own lot and there is street parking. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Just tell them make the sauce vegan, and it’s perfect everytime. My favorite is their spicy basil eggplant with extra eggplant instead of protein! And their Fresh Rolls are VERY good.

I love this place. Everything is delicious. Price is really good. I have never tried anything I dislike. Sticky rice with mango is my favorite dessert there.

The lemongrass soup with chicken is full flavored and very abundant in protein. Great local Thai food takeout.

Delicious quality food at a reasonable price and quantity, friendly service. Brown rice is 3 bucks extra, not too bad, reasonable portion. I’ll definitely be returning and am glad for the find.

Hmm one would think that la is pretty competitive but this is no Thai food I spend more time in Thailand than the US and you can get decent Thai most places but not here soz

Today I came for the 2nd time, excellent service, I ordered a Tom kha and steamed dumplings, both delicious but definitely the star of my night was the dessert!! Today I tried mango sticky rice for the first time and WOW!! It's my new favorite dessert ever!! I recommend it 100%!!

The food is great, they are the only Thai restaurant we know of around here with sticky rice so we keep coming back. A bit pricey though. I think the serving size is a little bigger eating in then if you takeout.. so we try to eat in more

This small restaurant has a friendly staff, a good menu variety and well prepared food. A good neighborhood restaurant. It does close on the early side.

Love the food. The sound was a little sweet for my pallet, but then again, what can you expect from a "coconut" cream soup? I mean, it's in the name, basically. But the restaurant was very clean, the ambiance was quiet, and the people were friendly.

Purchased the orange chicken, online order. The orange sauce was quite good, fresh, and made from scratch. However, the chicken wasn't crispy. The entree doesn't come with rice. I'm not sure why that wasn't explicitly mentioned. Rice isn't that expensive to include in a dish that is $15.99

I did take out, order was fresh spring rolls and wings . 9/10 !!!! I wasnt a big fan of the tangy orange flavored spicy sauce on the wing but it was still delish . It was just different to me. I loved that i got 6 spring rolls for 14$ and a good big portion of the peanut sauce.Delicious!!! I will most definitely be returning.

We enjoyed all the food, garlic green bean stir-fry with beef, orange chicken, brown rice, yellow curry and the Thai tea. We didn't try the Pad Thai because of some negative reviews even though that's usually my first choice at Thai restaurants. Maybe next time.
The service was very nice too.
Only thing is, rice is a la carte and if you ask for no ice in non-refill drinks they charge 50c extra.

I have been ordering the Thai coconut soup here a few times. I have to say that I am disappointed. There isn't much flavor to the soup, and the chicken comes out so overcooked it's dry. In the past, I've really enjoyed their Thai food here, but recently, it seems the quality has gone down.

I went to this place after seeing multiple positive reviews. I ordered Drunken Noodles with shrimp and requested it spicy. The noodles were really bland. The shrimp were completely undercooked. I had to request them to recook the shrimp. I also tasted dirt in my food. Very disappointing food.

1st time here and our waiter was very helpful in recommendations, which I appreciated a lot. He brought us water right away and was attentive. We ordered the appetizer chicken wing . It was not spicy, it was sooo good, my 12 yr old daughter was able to eat some. We ordered the pad Thai mixed and vegetables mixed, glass noodles soup, also white rice. Everything was tasty!

Our "go to" favorite when in the mood for Thai food. Always enjoy their coconut soup, curries, orange chicken, and of course their mango and sticky rice for dessert!

Service was friendly and the place was busy on Saturday evening for dinner. We had the vegetarian pad Thai. It was Ok. A little steep for the quality . We’ve had pad Thais in Thailand and all over the world , this was a large portion but the taste was so so .

This is the best Thai cuisine I’ve had in a long time. Their pineapple curry was absolutely delicious! We also go the mango sticky rice, which was also supremely scrumptious! I recommend anyone who likes Thai food to go here. The staff is very polite and accommodating. The prices are a little high but I feel it’s totally worth it!

Excellent pad thai

Sad to see this place go downhill. Pad Thai was wet and soggy with hardly any taste. Chinese broccoli with roast pork was disappointing. The broccoli was old and tough. The pork was hard and dry. Green curry was lacking curry taste. I don’t know what happened as this place was decent before.

I love the Spicy Basil eggplant. One of my favorite all time food in the world. It's savory, Spice and sweet, amazing with shrimp the Orange chicken. Is so good here, my husband favorite food. I get food here all the time, though this last time I ordered veggie soup and wonton’s, I have to say I was disappointed because this time around my soup had yellow gunk at the bottom… and the wontons were over fried. I do have to say this was one bad experience over all the other good ones I have had so I will still say you have to try this place out. Staff is very friendly!

Shrimp fresh rolls are my normal snack to go from here. The sauce is out of this world and the rolls are always fresh. Everything on the menu is great; my other go-tos for meals include the coconut soup with shrimp, pumpkin curry, pad see ew... oh my gosh and the mango sticky rice is DELICIOUSSSSSSS.

I was very glad to remember the place after waiting for a tow truck early afternoon to replace a flat rear tire on the car rental at a strip mall along Hawthorne Blvd. next to the south exit ramp from the 405 freeway. Anyway, my late lunch was composed of steamed dumplings (gyoza), wonton broth (large in a vat, yet charged as small), ginger chicken without bell pepper & steamed rice.

The soups are excellent

We shared 3 main dishes chicken, vegetables and broad noodles also a beef garlic with noodles and a all vegetable dish. We had them medium not spicy with rice! Good food and a pleasant open seating area!

I haven't been to this place in 10++ years due to Deplpoyments . Good to see that the food is 5 star service 5 star cleanliness 5 star. I would recommend this place certainly.

Good food, not super expensive. Mango and sticky rice! Garlic rice! Wontons are only good with the sauce, which is too high on it's own for Ms. No Spicy, but fine in tiny amounts, Glass noodle soup was yummy without cilantro, banana thingies were definitely prepared earlier and whatever wasn't fried was cold. Overall yummy!

The food tasted as expected and the quantities are as expected, I ordered the pineapple curry, pineapple rice, and the coconut soup. All was good, I wish the soup was a bit stronger in flavor but all in all good. The drink selection is lacking but not enough for me to take a star off.

Came to visit and stopped here to eat. Big fan of curry, and I gotta say..it was amazing. Food didn't take long and tasted really good. If you are/arent a fan spicy food you can tell them what lvl of spice u like (this goes for any and all meals--convienient, right?)

Bamboo Thai Bistro has become my go-to for Thai so much so that I ate here three times in the past 18 days but they've been around for many years. I've done delivery, take-out and I've dined in many times. No complaints about the service although last night they did get my order wrong. I ordered the Pineapple curry and they gave me the Pumpkin curry instead. They tried to correct it but it was so delicious that it was a blessing.

It's a decent place for kids because they have booster seats and high chairs. My daughter likes anything noodles. As for food, we've had the drunken noodles, pad see ew, the wonton soup, Tom Kah, spare ribs, spinach with peanut sauce and many curries. I look forward to trying the Pineapple curry.

Pass on the mochi, coconut soup was good, drunken noodles were no where near spicy to be a level 3/4. After a long day without eating, and a google search later for something yummy, we could have saved our hunger a little longer

I love this place! The pumpkin curry is outstanding, and I love that they will do it with steamed tofu which soaks up all the delicious flavors. The pad kee mao is excellent, as is the edamame, and portions are generous. I was super impressed with the fresh rolls, which they’ll do with tofu (steamed) even though it isn’t on the menu. It’s a massive portion and the peanut sauce is outstanding! I haven’t tried anything else because these Things are so good I keep going back for them. I also like that they do their own delivery which is pretty rare these days. The only downside is that they charge extra for rice with your curry, but that isn’t atypical in Redondo. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed!

One of my favorite Thai spots! If I'm in the area, I stop in. I ordered food tonight then sat in my car while waiting for my order. 10 minutes later, they graciously walked my food out to my car! Love the yellow curry and pad thai. Lunch special is the BEST!

I wish there were more vegan/ vegetarian options, especially with traditional dishes. As a person of Thai descent- I know this really isn’t difficult by any means due to the nature of how Thai food is prepared. Many noodle, stir fry and curry dishes are easily modified with mushroom sauce, and veggie broth. Its even less expensive in most cases and saves resources indefinitely. Your company has such a perfect location and beautiful atmosphere, I’d probably go there once a week if there were more veggie friendly options.

Food was junk-chicken satay is very dry and lacks flavor. Also got the drunken noodle (which says spicy), and they weren't spicy at all, and the portion was just a few bites-a little small. Won't be trying this place again.
