Diner Review №1

Unbelievably and Undeniably the best place for my favorite pad Thai addiction, literally just heavenly in every way , .. tasty meat, noodles weren't all stuck together like a dry industry mop , spiced just right and one can taste the whole meal with every other bite ... Great portion ,

Greeted by friendly staff, I ordered take out and it was ready within 15 mins. Impressed with the packing to avoid food getting soggy.

Tried the chicken satay (which was too dry and chewy, wouldn’t recommend) and pad prig king rice with shrimps ( Very delicious and lots of flavor)

Diner Review №3

First time ever we got very watery curries with no Thai taste and burnt oil smell in the food. I would not recommend this place.

Diner Review №4

When you walk in, you notice a clean and fun atmosphere with friendly staff greeting you. When you order, you see a well-priced and diverse menu with diet and vegetarian-friendly options. And when you eat, you realize how delicious and fresh their food is.

Every time I eat at Eat Thai or order for pickup the staff is great and the food is splendid. Out of the dozen or so Thai places I've tried, Eat Thai stands out.

A great place overall. Please support the lovely staff and owners!

The chicken panang followed by this piece of heaven; mango with sticky rice. Mmmmm.
Came again for green curry, also excellent. Could not pass up the mango with sticky rice again. It is phenomenal

Very pleasant experience

Great food and very nice people. The restaurant is also very suitable for vegetarians.

The restaurant is quite open and spacious. Nice ambience.

The service was really nice.

Would highly recommend this place.

Great Thai food. My first one near San Ramon are. I ordered from this place through uber eats. The foods were amazing. Loved their samosa, it is very unique and I never had it from a Thai place before. Highly recommended. The masaman and red curries are tasty too, very authentic tasting.

Diner Review №15

I ordered through DoorDash. The food came quickly and was delicious. Having spent a significant amount of time in Thailand, I am accustomed to the spicyness of the food from there. It has been difficult to find true Thai-spicy food here. I asked for the food to be Thai spicy, and Eathai delivered... it was phenomenal. They even wrote me a note indicating they made the dish as spicy as they could. Great job!

Diner Review №16

This was the closest thing that popped up when we were looking for food after 9pm.
We ordered the following items

Fried tofu -- peanut sauce and sweet chilli sauce provided was ok but tofu still needs salt & paper.
Pad Thai -- Although the sauce was vegetarian, it still had some fishy smell which made it difficult to eat.

Ordered on UberEats recently. Green and yellow curries are VERY good here!

Diner Review №19

Bad food. New owners. All onions. All profit. No flavor. Small portions. No meat. All onions. No veggies. All o icons.

Diner Review №20

Great authentic Thai foods. Delicious! Love the beef salad very much!

Diner Review №21

I love spice, so I asked them to make my Basil Pork spicier than they had ever made any dish. They came through with the hottest Thai dish I have ever had. Well done, my lips are still a little numb!

Diner Review №22

Benn there many times, last visit was a good experience, food was excellent and SIngha beer went perfect with food.

Diner Review №23

Just tried the pad kee mao and it was delish. People are extremely friendly. Place is comfortable, cozy, and quiet.

Diner Review №24

Good food. Good service

Diner Review №25

Awesome!

I-saan sausage is hard to find and not only does Eathai have it, it's really good. They're one of the few places in town that have Khao Soi on the menu as well. It's hard to find Chiang Mai specialties, let alone have them taste this great.

Fast service great food cool environment

Diner Review №30

The Thai ice tea is so good! Pork barbeque is great. Plus The place is so classy and cozy.

Diner Review №31

Food was ok. But the waiter missed two of our orders and when we pointed it out and said we didn't need the extra items since we had already eaten; he added included gratuity to the bill, even though we were only a party of 4. Very sneaky. I would recommend the food, the service was not honest. Also the prices are expensive for Thai. (Reply below is also false in addition to being creepy. Two item were missed not one, even though the waiter only wrote one down. Also when is 5 people considered automatic gratuity, especially when one is a < 3 year old child?).

Diner Review №33

Ambience is good, but food is not up to the mark. Very expensive in comparison to quantity and quality. Not worthy of the money you pay. There are other better options in Dublin, Livermore and Tracy. I will never go to this place again.

Diner Review №34

Great food and service! Enjoyable atmosphere for dine-in and I've had good experiences with takeout too. Their Fried Banana with Ice Cream is highly recommended!

Good atmosphere inside (renovated). It is hard to guess how it looks inside looking from outside.

Diner Review №38

Nothing special

Diner Review №39

Very quiet and chill restaurant. The service and food are great especially the Mango Sticky Rice😋

Diner Review №40

Placed a take away order and clearly mentioned vegetarian with no egg and we ended up getting chicken in our curry after a really abnormally long wait... the manager was apologetic but didn't offer to make it up... essentially, it messed up our dinner and appetite.... 2 stars coz there is no sense of accountability from the restaurant when they screwup . Everyone makes mistakes but the customers can't take a brunt

Diner Review №41

Ambiance and spacious

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Diner Review №44

Very expensive and quantity of food is not much.

Diner Review №45

Had ordered from Uber eats. The portion sizes are very small compared to what they charged and what other restaurants offer.

Green curry fried was not flavorful and didn't have enough sauce. They charged 3$ extra for shrimps but there were only 2-3 medium shrimps

Diner Review №46

Autentik and tasty with many options

Diner Review №47

Amazing great food!!!!
Especially Tom Yum and Pad See Ew

Diner Review №49

This place is honestly something special, even from when you first walk in. It's like a boutique experience of a Thai restaurant, and it feels warm and welcoming.

The service was on point, with the staff being incredibly nice and respectful the whole time. We ended up showing up pretty late, but they had no issues with allowing us to stay after closing time. As the chefs were leaving, they each bowed respectfully, wishing us a great night and telling us how they'd hoped the food tasted great. It's hands-down the best service I've ever received at a Thai restaurant.

The food was also excellent, and I was surprised (and pleased) with the presentation of the food. Everything from the little napkin flower they used to cover the straws on our Thai Iced tea, to the flame-centered serving bowl for our Tom Yum, was highly appreciated, and really enhanced the meal.

My favorite dishes were the Papaya Salad and the Tom Yum soup (mentioned before). You also HAVE to try the Thai samosas, I could eat them everyday. So good.

We will definitely be back. The service and food were simply excellent.

Absolutely fantastic, delicious food. Especially garlic noodles (best served spricy). It's my new favorite in Pleasanton. 👍

Diner Review №52

Delish food...small portions.

Diner Review №53

Tried it out for the first time on Friday. So good! Portions where large and TONS of vegetarian options (and I'm certain of vegan options as well). Inside of the restaurant is beautiful as well -- will post more next time I go. I ordered the Thai noodle soup.

Diner Review №54

Delightful restaurant with really great food.
We really enjoyed our meal at Eathi Pleasanton. The place has great ambiance with a modern cafe flair. The food is clean and tasty. I really appreciate that they embrace vegetarians, with a ton of veggie options. They allow you to choose from no spice to danger level. I had medium and it had a nice slow burn but was not too hot. We’ll be back soon.

Diner Review №66

Really cute restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Feels like being in someone's home, the decor and staff are so nice and friendly and open. The food is good as well. I got the Basil Fried Rice with Duck and it was pretty good. Highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №68

Not bad, but nothing to get excited about

Diner Review №69

Food was decent, and delivery was quick. However, the portion sizes were very small. I'm not sure how it compares to dine in service, but on both occasions ordering from this particular restaurant, the Pad Thai portions are child sized, and yet the price is a bit high. My husband paid $13.00 for his Pork Pad Thai, but was not near satisfied with the quantity of food.
Though the food is good, I'm not sure we will order again.

Diner Review №71

Excellent option for vegetarian Thai dishes
Definitely prefer this restaurant over the vegan place next door

Portion sizes were good enough and the chef understands vegetarianism. Even when we ordered a dish that contains egg, they re-confirmed with us. Not many Thai restaurants do that. Thumbs up to Eathai

Diner Review №87

Good quality food but the portion size is very small. We ordered veg. The other Thai restaurant in san mateo if u order rice then one bowl was good for 2 ppl but here one is just enough for 1 person. Even the quantity of pad kee mow was just enough for 1 while other places we have went the quantity was good enough for 2 to share..
Quality 5/5 quantity 3/5..

This has by far been the best Thai restaurant I have been to for Yellow Curry. Their yellow curry here is not only Vegan it is delicious and not too small in size. The meal is well cooked and the place is nice and clean. I also had no problem with the staff here either. I highly recommend and will definitely be going here again! :D

Diner Review №90

Slow service especially for take away. Ordered online and waited a total of an hour for the food. Served many customers before me and honestly this place completely mistreated me and would never recommend it to anyone. Just go to Thai Basil Express in Dublin if you ask me.

Stopped in for lunch today with some co-workers and we all were geniunely impressed with this new Thai restaurant in Pleasanton. Dishes were tasty and had just the right level of heat to keep us wanting more. We tried several dishes e.g., Thai Fried Rice with Chicken, Basil Chili Chicken, Eggplant, Curry and more. Good menu with a variety of dishes for all Thai food lovers The service was excellent and very attentive. Will definitely be back for more.
