WE OFFER AND AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD AND ASIAN FUSION FOOD. OUR FAMILY RECIPE HAS BEEN POPULAR IN BANGKOK THAILAND. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON
This is top notch Thai food, The food is amazing and the service is awesome. I absolutely love the Tom Yum! The drunken noodles were a little too spicy even though it was supposed to be mild. It still tasted very good. I love Thai food because there's an explosion of flavors. The price is around the $20 mark for a single dish. Definitely worth eating here. Highly recommend.
We went here for a late dinner with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes that we all shared so we could maximize the amount of items to try, and have enough to eat as well. The food quality was good and yummy. Everyone enjoyed eating here. If you are looking for Thai food then try here.
I ordered the chef special Hat Yai with steam rice, Thai wings and Tom ka veggie soup(s) all the food was amazing! Thr chicken was plump and succulent and juicy. The wings were so sweet and spicy. Very flavorful the Cole slaw cabbage was refreshing with the wings. The soup was sooooo good. So many veggies and it was filling enough to share for a small portion. This place is a Must if your on Colorado and crave some fresh Thai food.
Under a new management, the old town Fair Oaks Thai placea has a new face lift and more selective items. The service was great and with friendly staffs who recommended what we've ordered.
What set them apart from the other hundreds of Thai restaurants is their pork BBQ with sticky rice. The sticky rice is unlike the sweet mango sticky rice and surprisingly addictive to eat. The pork with the sauce is savory and sweet, which went well with the sticky rice.
The Shrimp Tom Yum soup was not as sour or spicy than other place and honestly, just the way I like it. They were generous with the shrimp.
We also ordered the drunken noodles which we couldn't stop taking one bite after another. It went really well with the dry chili powder that we requested separately.
The atmosphere gives an intimate modern vibe, so don't be mistaken for them being closed.
Overall, we can see ourselves coming back for more. The food are reasonably priced for old town Pasadena and the location is just convenient for us who lives here.
Went on a Sunday right when they opened. There was no wait. We ordered the chicken curry, chicken chowmein, and the Hat Yai chicken and got free egg rolls.
The egg rolls were crunchy, flavorful, and hot. Definitely recommend.
The hat yai chicken was delicious and deep fried. The crunchy batter on the outside had a sweet taste to it that paired well with the chicken. Also recommend this dish, especially since you can share it within 2 people, maybe even 3.
The chowmein was okay, not superb but not bad either. It is a good portion and feeds 2 people.
The curry was not my favorite. It looked more like soup, was very runny, and did not have the smooth, spicy flavor I like. It was more tangy and a bit sour to my taste. Definitely do not recommend this dish.
Overall, the service was great. The waiters kept checking in on us. Oh and the Thai tea is great.
This was my first time eating here. We were recommended by our son and daughter-in-law. All I can say is that we were not disappointed! Everything was fantastic! The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
A good place
Rating should be 3/5. Great service and decent food. I got the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli, the papaya salad and the drunken noodles. My favorite was the papaya salad. Very attentive staff and large food portions.
Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Great with kids, too.
Can do vegan! Beef BBQ was a hit with my mate. Excellent service as well. Love this new version, perhaps new owners or mgmt from previous thai restaurant that was here. Give this place your business!!!
This was my first time eating here. We were recommended by our son and daughter-in-law. All I can say is that we were not disappointed! Everything was fantastic! The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. This restaurant should actually be closer to a 4.6
Great location for lunch in the Pasadena area!
It's super convenient for me and my co workers and we usually come here when we are hankering for a sit down meal of Thai food. Plus, if you come during lunch during their happy hour, you get a free egg roll and drink with your entrée purchase! Their Thai tea and green Thai tea are both very sweet, so you might want to ask for less sweetener, but I like it, so no changes for me there!
I have been coming here a few years, hands down my favorite curry of theirs is the ruby curry, their portion decent that I sometimes can't finish it. I like more sweet curries, and this one hits all the right spots! There's plenty of vegetables and bell peppers with the cheaper options of chicken, veggie, tofu and then also beef and shrimp for an uncharge.
Service is friendly and pretty quick, as there usually not too much of a wait for everyone in our party to get their meals! For about 20$usd (including tax and tip and time of this review) I think is a reasonable price for a sit down meal in Pasadena!
Will continue to come here as long as I still find myself in the area wanting Thai food during lunch. There is a large parking structure on Green st (one way steet) and Fair Oaks, connected to the same block building as Moom Thai, so pretty easy parking, as you go downstairs of the Green St exit and it's just around the corner!
Excellent !
It's really good. I ordered the Tom Yum with chicken.
So good! Best chicken khao soi I have ever had! Very well priced. Restrooms super clean. Great location.
The worst customer service.
Great food
AMAZING Khao Soi beef. They were super respectful even though we came in right before closing. Hope to go again soon

Very spacious and clean. Used to come here when it was City Thai. Good service. Lots of open space inside- don't feel crowded or close to others.
All the tables are somehow broken/shaking. And theres a very rude male server…
Rudest service ever. No wonder no one come to this restaurant. The server and cashier no bare minimum mannner. All they give you is stare eyes . If you have no basic manner education don’t come out do businesses.
The place is super clean and nice inside, food lacks in flavor, and customer service is the worst, server had a attitude problem with us the entire time we were here never smiled or interacted with us. He just ruined our experience and I will not be coming back.
Food was great and the atmosphere is nice. Servers weren't very friendly
Awesome. Spot Great food and service. Love their Ruby Curry.
Awesome place with great staff and real delicious food!
Recommended!!!
The Tom Kha soup is great! The most authentic Thai food in Pasadena
Hello there I usually go to the My Vegan to have this kind of ties there and it's very good because I've eaten almost everything on the My Vegan menu. But I wanted to try something different in the new place and I ordered the drunken noodles which is actually nothing more than Pad Se Ew.
I'm including a photo of how oily this dish is..that reflection you see on the bottom of the dishe is pure oil. Yuk - It's a very greasy noodle dish and it should not be greasy and even though it had bell peppers in it and some other minor vegetables, the tofu wasn't as good as My Vegan and the entire dish is not anywhere near as good as My Vegan. In fact, I'm afraid to try their pad Thai because I'm afraid it's not gonna be good as My Vegan's pad Thai but I will just to be able to compare them. I was told to leave instructions not to use fish or oyster sauce as I wanted it vegan...well I have to swim through this oil in order to eat this food so I'll definitely never ordering it again. This was my first attempt at going to a new Thai place in a long time and it was a bomb - -meaning a bad bomb, not a good one. it simply wasn't flavorful at all.
Great lunch special - egg roll and tea with meal. Great sauce and wide noodles on the drunken noodles which I got with tasty chunks of tofu, a different mushroom dish had a lot more onion than mushroom.
This place is below average. The food was mediocre and the staff as well. I had a impromptu lunch with a daily large group of my family and servers didn’t serve with a smile unfortunately.
No chill
It's just so average. The seasoning was lackluster. The service was un energetic and just sad. Sadly, this place felt like a Thai place I would expect in the midwest. If you're in the 626 area, there's so many other options for thai restaurants. This is definitely not one of mine.
Ordered shrimp wonton soup and seafod pad thai. The soup tasted like 💧 water. When I asked for the standard seasoning (sambal hot sauce, pickled pepper, etc) I was given sambal packets and a small small portion of the pickled pepper. Maybe the protocol changed because of COVID, but other Thai places I've been to since COVID was not as stingy. Even the glass of wine was half poured. An overall disappointing experience.
Food was okay, not close to Hollywood Thai quality. Pricing is high probably due to Old Town location. Pass.

Great tasting food! Well prepared food!
My new favorite Thai place. Try the seafood as your protein choice for say Pad Thai. You will be shocked at how fresh it actually is. Tasted as if the mussels were caught right before cooking. That fresh. A place that takes effort and care into every dish they serve.
The food is fresh and delicious
First off, we THOUGHT being in a high-end area, the food would be delicious. I ordered brown rice with nuts and veggies added chicken. My husband had some beef with egg noodles. He VOMITED EVERYTHING when we got home. FOOD POISONING!!!! We were on a lovely date night and ended up sad! Screw this place!!! The service and staff were super UNFRIENDLY. For that little food, we paid about $85
Really good Thai food
The beaf was over cooked , all food with a loooot of sugar, by the way , you must learn a lot of knowledges about the cash , because they never see the brand new A Hundred US dollar . I gave them a fresh new 2013 printed cash , after almost 1 Hour, when I across in front of the restaurant, they ask me to change another cash , and the reason was, they never saw it before . 😅😅
It’s not the Thai food we usually had, taste sweet of every dish, very sweet….and the service need improvement!
We ate the fried chicken - mine was battered. Great! Crispy crust and tender meat, with rice.
Food is really good, and it's quiet enough for date night conversation or a family to enjoy a night out. Sometimes, you have to raise your hand to get their attention, but they have been prompt and polite when they come over.
This special grilled bbq chicken is out of this world with the scallion sauce. And my wife is a mango Sticky rice connoisseur, this is her favorite place. Especially in house. From the basics to the pork belly specialties. I'm definitely a regular.
The food was so good. And it came so fast.
Sat in the restaurant for quite some time with absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff
They sat us and ignored us
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentative. The service is quick. Went here with my boyfriend on a date night a few weeks ago and have been hooked since. We've come back three times, and each time was phenomenal. The Tom Yum soup and Larb Kai are beyond delicious. We also enjoyed the spicy Thai fried rice and chicken skewers. Their peanut sauce is to die for. They charge for extra but its only 25 cents. Can't wait to go back again!
I really like this place. One of the best Thai restaurants in East of downtown.
Very friendly staff, yummy food
Parking validation available

We visited this place several times before going to the movies. The food is really good. Yet, this las time the service was not great and the salad too sweet.
Usually is kinda empty, but the services was really nice. This time was kinda busy and service not great. They also increase their prices significantly.
My new go-to place for my Pad Thai cravings. Plenty of seating is available.
Fist time. Pretty good. I rarely give 5, and on the first visit.
Good fried chicken
Good food. No wait time. Parking is next door with 90 minutes free parking. We enjoyed their spring rolls, yellow curry, pad see ew, and fried rice. The prices are above average. Staff was extra friendly and made sure that we had cold mugs at all times for our "Chang",
Came at 11am when they opened, and actually didn't have anyone else show up until after we left, so service was pretty fast. Tried the golden tofu appetizer and I was a bit surprised, because I wasn't expecting it to be hollow on the inside with a very mochi tasting flavor; but I did like the sauce that came with it. For the main dish, I had the red curry and I was quite happy with it as the medium spicy level was just right for me, as I am not a super spicy fiend. The lunchtime happy hour is a nice bonus, since you get a free drink and some eggrolls. Overall, tasty food and good service, definitely would recommend!
Great food !!!! Fresh and a clean place. Tom is very genuine and super attentive. I enjoyed a lot !!!
Service was good as was the food. Only slight problem the food wasn't as HOT when served..I did tell waitress.. Told her we'd be back.. Used to be City Thai my favorite of all time but pandemic shut them down.
The food was exceptional! Best spicey eggplant 🍆 ❤
Food was delicious and came out fast. Service was fast and the staff were very kind. Would definitely go again and recommend going.
Great speed, food was delicious! The waiter was friendly and helped our every need. Definitely would come again if I wasn’t on vacation!
New ownership? I love everything here.
Our first visit. Great food, wonderful service, and the atmosphere was beautiful.
Serendipity!!! Delicious food, excellent customer service, chill atmosphere. Highly recommend!
This review is based on the first visit. Of course order Pad Thai with chicken (or Pad See Ew with beef) because that's a good basic dish that every Thai restaurant should do well and then I also ordered a dish that I haven't had before, Crispy Pork Gra Pow. Both were excellent and I think that this made it be the best pork Thai dish I've ever had. Service was excellent, love the ambiance, and will definitely be counting this is one of my top Thai restaurants in Old Town. There are a few to choose from!
I see that the restaurant is under a new management. I wasn’t expecting it to be under a new management when I came in but I decided to give it a shot. The service was great the staff were very nice and welcoming the ambience of the place was nice. The food was okay it wasn't as good as it used to be before the change, the beef was very bland and tasteless and the noodles too, the soup was okay. My overall experience was good and the service was wonderful but I wouldn’t come back here again.
Update: 10/16/2021
We ordered takeout through Uber eats. This experience was awful. My husbands pork tender was very dry and over cooked.
My pad see u, had ZERO sauce or flavor since I asked for no broccoli. Usually they have a lack of flavor, but I enjoy the soft noodles, but this time it wasn’t edible.. rubber like noodles and no flavor.
The service is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is phenomenal! We had wings and pad see ew. Great portion sizes and prices and the cute little cozy restaurant is very clean and quiet. Our new favorite spot while we’re in Pasadena.
Visited here the other day for a casual lunch with a friend. I have several Thai places around the broader Pasadena area that I like a lot, but decided to try this one after I saw that it was under new management (previous place was "City Thai" or something like that). I only tried one of the curries, but it was excellent -- extremely flavorful, with very good texture and high-quality meat (one of my issues with some Thai places). My friend tried a seafood noodle dish and also really enjoyed it. Service was good, as well. I will unquestionably go back here, and if the rest of their menu is as good as the curry I had, this will probably take the top spot in my list of Thai spots in Pasadena! Recommend without hesitation.
All. Of. It. Eat. All. Of. It.
it was aight.
Went here on a whim and it exceeded expectations! Nice spacious seating inside, reasonable prices for amazing quality! Will def be back!
Experienced good food and good service!

Delicious food, excellent service and generous proportions!
Great food!
We stumbled upon this place by chance, but we were very impressed. Given our love for spicy food but having difficulty getting it, we were somewhat concerned. But we were not disappointed. We ordered Thai medium spicy dishes, and they came out just excellent, and the presentation of the dishes was pleasing.
And another nice touch - the restaurant did not use single-use chopsticks. All in all, a very good experience.
