Let’s be clear, This Is A Nice Place. The food was “good” Nothing wrong at all.
I can’t say I was blown away by the food but it wasn’t bad either. I’d go back without a doubt but I’d also be willing to try somewhere else.
I’m a little torn because everything tased good,. the lady serving us was very nice. I thought the amount of food was a bit too little, just a bit.
I thought the price was a little bit high but what isn’t these days? Give it a try. I’d like to know what r else thinks…
Solid Thai spot. Likely the best in the Montrose/La Crescenta area. Very kind staff. Seems like most people do take out! Food was very good, but not great. But very good! We got a mix of items, chicken satay, glass noddles, cashew shrimp, eggplant, and grilled chicken. Some street parking up front. We will be back!!
First time visitor as I was craving some pad see ew and I will definitely be back! This place is privately owned serving authentic Thai food and it is apparent that there are regulars here. The owner is very welcoming and seems to love her regulars. The food is outstanding and the portion is perfect. The Thai iced tea was on point. Prices are appropriate. Absolutely recommend. The only issue is the parking- I had trouble figuring out where to park, as the lot behind it is all reserved for another business. Street parking was available when someone left.
Great food and great service. The lady who runs this place is very friendly and has fabulous energy.
Amazing food. Great service. 10/10!
The food is amazing. Had the Tom Kay noodle with chicken, my husband had the curry and our friend who’s vegan had a delicious tofu dish. Everything tasted great! The only thing is you need to be patient, but if you want great food it takes a little longer to be served. I do think the owner does it all, serve, cook and put to go meals together. Definitely will be back! ❤️
I ordered the Tom yum soup and it looked nothing like the picture. It was all watery infused with too much lemon and I’m not even joking when I say that the soup had only 5 cut pieces of mushroom and 5 pieces of chicken. The service was not all that but the food was very bad and overpriced.

Delicious but pricy

I ordered take out, The person was rude on the phone, she hang up before I finished my sentence, ordered three items, the fried rice beef was the best one, the cibo soup was the Worst, Unlike anything in the menu photos, Maybe three pieces of mushrooms & rest is lemon water, the other item was mediocre, the garlic rice chicken, for a Thai place I'd go try ithers in the area

Hot tie chicken sticks and rodna where the highlights. Very nice inside, fast service and reasonable prices. Enjoyed it very much.

The portions were very small. Food was okay.

불친절 하고 맛도 없었다
Small local Thai restaurant with good food at a good price. Excellent service

Not good. Not good at all. Gotta balance out this high rating. The woman is nice enough but the food tastes stale, bland, and there was grandma’s hair in our to go box. Definitely avoid.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. So fresh, so tasty and made with real care.
Our family has been visiting Angela and her sister, the owners for over 17 years. It's the tastiest food, great prices, excellent service and personal touch. If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out. Great for take out too!
Not Open except for take out yet? Otherwise food good owner friendly and accomodating Would radther dine in. Soon I hope love me a nice Thai lunch and a cold Sing ha!
They use Chicken Breast meat. Fresh noodles, Healthy and Tasty dish. (Pad-See-Ew)
Always a pleasure to stop by for a quick bite or take out. Food is tasty and service is good.
Best ever!!
Best in the West!
Food is very good, and well priced.
Great food. The fried fish is delicious.
Really good food, super sweet lady who owns and runs Cibo and the prices are very fair.
I have eaten at Cibu Thai countless times over the years and I have always received delicious food and excellent service. I recommend anyone to eat there for some of the best Thai food in town!!
Best Thai place I have found if you are going for the great quality and taste of the food; it seems to be homemade.
Delicious, fresh, tasty! Was looking for a new then place. And my neighbor invited me to check it out with her, and now it's my new face local spot. It's quiet, low key, and clean. The food was great. I like the pad see yew. Absolutely great. You can also order take out which is always a plus.
Clean, heathy, tasty, inexpensive Thai food!
Food is tolerable, but 90 minutes is too long to wait for the entrees to be served. A meal in a fast casual restaurant shouldn't last 2 and a half hours. This meal was definitely not worth that kind of investment, particularly in such a shaky environment.
Nice dinner with the family.
Tasty place for cernovores or vegetarians
Food is delicious, never a dissapointement and definitely worth the wait!
Really good. I ordered pad see ew definitely will be going soon I ordered from doordash.
Great service, lovely food, and I just love Montrose. It's my favorite Thai place in this area!
I love here
The owner and the food was AMAZING.
Some of the best Thai food I have experienced and vy consistent.
Probably my favorite Thai place in the area. The red curry is Sweet and immensely flavorful. I order it pet ma. She laughs and never quite makes it hot enough. Also a big fan of the pad see ew.
The food is amazing. It does get a bit crowded, but the service makes up for it. There’s this nice lady who runs the place and who I think is the owner. She was very friendly and let us take a bunch of fortune cookies for free! Will definitely come back soon :)
The food is very good in every way but expect a bit of slow service. It seems that the owner is the only person giving service and acting as cashier and busboy. Decor is pretty basic but if you're not in a hurry and don't care about fancy decor then you'll love it!
Very friendly and good service even though I was short 50 cents she served me the food thanks,
Best Thai in Town!!
Inexpensive, filling, and served up by friendly people.
Very good takeout. Of course, it is better in the restaurant.
Amazing, fast, and inexpensive Thai food with a friendly atmosphere. Every time I've ordered take out it's the same happy, polite staff and the same fantastic quality. I recommend the golden tofu to everyone I take here! The sauce it comes with is divine. Haven't been disappointed with anything I've ordered yet! Cibo Thai comes highly recommend not only as an amazing neighborhood hole in the wall, but as a genuinely incredible, little known, piece of Los Angeles best cuisine. I must have driven by thousands of times before I finally decided to stop in, but I am so glad I did! By far one of my favorite local eats!
Just great Thai food at reasonable prices. Not much sit down room but the best for takeout.
I've only ever ordered out from Cibo but it's always been good quality Thai food. I'm not a expert on Thai but this place seems authentic as well.
Update: they don’t deliver anymore.
Best Thai food in the area
Wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. The owner/cook/server is angry and diffident. When I was there, a big party of people and their rude kids were making a huge amount of noise. I had to say something since the owner/cook/server could not have cared less. My order was wrong, then disappeared. Food's good if you can stand the tense atmosphere and 💩 service.
very expensive but the food was good
Great neighborhood spot for traditional Thai dishes.
Food was okay but the service, wow, rude rude rude!
AMAZING THAI. Best in all of LA county hands down. Saladang doesn't even hold a candle to this place. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu-everything is bursting with flavor and sensational texture. My favorite is the phrik khing (make sure to get it extra spicy!)
Only thing I do want to warn about is if it gets busy, get ready to wait. There are only 2 employee's (one doubles as a cook and waiter) so it can get slow. But the quality control is top-notch!
Good curries.
This is a great place for Thai...
Great food at affordable prices! The flavors were amazing!
Tom Kha is the best!
Been driving by for years and have not stopped. Ordered Pad Thai to go tonight. First meal was great. Others from La Crescenta/Montrose should try. Will be back.
Very nice lunch specials
