We came in late on Christmas day and had the best dinner experience at Samata. Sara and her husband Leo run this place all by themselves. I got the Khao Mun Gai which is the Thai version of the Hainanese Chicken Rice. I was mind-blown by the flavor of the rice. So simple, yet so elegant in taste. And the soup that came with it, so light yet rich. My husband got the Tom Yum Udon Soup and he loved it too. Their entire menu looked enticing.

We received a very nice service despite being the last customers of the day. Thank you Sara and Leo. We’ll definitely drop by again.

First time I've had traditional Thai dishes prepared vegan and there was almost no compromise in taste. Four of us ordered four different items and they were all so good and unique in taste and texture.

This place is amazing. We had the Thai iced tea, Tom Yum soup and the Pad See Ew. Everything was delicious. The prices are extremely reasonable. Coming from New York you would never find this quality for Thai food at this price. Looking forward to dine here next time I’m in the area!

The food was great and the service was fairly quick and friendly. Everything on the menu was vegan which was great. The only reason I took off a star was that I had some stomach issues a few hours later. Not sure if it was something in particular I ate but it was definitely something that didn't agree with my stomach that came from here as I didn't eat anything else in between. Other than that, I would recommend thos place and would probably order something else next visit.

The food is delicious and the owner is very friendly. I ordered stir fry with soy chicken and steamed veggies. Everything was brought really fast and tasted great. I also liked how many options for vegan protein was in the menu. Will definitely be stopping there to eat again when I’m in Hollywood area.

Found this place when I was in the area and it was so delicious! We ordered the spring rolls, yakisoba, pad Thai, and Thai tea and everything was good. I haven’t been able to find a vegan pad Thai that tastes good until now! It was so good. Customer service was an A+. Everything was clean. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back:)

Spicy Orange Chicken hits that chicken-adjacent craving

Their pumpkin curry is out of this world!! So rich and incredible. Interesting variety of protein choices (including soy shrimp!) Really good ratio of price to proportion. Got take-out so can't speak on the dining experience but they were pretty timely making all of our food.

Unnecessarily terrible customer service. My first time, I walked in to order egg rolls. The asian girl, wasn’t friendly at all, but I was ordering to-go so I ignored it. I opened the menu, ordered, and paid. I turned to go grab something from my car and the non friendly asian lady said “can you close the menu and put it back where you found it?” I turned around and told her to cancel the order and refund my money, which ironically was when she started being nicer. The unfriendliness was just rude, and unprofessional. Never going back.

This place was awesome. The larb was supposed to be mild and instead blew my head off but it was amazing. The chicken satay? YUM. So many amazing dishes here that I haven’t seen elsewhere in vegan form. Thank you guys!!

Foods are almost superb and Tasty. Its very hard to find in such a small place around Los Angeles, California. That one also full vegan !!! We still not believed yet. Ordered on Postmates and this has to be the worse food that I’ve ordered in LA. It’s like food you’d expect from a $5 buffet where it’s all been under lights for the day and basically all tastes the same. Called up to complain and they put the phone down on me. This nice cozy restaurant is found on the major intersection of sunset and la brea. I’ve ordered from this place through delivery apps so many times and had finally decided to go personally.

They have a large selection of options to choose from so you are definitely going to find something your going to love eating.

Their soup is very well made and tasty.

We also ordered their Pad C ew, vegetable fried rice and orange soy chicken. Everything was great tasting and was brought to our table without much delay.

The best part was when the receipt arrived, it was at the same price and even cheaper than non vegan Thai restaurants like Ocha.

The bonus is the friendly staff, we will be coming back here for sure!

Food is good, but I will not be returning here until they stop using Styrofoam. It shouldn't take a statewide ban to understand how terrible it is for the environment. Vegan but environmentally unconscious is a lame combination.

Very small spot but still excellent. Ordered egg rolls (and burned my mouth on them lol), cashew chicken and a Thai iced tea. I thought it was weird I had to place a separate order for rice since dishes like this usually come with it but it all tasted very well. Did not like that a group seated after me placed their orders before me or the fact that I had to package my own leftovers after I’d seen the server package food for another table.

Orderhero.us is a scam website! I attempted to place an order for pickup and when I got here, the staff said I had been scammed. I had to call my bank and have them dispute the transaction. I don’t blame the restaurant, more I blame Google for allowing fraudulent sites to exist to take people’s money. I hope this gets reported in one way or another.

Great and filling food. Small spot with only a few seats but worth the walk from Hollywood walk of fame. Prices are good especially the lunch special from 11am to 3pm. I had the lunch special Teriyaki Soy Beef (amazing!). If you’re a meat eater just like I am, I recommend this dish. The server is quick to give you the bill which is expect for such a small place. So it’s pretty much eat, digest for 10 minutes then leave.

Plate portion is great for family style dining.

This place was really tasty! We tried the fried tofu, spicy eggplant, and the pad kee mao. All of the dishes were very good-- I would definitely get them again. My server was super friendly and attentive (even asked if I wanted more peanut sauce for my fried tofu, which like never happens). 5-minute walk from Hollywood and Highland. Definitely recommend!!

I went to their website and clicked order online. I ordered and my card was charged. I walked in to pick up my food and was greeted with"what do you want?" I said I was here for pick up and she said"nope no orders here. I showed her my order and she said they dont use that anymore and wouldnt accept the order. I then showed her and her husband the order confirmation and that I was charged for it already she said no and they wouldnt refund my money.
I will NEVER eat here and have told my entire office to not eat here ever! I had to dispute the charge AND I dont have a lunch because of the time they wasted!

We loved our lunch here. The soy beef and pad see-ew lunch specials were both delicious. Very reasonably priced and healthy food in a modest environment. Restaurant manager, Mint, was wonderful to chat with as well, really friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back here when we are back in town!

Closed almost an hour early on a Saturday night. I got there at 9:15pm on Saturday. If you guys close at 10 pm online then close at 10pm.

Everytime I go, I get the worst service and vibe from whom I assume is the owner. No patience to run a business with costumer care. Today I called to order after 4 times that it went to the voicemail someone answered, took my order with no patience and with a bad attitude, then hung up on me. They act like they are giving away the secret to immortality, your food isn't even that good. You just happen to be on my way back home. But not going there anymore, and I will make sure my friends don't either.

I ordered the spring rolls and a tofu appetizer. I generally love spring rolls but these were bitter and just didn't taste like im used to. The tofu appetizer had no seasoning think it wss just air fried the sweet and sour dipping sauce was good but wasn't enough to offset the bland-ness. I will say the 2 people I was with both got different rice dishes and they were delicious.
