Traditional Thai Food and Noodle soups. Open early and late. Get the best that Thailand has to offer.
Thai Central Cuisine in LA offers such amazing Thai food that I wish I could bring it back to Canada! The flavors are authentic and vibrant, making every dish a culinary delight. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries or savory noodles, this place has something for everyone. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai cuisine!
I was looking for a quick lunch while I was out walking my dogs. I was craving Thai food and stumbled upon this place with a few small tables outside. The staff were really friendly and even brought water out for the pets. The menu is extensive and I appreciated the photos of each dish because it helped me order new items I haven’t tried. The food came out quickly and was really good. I recommend!
Went for late lunch on a Thursday with a colleague. Cold and wet weather prompted us to order soups. I ordered the Pork Rib Noodle soup. Got it medium spicy with flat noodles and without shrimp! It was delicious! Mildly sweet and tangy broth with morsels of pork rib meat was well balanced. Adding the pickled multi-colored thai chilis for an extra bite took it up another notch!
Solid tasty Thai food! Lots of various dishes to choose from. All dishes tasted clean and full of flavor. There's an outdoor seating area that's dog friendly. ❤️
I ordered several dishes... seafood tom yum soup, naked shrimp, drunken noodles, and papaya salad w salted egg. All were delicious!
Will definitely be adding Thai Central to my list of favorite thai restaurants.
The best Thai food we’ve ever had. Very flavorful. We had two different types of curry, drunken noodles, pad Thai, fried rice, chicken satay, fried tofu, and egg rolls. Some of the food was “melt in your mouth” good. Was able to choose spice level and tables had extra spices on the side. Huge selection. They are in a plaza so there was amble parking available.
Traveled to LA for work and my wife being Thai wanted to visit Thai Town for obvious reasons. Spent a couple of days walking through and eating at several establishments, one of which was Thai Central. This place was also recommended by the staff at Thai Patio just down the way. We ordered some sour Isaan sausage as an appetizer which was pretty good. I also ordered the Pad Kra Paw Moo and my wife ordered YenTa Fo soup. The Pad Kra Paw Moo was ok but not spicy at all. The server didn’t ask what spice level I wanted so I assume they don’t think a farang can handle any spice. My wife commented her soup was very good. She said she felt “Thailand” in that dish. So the food was ok to good, the atmosphere was nice, but the big downer was the server. She was not happy and she let us know it. All in all I wouldn’t mind coming back to try some other dishes but my wife refuses to come back.

The food is fresh and delicious! I’ve eaten the drunken noodles and Pad Prik King and both dishes have been served hot and freshly cooked. Drunken noodles go well with a cold Singha beer; the food is prepared with love and you can taste the flavors of the different spices used. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive to the customer. This is definitely a hidden gem that I’m reluctant to share with others.
Great food with a very friendly staff. I will be going here again.
Stopped here on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was super nice and welcoming. Definitely adding this as one of my spots. Highly recommend!
The wait was too long at Ruen Pair so a friend and I decided to give this place a try. I am so glad that I did! The food was delicious and fresh and they had very friendly staff. No complaints. Will definitely come back!

Had several dishes and they were all delicious. However, our appetizer came out last while our main meal came out first.
Went with my family from Tampa and this is such a treat to have! SO AUTHENTIC! The pad se ewe is my ultimate favorite here!
This is my favorite place in this plaza. Consistently better tasting than Ruen Pair and there's never a wait... The staff is super friendly too. So far, we've had:
Yellow curry
Penang curry
Green curry
Drunken noodles
Pad see ew
Pad Thai
You can show your receipt from here to get 15% off at Ding Tea after.
I absolutely recommend the Drunken Noodles. If you choose the spicy catfish curry, make sure to check every morsel for bones and stems which takes a while
The food is good but it's too sweet for me

One of the most authentic best tasting Thai restaurants in LA.

Be aware of the tips because they force you 18% in avance without you knowing it..!

Amazing Food ,Service and even great music Playlist 😋 Ms pare , and god
Food was excellent. I had the stewed pork and the Som Tum Phu papaya salad. My wife had the Thai Boat Noodle with beef. The only thing that needed some slight improvement was the papaya salad. There was too much crab and fish flavor and not enough tamarind. And, the sticky rice was served microwaved in a sandwich bag. The outside of the sticky rice got dry very fast. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food. Better than the last three Thai restaurants we tried.
Auténtica cuisine, fresh as close to the Thailand mother land, enjoy the mango sticky rice and the many more delicatessen
Literally the BEST thai food in LA. The pad see ew and pad pit is literally the best! Gate keep and dont bring too much people. I dont want this place to be too crowded lol
Overall have a good experience with food and service. Recommend papaya salad, it’s is important to ask to adjust spicy level to your likeness. Mild can consider as medium to many people, this can be true to most Thai restaurants in Thai town.
Parking: Val-let parking (recommended) and some street parking (1hour)
I got food poisoning from the chicken satay. I know it was that because that's the only thing I ate that day. Never again!
I order Tom Yum Soup seafood I was enough for two people, I was able to modify spice level to mild. Soup was super tasty. The Restaurant offers validation for parking after 1 hour it’s 3$. I Recommend this place it’s super nice.
Had a really nice lunch with friends
Quite mediocre food.
All the 5 stars must be from fake paid reviews or people who have no taste buds and need to see a doctor.
Way, way, way overpriced for the quality of food and service.
AMAZING 🤩 EVERYTHING!! GOD KITTY our server IS AMAZING !! Highly recommend this place SERVICE is excellent FOOD is excellent!! Better than RUEN PAIR better than HOLLYWOOD THAI better than TUMNAK
I mean the food here is very very authentic and aromatic you can taste every ingredient, it’s an explosion of flavors THIS IS NOW MY BESTEST THAI restaurant EVER !! 💙
amazing food!!!!! So good it was 10/10
Service is bad. I ordered a fired rice, and rice noodle and a mango sticky rice. But we have waited for about 50 min for the first two main dishes, BUT people arrived much later than us got the dishes much faster than us. Why?? is it because I’m alone with my 1’5 year daughter? Really don’t understand. And no smiles, not friendly
The food is too salty and sweet. But the mango sticky rice is good.
Atmosphere is ok

We ate here tonight and were pleasantly surprised. It’s really good Thai food, especially the chive cakes, green curry and crab curry. Flavors were spot on, although I think they run a tad too sweet. My waitress advised me to order medium even though I like spicy. Medium is definitely not spicy enough, it’s what Americans might think is spicy.
get the lime fish dish and thank me later
Go to where in area. Kinda pricy, but good.
Dishes are too salty/sweet. Those are way beyond what normal people can accept.
Fresh and tasty
Authentic Thai street food. Varieties of noodle dishes - from boat noodle to bamee - “บะหมี่ ต้มยำ”. I recommend noodles and rice plates. Our appetizer was fish cakes. My mom loves it. The Chinese broccoli with crispy pork is delicious. We ordered a lot of things to shared and they are pretty good. Yen ta Pho was very spicy - in a good way. Be warned. We spent $30
This spot recently opened; the family clearly takes pride in the food and service. The stars in the rating are not a measure of fine dining - but rather as a rating for a neighborhood Thai restaurant.
Food is great. We ordered pad see ew, satay, basil chicken and other noodles. They are all very tasty. People are friendly. Service is excellent.
ordered 4 dishes to share and they were all great/ staff is super nice too, great service. My new fave spot in this plaza !
Explored Thai Town with my friend and we decided to try Thai Central - it was great!
-Crispy Pork: delicious pork belly, served piping hot, salty and crispy with optional dipping sauce
-Beef Pad See Ew: great ratio of noodles to meat to veggies, and cooked well, not too sweet. Loved this with prik nam plaa (Thai chilis in fish sauce)
-shrimp crackers - complimentary for following them on ig
We split both entrees and were very satisfied with the meal. Reasonable prices too, and excellent service. Will be back!
So good provoked me to look them up and leave a review .
Just ordered here from Uber eats . My new favorite Thai place ! Ordered Pad See Ew ! Perfecto super happy .Made a special request in notes and they delivered exactly how intended .
I write this review with great trepidation as this new restaurant is a hidden gem that I fear will become so popular that getting a table may become a challenge!
Last week, we had a friend visiting from out of town. She had never eaten Thai food before, so we decided to take her to our go-to spot, Ruen Pair. When we pulled into the parking lot, at least ten people stood outside waiting for a table. We were famished, so waiting 45 minutes to an hour for a table wouldn't work. That's when we noticed Thai Central Cuisine just across the parking lot, a relatively new addition to the area.
Stepping inside, we found a tastefully decorated and impeccably clean restaurant. With growling stomachs, we decided to give it a shot - a decision we wouldn't regret. The food was a revelation. We ordered Seafood Tom Yum Soup, Crab Fried Rice, Penang Curry with Chicken, and Shrimp Pad Thai. The soup broth was the perfect combination of sweet and sour, filled with fresh seafood. The Crab Fried Rice was delicious and had generous amounts of crab meat, but the real standout was the Penang Curry, which was rich and creamy and packed with flavor.
If you are too hungry to wait for a table at Ruen Pair, head across the parking lot and try Thai Central Cuisine. I'm willing to bet that if you're like me, it will become your Thai restaurant of choice in Thai Town... but let's keep it our little secret!
I had the pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant in Los Angeles, and I must say, it's a true gem. 😊 It's the first place outside of Thailand where we've found food that's just as delicious and authentic. 👌 The staff is incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. 🍽️ From the very first visit, this restaurant became our favorite, and we regularly return with our family. Highly recommended! 👍😄
I have tried multiple thai restaurants in this area. I tried the drunken noodles and sadly it was bad because the noodles were very mushy and there was a lack of flavor. For the price I could have gotten something better next door.
I like the Papaya salad and Tom Yum soup. Lots of good flavor. 👍
So good!!!!!
This place is NOT PaOrd. This location of Pa Ord is closed and only the original location on sunset exists.
I only goto sunset location but they were closed today with kitchen issues so I came here, thinking it would be their #2 location.
I asked and the server said the food continued to be the same from Paord. I suspiciously ordered my usual Tom yum spicy.
The food is obviously not the same. Similar, not same. It was like 1/2 of the usual spicy and lacked the flavor.
But they had $12 mango sticky rice which was really good. I'm sure the other items on the menu is good too. Just don't expect pa ord Tom yum.
