Mae Malai Thai House of Noodles is a Thai restaurant that serves the original Thai boat noodles, homemade sausages, homemade egg rolls, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, homemade dessert, and much more. Mae Malai restaurant is operated by family members with recipes that have been passed down from generations. The family has been selling noodles in Thailand for more than 60 years and cannot wait to share the deliciousness with the Los Angeles community! If you love Pad Thai, Thai boat noodles, and other authentic Thai food, Mae Malai is very happy to serve you.
I visited Mai Malai for the first time. It was excellent. The tables were all full. They said it would only be a few minutes, but we chose to sit at the counter. A young guy named T was working behind the counter, he was really friendly and offered recommendations. We got the house special, Thai Boat Noodles, one regular and one spicy, with pork. Also the Spring Rolls. The food came out fast, in about 10 minutes and everything was hot and very fresh. The tables and counter were all wiped down and very clean. The restroom was clean, wiped down and stocked. Staff was awesome and most importantly, the food was excellent. We will definitely make this our “go to” place for Thai food!
Ordered a variety of dishes, all medium spice and although they were extremely spicy for me, they were all delicious. Ordered the pork jerky, Thai boat noodle soup, Tom Yum noodle soup and the dry Tom Yum. We ordered their mango with sticky rice and it was one of the best we’ve ever tried, and we’ve tried quite a few in and around LA. Highly recommend their Thai tea and their longan juice, very refreshing!
A small, but super busy restaurant with great food and friendly customer service. Will be back!
The boat noodles were as advertised, A+, except had to fish an eyelash out of the fish. The other dishes were not great. Pad kra pow was super oily and not much flavor, small portion for the price as well. Pad Thai anusawari also pretty flavorless and small portion. Diet Coke we ordered was expired. Service was poor and very slow. No need to return.
I’ve been come to her since she was selling out of the night market at Silom market down the street. I’m just so glad she in a brick and mortar and I can pop in anytime. And yes, she has definitely gotten very popular in the last few years, which is great for her and the business because she deserve it and honestly the wait time wasn’t terrible. We were there on Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock and got seated within 10-15 minutes. I’m not sure why her signature Boat Thai noodle is not an option for what to recommend, but that is to go to if you must try this place. Something about her bro is just super flavorful and rich. I’ve only wished I could live closer to have it every day!
This restaurant is by far the best Thai restaurant I have eaten in LA. I ordered the pork jerky and the original Thai boat noodle with beef with medium spicy.
The soup is flavorful, with a beef broth base I believe, salted just right and with just the right amount of sweet and acidity to balance the soup. Noodles were great with a slight bit of chewiness so that it has enough texture but not too much so that it is tough to break. Perfect. The beef in it included beef, beef stomach, and i think a part of the liver(not sure).
The best part of the pork jerky dish was the sauce. It is also balanced perfectly with just the right amount of flavors and a hint of spicy. The pork is marinated so it has a decent amount of flavor even without the sauce. The only problem I might say about this dish is that some of them are either a little overcooked or dry. But overall still really good.
Not gonna comment on atmosphere because it has a cheap price and the main focus is on the food.
Service was fantastic, didn’t have to ask for anything other than the check, my water was never empty, didn’t run out of napkins, and did random checks on how I’m doing.
🇹🇭 THAILAND (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - An order of her tom yum noodle ก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำ ($15.95) is likely to blow your mind, in multiple ways. It should be asked for at a spice level at the highest of your tolerance, as the dish is not meant to be enjoyed mild. Also available with pork and beef, her broth is both spicy and sour, sweetened by peanuts and full of every delicious cut of meat you can imagine. Mae Malai is the place to go for this dish now in Los Angeles, no contest.
Authentic and unbelievable Thai. One of the best meals in los Angeles. I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want anyone else to know about it! Have a had everything on the menu and it's all an 11/10
Accidentally came across this cozy restaurant. Tried their traditional boat noodle soup. Delicious and unique. I’m not an expert on this dish so I have nothing to compare it to. Efficient and quick service. On the plus side, they gave us a complimentary coconut pudding dessert which was divine.
This place is so very good! Everything super delicious, tasty and friendly service! Will come here again for sure
All the boxes must visit. T is excellent with the service and keeping after guests. Make sure to ask Bo for menu recommendations. Enjoy 😊
This is the best experience of my life!! The best Thai restaurant in Los Angeles!!!!! By far!! They deserve 929 Michelin stars!!! Bravo!!! BRAVO!!!! The best noodles in my life!!!! Thank you so much for this marvelous dish!!
Came by pure chance was pleasantly surprised. Amazing food! Must try! Will definitely come back again. Staff and owner were very welcoming.
Absolutely spectacular. The Thai boat noodles were perfectly rich, flavorful, and spicy.

I have yet to find authentic Thai Boat noodle since I was in Thailand 10 years ago and Mai Malai did not disappoint. This was my #1 request to try during our visit. The customer service was very nice and their spice level was on fire. Good fire. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit LA.

Pros fast service. Cons low quality.

還不錯吃,可惜後面的座位有點擠。
Unlike anything I’ve ever tasted and it’s amazing
Great food, very "home style"!
Food was fantastic, Thai iced tea was fine. Service was warm and pleasant.

Omg what an amazing meal, what cute ladies, and what an incredible spot! The boat noodles are insanely good, chiang mai sausage was bursting with aromatics, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect way to end a meal. My only regret was not having more room to try more things. Seriously such authentic Thai cooking that does not hold back. Our server was also soo sweet and went out of her way to help my non-thai ass find the music they were playing on youtube. Thanks for a great meal!
Had a seemingly racists experience here on 11/2/24.
1. We put our name on the waiting list and they attempted to sit a 3 party table before our 2 party and those 3 had to advocate for us that we were there before them in order for us to be sat before them.
2. We only ordered pad see ew and pad Thai but 3 tables who sat after us received all of their food before us including a 6 party table. The people at the 6 party table attempted to give us their pad Thai bc they were confused on how their food came before ours since we had been there before them.
3. My bf comes here all the time with his white classmates and has never experienced that before. He said the food usually comes out based on who sits first.
Very delicious!! excellent price!!
Great place, boat noodles fantastic. All the food great. Kid friendly. Great service.
I love boat noodle
Great Thai, the classic dishes are all delicious as well as the boat noodles you see. Had great pad see ewe.
LA were lucky to have this one. This place is amazing. Brought a friend from Thailand here who is the biggest Thai food snob - he couldn't believe how legit this place is. We did some digging around and it turns out the Gal who owns this place comes from a multigenerational Family that actually started the Boat noodle phenomenon in Northern Thailand. Turns out there are only two places in the world you can experience this authentic style one is Thailand the other is here. Unreal tasty - chill vibe dine in casual and absolute must if you're in Los Angeles. Get the Beef bowl mild and the fried wontons. Off the hook!!!
Mae Malai is a terrific Thai restaurant. When I first entered the complex on Hollywood and Western I found it very easy to park. Parking upstairs and downstairs is free. I sat down at the Bar and tried their Beef boat noodle. SPECTACULAR. I then had their fried rice with shrimp and it was so delicious. I really enjoyed the crispy pork. I finished my meal with their Khanom Tuay which is a coconut custard type dessert. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL THAI RESTAURANT. IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC THAI...LOOK NO FURTHER.
We just had lunch here. The food and service was great!
The spicy level is perfect if you like SPICY food, so be warned.
We ordered the tom yum soup noodle, boat noodle and spicy wonton, everything was good.
Boat noodles were incredible!
This is my first time here and I was impressed by the service of the owner and the staff. I ordered pork boat noodles. I ordered the longan drink lemon tea and Khanom Thuai (Desserts that Thai people usually order before the main course )which came in a cute cup. I really liked it. It felt like when I was in Thailand, I would eat Khanom Thuai all the time. It was coconuts jelly. It was soft and chewy. I really liked it. It felt like when I was young I feel loved every here so many I had a moment to chat with the owner of the shop, which really stunned me because she said that she makes her own chilies, makes her own Sai Ua, and that she pays special attention to each ingredient in every process of making noodles, desserts, and other dishes. She and her team are the ones who carefully select and pay attention to every detail in every step before making a bowl of noodles, even roasting the garlic themselves to get the fragrant aroma of fried garlic. Absolutely I will return when I come to Los Angeles. Thank you for your love foods. So appreciate ^_^
Great food & service
Food is some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. The pork jerky was incredible, as are all the noodle dishes. Will be back!!

Rich yet delicate, the original Thai boat noodles have a warm, deep sweetness; a comfort food on the first bite. I tried the glass noodles, egg noodles, and big flat noodles - each distinct and perfect-in-itself. My first round was Thai spicy/pork/glass noodles, which was excellent. We each asked for a second round of noodles (egg for me) to finish the broth and they gave us more broth to split. It was, impossibly, even better than the first helping. The beef is beyond anything else, absolutely juicy and softly falling apart. I couldn’t eat a bite of it without closing my eyes in pleasure. The servers were very friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. In a word, my dining experience here was “gentle”.
This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time! It's the best kept secret and probably won't be for very long. I started off with their famous beef boat noodle which had a very savory broth and was every kind of comfort and goodness I needed. The wait staff was excellent. In fact, they helped me pick out Thai fried rice with shrimp. And honestly, I'm a changed woman after. I then ordered sticky rice with mango. I had no idea I needed something like this in my life! It was presented like a blonde woman/ smoky face with big hair because of the cute mango slices which I absolutely adored. I wanna buy this dessert for everyone I love! Parking is free which is super convenient. Go there and you won't regret it. I was drawn originally because I heard they were included on the Michelin registry.

This is now my favorite Thai food in Los Angeles
I recently went to Mai Malai Thai of noodles. What a wonderful experience. I started off with their famous beef boat noodle which had light spice but a wonderful flavor. I had shrimp fried rice and I had an order of eggrolls with chicken. This is a very casual restaurant, but the quality food is the best. I was drawn to the restaurant. They recently got some mentioned by Michelin. And I must say it as well deserved. I look forward to going back and telling all my friends about this restaurant. The servers that work in the restaurant are very professional very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu so That was a good thing.
Great boat noodles
They forgot about our food and we waited 40 minutes, finally the owner came out and told us she would give us complimentary ice cream but its was actually 21 dollars in total. Then she apologizes and mumbled about giving us some “tea” to go and after 15 minutes of waiting never showed up.
Mae Malai is my friend, and I favorite during our vacation in CA. We are from NYC and believe it or not, my friend comes to eat here almost every day. Real taste of Thai food is the most of our concern. It is good that this restaurant is in a mall, and we have a parking area but if this place didn't have parking space, I think ppl still going to eat at this place. Very nice and warm welcome from the owner. She is super friendly and know how to handle everything professionally. We were blessed, to get a table before a lot of customers. While we were eating, I saw long line and I think this restaurant must be do very good job to have visitor and local to always eat here. If you come to Thai Town in LA, you must try Real Thai Food taste at Mae Malai!
Amazing experience here. There was a bit of a wait at 6pm sunday evening especially with a large group. Luckily we got the whole bar to sit at pretty quickly! Everything was fantastic. Got the wet and dry boat noodles they are famous for, pad thai, dry tom yum noodles, dry boat noodles, pork belly and chinese broccoli, little dumplings, coconut pandan dessert and coconut ice cream. Everything fantastic but the wet boat noodles with pork, pad thai, and coconut pandan dessert were standout for me. Will definitely be getting those again. Waiters and chefs were sooo fast and efficient it was an amazing first time here.
So excited to hear about the newest Michilin star mention about this Thai restaurant so we rush to give it a try.. located in a huge shopping complex in the middle of Thai town.. the boat noodle was nice snd spicy but the other 2 noodle dish was a disappointment… I love pad Thai and it was mediocre… a little too sweet and the drunken noodle was oily and absolutely no “ wok” flavor…
Went to try Mae Malai noodles tonight! Lots of articles on this restaurant and recently reviewed by Michellin. I had their famous beef boat noodle and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone around had many bowls stacked up on their tables. I asked the server what that was about and I've learned its tradition in Thai culture to see who can eat the most and finish fastest! One table of gentleman had 5/6 bowls stacked so I knew I was in for a treat! I had some Thai fried rice with shrimp and devoured it! So delicious! Finished the meal with coconut ice cream which was refreshing and tasted like vacation. The service was remarkable! Servers were so sweet and attentive! Had the best Thai Tea I've ever had so make sure to get one! Parking was easy and the entire experience was great! I'll be back and this will definitely be my new favorite local spot! Looking forward to trying out more things on the menu! Definitely go!!
Bib gourmand recognition and was good but plenty places as good around Thai town.
I had the boat noodle wet. I've lived and visited Bangkok many times since 1975. The sweetness in the broth is overbearing. True boat noodle is not sweet as portrayed.
The service was excellent. They came to take our order promptly, food came out fast, and they were quick on the water refills.
The atmosphere was nice, a bit crowded, but that is when you know it is good.
We had the dry Thai Boat noodles, regular Thai Boat noodles, dry Tom Yum noodles, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Zee Ew. All were excellent. They don't list all the ingredients for the Thai Boat noodles, so my mom didn't realize it came with bean sprouts. She picked them out though, so it was an easy fix. The Thai spicy level was very authentic. Heed their warnings on the wall and prepare your stomach if you choose to go that route.
Overall, great Thai food experience!
I have to say this place is a gem. Had the beef holy basil and the beef boat noodle. I like spicy and ordered it that way...and it delivered on both heat and flavor! Def can enjoy without the extra spice too, but I loved it spicy! Parking was easy. Staff friendly and helped me with the menu. Make it a point to visit! I want to come back and try more!
Let me tell you guys something… I’ve NEVER had Thai food this good in this country! And I’ve tried. It’s seriously good!
I started with the “house” recommended, Beef Boat Noodles (Thai Spicy) 5/5, then moved on to the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) with ground chicken 5/5. The noodles were tender. The meat was juicy! The flavors took me back to my time in Thailand a few years back. I finished with some Longan Juice and fried wontons that were both solid.
Can’t beat the service, atmosphere or the food anywhere else in LA! I’ll definitely be back and I’m bringing the crew!
Visited twice in one week of first discovering Mae Malai. The dishes were superb and the service was so so friendly. Loved every dish I've tried so far but the Tom Yum noodles and chili holy basil with crispy pork is another level. Must try!
Excellent. Can’t wait to go back
Mae Malai Thai House of Noodles, located at the intersection of Hollywood and Western, is a hidden gem that I recently discovered. As a Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant, it piqued my curiosity and prompted a visit with a friend.
The menu offers a variety of delicious options at surprisingly reasonable prices. We started with their signature Beef Boat Noodle, which was terrific. The homemade egg rolls and Holy Basil dish followed, both bursting with flavor and leaving a lasting impression. Our meal concluded with chicken Pad Thai and fried rice, maintaining the high standard set by the earlier dishes.
Every item we tried was consistently delicious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. The fair pricing, coupled with the exceptional food, makes Mae Malai an outstanding value. This memorable dining experience has convinced me to enthusiastically recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Here is why this little place is deserving of its Michelin star. Exceptional food. Thai food is typically very flavorful, but can also have a lot of sugar. The balance of seasoning and flavors here is nothing short of brilliant. Ordering their original boat noodles dry I found it loaded with so many goodies. It’s these details to the flavor that make it worthy of 5 stars. You have to keep digging in for more. It’s that good. I also ordered the sausage appetizer because it’s made in house. No doubt about that fact and the flavor is so awesome. This is not a cook at work, this is a chef and I can’t wait to attack more of the menu options. Thai food is one of my favorites and I’ve tried many Thai restaurants in L.A. and this just moved to the top of the list. The interior is simple, but the food can fit in the most expensive high end restaurant.
Got Thai boat noodle soup (beef) and flavor is good. Not the best I have ever had but better than most in US. We liked it. Service was friendly and nice. Price was right and clean little place. But so slow. Unbelievably slow. I have never in my life had to wait that long for a bowl of noodles. Not here or abroad. My wife (Thai) and my were shocked at how long it took to get a bowl of noodles. Too bad. If the noodles came out in a normal amount of time for noodles, would be 5 stars. But just no reason it should ever take 20 minutes to get 2 bowls of noodles.
Updated review: I think my family and I have an obsession with this place now. We have gone four times in one week and I'll tell you why!
Everything we have ordered from there have been super Tasty! So much flavor in every bite! Their both noodle soup is small, but it's the perfect size to enjoy all that flavor plus other dishes that you should order.
Their fried rice, beef jerky, pad ka Pao, pad thai and Tom yum are all SO good! Even their coconut dessert is awesome! They run out by the end of the day since it's made fresh daily.
Parking can be super sucky, but just be patient And drive around a couple times and there's always someone leaving. They do have underground parking, but I have yet to use it.
Bring a sweater! It gets so cold in there! I'm sure it'll be very nice during the summer heat, but it has gotten a little bit too cold where I had to run out and grab a jacket in the car. Lol
Totally worth the drive for us (over 30 mins with traffic)! I can't wait to go back!
____________
Great experience for the first time there! The pad Thai was sweet, but tangy and good! Their coconut. Dessert is awesome! Their boat noodle soup Is smaller than most, but it packs a lot of flavor! I will definitely come back! Not good for big groups!
Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in Los Angeles. Been going to Mae Malai since they had the food stall out on the streets in Thai town center and they haven’t lost their touch. The food was perfectly balanced and beautifully served. The flavors were rich and authentic. The family is loving and warm and remembered us from when we used to eat at their street stall. Cannot recommend them enough! Please come and support them!
No joke actually felt like I was back in Thailand eating my favorite street food. We've tried so many Thai restaurants in the US and this is by far the best we've had. Must try!!
If you're ever in Thai town in Hollywood, definitely check this place out! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top notch, and the ambience was impeccable.
Started off strong with Malai's signature dish, a bowl of beef boat noodle. It was delicious. The fried rice with shrimp and the pork jerky were also very yummy For dessert, I got the coconut ice cream and sticky rice with mango. I genuinely crave Mae Malai all the time!!
We went there for a quick Lunch. The staff was very friendly, there was a family atmosphere and the food was a delight. Very authentic Thai food and prepared with love. The best Thai Restaurant I have ever visited outside of Thailand.
Amazing service by Ms. Malai herself, show stopping food (recommend the Tom Yum + Thai Boat noodles, as well as the fried pork), and convenient parking to boot. Can’t wait to come back :)
This place was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was amazing and the ambience is very soothing. A must visit in Hollywood. I started off with a bowl of beef boat noodle, Malai's signature dish. It was delicious. My sons ordered the fried rice with shrimp and the pork jerky. I ordered the holy basil which I wanted light spicy. It came with steam rice with a fried egg on top and amazing dish. I would recommend it to anybody to order. And then for dessert my boys wanted coconut ice cream and sticky rice with mango. Simply delicious. Highly recommend a visit when you are in Thai town in Hollywood.
I went once to buy a Thai tea I had great service . I came today and had the worst service.. had to go to the restroom so I was waiting in line to order a Thai tea and this waitress in a blue blouse today was incredibly rude… pushed me out of the way of the restroom and was yelling at the cashier. Will never be coming again
Mae is the real deal. If you love thai boat noodles, run don’t walk. This is undoubtedly one of the finest noodle houses in Thai town.
Mae Malai Thai House of Noodles is a wonderful Thai restaurant. The staff are friendly and courteous.
The interior design makes you feel at home.
I had the Beef Boat noodles and it was amazing. I never tasted a more sophisticated broth. The price was $ 8 dollars plus and worth every penny.
I then had the Chicken Pad Thai light spicy and it was delicious.
The owner Malai came out to greet me and the other guests. She has a wonderful personality and is a great chef.
She brought me a taste of the Isaan sausage which originated in Northern Thailand.
I finished this glorious meal with Kanom Tuay which is a coconut custard type desert.
I will recommend this to all my friends.
I love this place. I love to sit at the counter. The restaurant has a nice inviting vibe and nice employees. But the main thing is: the food is amazing! I'm addicted to the boat noodles but also like to try new things once in a while and haven't had a bad meal yet.
Finally tried this place out and the thaiboat was a 3/5 for me. Got the level SPICY and goddammmmm it was soooo SPICYY🥵 plus the portion is very small, and there was barely any broth, the server had to add more for us.
The thai omelet was very good to me. The server was super nice and attentive.
Best boat noodle in LA! I just wish they have a bigger size 😅 Their Tom Yum noodle soup, pad Thai, and pad kra pow is also very good! My favorite Thai food in LA!
Got the tom tum soup with glass noodles. Medium spicy .
It had some kick but nothing excessive .
Broth was well balanced between spicy and tangy.
Absolutely delicious. No notes
Definitely try this place .
Prettyyy good
Great food and great service! Great desserts too! 🇹🇭🔥
Brought my parents and had the dessert here and it was outstanding! Best mango sticky rice of all time. Super fresh. I’d also recommend the coconut milk cakes - like mini flan cupcakes - they’re unbelievably good. Lastly I had longan tea - it’s like ice tea with fresh lychees in it. It might be the world’s best desert combo. If you’ve only had western stuff like donuts and cakes, you’ve gotta try dessert the Thai way. And if you’ve had Thai dessert before, this is definitely the freshest!!
Everyone should come to this restaurant!! The food was soooo good. We came to the restaurant yesterday and ordered around 5 dishes. All of them were flavorful and delicious!! The server was nice. Also, the lemon thai tea (?) was so good! It was sour and refreshing. It is truly worth the hype!! Recommended dishes: ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหมู ก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำ ขนมครก ชามะนาว ჱ̒⸝⸝•̀֊•́⸝⸝)♡︎♡︎ (also thank you so much for the fried pork, อร่อยมากค่ะ)
Thai both noodles soup was so amazing make me miss my country now
Super fragrant and floral. Very much what you expect from Thai cuisine. I got the boat noodles and one of the sausage dishes. The boat noodles had fun bits of crunchy and chewy textures with a umami rich broth. The sausage was very floral and fragrant. A perfume of lemongrass and galangal hits you like a pleasant truck.
The menu is simple, tight, and concise but don't let that fool you. Each dish packs some major flavor and if you choose Spicy or Thai Spicy, each dish will be packing some major pain. I was crying. No lie. No shame. I was practically sobbing at the counter and the owner made fun of me. It was a humbling experience. Nevertheless an experience I see myself reliving over and over by choice.
Tips:
- Get Mild or below. Spicy and Thai Spicy is very spicy and I’m used to eating Indian food.
- Get the Thai Iced Tea, it’s refreshing and cooling
- they offer complementary rice and pandan dessert to help cook off the palate which was very much enjoyed (and needed for me)
4.5 stars! Drunken noodles and egg rolls were fantastic. Medium spicy is pretty spicy (I’m a good way), but is more like extra spicy in other restaurants (coming from an Indian)
Boat and Tom Yum Noodles were some of the best I have had. I just wish the bowls had been bigger. That isn't to say the portions aren't decent, it is my saying the food and flavor was that delicious. Started with the poached beef, both noodles in the middle and the pandan custards (I can't remember what these are called) for dessert because...why not? All bites were addicting and my thai food baby belly that resulted from eating everything was worth it!
The restaurant is clean. The service is friendly. The parking is easy (which if you know Thai town, you know is unheard of).
The absolute best noodles🍜🤤 very clean and friendly shop. My wife is from Thailand and she says it's the best, I agree 👍💯
Staff is great and helpful with the menu.
The owner has worked very hard for 6 years to bring you the best noodle from Bangkok, she was selling out on Friday and Saturday night street food in Thai Town, Los Angeles.
Definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing and friendly service and delicious Thai food. What they are known for are the boat noodle soup. The soup is really tasty. Their egg rolls are phenomenal too. The bowl of boat noodles is small. They only serve it in this size. The restaurant is also small. This is a lively place. There is a good sized parking lot and a structure underneath for more parking as this restaurant is in a large shopping center.
Definitely not worth the price for what you get. And they are not ready to be opened yet, the staff was all over the place and took way too long to get orders out. Thai boat noodles are supposed to come out immediately it took them over 30 minutes to get a tiny bowl out.
So happy my favorite boat noodles are back! I used to go to their original location in front of Silom Supermarket before their full-service restaurant. Everyone here is so friendly, it’s so nice to see all the familiar faces from the previous location and feel right at home. Best boat noodles in Thai Town and my favorite Kanom Thuay dessert(perfect mixture of sweet, salty, creamy coconut with pandan) It’s a must try!
The food was amazing according to my kids.
The Noodles are so so good !
There are many good boat noodles in Thai town but I think this one is just a little bit better. The liver is by far the best texture and taste. The broth is more intensely flavored. The bowl is small but varied in texture and multi faceted in flavor.
Only downside is it’s kind of expensive for the portion size. Parking is easy. The pandan dessert is a great way to end the meal.
The food is good, but given the price I expected a larger portion. I think I rather hit one of the other Thai town noodle shops for my boat noodle fix
