This has become one of my favorite seafood spots, but going last night completely changed my mind. I ordered about $100 worth of food and none of it was enjoyable. My shrimp were completely overcooked, extremely mushy as well my potatoes. I ordered sausage that werent in my bag either. There was barely any sauce and I had over 2lbs of food as well as add ons. I also ordered a pacific steamed and it was the same issues unfortunately. I’ve tried to call since I got home lastnight and even now since writing this I’ve continued to try and nothing. Definitely a unsatisfied experience.

This addition to my review is added after finally speaking with an employee and basically being to that after hearing my issue and me stating I would even bring the food back to see it wasn’t eaten the owner of the establishment said I couldn’t get my meal remade nor full refund. I was only offered another order of shrimp and not all the orders I placed just one portion.

Oh different cooks. I believe they should Close this Cajun restaurant they really need to close it but keep the restaurant on the left side that belongs to them. Keep that open on the right side crispy pork gang keep that open and the last restaurant at the end should stay open. Also, I believe that they’re better cooks than the cajun restaurant. Their restaurant cannot cook awful awful, yes the bathroom ladies smell bad, Please close this restaurant or get a better cook. Clean your restroom your price sucks and services fee needs to stop. Tips are not mandatory and you need to know that unless it’s more than 6% eating then you should charge a tip but just two people eating and you’re charging a tip. You should not do that. You should let us make the decisions how much tip we should give to you. This is going to stop.. I suggest you need to close your restaurant down and revamp this whole place. The other two restaurants are fine so far haven’t found fault and then but do not let the people in find the fault on your restaurant. It looks bad. Your recipes is not correct for all three meals. I’m a professional in eating Thai food. This does not taste like Thai food. I’m very sorry you need to do better than this.

We went to Tumnak Thai and Cajun Seafood House for lunch. They have a very large selection (see the photos) and lunch specials, even on the weekend. The food was very tasty. Their Heinan chicken was exceptional, they use sticky rice for the dish and it was so delicious I got a plate of just the Heinan rice.

The food is pretty good, and that’s the only thing that was good about this place. The service is horrendous. Once you get your food, they pretty much ignore you, and they don’t even ask you the bare minimum a server should ask, like if your food is good and if you need refills. Then they add an 18% service fee when they don’t even give you any service in the first place! That’s pretty shady business. I don’t mind tipping, I tip well for good service, but forcing an 18% tip when I didn’t get asked if my food was good is pathetic!

Edit: not only the service is horrendous, but the owner is a liar! First, we were only 3 people dining in. Second, we never ordered Cajun fried shrimp. We had 2 Pad Thai and sweet and sour beef. Third, we never complained about the food. We actually liked the food. The server wouldn’t have known if we did since they never asked once about our food. Fourth, I never refused to pay. The place being the only empty restaurant while the other restaurants around them are full should’ve been a red flag. I have never seen a place ran by someone as unprofessional as this place.
The owner is a psychopath, and if you don’t believe me, go check their Yelp reviews, he harasses a lot of customers.

My son has been asking to try octopus and i saw they had it on the menu so we came to give it a try. Got him the crawfish and octopus to try both with the bang bang bam sauce and he loved it! I got the tom yum soup which was ok and the orange chicken which I personally wouldn't get again. Overall I would come back if I was in the area.

Rarely I'm dissatisfied with restaurants. this place is memorable for its terrible noteworthy dishes. rice was undercooked, Plasticity of the steak was extreme, lobster wasn't fresh and the baby octopus appetizer seemed like it was under a heat lamp for a week.

Can't complain when I can get $3.50 tasters on the side. There is also ayce lunch and dinner. I didn't expect much since this place is Thai owned, but serves Cajun, Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai food. We took it with grain of salt. Sometimes I just want a rice dish and a soup or curry on the side.

Food is not as I expected, they need more knowledge how to make real cajun style seafood and serve it properly.

As of now I don't recommend this place, I went there just because they were open till 2am.

The most adventurous menu I've ever seen. This spot has literally every dish across the Asia Continent. Everything I tasted so far is very good and I shall return to try and taste everything this place has to offer.

Visiting LA and trying new food , but I would never recommend this place , potato had the root still , couldn’t finish the food because it was so sweat when clearly was asked for Cajun Mild , was never asked by waitress if everything was okay during eating and there was only 2 tables more . The girl served me cold potatoes. I politely asked for them to be reheated, and she clearly forgot, but instead of taking accountability, she ignored me the whole time I was there. I assumed at the very least she would take them off my bill, but she brought my potatoes with my check. Bad service food was not good no seasoning. The name belies the fare. Extensive menu, mostly varieties of Thai cuisine. Also lots of seafood choices.

It's our first time here. We ordered coconut milk seafood soup, combination pad see u, spicy BBQ beef and combination fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious, it was fresh and tasty. My favorite was the soup, I could feel how it warmed me up from inside with the first sip, my husband's and kids was the spicy BBQ beef. We also had Thai tea, it was delicious too. We had mango with sticky rice for dessert and oh my goodness, we loved it.
Of all the restaurants in the Los Angeles area, I can tell that this is the best.
Will be definitely coming back with friends and family!

Our regular spot was closed so we placed a grubhub order. Ordered 2 Pho, 2 fried combination, cajun shrimp and crawfish, asparagus, and frog legs. The Pho had a weird after taste. Not sure how it's made. The boil crawfish and shirp were extremely oily with no flavor. Rice super greasy as well. Gave it a shot but never again. Fast delivery but food was lacking flavor.

Worst place to order food from. Stay away. Wanna wish you heard it before you ordered? Here is your sign. Why would you accept and order if you can't deliver it? Shame on this place., the fact they reply with such a shi77i response tells you all about this place. If you can't handle food and hospitality open something else. Shame. Came in here last night with the family for a light snack and didn't have a good experience the food was not good you can usually tell how the food quality will be by how clean the restrooms are and they were not clean very smelly I would definitely NOT come back. Oh yeah parking is a mess if you can't find parking the "valet" attendant will charge you yourself.

BEST SEAFOOD BOIL IN LA - HANDS DOWN!!!! I have had dozens of seafood boils in LA and around the world and none of them come close to the Cajun Seafood House!! The seafood tastes incredibly fresh and the bang bang sauce is absolutely delicious - it’ll make your mouth water!!!! The not spicy option is just that, but still packs a huge punch in flavor. Great place to get seafood boil in the area. The shrimp was fresh and service was amazing. The only thing although small that I didn’t like too much is that they kept trying to clear the table even though I was still enjoying my food and drink. I will be going back to try other dishes such as their Thai food.

HAIR FOUND IN FOOD !! Crab legs had parts of the meat that were dark green! DO NOT EAT HERE! I paid almost $80.00 for seafood that clearly is not being handled SAFELY OR CLEANLY! how disgusting and mortifying to find a HUGE LONG HAIR IN YOUR FOOD! Pretty good spot for groups that want a diverse menu. The boil is definitely worth getting and it is cool to enjoy a Thai tea while eating crawfish

Service was aweful, Food was disgusting and i mean it. I ordered a whole roasted duck and it tasted rinky. I ordered snow pea leaves they served me snow pea. I ordered seafood fried rice and the calamari was smelling spoiled so i was scared to eat it because bad seafood is very toxic.
The bathrooms are horrible. I just asked to use it so i can wash my hands before they serve the food. But i had to use napkins to open and close the door and there's boxes of food stocks everywhere around the bathroom. I spend $116 + 20 tip for a food i couldn't eat. They asked if i need to pack it to take home i said no thanks.

The driest coldest fish I’ve ever tasted in my life. That fish had a life and it was wasted on these chefs.

Clam chowder was literally out of a $3 Campbell soup can, my salmon was very dry and tough to chew and the veggies just tasted like salt.

Underrated!

This has to be the second worst Tom Kai Ki I have ever eaten - way too sweet and they cut up the lemon grass so you are constantly picking it out of your mouth! The blue crab reminded my of cat food - off putting taste and texture. Only the vegetable tofu was well prepared. I will not return since every other Thai place around them is so much better.

The also charged us for the peanut sauce that should be included with the spring rolls. A 1oz cup for 2 dollars! And was never informed about it being charged. On the other hand, I ordered the BBQpork over rice with no BBQ sauce and it took over 20 mins to make. At the end, they charged us 18% gratitude service which is $23 dollars for being 7 people. That is more than the average service fee. So this place is plain horrible and will not come back ever !

Completely rude to criticism I ended up buying off of GrubHub, which was polite enough to give me a refund, because my food arrived undercooked and it was so disgusting I had to throw away I reported it I got my money back but then I received threatening text messages from the deliverer who works at this restaurant I will be putting screenshots below. Even in one of them I am not the only one that went through this. There is no excuse for this behavior it's so unprofessional and very inhumane.

This place was good. They have an enormous menu and a very diverse selection of items to choose from.
