Traditional cooking of Thailand & Laos plus sushi & lunch specials, offered in a simple setting.
Very good food. The quantity was a lot! We were more than full with our meals.
Ordered Egg Rolls, Veg pad Thai with tofu, veg pad see eww with tofu and 2 Thai teas. The best part was that there was less wastage, they use paper straws and reusable steel cutlery. They have paper boxes and paper bags for to-go.
Love it when restaurant owners are being responsible and not adding more pollution to our beautiful planet. :)
New update-
Re-visited again and this restaurant never failed us.
The food was yummy as usual. We ordered Golden Tofu, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Mango with Sticky Rice, and Thai iced tea.
The staff was courteous and friendly. Quick service.
The ambiance was good, no complaints.
Their portions are big, their billing is very reasonable. Returned home happy with our stomachs full and our pockets not bruised, lol. :)
I stopped by this Thai place and found a friendly person taking my order. I love the Thai curry and want to see if they have a good Thai curry fried rice with pineapples. It was excellent and well prepared. Can highly recommend. The spring roles were absolutely great!
khao soi was so good I wish I had another bowl of rice for the leftover curry when I finished the noodle. Also the garlic chili sauce that came with moo dad deaw was bomb but I didn't quite catch the name
I found this place about 3 years ago while visiting Long Beach. I finally had the opportunity to go back this past weekend and it’s as good as I remember. The service here is amazing, the restaurant is run by a handful of very friendly ladies. They were very attentive and helpful with the menu.
I ordered chicken fried dumplings for my appetizer with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. For my entrees I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the spicy fried rice with chicken. Everything was tasty! We ordered the spicy fried rice under ‘medium’ spicy and it was a little too spicy for my taste, but still bearable and delicious. Keep that in mind if you can’t handle spicy foods.
I also ordered a young coconut water. Very refreshing. And this place doesn’t serve alcohol. But no biggie, their Thai ice tea and other beverages go great with the dishes. Can’t wait to go back.
Pretty disappointed the last time I visited. The wonton wrapped shrimp and the stuffed angel wings is what I came. They don't serve either anymore. I settled on a lunch special Mongolian beef. Much spicier than I requested, and so the overall taste was masked by the spice. Don't think I'll be back here anytime soon.
Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service! The food is phenomenal. The khao soi was incredible
THAI BOAT IS SO BOOOOMB. I love it ! Lots of meat, spicy, flavorful. Highly recommend

Great food, glad we stopped in!

First time, food is ready good, will be back again
Tasty food and excellent and friendly service!!
Delicious food, friendly and fast service. Very clean place..love it
Don't let the little place fool you. This place has the best most flavorful Thai food you have ever put in your mouth. Outstanding!!

So disappointed that I paid 20 percent tip and asked for chili vinegar sauce they didn’t give me any.
Was not open when it said it was
They need to change their frying oil
Best Thai food in SoCal! I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants and the food here is fresh, delicious and authentic. My favorites are the pad see ew, pad woon sen and khao soi. Can’t get enough of the pork jerky with sticky rice and chicken satay. Be warned, if you go spicy it’s no joke! Friendly service with a smile!
This is the best Thai food in Long Beach. We have tried several of their dishes and everything is good. Personal favorites include the Drunken Noodles and the Khao Soi. I love that they give pickled mustard greens and other condiments with their Khao Soi. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.
First time trying this spot. I ordered chicken Pad See Ew + Thai iced tea for takeout. Both quality and quantity of food/chicken was great, no disappointments. I was also handed my order by a welcoming nice lady. I’ll be back for more. :)
Authentic and delicious. I got my soup Thai spicy and man, was it great. So so so spicy, but the flat was awesome. We also got chicken dumplings, larb, and chicken fried rice ( for the baby). For so cal, it was also very cheap.
Great lunch special. I enjoy all the noodle dishes.
Great service small business but big service and big tasty portions.
Update Feb 2024
Continue to love this place. The prices have gone up and if you get a dish and drink you should expect to pay $20-25 per person. But that is par for the course for Thai food in LA now. But sadly just can't come as often with our own budget constraints

This is one of my top 2 places for Thai food in Long Beach. Excellent and authentic flavor, the right amount of spicy and decent prices make this place a gem.
The chef is from Northern Thailand so you can order dishes that are unique to that area, something that really makes this place stand out. I have never eaten such delicious Khao Soi (a northern Thai noodle dish) outside of Thailand.
Only dish I have had here that was just so so was the pad krappow moo krob (stir fry with basil and fried pork belly), but that is a novelty dish anyways.
Definitely recommend!
Delicious!
Excellent food and service
The Mongolian Beef was delicious & the Fried Dumplings were amazing with the sauce they come with. A cute little restaurant but boasting huge flavor.
Great food. One of the best Thai spots in LB.
Everything we got was fantastic. Get the Pad See Ew!!!
The pad sa ew smelled and tasted very burnt like smoke and Thai boat used to be good and now it is salty.
The Khao Soi keeps me coming back. The egg fried rice is super simple and packs a ton of flavor.
Muy rica la comida, buen sazón
Delishious friendly kind
My favorite Thai place maybe ever and I’ve lived in NorCal, NYC and the DC area. This place hits all the marks - food is excellent, everything we’ve tried is delicious including their noodle soups, curries, pad Thai, pad see ew and their Thai iced tea. Service is incredibly friendly and attentive where our needs are anticipated and requests accommodated. I love their ambiance as well with their elephant decor and my son loves saying hi to their clown fish (Nemo). Love having a reliable place nearby for delicious food!

They have the best northern Thai food, particularly Kao Soi
Rude customer service
They over cooked my deep fried pompano and it is hard, dry and inedible. I called to let her know that is was really over cooked and dry. She then says it’s deep fried. I explained that we get fried pompano all the time from multiple Thai and Lao restaurants and all she had to say is that she’ll let them know? Horrible service horrible food. My fiancé and I Had high hopes but was let down by this place would not recommend.
Thai tea
Sorry
All dishes are good.
Don't let the outside appearance deceive you. This place has the best Thai food in Long Beach.
If you're new to Thai food, then try their Pad See Eew. Their seasoned beef, couple with a fried egg on top will have you addicted.
If you want to try unique Northern Thai dishes, I recommend getting the Kha Soi beef. Its a curry dish coupled with coconut milk for that creamy texture. The beefs texture is like stew, and the combination of flat noodles and crispy noodles give a variety of textures. You'll definitely have fun with its flavor and crunch.

Four and a half stars.
Good food. Good variety of dishes to choose from. They had a little bit of Everything. Good prices for what you are getting.
Small parking lot in back.
Everything seemed clean.
The service was really good.
Definitely worth checking out if You are in the area.
The food was very tasty and fresh, the staff was excellent, helpful and very attentive. Must have Thai food if in the area!
La comida muy deliciosa y buen precio
First time. Shared fried calamari (really good sauces) and tom kha soup with shrimp. Clean place, great service and plenty of free parking in back.
Came here on a rainy day alone and let me tell you this place is great! I'll definitely be back with others to share this jewel. Delicious food, exceptional service, and great prices. Wish I knew about this place before!
Green chili dip. That is spicy yumminess
It’s our favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood . Delicious food and the best customer service . Family owner
Food is amazing, service is awesome. I typically get my food to go and it's always hot and ready when they say it will be.
The food is reasonably priced and the portions served are more than enough! The staff are very kind. Menus are QR codes on the table, and only accept cards/no cash. 10/10
The khao soi was so good
This place is better than I expected & this was my 1st time going. The wontons & combo fried rice is reeeally good. Spicy wings were okay but fried a little too hard. I definitely would go back & I would give it a 4.4/5
Fresh authentic Thai food. Friendly service.
We drove from Orange County to this restaurant. I first tried it when I lived in Long Beach and I had been craving it. It was better than I remembered. Can't wait to come back.
I love this place. Nice people. GREAT food. I have eaten in Thailand, and i used to eat in Thai town all the time, so…i have had some exceptional thai food to compare it to. You will not be disappointed. Try the crispy pork with chinese broccoli if you are into that sort of thing. Kap kuhn ka.
Plenty of choices from Thailand with an emphasis in the northern regions. The place is nothing fancy. You are not taken to Thailand with any settings or music. It felt as they converted a burger joint into a Thai restaurant, but the service and food was about as good as you can get for Thai.
I was really impressed with the Pineapple fried rice here. Larger shrimp and perfectly seasoned with curry spices. I also had the Thai bbq lunch special $12.50 for meat, rice, and soup. I'm yet to try as it took almost 40 minutes to make. A sign they bbq it fresh or were they out of chicken and had to run to the store ? I'll go with the former, but let you know later.
Delicious food and the thai tea tasted fantastic!
Food quality has gone down from the last time I was there
Rica comida fresca
Delicious food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend the papaya salad and yellow curry. Also there’s parking and a patio. Love this place! :)
Best Thai BBQ plate in long beach!
Very clean dinning and friendly staff. Great menu choices.
Full house. Busy. The waitress looks overtired and the service not as good as Macdonald’s. Taste Soso, less portion than usual Thai restaurants.
Several Thai restaurants to choose from in the area, but if you want the best Thai food you have ever tasted you must go to elephant Thai. I work in the area and have several coworkers who are Thai or Khmer as well as customers, and they all agree the most authentic best tasting Thai food comes from elephant Thai!
Best Thai in Long Beach!
Outside looks like a beautiful place but when you get inside, is not. At least restroom was clean and food was very good
Ordered pad thai with shrimp and yellow curry with chicken. Both dishes exceeded my expectations. Their pad thai doesn't taste sweet, unlike most other Thai restaurants, and I love it! The curry is very flavorful and it's on the spicy side.
One point was taken off because the driveway was blocked by a parked car and we couldn't access the parking lot in the back. We needed to drive around to look for street parking.
First time eating here.. food fresh authentic.
I ordered a plate of spicy beef with chow main and vegetables and while I will say the flavor was there so it tasted good , but I was HUGELY DISAPPOINTED with with the quantity of meat on my plate they REALLY short you when it comes to the beef. there was A MINUSCULE amount of meat on my plate and since I'm a carnivore I REALLY HATED THAT. I definitely will NOT be returning to this restaurant
Love their beef pad thai plate, super delicious and filling
Friendly staff, good vibe place and amazing food
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Nice place to grab a Thai bite to eat. I had the seafood soup w/my son and steam rice and liked it!
Prices are accessible, place was clean, service could have been more prompt! Elephant's parking was full!
I still recommend!
Delicious, flavorful dishes! So good I didn’t have time to post a picture!
2 weeks ago, I came here for the first time, and ordered takeout and was told it would be 15 minutes. It actually took LESS than 10 minutes.
I ordered hot and sour soup with chicken, veggie egg rolls, and fried wontons. My husband LOVED the hot and sour soup, and the veggie egg rolls were wonderful!
The fried wontons were crisp and delicious, and the sweet and sour sauce had a nice flavor.
Tonight I ordered some more Hot and Sour soup for my husband, and added the Wor Wonton soup and Kong Sarong for myself.
The bean sprouts in the Wor Wonton soup were a crispy
and pleasant surprise, and the Kong Sarong far exceeded my expectations. I'm not sure what I will order next, but I am sure that I will be delighted by whatever I decide to order.
Good food always
Its the best thai food in Long Beach!
Gr8 thai food and service
Best thai food in that area
Best wok taste is the lick and good food total! Really good experience.
I love this place. Every thing is amazing
Great joint to pick up Thai foods. Highly recommended.
Great thai food. One of the best in long beach despite their location.
My second best food restaurant first best is Thai sky
OMG!!! The food was extremely salty. Terrible!
Chicken curry is very good
The food and service here is incredible and they have the best egg rolls I have ever had in my life. They have many delicious dishes on their menu. I highly recommend the eggplant dish and sticky rice. My friend loves the curry. Give them a try. They never disappoint.
Clean restaurant, reasonable prices and tasty Wonton soup and curry.
Delicious food. Great service.
The food is delicious, portions were not the best but taste made up for it. We really enjoyed the meal, try it and see for yourself. I lived in Thailand so I think I can safely say they serve authentic food.
A little pricey. But very good
Great food and service! My GF and I have a 10 second rule to pick something new we've never tried. Elephant Thai Kitchen was an amazing first choice. Definitely recommend sharing your plates so you can order more. 😃
Food is good and they have rear parking :)
Masks and gloves on and the food is good! Duck noodle soup. Yum
The chicken panang curry, moderately spicy, is delicious!
My favorite thai food in Long Beach. Gotta say this is one of the best ones in the LBC. Always coming back. Highly recommend to everyone.
Is good
Best Thai food in long beach hands down
Great service good thai food!
Drove by yesterday and it was closed.
Hope it opens soon.
My new go too thai place
Chicken Pad Thai was decent, just not very spicy as requested.
Great quality food. Worth a try!
Their social distancing game is on point. The credit card reader is probably 6 feet from the cashier and there are separate cups for new and used pens.
Best Thai food by far.
Food was not that good and slow service
This is my go-to Thai restaurant, especially when I am craving authentic northern Thai cuisine like khao soi, larb, nam prik noom (roasted green chili dip), or gaeng hanglay (pork ginger curry). The family running this place is from Chiang Mai, so you know it is legit. And be ready for some serious heat if you ask for your food to be spicy (although sometimes you really have no choice).
Delicious
Consistently great! Won Ton Soup is the bomb! Lunch specials always spot on.
In general it’s good although a little bit too sour to me. Pad tai and green curry are the best. We order mild but the spicy squid salad and ton yum soup are both too spicy to us. Very popular and have multiple chooses on menu, worth trying!
I've only been there once and everything was delicious. The only thing that was kind of rough was their order out to go food leaks really bad.
Great Thai food. Delicious Pad Thai and tasty noodle dishes. I like this Elephant restaurant. Recommended.
I'm fond of the red curry with tofu.
If you like Thai food. Eat here!
Great soup & food had lots of flavor.
Delicious 👍🏻
Better than most in LBC, so tasty and delicious, best sticky rice!
