Thai food is amazing! And I love yellow curry over white rice. So besides the vegetable soup I also got the curry and rice. It was pretty good! Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I also think for the price you should get a bit more of everything. I was given extra broth but I’m not sure if I was charged for it or not. Thai food is never cheap anyway and if it is, it’s normally garbage. So I think it’s fairly priced here and the food is good quality.

I would definitely come back again and I think this place is great for some Thai food while in the Bixby knolls area.

Hi everyone! I have not had any food yet because I'm always in a hurry. However, I have gotten Thai tea and iced coffee and they are just delicious, rustic, bold flavor. I just wish the amount of sugar were much less since they are incredible sweet because I want my desert, too. But I'm always unable to have them both. I always have to decide between their coffee or a piece of cake😔🍰 🤤 ☕

This was a cute restaurant and our server was nice and attentive. Loved the Thai iced tea and I wish we'd had room for some of the appetizers because they looked really good! The portion sizes were great for the price, as well.

The atmosphere and ambience were perfect for our gathering. The place was clean and in a good location. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Beef dish was awful, tasted old and microwaved last minute. Was not prepared fresh.

Chicken satay smelled like fish and tasted awful.

Ended up throwing everything away.

Came here on a whim the inside looks very pretty and it was quiet around lunch time I ordered togo and they were happy to help us we got the pad thai and honey duck both were amazing dishes but the best part for me was the yellow curry fried rice the flavors were so addictive it made me hungry again and again I finished everything we ordered I am so satisfied by this spot it was wonderful fresh and hot when they gave it to us and still tasted great 2 hours later please try this place there is parking nearby and it was a great surprise to find such a delicious hole in the wall

When my previous favorite Thai restaurant stopped making vegetarian pad thai, I needed to find a new place, and this was the only restaurant that measured up. The food is delicious, and I love that the lunch specials are more balanced in both variety and portion size than I normally see at a restaurant. Extra shout out that they've recently started using more eco-friendly takeout packaging. Their plastic stuff was high quality, and we reused it, but there's only room for so many of those.

Always have good food. We get delivery, always happy.

Great food!!! Amazing sauces and authentic flavors! Not your average Americanized Thai flavors. Have had, pad Thai, drunken noodles, papaya salad, Tom Ka Gai soup, chicken soup, Cholada rolls. The fried calamari and the fantastic basil (so crunchy even with takeout) chicken wings were great!!! Can’t recommend enough because most Thai food I’ve had in the last couple of years has been over cooked and under seasoned.
I Love the intensity of flavors of their sauces at Cholada. If you prefer more mild flavors you can Mix any of their brightly flavored sauces with their mild peanut sauce for more muted delicious flavors. So happy they are only a mile away for takeout or dine-in. Can’t stand the Grub Hub charges for delivery so will not get delivery but worth the regular prices. Great food.

Beautiful cozy unassuming place in topanga next to the highway or whatever the name is over looking the ocean. Authentic thai, nice portions love the vibe of topanga restaurants ocean front.

Was so sad to see the previous place no longer at this location, decided to look at the menu and realized anything you order now is $5 dollars more, I’m not sure if this place is the same branch as the one In Malibu but they should have left those prices in Malibu because this place won’t last here.

I really enjoyed the exceptional Thai cuisine prepared here - all three times, so GOOD! Waitress was such a delight everything. Thank goodness for this neighborhood gem.

I've been back several times since the comments above were written. On this most recent visit, I tried the Pumpkin dish with eggplant and it was simply delicious. Be sure to order this if you like pumpkin because it might be offered only seasonally.

Was hoping it was good got chickn with pineapple rice ..for me is tasted like mexican orange rice we make 🥴 and they just added raisins n nuts

I love this place. My family ate Thai lovers. I’ve never been a clean plate Thai eater until I ate lunch here. It’s become a regular place for me. Fresh crisp vegetables and good sauces and flavors, etc.

The food is amazing. I was hesitant to come after the change of ownership, however the food tasted great. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved the food!! My family and I were a bit worried because of the change of owner but the food is even more delicious than before. Service was excellent much faster than before. We finished after they were closes and they were still really nice and attentive.

Very disappointing !
We were excited to try Cholada as we loved the previous restaurant. Unfortunately everything we ordered was bland and had zero flavor. Will not be going back.

I was so intrigued when our local Thai restaurant was being taken over by new management. We ordered and I am happy to report this Thai restaurant is soooo delicious! We tried a wide variety of dishes (pad thai, drunken noodle, pad see ew, cholada wrap, thai beach salad, mussaman curry, mango with sticky rice) and each was outstanding! I can't wait to come back for more!

So fresh, so well-seasoned, from the Tom Ka soup to the sticky rice with mango.

Fresh foods! Delicious yellow curry shrimp with fried spring rolls and satay that was perfectly moist and seasoned. Pad See Ew tofu was devoured immediately! Gem in Bixby Knolls.
