Traditional Thai Food
The service was absolutely incredible - they were so friendly, sweet, and patient. Food came out fairly quickly and everything had amazing flavor. They’re great to customize things to how you need as well.
The khao soi was so rich and creamy, the preserved vegetables in it were perfectly salty and slightly tangy. Tom yum was spicy and so sour, was also really great. The pad woon sen was AMAZING and is my new favorite Thai dish now. The shrimp was tender and flavorful as well. Was my favorite dish at this lovely spot!
I’m in LOVE~ It’s generally easy to always order the “same old, same old.” My first time here I felt more adventurous and ordered the “Kao Soi”. Before my order came out I noted that the table next to us, all three folks had ordered exactly the same dish. Best decision ever! I slurped it all up and took home whatever sauce was left in the bowl…
I actually went to this place about a year ago and finally went back recently cause once I started thinking about the Kao Soi again I had to go back to satisfy the craving. Remembering how cute this place is (my photos don’t do it justice) I wanted to post a couple so more could see the “charm” it’s super cute and the staff is nothing but friendly. Huge recommend come here and find your new favorite thing!
*note the dish itself is not spicy, but you can add the condiments it comes with and punch yourself in the face. Delish if you can handle it~
One of the best Thai meals I’ve had. The service was really good as well. Got both the Crab Fried Rice and the Kai Soi. Both were really good. Just be extremely cautious of the chili sauce they give you, a small dab will be sufficient as it’s pretty much Thai Spicy and will melt your tongue off if you’re not cautious with it. But super good food!
Wow this place is phenomenal! Incredible food, unmatched service, and great atmosphere. Poppy is our new favorite waitress! She’s so patient and friendly. My friend combed through Google Maps for the best Thai place around and her work paid off big time. Do yourself a favor and get the tom yum, pad woon sen, or actually probably anything—it’s all so good. I have leftovers sitting in the fridge right now and all I can think about is when I’ll be hungry again so I can go eat it. Go to this place and you’ll be so happy you did!
Came here for dinner and ordered: Kai sao, chicken friend rice, and pad thai. Everything was delicious that I can’t choose a favorite. Oh yeah, ordered a large Thai tea…and it’s LARGE, definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so big 😂
Will definitely be coming back to try different entrees.
My sister brought me here after her yoga class, and might I say this place is worth the hype!
The staff was SUPER friendly, attentive!!!
We got the drunken noodles, pad see ew, crab wontons, and crispy pork. All the food was made so good. Silky noodles, tender meat including the orange chicken. We also got the thai ice tea and thai iced coffee, which is super addictive!
Of course, to end any exceptional dining experience, we got the mango sticky rice. De-freakin-licious 🍚 🥭
*I would have taken photos of the other dishes, but they looked too delicious to waste any time with my phone!!!* 🤣🫠
fantastic locally owned spot with delicious food and great service! we ordered the veggie egg rolls, Thai iced tea, beef pad see ew, cashew shrimp and honey chicken. everything was amazing, affordable pricing and large portions
can't wait to go back soon, this is definitely one of my favorite spots in long beach :)
Eggs Rolls and The Drunken Noodles. Food is always fresh and good!
My family and I love this place, delicious food, good portions, fast and friendly service
Little parking on street. Good lunch type of place but not a great dinner atmosphere just so that you understand the atmosphere. Don’t let that hold you up, the food and service is top notch. Every item tasted good.
Went on Xmas Eve with my boyfriend so we could eat before a long night of wrapping gifts for our kids. Food was delicious and the service and vibe was great.

I love this place because the food is incredible and service is amazing. I came here with my wife and overall great vibes here to have dinner with someone. I highly recommend the mango sticky rice as it is a perfect way to conclude dinner. Highly recommend this place overall.
Authentic cuisine with local flair

Randomly picked this place , small but the food is soooo good and the server is so friendly.
Great, family run Thai restaurant . Kind service every visit and one of my favorite local spots! Love their Khao Soi
My order: Thai basil fried rice with chicken and vegetable very flavorful. Clean dining room and restroom plus kind prompt service. Parking is limited, may need to walk a few blocks. Worth the walk.
Paket siparişi için 30 dakikadan fazla bekletildim, önceden sipariş verilmesine ragmen, so bad experience
Food was so authentic! We ordered the kao soi curry and it was soo good. Best Thai food I’ve had in my life. 10/10 will be coming back. Service was great, atmosphere was fun and prices were good. Keep it up guys
Only thing I loved was Thai tee and mango sticky rice
Soup was basic
And pad see ew was better then most places but still basic
Atmosphere was lacking
We felt like we were back in Chiang Mai. Amazing food and hospitality. Kaho soi and pad see ew are fire

Our grandson told us about Charm Siam Thai restaurant in Long Beach. All three of us went there to eat, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with a huge smile from a very friendly waitress. The food was so delicious and the prices are not bad for the portion they give you. We will definitely go there again.
Please turn your music down!!! its so hard to think. Other than that the food was delicious!
This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Long Beach. The service is AWESOME. Nice music. Prices are perfect.
the food is on point. and they have spice scale from 1-10 so you already know what it is. not of that mild shieeet!!! they also super nice and hospitable. we came in there late af(which you know ain’t so GREAT) however they was moving like it was 2pm! calm and diligent !! it’s a nice spot. could even be a safe spot. not too bougie not too shack-y JUST RIGHT. but nah the flavouuurrrr was no bull 🐂
- Great seafood tom kha soup.
- Fair prices.
The food is incredible and the staff is very polite. Service is quick. I live in the neighborhood so it’s my favorite place to walk over for a quick dinner with friends or pick up take out. Good vegetarian options. My only request is please make cream cheese wontons without crab!!! I would order them if I could get it vegetarian. Thank you!
Food was ok
Finding parking took nearly an hour
Good food. Sauce a little too sweet and not enough veggies in the mixed veggies dish but great flavors. The edemame got burnt to hell and back with butter. Awesome service. Friendly and clean.
I’ve been looking for a good place to eat in Long Beach away from the chains by the Pike and I was very pleased with Charm Siam. My friends and I got the Boat Noodle and Pad Thai, both were flawless with flavor you won’t get anywhere else. I was pleased by the menu, many dishes were authentic and sometimes harder to find at other Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Our servers were kind and attentive. Excellent place to eat and my top choice for Long Beach. Prices are reasonable, rarely going above 15$ average.
Wanted a quick snack before my chiropractor appointment. Saw this cute place nearby and decided to get something from here. Originally wanted some wings but it would've taken too long. Ended up getting crab cream cheese wontons and a large Thai Iced coffee. So glad they had thai Iced coffee as not many thai places over been to has this anymore. The wontons were great. They were nice and crispy and decently sized. The coffee was very refreshing.
Great service good food 🥘
Small place with great Thai food. Try it yourself.
Delish, The kao soi and pad see ew were dreamy noodles. Never had bbq pork with thai food before and it was so good.
Fast service
My friends and I have been there a few times. It was worth driving for an hour to have delicious food with excellent services. I couldn't eat spicy food, and they were happy to make me a new dish. Thank you for taking care of us in good manners.
Good hole in the wall neighborhood spot for Thai food. Difficult parking, is the biggest downside. My partner loves their boat noodle soup. If you order the Khao Soi, you have the option to ask for it with steak instead of chicken. The taste and flavor of the chicken is delicious, but it feels odd to be eating sliced grilled chicken breast over the noodles, that's just me. Service is good as expected for a small family run establishment friendly and welcoming.
Really great spot for Thai food.
Got the Crispy Pork and enjoyed it so much! Crispy and savory!
Boat Noodles had a plethora of meats and organs! I enjoyed it and the flavor is great. It is a bit sweet but it balanced out the dish!
Khao soi was pretty good too. It was creamy from the coconut milk. I've had better Khao soi but this one is pretty solid.
Tom yum was also ordered and it took a while for it to arrive. It was really good though and warmed my soul!
I recommend if you are in the area. Also very gay friendly. :)
The Tom Yum was ok. Standad fare; nothing too special The fish dish featured almost more batter than than it featured fish in it. Sorry to say that but the food didn’t feel fresh or healthy to me. The taste profile seemed one-dimensional.
The observant reader might wonder about the 5 STARS. I made it my approach to support most local businesses that are small with a 5 star rating by default. It’s already hard enough for small businesses to survive in today’s economic climate.
The pineapple fried rice is authentic and AMAZING!!!
The staff are VERY nice and have always taken good care of me when I eat there.
Best spicy beef salad in LB!!!!
Delicious food!!!!! Thai owned. Beautiful intricate decorations too!! Lgbt+ support. Perfect combination!
Curry, pad see ewe, cashew chicken. All wonderful.
Was great
Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! But I'll start by saying the staff is some of the nicest people you can meet! Very warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home! I know there are a lot of Thai places to choose from in Long Beach, but this one tops the list! Thank you guys for always committing to nothing but the best quality for your food and your customer service! For anyone in the Long Beach area looking for a delicious Thai spot, head on over to Charm Siam!
This place is not good and probably busy only because of drunk people from bars. The egg rolls are mushy and flavorless. The beef soup was full of MSG and probably some weird packet of seasoning. I've never had a beef soup with noodles that bad. Anywhere. Ever. I'm not sure who eats here that enjoys it. Maybe iI missed something?! It was just not worth any money.
This is a true definition of comfort food!
Located in Long Beach, Charm Siam is a quiant restaurant offering authentic Thai dishes that will really warm your tummy and soul! You also feel the warmth and hospitality of the staff as soon as you are seated! Food comes out pretty fast which is amazing knowing that you get freshly made food!
We loved everything we ordered here and will for sure be our new go to for Thai comfort food!
What we ordered:
1 Crab Fried Rice- generous crab meat in the fried rice and you can tell was made to order.
2 Shrimp Tom Kha- Coconut Shrimp soup is amazing as it sounds, has a little kick to it but not intolerable, my 3 yo loved it!
3 Garlic Fried Fish- a new staple to our order! Love the perfect crunch and garlic taste of the fried fish, comes with a sauce but you will be good even without it!
4 Chicken Satay- my kids go to, was executed perfectly, I think it's safe to say these are now my kids fave!
5 Garlic Noodles with shrimp- surprisingly so tasty, although this might be a fusion and not Thai based, the marinade in the shrimp was so simple yet you so tasty.
6 Drinks- Thai tea and Charm Lemonade that you need to order with all the yummy food!
This is the best Thai place for me in Long Beach. Also note this place was busy for a weekday night!
Really tasty! Will come again
Server forgot one entree and mixed up shrimp with tofu on the other. Seemed completely unbothered by the screwup either. Drinks took forever to arrive. I would strongly avoid this place with another decent Thai option right next door.
Ridiculous service tonight. Waited over hours to eat. Even though seated, we still waited over an hour to get served. I felt it was catered more to togo orders than guests. Eventually we sat up and left after asking guests who we saw waiting for their food when we signed up for a table and still didn't get their food when we sat and ordered. Most guests kept looking at the servers for their food.
Drove from simi Valley to eat here. And they didn't disappoint . We ordered penang, pad thai, crab fried rice and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. From taste to texture. Everything on point. WOWmazing
Best thai food in long beach. I am hooked on this place since trying it about a month ago. Perfectly prepared dishes... great flavors and cooked correctly. Small, very casual, family run, great service.
Awesome Thai restaurant here in Long Beach.
The food makes you travel to Thailand at the first bite. We particularly love the Tom Kha soup!
You finally have to meet the owner Nititat to understand that everything is made with passion and kindness.
What a great new local restaurant for Long Beach.
Pad Sew and orange chicken were incredible!
Charm Siam - Your Thai Ticket to Flavor Town
Ever strolled into a spot and smelled authenticity in the air? That's Charm Siam for you, where Thailand's spirit meets a hip vibe.
Kickstart your feast with Crab Cheese Wontons. Yes, cheese meets wonton meets crab - and it's as delightful as it sounds. Little pockets of joy for all ages!
The Fried Chicken Wings with Garlic Sauce? Absolute crispy bliss. A bite of this, and you're soaring over the streets of Bangkok, where garlic is gold.
Dive into the Garlic Noodle Shrimp for a twirl of true Thai street food soul - it's the kind of dish that'll turn first-timers into die-hard fans.
Then, there's the Green Curry with Soft Shell Crab. Imagine eating the whole shebang, shell and all - soft, crunchy, and swimming in a curry that's pure coastal dreaminess.
Blue Hawaii Lemonade is your tropical reset button. It’s cool, it’s blue, it’s a sip of sunshine between bites.
Now, the grand finale: Tubtim Korb. This bowl of water chestnuts in sweet coconut milk is your 'happily ever after' to a dining saga.
Charm Siam isn’t just eating; it’s feasting with flair. It’s the kind of place that feels like a find - one that turns 'let's eat out' into 'let's go back to Charm Siam.' Go once, and you’re going back for seconds. See you there, where "eating" is a euphemism for delight.
SO good!!!!
Last night, we got egg rolls, pad see ew, spicy eggplant with zero spicy (you can choose from 0 to 10 of spiciness). It was almost closing time, but the server was super nice to take orders for togo. All for veggie options; we chose all tofu. I love fried tofu, and I had the most perfect tofu ever. Crispy outside and tender inside. I highly recommend trying to have veggie options for your meals. It took over 30 mins to get home and eat, but the food was still hot enough. And I was pretty sure that everything was cooked freshly. I couldn’t stop saying “It’s so good!”
I wish this restaurant would be located close to where I live.
Food was great and the vibe
Great massaman curry, Phad Thai and honey chicken (fried perfectly). Some of the best Crab Cheese Wontons we've ever had. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.
Excellent Vegetarian Thai Food in Downtown Long Beach. Vegan Curry & great veggie appetizer
Tables were very sticky, and the food was terrible. Never again. I hope they include. Thai food is delicious, but not at this place.
First time at this Thai restaurant and I’m glad me and my friend ate here, friendly service, good atmosphere, LGBTQ+ friendly and the food was delicious. The chicken sate was delicious with a flavorful peanut sauce to go with it and the drunken noodles didn’t disappoint. Will be back in the future.
Delicious
Amazing food
Amazing food
I ordered the chicken won tons and they came folded with more than just chicken. Fleas or ants were folded into the chicken breast which was not fresh.
We have been coming to Thai Silk for years and love the orange chicken, wonton soup, egg rolls, teriyaki salmon, papaya salad, and many of the other dishes! It is a family owned and operated restaurant and the server (Ivy) is so friendly and wonderful. We have always had great experiences here. FIVE STARS across the board!
My go to Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. The service is always friendly. The yellow curry is great.
Great service, good food and great quality for the price.
This was some of the best Tom Kha I’ve ever had outside of Thailand. Generous with the veggies and herbs. I was staying around the corner for a week and got this soup two nights in a row. Friendly staff and cute little restaurant. Highly recommend.
this is probably my favorite restaurant in long beach! i *rarely* go back to the same restaurant twice, but i've eaten here multiple times and am thinking ordering some now lol. best yellow curry and thai tea EVER! portion sizes are very generous. and almost everything can be made vegan – it's not common to see that on a menu! plus, the woman who owns it is an absolute sweetheart. i'm sure her husband is too but i've never met him haha
Your basic Thai food. I usually order from here when my favorite Thai place right next door to them (Spicy Sugar) is closed on Mondays. Watch out if you ask for spicy.. Our pad Thai was so ridiculously spicy that it was almost inedible. And I like a lot spice. Skip the almost chickenless wontons, there's more chicken on a Dorito.
We found this place when we got hungry at the beach and wanted something close by. It was pretty empty but I'm not sure why cuz the food was delicious! And great portions. Drunken noodles fed me for two meals. Can't wait to go back!
Muy amable la gente que atiende!!! La comida riquísima y son amables con la comunidad LGTB+
I love this food so much. Great curry!!!
Great food
A staple for Broadway in the neighborhood. The portions have become a lot smaller but if you want to grab a quick bite I recommend the soups or curry. As they are surrounded by bars and apartments the business does do well but it’s definitely the last pick. Teriyaki chicken is a platter of half chicken half lettuce served with rice. The broccoli and shrimp was very disappointing, about 5 pieces of shrimp surrounded by barely steamed broccoli smothered in bland sauce ($16!?) . Honestly the meals reminded me of airline food or microwave dinner, passable if starving but depressing. The flavors were dull and as if cut with water or vinegar (?)
I’ve come here before for the fried tofu and loved the dipping sauce with peanut but last night the sauce had an much more sour flavor and unfortunately I found/bit into a staple that was on the tofu! Very disappointed, wanted to treat myself and friends to dinner after moving, $60 bucks later we were still hungry, next time I’ll stick to the AMAZING Chinese food spot on 7th and Long Beach, huge portions, great price and never a disappointment…
If you want to try a really good Thia restaurant look up Naree on Ocean BLVD not only is it fresh, tastes yummy and the best service they have a wonderful lunch menu, no more than $16 for an entree with an appetizer and drink (entree is bigger than what they serve here and tastes way better no sour or rancid taste) don’t waste your time or money here unless you just finished bar hopping
fantastic locally owned spot with delicious food and great service! we ordered the veggie egg rolls, Thai iced tea, beef pad see ew, cashew shrimp and honey chicken. everything was amazing, affordable pricing and large portions
can't wait to go back soon, this is definitely one of my favorite spots in long beach :)
Got orange chicken. Chicken was so dry. So called orange dressing didn't taste well to me. I won't be back ⭐
Always always always the most delicious food. I love it because it’s close, and the food is always hot and satisfies me. Love Thai food.
I ordered from this place using uber eats it was pretty quick. The food was ok I've had better Thai. I ordered the Pad Prik Steak, Shrimp Pad Thai, Egg Rolls and Cucumber Salad. Everything was good however the portion of the Pad Prik Steak was like a lunch portion very light for $15.
Excellent food all the time
First time eating here. I'm a vegetarian and am pleased they can make many of their entrees vegan. And they know when you ask for vegan, that also means no fish or oyster sauce.
The drunken noodles come with medium spice which is great for me, but it may be a touch too spicy for those that can't handle that? It had crispy tofu and a variety of veggies. I also had the yellow curry and veggies egg rolls. Standard good food. Will be back.
I decided to order from Thai Silk when my normal Thai place was closed. Hands down best Thai food I've ever had. The food had fresh herbs and was freshly made.
I called to get assistance with navigating the menu as I'm gluten free (not by choice). Their accommodations were phenomenal. They were so patience and understanding.
Love this place!
Food is tasty, a bit on the pricey side. But the Garlic Pepper Tofu keeps pulling me back.
Amazing food. Excellent Thai Tea, or Coffee. I've been coming here since 2015 and they never disappoint, not once.
No me pareció muy limpio.
Not clean place.
I ordered their Miso Soup and it is DELICIOUS! 1. It's a HUGE portion, perfect if you're feeling under the weather. 2. It is just delicious I love it.
The Pad See Ew never fails to be delicious. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone that loves Thai food :)
Very nice place and the food delicious
Great delicious thai food and great service!
Delicious, clean and we'll attention service
Good Food made in a tmely manner for pickup.
Food is okay. Customer service is great.
Very bland pad thai. Didn't seem like they used authentic sauce. The concoction on mine seemed more like watered down ketchup. The chicken satay skewers I ordered were soggy on the outside, very tough and dry on the inside, and almost completely flavorless. Will never eat here again.
Very good food! Friendly staff. A definite reccomend!
ต้อนรับดี
Great stir fry and Curry
Hidden gem food is amazing.
Ordered take-out online for my first ever order from Thai Silk and it was SO GOOD. Online ordering was easy, the food was done super quick, generous portion size and excellent flavor.
Take out is packaged nicely and food was excellent. Drunken noodles are wonderful and I think their Tom Kha soup might be some of the best I've ever had.
Service is humble and great. Food is amazing 👏
Fine service, but the panang curry was so watery.. i make better at home. Probably won't go back as it was pretty expensive..
Delicious curry!
The best Thai food! I did get sick once, but this place is so amazing I was back the very next week!
Loved this place! Delicious food, conscientious menu (they state they can make anything vegan), and wonderful service. I will be back!
The food is delicious and fresh. They offer vegaterian food. I also have to compliment the staff. Thwy work so hard and do it effortlessly. They are very kind as well.
Tasty food and good price
Good food, fair prices.
Love this place! Don't know why I haven't reviewed this place before, but I just picked up some Pad see ew and yellow curry chicken and of course, as usual, it was amazing! Highly recommend!
The best yellow curry and pad see ew I’ve ever tried. My husband loves Thai silks yellow curry he’s come 2-3x a week sometimes when he is on a curry crave. By far Thai silk gives amazing generous portions, delicious tasty food for a great price. I can’t complain. Thai silk is by far serves the best Thai food. I recently met the owner Apple she is so humble and sweet was open to assist me. I have to say a successful business always starts with understanding management. Thank Thai Silk for always fulfilling my cravings.
Very nice food
Best "YELLOW CURRY" I've tried in Long beach. I just love it. I've been there a couple times but this is my first time trying the curry and its amazing. I highly recommend the Pad Thai as well.
Good food! Pra ram was very tasty
I came across this restaurant via TA. We ordered the chicken Panang Curry, spicy chicken eggplant and shrimp Pad Thai. All were absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend you come here to eat. Portions were healthy and flavor was on point. I ordered us all 3 plates Thai hot which I would say was scaled down however very spicy and GREAT FLAVOR!
Been coming here for 5 years and it's still our first choice when eating out.
Favorites: pad thai (duh), coconut soup (mmmmhmmmmmm), and drunken noodle.
Ivy is the best server. She is sweet authentic and soooo good at remembering our order. I swear we have messed up with other servers but saw her talk to them to make sure we get what we want each time.
Parking sucks so order take out bc you can't pass this place up. Its too delicious.
Consistently Great food
You miss Thai cuisine around East Broadway? You should come. I favored curry with shrimp. But plenty of choices you can pick for your scene or gut issue. Very nice operators. Delivery is nice (4/5) correct, but no claim coz I liked it. Very nice place to dine.
Great Thai food, recommend yellow chicken curry, and orange chicken.
Best Thai Food in the South Bay....maybe even LA county.
I ordered for the first time from Thai Silk and am always a bit nervous but the yellow curry made spicy with chicken was so delicious and fresh! The chicken wasn’t in cubes and gross. It was sliced chicken breast. I also very much enjoyed the miso soup. It took less than 30 mins to arrive. Highly recommend!
Good Thai food and great deal on wine.
We asked not to add too much sugar to our food and we got pretty nice dishes.
I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was very good😊👌
Red curry is awesome. Will try everything since it's a 3 min walk from me
Food was actually very delicious. Downside is its a tad on the higher price side which wasnt that big of an issue til we waited an hour for our take out while being the only ones in the restaurant. The overall experience really downplayed how delicious the food was. Which is a shame.
Good food. Reasonable price
Spicy chicken wings with jasmine rice is to die for, supposed to be just an appetizer, but I just usually order 2 of them, and call it a great meal!
Inexpensive but good food
Good Thai food loves the masaman curry and chicken curry dishes
Great food and service just a tad pricey but worth it because it's open late!
Not good. This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant but now the food quality is sliding big time.
Delicious Red Curry
I walk past this establishment every time I walk to work and ever since I've had it, I want to stop every time. We ordered some kind of fried wontons and they were amazing! I crave it often. Can't wait to try more on the menu. My only complaint was that we were the only ones there and our order took a long while to receive. But the food was worth the wait. Will be sure to order ahead next time!
Very nice server. Sweet!!!
