Familiar Thai take-out restaurant offering a menu of traditional dishes & online ordering.
Food was very good, I wish I knew how to judge Thai spice, my table mates ordered plain, mild.
That made mine a better choice too. I like hot but not burn my mouth. Service was quick. Atmosphere was homey in Mount Vista easy to find and park. I would have liked better spice explanations.
Decent Thai cuisine with tasted and wide variety of food, good place for business lunch.
We ordered chicken Satay and crispy fried tofu as appetizers: the chicken was a little dry, but the tofu is surprisingly good with the sriracha sauce.
For entry I ordered the classic Pad Thai, and it’s tasted like a nice Pad Thai you could imagine. Each entry also comes with one side salad and daily soup.
Located on the quiet end of town across from the post office, this authentic Thai restaurant is what you would expect. The service was excellent and very accommodating. We stopped by on a Saturday evening and we're able to get a table immediately and order shortly after. It was a little pricey for the atmosphere, but the food was good.
My daughter came two weeks ago and like the food. However today’s BBQ chicken has a wrong flavor. I put a picture of the BBQ pork that she ordered last time as a comparison. The rest of the dishes are on the sweet side. Fried rice is moist which my husband likes but not my daughter.
This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with friendly service and delicious food. My party tried a variety of dishes, including the chicken satay, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and panang curry chicken. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chicken satay was especially noteworthy, with tender, marinated chicken and a delicious peanut sauce. The panang curry was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spice and savory flavors. Overall, Thai Bangkok Cuisine is a great option for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Thai food in Cupertino.
Came by the spot for Father's day! Rounding up a 3.5 star experience.
No one was eating inside when we came in around 11:30 or so. We were sat immediately.
The four of us ordered:
-roti $12.99
-thai spicy chicken wings $13.99
-papaya salad $15.99
-yellow curry $16.99 another $1 for veggies + tofu
-chicken pad thai $15.99
-beef pad see ew $16.99
-steam rice $3
Food in general was a bit on the pricier end for the apps. I enjoyed the pad see ew. The other dishes were not too memorable, but average dishes.
Staff was attentive. It was nice, and a surprise they were doing a Father's day 10% off promo.
Parking lot in the back. Not an issue for us.

The food was good. But the way the waitresses behaved was not acceptable. I don’t understand about the tipping culture in this restaurant . Why someone should get upset for getting tip. When we wanted to leave both staffs putting pressure on me to tip and they were asking for cash tip as well. I thought tipping is a personal thing and it’s not really their business. Their food is pretty good but the way they behaved really changed my mind to go back to the restaurant.
Food is good that’s why we came here for second time. we came from international so we got surprised THEY INSIST TIP so many times at cashier and when we leave.
I thought tip culture is not mandatory is a money for good service. We can’t tip when I feel so many attitude and rush us up…. I hope they understand well.
Food is good.
Great service and good food
I love this Thai place. We have tried different things over the years and one of favorite is crab wontons. Pineapple fried rice, homok fish, pad Thai, all have been great. The servers are excellent as well in taking care of you.
The only downside is price. I cannot afford to pay $16 for crab wontons as an appetizer. An appetizer should be appetizer price and this place has raised prices significantly. I will be more selective in going there going forward.
Good food, quick service, great place for a quick lunch.
Note to self: this place has duck fried rice
The food was not good. PAD THAI with beef is terrible. The meat is very dry and old. The chicken is also not fresh . I would not want to be back there.

Food was excellent service s really good
Their yellow curry chicken is good. However, the place was too cold.

Amazing food. Had crab and seafood and all were fresh and delicious. Great staff and a terrific meal.
2024 - same warm service, delicious food, and a wonderful ambience for a calm Friday evening dinner with family!

2019 - Delicious food, but more than that, wonderfully kind people working at the restaurant. They even celebrated my daughter’s birthday by giving us an ice cream. We live in a fast paced and harsh world, it was simply awesome to meet some genuinely happy and relaxed people at this restaurant. Kudos!!
Like the place. I’m a regular
Get food, great people, great decor
Ordered :
Pad kee mow : 4/5
Thai fried rice : 5/5
Spicy fried rice : 6/5
Will order again : 5/5 , absolutely. This is currently our favorite thai restaurant.
This place is simply amazing for its fried rice, they are the best fried rice we have ever had, and even when we order them gluten-free and vegan, they are miles better than any other place.
Hands down our favorite thai place to eat. Downside is that their fried rice are so amazing, we have never had other dishes at this place.
The only caveat is that this is small place with limited staff, so if it gets crowded especially with takeout orders, the wait can be pretty long. We had come here on mother's day and it took around 50 minutes for our food to arrive, so best to come here on off hours.
Also, the portion is kind of small. Most other places we have leftovers, but the portion size here is about 30% less that the other thai places we have visited.
Tom Kha soup was delicious.
Every single time I visited has been another day I'm happy to be on earth. The staff are cheerful and devoted and the food is amazing.
The only Thai restaurant I care for in this part of the Bay quite frankly
Very good service, nice food. Overall great experience

I love Thai food, and I just passed by this restaurant the other day. Out of curiosity, I just dined here. I ordered green curry here, and it was very delicious. The people here are also kind and nice. You feel some at home atmosphere. I can see this place is loved by the local definitely since I saw many people stopped by food to go.
My daughter came two weeks ago and like the food. However today’s BBQ chicken has a wrong flavor. I put a picture of the BBQ pork that she ordered last time as a comparison. The rest of the dishes are on the sweet side. Fried rice is moist which my husband likes but not my daughter.
Really excellent Thai food. Outside seating is a plus.
Ordered Tom Kha Soup. Soup was so sweet and loaded with sugar. Why does anyone add sugar to soup is beyond my understanding. This is not little sugar to balance flavors. It is a truckload of sugar. Such a waste of money!
음식이 맛있습니다. 서비스와 분위기도 만족스럽습니다. 런치 메뉴에는 샐러드와 스프가 포한되어 있고 쉬림프 팟타이, 펌킨 커리, 똠양꿍 모두 추천합니다.
Great service. Great food.
Thai Money Bags was a unique and delicious take on a spring-roll like appetizer. The yellow curry chicken, BBQ pork, Tom Yum chicken hot and sour soup, thai chicken fried rice, and Basil Seafood were delicious as well. The portions seemed a little small for family-style serving with moderate pricing, otherwise, I would have given 5 stars overall
This is not a Thai curry place. It’s a Thai dessert place and they should market as such. Everything is sweet!! I also had hypoglycemic attack the other day!!!!
I enjoyed the pad thai. I would come here again.
Delicious Thai food - felt like a family run business. Could adjust the spice to your taste and very generous portions. Our go to
My comment relates to issues that affect all dishes, and not a particular dish.
The portion size was good. And there is a broad selection of items to choose from. But each of the items that we ordered came out overly sweet to our taste. We would prefer that less sugar or other sweetener be used in preparation of each dish
Second, the food was bland. Knowing this might be a possibility when ordering, we specifically ordered our food to be “medium spicy“, on a scale that included no spice, mild, medium spicy, and very spicy. Despite our having specifically requested medium spicy, near the top of the scale, every item came out mild, no hint of spice at all. This is disappointing to those of us who appreciate some heat in our Thai food, the way it is intended to be eaten.
I don’t mind a Thai restaurant in America toning down the spice level for we locals, but when we specifically ask for a higher level of spiciness we should reasonly expect to get it. We feel our instructions on the online ordering were ignored, which is not good customer service.
Great food, very friendly staff
Their roti appears to be heated frozen roti with some curry sauce. The little condiments with vegetables didn't taste like it was marinated in vinegar (to add an acidic element to cut the fat).
The noodle soup is comparable to pho + your protein of choice + fish balls.
My companion liked her eggplant dish.
If you come here for lunch and you don't specifically mention that you want the lunch option, they will give you and charge you the dinner entree option. Something you might want to be aware of when you get your meal.
Excellent food and service. They seemed to really care about making sure we had a good meal.
Excellent food. Good amount. Very tasty. Excellent service
We used to really like Thai Bangkok in Cupertino, it was our go-to Thai restaurant.
We went there on 7/24/2021 and it was a huge disappointment. The chicken and fish were over-cooked and dry to the point of being inedible.
No wait staff ever came over to ask how things were, nor did they comment on the uneaten food and the lack of our desire to take the leftovers home. I asked if the ownership had changed and they said no.
They did have a sign out front stating that they were trying to hire a chef so maybe the previous chef left.
I suppose that our first clue that something was wrong should have been that it was Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and the restaurant was almost empty.
A waste of money and time.
Excellent Thai food in the area. They offered good selection of vegetarian options without fish sauce in ingredients. I wish they had mentioned about kitchen closing cut off at the time of the initial order or checked with us for desert before closing kitchen. Leaving without desert didn't give us the 5 star experience
Updated review July 2021
This restaurant used to be reasonably priced, but ever since pandemic, their prices have gone up a lot. Also they used to not charge for Tofu in fried rice but now they charge $2 extra for it. A single fried rice with Tofu take out order is $17.50 including tax! That's a lot of money for a single dish
Thai Bangkok Cuisine is our favorite thai restaurant. Love the penang curry and yellow curry! The pad see ew is also very yummy, not a huge fan of the pad thai though.
Bought the beef drunken noodle dish. Tastes good, but the portion is 1/3 of what every other Thai restaurant offers. Really upset that I paid $16 for a dish that doesn’t fill me up and I have to go get something else to eat to be satisfied/full. I opened the bag and felt that I got ripped off. Paying $16 for a large handful of noodles….. how would you feel? The dish wasn’t even full, they filled 30% of the container with shredded cabbage and carrot. If you’re looking for a satisfying Thai food experience, this place isn’t it whatsoever. They’re obviously giving you the least amount of food they can per dish they serve. Here is a photo of the dish without the carrot and cabbage
We had the green curry (veggie) and it was PHENOMENAL. We felt that it was a flavor explosion. Would highly recommend to Thai food lovers. Nice atmosphere too.
Ordered Pad Thai, got an okay meal but tiny portion for a lot of cash.
I'm reluctant to try this place again, but I'll try it again and update this review
Excellent spicy chicken basil
We tried the Panang curry, Pad Kra Pow, Tom Kha soup & Thai ice tea...and EVERY dish we ordered was very tasty with classic flavor. I definitely recommend!
Good food
The Pad Thai is tasty!
We ordered some pad thai recently and it was amazing!! Would def recommend it.
The food is good, take out is quick, and the prices are fair enough. I would totally recommend this place for some tasty Thai food while you're in the area
My husband and I lived in Chiang Mai for years and this place is very Thai <3 Brings us right back to Thailand. Everything about it, every dish we've had, is amazing. Big portions, too!
The food is so tasty! Nice atmosphere, too. My favorite is duck curry, but any other dish is also good. I highly recommend this place.
Really good and tasty food with a homely atmosphere
Hosts are friendly
Food is authentic Thai and can be made as spicy as needed. Pineapple fried rice is recommended.
Fried Banana with ice cream is highly recommended.
Decent Thai food. Lots of options for meals. Was there for a group dinner - service was fast with healthy portions. Food wasn't too spicy, but additional spices are available if you want to make your meal spicier. Good, local place to have a meal.
Quick and tasty. Good service .
Nice place! good food!
Food was really good and they give you complimentary soup and salad! If you want the food to be spicy though tell them you want it extra spicy because the baseline spice level is hardly spicy at all.
nice & tasty.
The food and service are great. The water and Tom yum soup were not to our liking and thus 4 star
Generally good food however water they give seems from the tap, smells chlorine.
Decent Thai restaurant. Not to busy and food is not that spicy
Came here on a Friday night with my high school track coach with no line and was seated right away!
Food: We got the pad see ew, the stir fry veggies, and the duck curry! I really liked the taste of the duck curry with the stirred veggies and the pad see ew was solid.
Service: Probably the best part! The waiters were super patient and very nice to us in bringing us our food quickly and filling our waters.
Ambiance: This place is very classy, very much a classic Thai place and located right next to a highway and post office.
Overall, enjoyed this place and would come again! Reasonable prices but pricier for Asian noodles.
Good food, not too pricy
Good food, good service, and a small parking lot in back.
Great Thai food.
I rarely use 1 star, but I had to warn users of how terrible the food was.
Amazing!!! Real, authentic, tasty Thai food. Unbelievable!
Food is decent. Not as good as other Thai places. Service is mediocre
Not bad, will come back again
Thai food is good! We had some rice ,penang prawns curry , jasmine tea etc all of which tasted great. Service was nice. The only con was that place isn't big which means longer waiting times for larger groups.
Delish and fair prices with big portions!
Good Thai food with plenty of options for vegetarians. It is a very casual place
Starting with the service: The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, very satisfied with the service.
The Tom Yum Fried Rice was wonderful; aromatic and delicious. I felt it could have been a bit spicier and sour though, but overall I was satisfied with the dish. The duck curry was sweet and light, another dish I was rather fond of. The only part I did not enjoy was how salty the duck meat was. The bbq is probably what I found to be the least enjoyable dish out of the three I have tried. Not to say it was bad, but it was not particularly great either. You're better off ordering something else on the menu.
On break 3pm Saturday not listed
Being familiar with Thailand cuisine. This is very close to the really spicy Thai. Will I return to this restaurant for more? Absolutely!
The place is good with good service. I ordered red curry chicken which I thought was very sweet.
Average Thai food.
Ordered the Ginger prawns which was good.
Vegeterian green curry was not good. It was sweet and the taste was soso.
The sticky rice was mushy.
The regular rice was fine.
Fine Thai flavours attracts large crowd
Food is usually a hit or miss here, out of the couple times I've been. Sometimes flavored just right, sometimes too strong, sometimes too bland.
It's a good Thai Cuisine .It's pricey .Staff friendly.
This place seems to attract a decent lunchtime crowd from nearby offices. The pumpkin curry and Pad Thai are great. The servers are friendly. We've come here several times.
They're nice to let me and my friend stay during their lunch break because we really need a place to talk. Food is wonderful and the service too.
This is my favorite place to go when I need my curry fix!!
Good food great prices.
Very nice and welcoming staff. Very generous portion and food was great.
Great Thai Spicy Duck Fried Rice!
Esquisita comida
Very good Thai food. Tom Yum noodle was delicious, and medium is still spicy enough so strongly recommend to start from mild. Parking in the back of the restaurant and you can park along the street as well.
Very friendly, best side of Thai.
Food taste are below average. But services are marvelous. Price is the same with any other bigger and better restaurant
Very good food. Only went there once but would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
