Pictured is the Green Curry with brown rice from the lunch special. It was very filling and tasted great. The brown rice was not your normal brown rice, I felt it tasted better and was more filling and it tasted more nutritious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the curry sauce was delicious.

My favorite drunken noodles are from here - probably have reordered them close to 50 times now. Only complaint is I wish the portion was a bit bigger. Employees are always so kind, and the environment is peaceful and cute. Easy parking nearby as well!

Coming in from Hawaii, I visited my mom for the day in Los Angeles. She took us to this quaint little Thai restaurant off Sepulveda. My mom is extremely picky about Thai food (us being Thai) so I knew this would be a good choice. It is also "kid friendly "so it won't be too spicy for those that don't want spicy.
I ordered pad kee mao medium and ate maybe half of it because I didn't want to fall asleep driving back to San Diego (conference). It was delicious and I added extra peppers. I ordered a Thai coffee which was also good. My nieces all had different items and seem to enjoy it especially the noodle soup. My friend had the pad Thai and loved it said it doesn't taste like the one in Hawaii (where we live).
We came on a Friday evening and it was not busy. Parking is in the back and although it was limited we did not have a problem with two cars.

Delicious Thai food! The shrimp fried rice was a little bland for me but the shrimp tempura was perfectly crisp and so were the spring rolls. The chicken wings were crispy and seasoned well and the coconut soup was hot and delicious! The portion sizes are good and the food arrived quickly. Would definitely return when I’m in the area!

Lovely service, atmosphere, and food.

The servers were amazing: always checking up on us. We went pretty early, but it was already bustling with energy. We got the green curry, but we weren’t a big fan of it. However, their chowmein is really good. I loved that their foods had a lot of vegetables, and it was this perfectly seasoned. There are spices on the tables, and those are a nice addition to the meals as well.

Swanya is the best thai restaurant in Culver City. The food is amazing and flavorful. The service is always great too. Their lunch special is the best deal in town. If you like spicy food, order the Pad Kee Mau - it's fantastic.

I don't normally review food but this place is overly priced and gives so little food for the price that I had to come here and share this info. Not cool to pay more than you would at other places but get far less food. The containers were tiny and food wasn't even filled up all the way. If you value, "value", skip this place. Food was good but not worth the price in my opinion.

Place average. Not enough food. Server waitress host. Miserable attitude or something. It's like they want you to spend a lot of money buying alcohol or something.

This restaurant has tasty food. But unfortunately, our service was very poor. I had reserved a table for five, and we arrived a few minutes early and sat down. There were two waters already at the table, but no one came to our table, let alone bring us three more waters or ask if we wanted them! Menus were already there at each place setting, but no server appeared to take our order. I had to call someone over! I had to ask for service! This is not right. As soon as people sit down at a table, a server should appear to greet them. It was not that crowded, and the restaurant is very small. I was really shocked at this poor service. We finally got appetizer orders placed, and those were brought out without too much delay. When the main course meals came, they brought three, then one more, and then one more. I don’t think that’s right, either. All the meals should come at the same time. This is a small restaurant, as I said, and it was not that crowded, so there is no reason we should’ve had any problem. Perhaps they were shortstaffed, but someone should’ve come to our table right away, even if just to tell us that we might have to wait a little bit for more service. The customer always comes first! I hope their service improves.

It's one of my favorite Thai places in Culver city. My bf and I both agree. We love Thai food, and we've been to many restaurants in LA. Service is great, very friendly, kind people. Their desserts are delicious! And the atmosphere is nice and cozy.

Spending a lot of time is Asia, I must say that their food is pretty close to the real thing. Had the Chicken Fried Rice with a egg and it was delicious! Side of peanut sauce was also really good and authentic. Service is also very good. The young lady (Gale was the name she n the bill) welcomes you with a smile, super friendly and yet very professional. Big thumbs up 👍🏻.

Favorite Thai spot!

I feel bad leaving this review, maybe the restaurant is just having an off night? I was really looking forward to my meal. I ordered delivery and don’t feel like the quality of cooking was great. The veggie fresh rolls were mostly clumps of noodles with a few hard unchopped sticks of cucumber & carrot mixed in. the pad see ew had flavor but also black burnt chunks of egg all mixed in (looks like unclean blackened frying pan bits to be honest) 😕 I hope maybe this restaurant can do better!

Cute and quaint local Thai spot. I stop here after work before commuting back to OC. Good food, availability of beer and wine and easy service make these folk a no brainer.

Good reviews are from the old owners as I used to enjoy the food from here too. They use different recipes now. The food is bland and flooded with vegetables using very little meat in the dishes. Also had a very unpleasant smell.

We decided to give this place a try base on the 4+ rating. It’s a 1 at best.
We ordered pad thai noodles, yellow curry, and snow crab fried rice. The pad thai was a weird yellow color with very little flavor and like no pad thai I’ve ever had. The yellow curry is bland, bland, bland. A very pale yellow tasting mostly like coconut milk. Even the rice is bland.
I’ll stick with Bangkok Thai or Celadon for my next Thai order.

Super legit and delicious Thai food. We walked over from our Airbnb hoping for one of the outside tables but both were taken so we ordered takeout. Service was friendly and superfast. Tom kah was fantastic - creamy and tart and perfectly balanced with tender chicken, my husband and I both drank the last of the bowls. Pad see ew was tasty and not super oily with a good amount of broccoli. I really wished we lived here so this could be our neighborhood spot.

Ordered extra spicy chicken noodles and fried rice, it was really good and actually spicy as well.

Stopped in because I love this little town, needed to use the restroom but didn’t want to be rude so I stayed for a nibble. It was DELICIOUS! And the service was impeccable! The place was crazy clean and they sanitize everything g the food was very authentic and it’s a local spot. I loved everything about it they also have a very cute aquarium will be back.

It also took a long time to come though I don’t count that against Swamy’s because they had a lot of to go orders to deal with.Everybody else who ate with me loved their food, but I’m not a fan the dish that I ordered. The best Thai food in town. I’ve ordered from this restaurant several times now and there hasn’t been a single dish we didn’t like. The Tom Kha with fish is a must try. Also, discovered Kai Kua and it’s delicious!

Food is very good! Do not order the boba though, the tapioca pearls are severely undercooked. And they do not give you utensils with your takeout order unless you ask.

Have to say I was very disappointed!
This restaurant is pretty small and right now they seem very focused on take out so a good portion of the restaurant is dedicated to take out and there delivery partners. We ordered a few things. We started with egg rolls which came out hot and were pretty standard but tasty! We then moved onto spicy fried rice, beef Crying Tiger, and yellow curry. The -“spicy” fried rice, although good, was very bland so we actually had to ask for additional seasoning and ended up reordering which ended up being better than the 1st batch. The crying Tiger was a crying shame! Very sad and not at all up to normal Thai standards. The curry was very watery and lacked enough ingredience to give it any substance.
My biggest scare here was the cleanliness of the back area near the bathrooms. A little scary with food and dirty dishes just hanging out there in the open! If I would have seen prior to ordering probably would have walked.
Although not a total bust would not recommend or revisit!

ps: Order the Crispy Fried Banana. It tasted exactly like how my grandmother made it, and that was one of the happiest times of my life. Thank you for bringing that memory back.

Sooo, I am a travel nurse here in California and was told to try this place. Let’s just say the soup was Delicious until I noticed a BLACK BUG floating in it.!! Called and reported it and was told to send a picture. I sent 3 pictures, then I was told to bring the food back up there, which I trashed immediately after seeing the BUG.! I am a food business owner myself, why would I make my customer who is already upset after eating BUG JUICE, waist his or her gas to bring contaminated food back.? I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.!

Thai restaurants are very easy to judge. You pick a few staple dishes, sample, and judge based on that. Mine are chicken panang, tom kha kai, and pad thai. When I feel like it (which I always do), I get a thai iced tea or thai coffee. Their tom Swanya Thai Cuisine was arguably one of the best I've had. Panang was off and I didnt sample the pad thai this time around. I would definitely come back though parking is really annoying. But then again, it is in Los Angeles, CA.

Terrible service

Easily some of the best Thai takeout I've ever gotten in the LA area. I was really impressed with their presentation of the delivery and the flavor of everything. I barely finished my food before deciding to write this.

The cream cheese wontons were perfectly crispy and tasty. The Pad Thai didn't arrive dried outwout is common at other places I've ordered delivery from.

They made their Tom Kha Kai really mild at my request which was fantastic because my acid reflux can't handle a lot of spicey. Overall the soup was amaaaazing.

Stopped here for dinner while in town and had Pad Kee Moa with Shrimp,Shrimp Rolls and Tom Yum with shrimp...it was a shrimp night! Everything was delicious!! Really cute place. Love the fish tank. Limited seating but we didn't have to wait even though it was packed. They move people through pretty quickly but it didn't feel rushed.

Food is good prices are not bad free delivery for the 3 miles not a place I would eat in but I love when they deliver food to me.

Swanya is a lovely Thai restaurant (and massage next door but haven't been). My wife and I love their Pad See Ew with Tofu - comes with broccoli and fried egg all cooked together with just the right amount of soy sauce. We come here almost on a weekly basis. The staff is lovely and the ambiance is very nice. I definitely recommend this place. Their veggie egg rolls are great for appetizers as well.
