Went here for my mom's birthday and it was just okay. Service was great, i'll give them 5 stars. But the food was just okay, portions were small and the pad thai was just way too sweet. It shouldn't be so sweet. I thought there should be bigger pork belly pieces with the veggies, I could barely taste it and it wasn't crunchy. I really liked the fried fish bites, I wish I had more of it. The crab fried rice was just okay, didn't have a strong flavor to it.

Diner Review №2

I like their thai food. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere feels like home. I ordered take out and got their thai rice some seafood soup but I was disappointed that the soup did not have mussels. The thai tea was good very refreshing, I also got some rice but as some other reviewers mentioned it doesn't have the thai seasoning that gives it that color but the flavor is there. Oh and if you plan on getting some curry be advised that it is quite runny. But it's good nonetheless. I had to just eat it by adding it to my steam rice. I was definitely expecting more for what I paid but it's good to try. Hope to come back soon

Diner Review №3

There was good music playing the whole time my family and I were eating. We ordered the yellow and green curry, mild and very spicy respectively. The curry was sweet and only a little bit spicy. We also ate the satay chicken, the sause was peanut butter flavoured so beware of that. The water is lemoned flavoured. Overall 5 stars ⭐ There's also daily special menus for 10 dollars, we got the Sunday one. There's also free WiFi!! Spent about 60 dollars for 4 of us.

Diner Review №4

I just stopped by because they have a dairy-free thai milk tea. It was delicious even though it was super sweet! Not sure if their small size is worth $5.45 though…

Diner Review №5

chicken pad thai - 5 stars very flavorful.
in comparision, it makes noodle world's pad thai seem tasteless.

chicken curry 3.5 stars. ok but too watery. i prefer my curry to be more thicker.

pricing is about $12 per plate.
will repeat just for the pad thai.
staff is very nice. saw a lot of to go order but i dined in.
a hole in the wall gem.

edited: changed from 4 stars to 5, i rated based on the food that i purchased. but i really like this establishment. nice quiet dining place

Decent food and friendly service. The place is a little run down but spacious, and the food was good and fairly priced.

Diner Review №10

So yummy! They have great vegan options. I picked up a papaya salad and eggplant with tofu which they vegan-ized without fish sauce. It was ready in 20 min and very well priced, decent portions. I’ll be back 😋

Diner Review №11

BUYER BEWARE!!!
This place is a scam I ordered their "Special" for $10+ Tax and when it arrived I thought this was some Joke. It's not even a full meal literally 3 bites I took a picture of what I was given compared to a dollar bill and a quarter. This is a joke the only thing Special about it is how small this meal was. I tried to call and the person who answered said for me to talk to her boss and she even said herself "yea it's not alot.." but tells me to talk to her boss about it. I called back a few minutes later and some man answers and says oh well and hangs up on me.... great service...people stay away from these greedy restaurants who take your money and doesn't care about anything else once you pay them...

Diner Review №12

The food is better than I thought it would be. The chef also makes special orders if a person asks. Susie {the waitress} is the sweetest person. Always so pleasant and helpful. She greets you with smiles too. The place isnt upscale but is cozy. Nice and quiet. I recommend the Ka Pao with ground chicken and spicy. The mixed vegies with chicken steamed is also good. Now the thai tes is super... I recommend this place to all.

From Arizona to Losangeles i really want some spaicy Thai food so i found here HOLLYWOOD NOODLE. The foods are delicious the taste is original you can tell the owner what kind of taste do you want like spicy sweet sour or any you want. And the service from them is very nice. Warm welcome. Price also reasonable.

Diner Review №14

Delicious and delightful. Lunch specials, and they put one of their meals on special for the whole day

Diner Review №16

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! The food is delicious and will keep me coming back. Best pad Thai and Thai boat I’ve had around! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. We loved our server Susie as well. A sweet soul and very attentive. They have weekly specials as well and have parking available in the back of the restaurant. They have the best food! Try it for yourself (:

Diner Review №17

Diner Review №18

Pleasant surprise to find such delicious food and ambiance. The owner was very friendly to us. Im only sad that this is not closer to us. However, we will definitely return.

Diner Review №19

Good food, I only wish the plates had more food on them! Strange atmosphere but great service and yummy food! Definitely a must visit.

Diner Review №20

Hollywood Noodles in Arcadia offers a cozy, family-owned experience with a hole-in-the-wall ambiance. The friendly service and convenient parking in the back add to the charm. However, the food falls short of expectations. The pad sew yew noodles were mushy, and the Pad Thai leaned towards being overly sweet, not aligning with the desired Thai flavor profile. While the Monday to Friday lunch special at $12 is budget-friendly, the overall dining experience might leave Thai food enthusiasts seeking more authentic flavors disappointed.

Diner Review №21

Diner Review №22

Good food with very friendly service. You call ahead for in person pickup if you're pressing for time like a short lunch break. Reasonable prices, too.

Diner Review №23

waste of money

Diner Review №24

Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Arcadia lies a hidden gem, a haven for Pad Thai enthusiasts—this Thai restaurant is a testament to authentic Thai flavors in the heart of the city.

From the first step inside, the ambiance captures the essence of Thailand, adorned with traditional décor and vibrant colors that transport diners to the lively streets of Bangkok. However, the true star of the show is their Pad Thai—a dish that surpasses expectations and sets a new standard.

The Pad Thai here is nothing short of exceptional. The balance of flavors, from the tangy tamarind to the subtle sweetness of palm sugar, dances harmoniously on the taste buds. The dish is elevated further by the skillful preparation of fresh ingredients, whether it's the perfectly cooked noodles or the generous servings of succulent shrimp or tofu. Every bite is a symphony of textures and tastes, leaving a lingering desire for more.

Apart from the Pad Thai, the menu offers an array of traditional Thai dishes, each prepared with equal finesse and authenticity. The attentive and knowledgeable staff are keen to guide patrons through the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience.

For anyone seeking an authentic Thai culinary journey or simply craving an unforgettable Pad Thai, this restaurant in Arcadia is a must-visit. It's a culinary adventure that encapsulates the very best of Thai cuisine.

Diner Review №25

I go there every time I'm in town. Their food is the best!

Diner Review №26

Over price for spoilage meal. Would not order for take out again. Was given wrong noodles on purpose. To make matters worst, the veggies and noodles were spoiled. Thanks for trying to put our family in a hospital. Open for a lawsuit..

Diner Review №27

We ordered 3 different pan fried noodles, garlic rice, kra pao, and sticky rice and mango, and we loved every bite of our meal. The mango was so sweet! The portion is generous (except kra pao with tofu, we were not sure why it was such a small portion for $12, maybe the basil is expensive to begin with? But I woshed it had more tofu to bulk up this dish). We look forward to order from this restaurant again :)

Diner Review №28

The food is really delicious and good portions, our server was very informative, I highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №29

Awesome service...

Diner Review №30

Diner Review №31

Spicy food is good spicy would recommend, very spicy if you request the spicy food.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

The flavor on the food is good. I enjoyed it from prior visits but this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the green curry chicken, the flavor was good, but there was less than 2 oz of chicken, 3 pieces of potatoes, and a couple slices of onion. The bowl was just filled with curry sauced. The portions of orange chicken, pineapple seafood, fried rice, and chicken chowmain were also small. It is understandable that there is high inflation, but the prices are not cheap. It is a bit embarrassing when you have to share this with the family. The waiter was great, but they need to correct the food portions and perhaps increase their prices a little to compensate for the portions. This place has great potential, but it needs to get with the program.

Diner Review №34

It was my first time at Hollywood Noodle and it was a very good experience. I'd highly recommend it.

I ordered on the phone during lunch time on Friday, placed my order, and showed up to pick up the food. I met the owners and they were very friendly. There are lots of seating available and fun things to do while waiting for your order. I played a quick game of foosball.

Overall, the food and pricing were on point.

Diner Review №35

We all enjoyed that delicious food they make here and that sever Susie she was a super sever and one off mine child was talking to her and she was following his talking and made our day happy

Diner Review №36

Family owned restaurant serving delicious food , and friendly service .
Susie served us an was so nice and never rushed us to be done . Have been here twice and both have been great . We will return .

Diner Review №37

I ordered through Uber eats. The crispy pork image they have on photo is nothing like the order. There was like 5 pieces of pork and mainly veggies. Just awful portion.

Diner Review №38

I will share that the food is delicious 🤤 great service todays server was Felix he is a sweetheart .come out and try out there delicious food

Diner Review №39

Diner Review №40

The food was delicious, the staff was well served, the parking was great.

Diner Review №41

Order Duck Curry, sliced duck with a curry sauce, based on their signage. I received a soup container of Curry sauce and vegetables with less than an ounce of duck! When I showed them their mistake I was told as long as duck is in the container. Do NOT spend your money here.

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Diner Review №44

My initial order:
Fish cakes and Duck with rice.
Total failure
Then ordered
Pad Thai and eggrolls, thinking safer bet.
Failure again
Ordered Thai Tea to wash down failures.
Thai Tea Good!
Total $57.00
Tip $5.00
Grand Total $62.00

Fish cakes were chewy. Duck with rice was horrible; the duck was tasteless and was more cartilage and skin than moist duck. The pad thai with pork was disappointing in that the noodles were hot but the pork (what little there was) was cold. The pad thai also needed green onion and peanuts rather than peanut dust? Thai tea was good. I spent $62.00 on lunch and won't be back. I could have had a great lunch for less at President Thai on Rosemead Blvd.

This place use to be a good place to chow but seems nobody cares about quality and preparation. The old adage is you pay for what you get, well I paid and didn't get.

Avoid if you can especially since we are fortunate yo have so many options in the local area.

Diner Review №45

Diner Review №46

The food was so delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A really good spot for lunch with friends or for work!

Diner Review №47

Been coming here for 10 years still see so very good. The best yum neau beef cc salad panang fried we tofu, Thai Iced cc tea I really think this is the best intown paradise Thai is not as good. Quality usually goes down over time but not here. Clean friendly atmosphere.

Diner Review №48

Food was GREAT, service was nice and they appreciate your patronage, but the service was slow, and it wasn't busy on Wednesday night around 6:30 pm. But when the food arrived we quickly forgot how long we had been waiting.

We ordered:
Chicken Satay
1 Thai Ice Tea
Tom Kah Coconut soup with chicken&shrimp
Large steamed rice
$39 for two

**If you check in through Yelp you get a BOGO Thai Ice Tea offer**

Definitely coming back!

Diner Review №49

Loved it.

Diner Review №50

If you want it authentic this is not the place.

Diner Review №51

I spy a concealed Health Code grade that isn't an A!

Diner Review №52

My family and I have been coming here for almost 10 years. My husband's coworker brought us here. We ordered papaya salad and thai boat noodles. Both were amazing. They staff has changed here a few times over the years but the food remains great. This is one of the few places you can get thai boat noodles. The broth is rich and authentic! My kids and husband love the pad thai and pad see ew.

Diner Review №53

Was a great experience dining in for a Sunday lunch. Had the pleasure of being served by Felix. Enjoyed Pad Se Ewe with pork and a ramen soup with shrimp. Restaurant and restroom were clean and smelled good. Both Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee were quite tasty.

This is a Low-Key Very AWESOME Local Thai Spot serving the South Eastern part of Arcadia City.

This Beautiful Thai Lady here aims to please every customer. Outstanding Customer Service! Thoughtful, Not Cheap, Always Friendly, Sincere & Helpful.
One of My Main Points for me while Eating Out or Dining-In is CUSTOMER SERVICE. This IS The Service Industry after all, concerning Restaurants and Service.
Mind you, I've read some of the other reviews here and I did not experience what others have claimed.

Every single entree item that I have had on their menu has been pretty BOMB! Just Bursting with Flavors so I assume that they don't skimp out on ingredients as many Thai Restaurants do in America. Thai Food loses its Authentic Flavor when Thai Restaurants don't use every ingredient required in Thai Cooking.

Today, I went with a Kra-Pow Chicken with Eggs over Rice and a Thai Tea, TO GO. (Pork is usually always the best choice of meat for this dish at any Thai Restaurant but, I stopped eating Pork recently)

MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK HERE!!!!!

This Place is clean, spacious, with plenty of natural light here, lots of Parking out back. Decent Restrooms.

I believe on weekends, they have someone outside on the sidewalk dancing in a giant Transformer costume with bright lights. It definitely gets attention from passing traffic, lol.

They have a quirky technique of calling people back right away if they don't answer the phone, when calling-in an order for Pick Up.
ENJOY!!! 🙏

Diner Review №68

One of the best mom and pop thai restaurants around here. Very welcoming and great customer service. Their flavors are authentic and their dishes are absolutely delicious! The prices are very affordable as well.

Diner Review №69

Fantastic food. Spicy but very delicious soup, and the service, AMAZING. Felix you are the best, but daughters really loved the food and your kindness.

Diner Review №70

Delicious and authentic Thai food. I had the boat noodle and my girlfriend had the Hollywood noodle dry. As a Thai person I've been on the lookout for Thai food in this area and now I've found it. Owners are super nice and I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №71

Won't be returning any time soon. Tables outside dusty plus they took long to take our order. When our order came all. The food was in Styrofoam containers it was awkward to enjoy the food in these containers. Plus food portions smaller. The owner raised her prices NO MORE Lunch special and all dishes $10.00 plus not worth the wait or pay for smaller portions. Spend $40 on 2 lunches WON'T BE RETURNING.

Diner Review №72

Food is good and love the customer service little eva is so cute! Our favorite new spot!

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

I wish I can rate 0!!!! They pack the dish with soup like attached pic, and I take out the box the soup spilled all over me. This look like stir-fired pork on the menu unexpected lot soup come with. It would be terrifying if my child opened the package.

Diner Review №80

To slow. Really concern about cooks not wearing a mask.

Diner Review №81

I just ordered 4 fried rices to go and when I got home I was very disappointed. My tofu fried rice was simply big chunks of white rice with a little bit of onion and few pieces of tofu. So disappointed. I paid $48 plus $7 tip. What a rip off!!

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

The prices are different than online. Very expensive, not worth the price we had to pay. We ordered chicken skewers because we thought it would be 7, but it turned it to be 9, fried rice was 12, but it was actually 15 in stores, etc.
Also they blatantly lied about their sticky rice bring cooked in banana leafs. So that's not really cool.
I won't be coming back in the future.

Garlic rice was good though. So I guess you can go order that?

Diner Review №84

What a disappointment!!! The Chow Mein was made with 99c Top Romien and the Duck Curry consisted of duck skin only. A waste of hard earned money. 😵

Diner Review №85

Be careful with your bill!! They might overcharge you.
I've ordered a curry beef with rice, which is $9.95 on their menu, plus tax (10.25% in Arcadia) , the amount should be $ 10.96. They charged me $12.07 instead. Which means they overcharge me 11% of my bill.
I've asked the lady behind the table if the number is correct and she said " Yes, that is the price with tax"... that's a lie and for me, that is what we called "stealing".... If you want to place your order there, think twice when you do business with them.

Diner Review №86

Way overpriced try to charge me extra $125 with the bill was only $84 trying to get extra money out of people

Diner Review №87

Great service

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

This was my very first time dining here. The food was delicious. We ordered the Green curry with shrimp, and egg rolls. The food from the very first bite til the end was full of traditional Thai flavors that was very satisfying to my pallet. The customer service was excellent and the wait for appetizers and main dish wasn't long at all.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Good tasty thai food

Diner Review №92

It's alright. Very mom and pop in its ambiance. That is to say that the interior isn't as inviting as the food.

Generally haven't had time to sit down for a meal but do like to order sides when I go for walks. They're pretty good. Have had the wontons, orange chicken and fried rice.

I can't speak on the service when sitting down or the plating, but they are very amiable whenever I do come in to order takeout.

Diner Review №93

The Hollywood Pad Thai dish was so delicious, moist, and sweet; you will not be able to stop eating it! I ordered the Glass Noodle dish at a medium heat level, but it was too spicy for me. The broth in the glass Noodle was comfort food nirvana. The Panang curry was coconut heaven. The Glass Noodle dish didn't have much protein, so order more if your expecting more protein ratios. Overall, a delightful neighborhood family business that I will visit again and again.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

My favorite Thai noodle spot in town. It saves me time from driving all the way to Thai Town to get decent authentic Thai noodles. Dishes I recommend are The Hollywood Noodle soup, Thai Boat noodle soup, Chinese broccoli with crispy pork and Fried wontons. Be careful when choosing your spicy level, they tend to be more on the hot side, so if you normally get mild, ask for medium and if you normally get hot, try out their medium first.

Diner Review №108

Simply homey place and great service. I love the seafood salad and also the duck curry.taste really great. I had a vood experience here and I'll be back for sure.

Diner Review №109

This is surprisingly one of the best Thai food place I know of. It's one of the hole in a wall that most people don't seem to know . Their food is less Americanized than let's say president Thai. Here are few item we tried :
-Crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. Definitely better than many other place where the pork is too hard. In alot of the places my jaw will be tired from chewing the pork and this place has done it right where it's actually crispy , not hard.
-Chicken pad Thai : good portion and not too sweet with a good flavor . Nothing too special here but still definitely good.
- beef Penang. I only tried a little bit of this one since I can't really eat spicy , but my party members definitely impressed by it as it's not too sweet and has a really nice spices scent .

Price is reasonable where the three dishes I mentioned cost me $35 after tax on June 2019.
So average food was about $10 which is really reasonable in these day.

Place is kinda hard to find since they don't have good signage . I've been here before and still wasn't sure if this place has changed name or not since I can't see the restaurant name from the street when you drive by it.

Good service, and the Pad Thai was great!

Diner Review №113

Wow couldn’t even take a photo! Really great spicy noodle soups! Family own shop so come down and support local business! Will come back

Update:
Started to come here a lot more and let me tell ya it’s consistently slow af with service you’ll prob spend 1.5-2 hours here.
I had to get in a back and forth pull with one of the waitress because I kept saying I want fried tofu and she kept giving me an attitude and a face and kept saying No you want steamed tofu until I was over it and just said fine because she made it so I didn’t really have a damn choice. (I’ve had fried tofu here multi times so idk what was up) because of her nagging at me to change the order I originally wanted she got my order wrong hahah. I waited a while for the soup and just to have the order be wrong made me frustrated. I got charged extra for their mistake as well.
I honestly really really love their food. Their spicy ramen soup is a A++ but the service makes me have to take long brakes till I forget how bad it is to come back. Hahah
I highly recommend if you have time to spare here.

Friendly, fast service but mediocre food. It was my first time here and I ordered panang curry and pad thai noodles at spicy level hot. It was spicy but not extremely. The curry lacked any complexity and flavor, besides the quintessential coconut milk. It wasn't terrible but it was nothing special. I wouldn't recommend this place nor will I be going back.
