Diner Review №1

The food is excellent—slightly on the pricey side, but the outstanding customer service and wonderful owners make it well worth it!

Diner Review №2

The staff makes you feel very welcome. Food was great. The Massaman Curry was exceptionally good. We'll be back for sure!

Diner Review №3

Magical place. He puts his whole heart into his restaurant and his customers. The food is also great and made with love.

Diner Review №4

Very kind people, but I do not want to eat here again. Sorry :-(

Diner Review №5

Hidden gem. Veggies cooked to order. Nice people!

Diner Review №6

Been coming here for years, can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it.

Great food, very accommodating for dietary needs. The owner Chuy is a complete sweetheart.

I love the curry fried rice, Panang and massaman curries, nam sod with tofu, thom kha, chili fried rice. Great restaurant

Thank you Chuy

Diner Review №7

The summer rolls were excellent. The green curry had just the right amount of heat. The service was friendly and responsive!

Diner Review №8

Lunch special is so good! We ordered orange chicken and yellow curry with chicken and was amazing, the prices are reasonable!

Diner Review №9

Visited this place for the first time. It's a small restaurant with 6 to 7 tables and booths. There was one cook and one waiter who I believe to be the owner. When we got there they were full. We waited about 15 min to be seated. We ordered the garlic stir fry and pad see ew which were good but we were disappointed with the one dish we went there for which was pra ram. The sauce was not what we were expecting. It's a peanut sauce but was lacking any peanut flavoring.

Diner Review №10

Like coming here been eating here for many years! Very friendly and food is fresh and tasty

Diner Review №11

Loved the Orange Chicken!

Diner Review №12

The food is made fresh, and it's
delicious. Fresh summer rolls made to order. The ginger chicken was tender with fresh crisp vegetables. It comes with steamed rice, so that's not an extra charge. The server is very friendly. Come have a relaxing meal that tastes like you are invited into their home.

Diner Review №14

I don't usually post food reviews without pictures, but this is the exception. Once I tasted the orange chicken I couldn't stop. And before I knew it I had eaten it all. In my opinion this is the best orange chicken!

Diner Review №15

I was in town on business and enjoyed a relaxing dinner. I ordered the Chicken Satay and Basil Stir Fry with Chicken. Both were wonderful with service to match. Look forward to returning when I'm in town again.

Diner Review №16

Update: Still our favorite Thai food place! There's something about the quaint decor, the warm hosts, and the delicious food that have made us permanent customers.

Prior review:

I think this is our favorite Thai establishment in Tucson now. Very friendly service, great food, and a cute atmosphere.

I loved the Bangkok Special Curry and my wife enjoyed the Pad Khee Mao with tofu, both dishes were excellent!

The spicy edamame is a great twist on the classic appetizer and the summer rolls were fresh and flavorful.

We'll be back!

Diner Review №17

Good, but a little bland.

Diner Review №18

I’ve been twice now, and both experiences have been great. The staff is attentive and friendly. The chicken Pad Thai, orange chicken, and rangoons beat other more expensive places in town. On my latest visit, I overheard other customers leaving, and they were all complimenting the staff about their first experience. When it comes to value, this place truly can’t be beat. The price, quality, and service is better than other dine-in restaurants but prices are better than McD’s or Panda.

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

The food is very authentic, very fresh, and very very yummy! This is one of my favorite places to go for Thai food. I've gone to many others and it's just not the real stuff. I wish they had the Satay though.

Diner Review №21

Diner Review №22

I wasn’t impressed by the food. The waiter was very gracious. I felt bad for the cook, she was all by herself preparing this enormous menu. I’m not sure what their specialty was. I got Thai fried rice with bbq pork. The pork tasted stale, it was a bit salty and lacking in flavor. I also got stir fried vegetables. They had no char from a wok, they were soft and over cooked as if they had been preblanched. They were put in a weak chix stock lightly thickened with corn starch, it was flavorless and not vibrant. I don’t think I’m going back. I was disappointed. I’ve been wanting to go there for a while.

Diner Review №23

Top flavor and service

Diner Review №24

My sister and I decided to have an early dinner here. Our server Chu was wonderful, he was so sweet and funny. The restaurant itself is very small, maybe 4 booths and a table. The food was good and we both liked the fact that the Curry wasn't too spicy but can be made more spicy upon request. We both had Bangkok Curry, Coconut Shrimp, and Summer Rolls. The sauce that came with the Coconut Shrimp was delicious. We ordered Peanut Sauce and both felt it was different than any we have ever had before, not bad just different. We ordered Sesame Chicken to go for our Father he said it was delicious.

Diner Review №25

Excellent food and service. I got the pad Thai and it was excellent. I got a fried rice meal to go and was a little shocked by the color of the rice due to its darkness but was pleasantly impressed by how well it tasted so I was happy. I judged too early. Shame on me! Get your order in now!!!

Diner Review №26

As a thai-lao person, I can say the food is decent and the hosts were welcoming. But our service dog was not allowed inside because we didn't have a "certificate" on us. U.S. department of Justice does not recognize any certifications or "proof" for service animals. I was too hungry to argue, so we settled down. They were only allowed to ask what tasks my dog needed to perform, but the man never asked. So be aware that your service dogs won't be welcomed. A thing worth noting for those of you who need your dogs to perform tasks for you. I relied on my husband being a former EMT for my medical needs, but my dog would've needed to alert my anaphaletic shocks that randomly occur due to my autoimmune diseases.

Diner Review №27

Diner Review №28

The coconut shrimp was wonderful!
I also had the avocado roll, it could of been colder but was still real good
The owner is super friendly and reason enough to go back

Diner Review №29

Food was excellent, we ordered takeout. The Thai Basil with beef was delicious. The chicken curry was also tasty, next time we order with a little spice. The pot stickers and coconut shrimp very tasty. The China Thai Bistro is a definite redo, so glad their new location is closer. The service was friendly, we had a great conversation with the host about Chang beer.

Diner Review №30

Great food. Unfortunately, some of the staff didn't show up for work when we were there for lunch so it took a little longer to get the food but it was well worth the wait.

Diner Review №31

We’ve eaten here twice. 95% of their menu can be made vegan. The food was excellent both times. The service was quick and the owner was super nice. Thai China Bistro is definitely vegan friendly and I would highly recommend them if you’re in the Tucson area. We’ll definitely continue to support Thai China Bistro. (The next time I’ll add photos). Thank you for providing great vegan options 🌱🌱🌱

Diner Review №32

If you want good atmosphere it’s great for Thai China Bistro in Tucson, Arizona has a 3.5/5 rating on Tripadvisor and 84% of people on Facebook recommend it but I what I think is kind of bland with less flavor and it’s seems we are sick after we eat otherwise why do we need to eat at all and with the group of family members and I am sorry it’s not great with my opinion it’s not impressive and please if you want to good food please find another place and I would not recommend it..

Diner Review №33

The shrimp lo mien was the best my spouse has had and my green curry shrimp was excellent as well. We will be back!

Diner Review №34

Love this little Thai Food spot! I was so happy to find out they opened back up in a different spot! Food just as good as I remembered it. Great service as well. We got the the Vegtable Egg Rolls, Vegtable Pad Thai and the Chicken Fried Rice.

Diner Review №35

SO good. We had Tom Yum and Red Curry and it was finger-licking. Couldn’t stop no matter how full.
The wait was about 25min and worth it.

Diner Review №36

The food here is really good. The people are extremely nice and have great service. I Highly and Strongly recommend that people should go here.

Diner Review №37

Great owners and amazing food!!! Do yourself a favor and give this spot a try!!!

Diner Review №38

Greedy owner, slow service. Food is ok

Diner Review №39

I had a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant. Grandpa was super friendly, and the food was appealing and flavorful. For my first dinner, I had Pad Thai, which was just perfect. The next day, I enjoyed curry and Tom Yum soup for lunch. The curry was exceptionally good; I only wish there was more rice to go with it. I regret not discovering this gem earlier, but unfortunately, I have to leave town. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №40

Excellent food, fantastic service we had a phenomenal time! Best orange chicken I have ever had!!

Diner Review №41

Came for lunch with my mom. I was craving yellow thai curry and this place DELIVERED. Very generous portions and delicious food. The owner is very nice and attentive. Put this on your list!

Diner Review №42

Everything is separate. Get your entree, cheapest is $ 13.99. No egg rolls, no soup, no crab ragoons. Fried rice with carrots and peas $5.99. We sat in a booth that was so uncomfortable. Couldn't wait to leave. Never again.

Diner Review №43

Diner Review №44

Fantastic food and service. The Thai fried rice was out of this world. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №45

The owner was nice. It was 2pm on a Sunday. We were the only ones there. Both of us had Pad Thai. Tasted like weakened sweet and sour sauce on noodles. No heat at all, so was a bit bland. Not worth $50 for 2 orders of Pad Thai, 2 bottles of water and 1 order of crab puffs (also so-so).

Diner Review №46

Very small restaurant would not hold a group. Food was authentic Thai, service was good.

Diner Review №47

Best Thai food I have ever had and I have been eating Thai food for years.Server seemed really invested that we enjoy our food preferences.

Diner Review №48

The food was fabulous. Four of us with different entrees and they were all superb.

Diner Review №49

Tried the combo spicy dish with beef, chicken and shrimp 🍤 but only two shrimp. Was disappointed with this dish and it had no sauce, to pour over the rice. The place has no ice. They gave you two ice cubes in your drink and did not want to give you more ice.

Diner Review №50

Diner Review №51

I have been eating at Thai China Bistro for over 30 years! The food and service are the best! I have followed them through Tucson and it is my most favorite restaurant! The Thai Beef Salad and Chili Fried Rice are my favorites! It is always consistent, fresh, and served with love.

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

My family ate here and it was delicious! We had the egg drop soup and it was maybe the best egg drop soup I've had. My sister is vegetarian and had plenty of options. It was very tasty and we will be coming back again :)

Diner Review №54

So so so good. So far I have tried the green chicken curry and the pad Thai with chicken. I eat here often. Excited to try more on the menu!

Diner Review №55

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from a hike. We really enjoyed the chicken pad thai and the orange chicken! It's been hard to find good Chinese food in Tucson and this is our favorite we have found. The customer service was good too, very nice. We will return!

Diner Review №56

literally the best place to eat period. everything about this place is perfect.

Diner Review №57

A small, mom & pop, hole on the wall restaurant with a cross section of Thai and Chinese food. We ordered the Pad Thai, Bangkok Delight, and Mango Boba. Unfortunately they were out of sushi rolls (too bad as we were in the mood for an appetizers). The Bangkok Delight was okay (I've had much better before at different places) while the Pad Thai was a bit disappointing. I tried the Mango Boba for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It was good. Overall the portions were a bit on the lite side and the experience was just average.

Diner Review №58

I've loved this place for years and used to go to their old location near TMC. I don't usually order off the menu, I tell the owner Chu, to just bring me something amazing. This time I asked him for spicy lo mein noodles with chicken. 10/10 highly recommend!

Diner Review №59

The wrong soup was made for my order but it was a delicious mistake, I love the food. Unfortunately it is a small restaurant and it can be slow service but I still enjoy eating their food.

Diner Review №60

Stopped in with a friend today. I ordered the lunch special, Sesame Chicken. My friend ordered the Curry Chicken lunch special. It was flavorful and fresh! It was so delicious! We enjoyed every single bite. The restaurant itself is small but clean and sufficient. The owners/workers were cheerful and pleasant. If you haven’t been here, you need to try it out! I plan on stopping in every time I’m in Tucson! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

Ok, the atmosphere is not so great, but the food is amazing.
A lot of flavor and everything so fresh. Absolutely great service. Are you looking for Thai or Chinese food to eat?
You need to come here.
You’ll thank me later!

Diner Review №63

After reading the reviews got two vegan items. Spicy fried rice and drunken noodles. Wonderful taste, wish the tofu was less fried. Loved it. Recommend it.

Diner Review №64

Food and service was very good. Table seats were metal with no cushion, booths had wooden seats and wood table. Bring your cushion if eating in!!

Diner Review №65

One of the best Thai restaurants in Tucson! I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai & Orange chicken, it was so fresh & delicious! Definitely a 5 star.

Diner Review №66

I love this place. Their tom yum is the best. I don't usually dine in but the place is always clean and smells delicious.

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

One of the best Thai place around here

Diner Review №69

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Tucson! The food is always amazing!

Diner Review №70

Awesome place .. love it 😍❤️😁

Diner Review №71

The owner is very kind and accommodating. The food was great too 😀

Diner Review №72

Food was great. Getting my drink and food orders taken took forever, And even longer to receive my food. Spent around an hour and 40 minutes total in the restaurant, around 20 or so actually eating. The food was delicious but not worth the amount of time I spent waiting.

Diner Review №73

Noodles were okay. Tofu was rubber and way overcooked, which the cook would have known by looking at it. Two pieces of broccoli in the Pad Se Ew 🤯 See photo. We ordered three dishes and two appetizers and were very disappointed in all of them - undercooked potatoes in the curry were worse than the tofu. Yuck, inedible.

Diner Review №74

Some of the best gluten free food I have ever had.

Diner Review №75

Good food.

Diner Review №76

Really enjoy dining here.

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Best Hot and Sour soup in town and the service is fantastic! Have not eaten at the restaurant but a very clean, quiet, and intimate space.

Diner Review №80

Awesome hot and sour soup, best in town by far, I have tried them all really good pork spring rolls, excellent hours open

Diner Review №81

Food is always freshly made and delicious. I would definitely recommend having the Bangkok Delight curry, it’s amazing.

Diner Review №82

Very good food! Clean place! Nice staff! Food was very fresh! Would definitely recommend it to a friend!

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

The food was great, prices decent, and staff extremely friendly. Definitely worth giving a try. The Pad See Ew was delicious and fried tofu was perfectly fried
Coconut shrimp was extremely tender and nicely fried as well.
As others said it is quite a small restaurant, but it was nice and quiet compared to larger eateries.

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

Best Thai food in town!!!!!

Diner Review №87

Everything was so good! Tasted like high quality ingredients. Very vegetarian friendly. Menu has good variety with Chinese and Thai options. I got tofu panang. Partner got orange chicken. Also got cream cheese puffs and a Thai tea. Everything was excellent. I tasted the orange chicken and it’s by far the best I’ve had here. Service was very friendly. Definitely putting this in the rotation. Only complaint is it was a bit too salty and my mouth was really dry shortly after. Fixed it with some lemonade, and food was so good it was worth it.

Diner Review №88

Great food, amazing customer service.

Diner Review №89

The summer rolls were great and the service was great too!

Diner Review №90

Waited one hour for our food (which was 2 orders of fried rice) and what we received was unacceptable. Soggy rice and undercooked vegetables. I’ve worked at a Chinese restaurant for 4 years and ate at multiple Asian restaurants over the years and this was definitely the worst.

Diner Review №91

The buns were on point! Strawberry boba tea was frozen and delicious. Chinese pork fried rice was the best I’ve had in a long time! Red Thai curry was flavorful. Chicken Pad Thai was balanced. Nice ambiance, definitely exceed my expectations based off the reviews!!

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Thai China is delicious!! Every thing I have ordered has been so yummy. My last order was the orange chicken, best you'll get in town. I also ordered some sushi rolls. I ordered over the phone and could not decided which rolls I wanted quickly enough so I told the lady who was taking my order to surprise me. She did and they were AMAZING! I don't know what they were though. I called back and asked but was told that it will remain a mystery 😂 I asked how am I suppose to order it if I don't know what it is? He confirmed my name was Jaimee then said next time you order just say "the special"
The food is amazing and the people are awesome!

Diner Review №94

This is a good choice for tasty food choices, and friendly service.
The food was fresh, of quality, and prepared well.

Diner Review №95

Ive picked up take out food several times from the bistro - excellent food and friendly service. I have not been disappointed on any of my visits

Diner Review №96

We love their food and the owner is a really nice guy!

Diner Review №97

Great food. I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

Delicious food! Curry, chowfun noodles, and boba were amazing! Friendly and funny owner.

Diner Review №100

It took 3 hours to get our food. They were swamped with only one cook

Diner Review №101

A lovely family business with delicious food and quick service. It’s a small place but that makes it extra special. You gotta try the Spam Musubi and the Sesame Balls. My friends also highly recommend the Thai Iced Tea. My sister loved the BBQ Bao Buns. I’ve tried several entrees over time going here and loved the chicken Pad Thai the most. The prices are a little high but that’s to be expected. For desserts try the Mango Sticky Rice, I love it! I’ve been here several times and my only complaint is that the ticket is handwritten and hard to read at the end, having it typed out might be better. Otherwise this place is a delicious spot for a big meal. Anyone who likes Thai or Chinese food should go here.

Diner Review №102

Food was outstanding. ‐-------NOT MY REVIEW!!!!!!!!------ Never been there!!!!

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

I think about how much I miss this place all the time. Excellent food, great service. Next time I'm in Tucson eating here is a top priority.

Diner Review №105

They were super nice!
Food was okay. Trying a new place since our usual Thai place is temporarily closed for the month.

Diner Review №106

Amazing food and amazing service!!! We will definitely be back

Diner Review №107

Came in close to closing time (50 minutes before)
Great little spot for Thai food. Service was on point with the gentleman greeting us at the door and making jokes with us overall warming determiner. the menu was nice and not over done. Got the pork red curry it was delicious and little spicy, BBQ pork fried rice which my brother liked very much too, wife got sweet and sour chicken and pork pad thai the pad thai was very good but the sweet and sour was very oily and off putting but I did not expect much for it the sauce was good though. Got the BBQ steam buns which was awesome to try and very much recommended. Pot stickers were good too and sauce was great on them.

Diner Review №108

The curry was amazing!! Best Thai food in Tucson. The owner is wonderful…friendly, helpful & funny! Ask him about his hot spicy 🌶️ championship! I highly recommend this east side gem!!!

Diner Review №109

Best service and Thai food in Tucson!! So fresh and colorful on plate but never had the flavors like this anywhere else!! Spot on service with attention to detail. Serve Alkaline water which I loved. The place was super clean as well. Coming from Suburbs of Detroit been looking for this good of food for 21 years out here!! Love they serve Thai, Sushi, Chinese, and even Boba tea in one place. My new favorite restaurant!!

Diner Review №110

This is their E Broadway location and it is a very small unpretentious restaurant with only 6 booths and 1 table to sit at. No ambiance. I had high expectations based on past reviews, but I was underwhelmed. The king boa chicken had way too much yellow pepper, and while the sauce was good the chicken on its own was bland. The shrimp curry was heavy on yellow bell pepper and low on shrimp, but I liked the flavor of the sauce and the extra spice I got on the side, over rice to fill me up since I am not big on all those yellow peppers. The prices were reasonable. Staff was nice.

Diner Review №111

I used to frequent this resturant when it was located on Grant road, so it's been a while but their Panang curry is still the best I have ever had anywhere. I also love their appetizers, especially their fried tofu.
The service was a little slow when we went but it was a Friday night and they were full. But overall a wonderful evening dinner out.

Diner Review №112

Went here this past Sunday. GREAT customer service, fresh veggies in the Mongolian chicken dish, chichen cooked to prefection, and great taste. The Curry Thai fried shrimp was so tasty. This place has a great atmosphere for you and the whole family. Loved this place!! Will be back.

Diner Review №113

The service was great, they were attentive and friendly. I would say the food was okay. The sushi we got was Las Vegas roll and I thought it was 5/10 and my husband thought it was 2/10. I got pad Thai and it was okay as well not the best I’ve had. We got crab rangoons and they were also okay.

Diner Review №114

Great service & great food. 👍

Diner Review №115

Favorite Thai in Tucson. They remember you too. Make you feel very welcome. Could eat there a few times a week!

Diner Review №116

Memorable food! Wow!!

Diner Review №117

Delicious food great service!

Diner Review №118

So far their hot and sour is one of the best ive ever had

Diner Review №119

Tiny little place cozy. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had with fresh mint and the sauce was amazing. Thr sushi was not good however. I got chicken pad Thai and it mlwas decent but no the best. It's not a bad place at all I will be back to try more.

Diner Review №120

Great service. Great food.

Diner Review №121

I use to come to Tucson for the gem show every year, and every time I'm in town I go to Thai China Bistro for lunch or dinner numerous times. They have a great choice of dishes full of flavour at reasonable prices. Some of my favorite dishes are NAM SOD, a tasty lettuce wrab with minced meat with ginger, peanuts and onion. I have it with chicken, but it can also be ordered with beef, pork or tofu. I also like PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE a lot, where the rice is stir fried with fresh ginger and with mixed vegetables, cashew nut and chicken. Last time I had the SQUID SALAD for the first time, and it was really delicious too ! For those who like it a little bit more spicy, you should tell the server how spicy you would like your order on a scale from 1 to 10, but better be careful if you order spicyness of 6 and over ! They also have a choice of SUSHI ROLLS which are very yummy ! I like the "Las Vegas roll" ;-) I can truly recommend this place for a freshly cooked Asian meal with lots of flavour.

Diner Review №122

Very good beef panang.

Diner Review №123

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

I’ve been waiting so long to find them again! I think they might have the best papaya salad in town (other than my mom). My friend and I had the yellow and massaman curries, they were velvety and luscious. She accidentally got the mild and her curry was still very flavorful hitting all the right notes of salty, sweet, etc. I can’t wait to eat there again next time I’m in the area. I feel like they are even better than when they were on Grant.

I can’t speak to their Chinese offerings, but they had a good looking menu.

Diner Review №126

Ordered tofu green curry, a side of fried rice, crab rangoon‘s, california roll. Tried calling the restaurant, and the phone was busy a number of times so I went into order. Upon arrival I was told the restaurant was out of sushi rice. So I ordered Bao buns instead. I left the restaurant and came back when they told me the food would be ready in 25 minutes. Upon arrival I saw that my fried rice was made but nothing else. I was informed that they didn’t have the ingredients to make the green curry. I paid with a credit card and asked for a refund. I was given cash instead for only the curry. Rice was cold. Bao buns overcooked. Rangoons were okay. In terms of service, I would rate this a -5, in terms of flavor 1. Everything was as you see in many other reviews, bland, and definitely not a place I would ever return or recommend.

Edit. While I appreciate that the business took time to write a response, it seems unapologetic. The issues are that the restaurant made some items that sat for several minutes so they were cold; while others were over cooked, and refunds should be issued to the same tender. Bottom line- 1 stars.

Diner Review №127

THE BEST curry I have ever had! Great service very friendly!

You can taste the freshness
In every plate the customer service is outstanding small restaurant hole in the wall but u will not regret it also they serve sushi and it’s very affordable!!!

Diner Review №131

Food was awesome, service was exceptional...must try

2023- same name new location
On Broadway just east of pantano, south side of Broadway next to circle k. Food is beyond good, service is amazing. Different location, but quality of food didn't change. Tucson a must, sushi rolls, Curry, crab puffs, this food is excellent. Haven't had a bad dish. Eat locally, support local small business.

Diner Review №132

I had a detailed review on here and seems it was deleted. The food was not good and items were missing from my order. Have not gone back and will not. How do you mess up pad thai.

Diner Review №133

1 hour 40 minute wait. Terrible. Average food.

Diner Review №134

Took over 50 minutes for a takeout order with just two entrees at 4:15pm. The portion size for the Mongolian beef was horribly small. Do yourself a favor and Go somewhere else.

Diner Review №135

Great local Chinese food with really fun people. Brought my visiting vegan daughter there and challenged them a bit to make orange tofu. Best she has had. She requested it two more times over her four day visit and she ate more than she normally does in a week. She could not stop raving about it. She wanted to stay as much to try the sesame tofu as spending time with mom (and maybe a bit with dad too)

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

They have the best tom kha soup we've had in Tucson. They also have great spring rolls, and noodle dishes. The thai curries are authentic and delicious.

Diner Review №138

Diner Review №139

FOOD IS AVERAGE THERE ARE BETTOR PLACES IN TUCSON

Diner Review №140

So glad they re-opened. Farther away from us now, but worth the drive. Great food and very good people.

Diner Review №141

Really delicious and great service. Loved that the owner came up to us and asked how everything was doing.

Diner Review №142

Happy to have found this place! Clean comfortable environment to match the clean flavorful food. Terrific service, very welcoming. Enjoy!

Diner Review №143

The people working at this restaurant are hands down the best I have ever encountered! They are so much fun to chat with and very personable...we need more of this in our world today. The food is amazing. If you have food allergies like my whole family does, this is the place for you! They can customize most dishes.

Diner Review №144

Very fresh

Diner Review №145

Diner Review №146

Noticed this little place after driving by a few times while going to other destinations. Glad I decided to stop by for lunch. I personally love Thai food and after trying the curry I definitely recommend this place. The bold flavors were awesome in the red curry - creamy, spicy, and sweet. The yellow curry is about what I expected but still very good in comparison to others I've had before. While it might be pricy try out the bbq pork bun (open faced) its a nice appetizer! As for the staff, very friendly people and are attentive; couldn't complain. Definitely a new spot to go to every once in a while for my own rotation. Give it a try!

Diner Review №147

Worst Thai food, the egg rolls are soaking in oil. The Tom yum soup is a joke with a hint of lime in the broth. Thai fried rice is over salted with no seasoning and undercooked rice.vegetable fried rice is rice tossed in soy sauce with little to no vegetables. The curry is flavorless.save yourself some money .

Diner Review №148

My absolute favorite Thai food in Tucson. Better than Char's! Thom kha gai to die for. Try it with fried tofu for sure. Yellow curry is off the charts. Best comfort food ever.

Diner Review №149

Pad thai dry noodles, all stuck together. Dry chicken. Where are the veggies thet should go with? Very expensive for what you get.

Diner Review №150

Amazing! Truly quality Thai curry! The spices hit amazingly. The vegetables are cooked perfectly as well! Would 100% recommend. Best Asian restaurant in Tucson.

Diner Review №151

Usually I would go for a one star but I'm already lenient because it's a mom and pop shop and it'll be just unfair to discourage them but...

The food is okay at best. Nothing special but also not bad. It just has no unique flavor. It's mostly bland for the most part...
Now the service...oh dear.
The place has seven tables at top and it happened that I came as the third guest. There was one table before me that was eating and a table that looked like they just ordered.
After being seated and given menus, the gentleman that seemed like is the owner, proceeded to leave to answer a phone call and then another table walked in that he had to seat. Then a take out order came in and it just kept going downhill from there.
Now he has seven tables, an order of takeout and still has to look after the two tables besides taking our order and then figuring out the rest of the tables that came after...
Few moments of chaos, he finally takes our order. We are already 20 minutes in. More people are coming in but there is no room. Somebody opted to sit outside but he was number 8 in the queue and sadly he walked away after he was ignored for a long time.
An hour and 10 minutes later we got our food. I got my appetizer about 10 minutes before my entree.

An entire visit took an hour and 35 minutes on a Sunday around noon.

Honestly I suggest getting help. Nobody can do a restaurant by themselves. You need help. Those seven tables that you have inside the small restaurant cannot be maximized if you're going this slow. You got to figure out how to keep those tables moving so you can make more money. If on average, each table is going to sit an hour and a half, you're not going to reach your potential.

And to tie all of this together the price point is out of line. The portions are small which is okay but it has to match the price.
Not for something that's this mediocre.

Got the lunch special for the cashew chicken , general tao and hunan chicken! Food was delicious and served well. Waiter was excellent

Diner Review №153

We loved our food and Boba tea. Excellent service.

Diner Review №154

It was my first time eating here. I ordered the pork fried rice and crab puffs and eggrolls. I literally could count the pieces of pork. Good-sized portions. The first timeI have ever paid $16 for pork fried rice. The vegetables were not bite-sized pieces. The pork fr I Ed rice was flavorless. The crab puffs were flavorless and the dough was tough. The eggrolls had no flavor. I wondered were the crab puffs reheated. The only reason I ate it was so that I did not waste $27+.

Diner Review №155

I enjoyed everything I tried here. The papaya salad was really good. The only thing I would change is their use of jalapeños instead of Thai chiles. I don’t know if Thai chiles are hard to find, but I prefer their flavor in this cuisine. The people were friendly and it is a very nice neighborhood restaurant overall.

Diner Review №156

The food is booring and lacking a appreciable amount of protein. If you want lots of noodles, this is the place. If you want quality Asian cuisine, please go elsewhere. Avoid this restaurant or you will be disappointed. A waist of money.

Diner Review №157

The food is very good. The ambience is decent. The people are kind and accommodating. They made something not on the menu for my wife that she was craving.

Diner Review №158

Very, very good Thai food. You can't go wrong eating here. The owner is very nice, The staff is great

Diner Review №159

The food was amazing, and so was the service! We came here after trying to go to wings too who had a long wait. This was next door so thought we'd give it a try and am so glad we did! We had the orange chicken and potstickers and both tasted phenomenal! Also they were more than welcome to help us soon as we walked in and was very courteous! Wish we lived here or else I'd be a regular!

Diner Review №160

1st time. Best Sesame Chicken I have had in awhile!!! Coconut shrimp and egg rolls were also good!

Diner Review №161

I dined in and had a great experience! We were treated so well, dining was very clean. I wish I had taken photos of our plates, but I couldn't wait to eat the mountain-sized Thai Beef salad I ordered. Also, a blueberry and a honeydew boba tea; they had a slushy-icee texture, which I found to be better than the average liquid boba I've had in the past. Keep that style of 'Boba slushy' as maybe a signature summer drink! If you get the honey pearls to add in the boba instead of tapioca pearls then you'll highly likely see us back in very very often lol. For dessert I had mango with sweet rice; mango was fully ripe, the sweet milk was **freshly** made to the order 🤌🏽. I was upset I didn't order extra😭 Our waiter, the owner, even one of the cooks were all so very polite throughout our visit and provided such a beautiful energy to the atmosphere there. We we're SO happy to have found a authentic tasting Thai place on this side of town. Especially since Bangkok Cafe (our now *previous* favorite) has lost a few stars now in my opinion. So we will be back to eat here soon again, and frequently!

Diner Review №162

Excellent service and the food was so good! Had the sesame chicken and the Thai pineapple rice, I highly recommend 👌 😋.

Diner Review №163

This place is nice and quaint. Most of the options can be made gluten free. The food is delicious and service is excellent.

Diner Review №164

Chuy and team have always been so nice and friendly. The food is fantastic and my wife and I have the Green Curry Chicken on Sundays as a ritual. Even with them farther away it is well worth the trip. So glad they are open now!!

Diner Review №165

First time in. Great customer service. Wonderful pad thai. I will be back!

Diner Review №166

Some of the best we've had here in Tucson

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

First time. Food was OK. Average at best. Had a large piece of a inedible woody element (some root stock) in the Thom Yum soup, which was quite watery and bland.

Diner Review №169

So glad they’ve opened again! Their former location was closer, but we’ll definitely make the drive. One of our two favorite Thai restaurants in Tucson (the other has sadly closed permanently). The food has always been excellent and flavorful and they are very accommodating to food allergies. Can’t wait to eat there again!

Diner Review №170

Great, tasteful food. They have amazing vegan options. The Andy roll is one of my favorites and the Massaman Curry is the best I ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing as well. The server is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. I will be back soon.

Diner Review №171

The food was really good and the boba with tapioca pearls helps beat the heat! The old gentleman waiter was great at setting up the tables for a small crowd and he is a great conversationalist too! The menu for both Chinese and Thai have good choices, for such a small establishment. The pics don't do the flavor justice 😂

Diner Review №172

Wonderful service from the kindest of people. Everything was fresh and delicious. Will be back to try more items :)

Diner Review №173

Vegan sushi was delicious!

Diner Review №174

Best food ever! Out of many places in Tucson, absolutely excellent!! And the staff and atmosphere they create is amazing. We will keep going back again!!!

Diner Review №175

The service was okay and the people working were friendly. We had takeout and had an order of Thai curry, the flavor was great, but the veggies were cut way to big for a soup, who would think you would need a knife to eat soup? The pad kee moa ( drunken noodles) were dry and had absolutely no flavor. Sorry, but there is much better out there than this.

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №177

I ordered the Thai curry with heat level 5 out of 10 and it wad amazing~, shrimp tempura appatizer also had a wonderful flakey breading, glad Bistro was able to reopen again since they moved locations from Grant road.

Diner Review №178

Location moved but same great tasting food and customer service is like family. More details on Yelp review.

Diner Review №179

They are amazing love this place 🔥

Diner Review №180

Tried Thai China Bistro (the one that just opened on Pantano and Broadway) went in there and it was not busy but the two (maybe owners) were there and they were beyond nice. So patient and they took their time to explain the difference between Lo Mein and Pad Thia. I went with a spicy Pad Thai which was absolutely delicious. I would say next time I would ask for a bit less sauce but it was delicious 😋 I would definitely come back again and try other foods. Everything sounds delish!!! Thank you for being so kind and patient with me and guiding me to what I wanted.

Diner Review №181

Love this place and the owners/employees are very nice too. The Vegetarian potstickers and Curry Fried Rice are amazing.

Diner Review №182

We waited 40 minutes for the food to come out, but not all of the meals came at once and one person waited an extra 20 minutes while everyone else was eating. I was shocked by this poor customer service. I know they were busy but they should bring out all the food at once and apologize if this doesn’t happen.

Diner Review №183

Awesome food, awesome prices and awesome family! I will be a loyal customer and so will my household!

Diner Review №184

The worst Thai food I've had. Everything had a weird funky taste.

Diner Review №185

Great Place
They also have vegan and Gluten free and
Vegetarian...

Diner Review №186

Great place for Asian food. Prices are not too bad either. Had their coconut soup (Thom Kah??) It is made on the spot, so a slight 20 minute wait and yum!

Diner Review №187

The music playlist is fire!! Dine in experience not so much :/ out of shrimp and veggie dumplings. Random. They seem to be very busy and prioritize to go orders over actual customers sitting in to eat.. only two dudes running the front of the restaurant and the one literally just walked around aimlessly like a sloth but was diligent with refilling our water while myself and friend waited over 30 mins for our apps. Crab puffs were standard. No peanut sauce. Was literally chunky peanut butter lol the tom kha soup needed lime. But after eating and being less hangry I update to two stars and maybe will try again. But Thia Chinese Bistro what is you doing baby?

Diner Review №188

I eat here almost every weekend! And don't forget the chopsticks! Lol

Diner Review №189

Diner Review №190

Great food!!! Since trying Thai food two weeks ago my family will be eating there every Friday trying new dishes.

Diner Review №191

The food is consistently delicious, whether it is a dish you choose regularly or something new, you will not be disappointed! The staff are extremely aware and diligent about maintaining the customers safety during the pandemic. You can rely on the fact that the staff are long term employees and they will always be friendly and accommodating.

Diner Review №192

The Best Thai food, we missed it during covid then we found out they had moved to New location on Broadway

Diner Review №193

Food is excellent! Took a while to get the food but worth the wait. Definitely going back.

Diner Review №194

Very good Thai food!! Owner is very friendly and accommodating!! I will be back.

Diner Review №195

Love this place so much. The owners are amazing. Live all tge food. Truley authentic. Amazing service.

Diner Review №197

Didn't even get to try the food. Spent 30 minutes trying to call to put an order in, and when we finally did we got "please hold" then the guy set the phone down and walked away for 15 minutes. Realized we probably couldn't get through because they did the same thing to the last person to call. Can't forsee try here again if I can't even order.

Diner Review №198

A must try! We use to drive 40 mins (round trip) when they were on Grant, so we are so glad TCB moved to the east side.

They are consistent with their taste and quality of food. I always get the vegetable Thai fried rice and it is always super fresh and flavorful. My husband gets the Bangkok delight curry, highly recommend.

The owner is welcoming and friendly. This is an all around great place and with great food.

Diner Review №199

My son is friends with the lady that works there. He hyped up the food & so off we went. It DOD NOT disappoint. Amazing food & friendly atmosphere!!!!

Diner Review №200

I ordered a hearty meal, and got disappointed. The food was rushed, under cook and overall lacked flavor. Their dishes lack quality to say the least. The California rolls were very poor as well. I would not recommend
