Food quality and food portion is good

Had an excellent experience ordering the massaman curry for takeout. I selected it thai hot with tofu and beef, a side of crushed peanuts, and extra sauces, all of which they accommodated quite nicely for a fair price. Good portion size, decent amount of the proteins, absolutely delicious flavor. They could stand to improve slightly over the phone and they need to get their address listed on Google Maps—I bet that's killing them. It's a good location yet kind of hard to see, might need better signage and marketing.

I hope this place survives because I'm definitely going to come back often. This place beats the brakes off Thai-2-Go and it feels good to support a small business that obviously deserves it.

This is a tip choice for take out when we want Asian food. The pad thai, pho, orange chicken, and pineapple curry have been amazing! The food is ready pretty quick for pick up.

This is a nice cozy Thai restaurant gem.
♿ There is accessible parking, and there’s an accessible ramp to get up to the sidewalk leading up to this restaurant (you can find this ramp in front of Desert Rat, the business next door). There is no steps at the front entrance, although the door itself seems a bit of a tighter squeeze but it’s doable.
Inside there are cozy clean booths- with the far height of booths accommodating wheelchairs.

Even around dinner time- it wasn’t busy. The Thai tea from there is very refreshing on a hot summer day! I like how they are not too heavy on the ice, and this has been one of the best Thai teas I’ve had. Unlike other places where the drink is unnaturally sweet, the flavor here was natural and just the right amount of sugar. Also, the cashier was warm and very welcoming.

The food was bland/flavorless and all I could taste was heat. I ordered medium and was given food that’s unbearably spicy and this is coming from someone who prefers spicy food! Not to mention they put my drink in a tied bag with piping hot food, so I received a warm soda with my delivery. I’m new to AZ and have yet to find good Thai food!

This was go to spot for pho - probably like once a week I’d go here, absolutely loved it. Recently came here after a few weeks off and instantly felt something was different with the pho. Figured it might just be an off batch, it happens. Nope, entirely new recipe. Not even close to the old one either, this has become an entirely new restaurant operating under its previous name.

I really wanted to like the pho, considering this was one of my favorite spots, but I’m sorry it was just incredibly bland and lacking any flavor. As much as I hate to say I don’t know if I’ll be coming back. I might give it a shot again in a month to see if anything has changed, but if this is the new norm then unfortunately I lost my favorite pho spot :(

I ordered take out from Vina’s this evening. Vegan spring rolls, vegan egg rolls, and a vegan egg roll tofu bun no cilantro no sprouts. When I got home the bun had cilantro and sprouts. I called the restaurant and they told me the cilantro and sprouts is on the side so it is “okay”. It’s not. I ordered it without those items and repeated “no cilantro no sprouts” when I placed the order. If they could not make it without sprouts and cilantro, that should have been said when I placed my order. They Zelled me a refund for the bun.

They also charge a 3% service charge for cards which is illegal in AZ to charge debit cards a surcharge.

Surcharge fees are strictly limited to credit card transactions only. Even if a customer wishes to run a signature debit transaction, where a debit card is processed as a credit transaction, you are still not allowed to implement a surcharge. They ran my debit card as credit & charged the 3%.

Um...just in case anyone else gets a shock surprise, it's NOT THE SAME RESTAURANT! Hopefully, the new owners/management will get this updated soon. I was very excited to try some of that seafood, authentic ốc, sợ, nghiêu, etc and was set on ordering vietnamese food but was totally disappointed when I got the menu, it is all thai food with a small selection of Pho only. I was going by the reviews which was only a few weeks ago so this must've been an very recent almost overnight change.

I decided to uncomfortably stay to support what looks like mom/pop family run business and ordered the safest thing I could. Just an average chicken pad thai, it was good but nothing more than I usually make at home. Expect slow service, again seems like one young teen serving all the tables but I do remember what that was like. Most likely won't be returning, but I do wish them the very best of luck with the new business and encourage average thai food consumer to support them. If you like pei wei, you'd probably be happy here.

Also, they only had what appeared to be mom's cell phone tap to pay, and I had to manually enter my debit card info in to pay. Maybe that'll change in the near future.

OMPho! PHO good! I arrived when they first opened this morning. Everything is freshly cooked, delicious! It is a casual atmosphere with great vibes and smells. When I left with enough to go containers from my lunch for several meals, they were pretty busy. Will be back!

The BEST, most fresh spring roll I've ever had! The price was perfect and I was blown away by the spring rolls. They aren't fried like other places do, they're legitimate. A lot of places, it's tasteless, this was perfect and fresh! I got shrimp in mine. My only complaint is the person in the front taking my order wouldn't look up from his phone/screen and was annoyed with my questions. I would have ordered more but I felt uncomfortable asking questions.

They don't really care for blacks there I felt the vibes last night also I order extra meat and they didn't even place it in my order but they charged me for it. We need to stop supporting these types of businesses they don't like black people!!!

Excellent food terrible attitudes like I paid them to insult me. I was charged $6 for extra meat and nothing was different at all. Don't pay extra just order a different item.

Absolutely disgusting, everything is filthy; the menus, condiments, sign tags on table have food all over them. Waiter picked his eye boogers and rubbed his face before picking up my food to bring it to my table. Yuck yuck so gross. You have been warned. This meal was the best meal I have had in so long! The staff was really friendly and helped me find the dish I was looking for on the menu and provided great options that were vegan, or standard. I cannot tell you how fresh and amazing this food was, for a great price. You have to try for yourself!

The worst pho we've ever had. I couldn't finish it because the meat smelled and tasted spoiled. I was afraid I would get food poisoning. We also got steak fried rice and it tasted like the rice was old and had been reheated. We eat pho a couple times a month, have been for years and we've never had pho this bad. 09/11/22

My son and I ate there last night and the food was horrible the snails didn’t taste fresh, they tasted like they were rotten and been sitting out. Whoever is working in kitchen needs to be let go or know cook better. The service on other hand was very great and nice

It's really just everything you want in a Vietnamese restaurant. The menu is slightly bigger than the average, the service was well thought out, especially on a to-go order which was unexpected, and the quality of the flavors was just a hit above the local competition. The pho broth was notably fragrant.

Small restaurant with great Vietnamese food and they have a lot to choose from. They had snails and various seafood on the menu. I only tried the spring rolls and pho with steak this time around and they tasted great. Will probably try other things on the menu when I come back again.

It’s really a good Vietnamese restaurant near ASU, the location is near ASU. And has lots of snails, clams, with different flavors. I just tried shaken tenderloin beef rice, it’s tasty. Highly recommend if you want to try snails, clams or Vietnamese foods.

Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. Family and I had the Bun Bo Hue and they don’t skimp on any meats or vegetables. The clams hit the spot as an appetizer and don’t get me started with their drinks. One of the best Cafe Sua Da (viet coffee) I’ve had. Perfect blend of coffee and sweetness without being heavy on the stomach. The sugar cane drink (#100) is refreshing for hot Az.

The food is mediocre at best. However the reason why I gave this restaurant only one star because they sneaked in 3% of the total bill if you pay by credit card. This wasn't known until you get the check when you are done. I have to write this review to warn people.

Service: I had gone during an off time near 2pm to avoid large crowds but that ended up being the time when they all had started to eat so was treated as if I was intruding on their time which means with minimal interaction ( even though they were eating next to me) and disdain. However somewhat excusable for a small mom and pop store

Food: This was by far the worst part of my experience. The razor clams turned out to be rotten and the snail a mixture between overcooked and undercooked. Almost like they had 2 batches one which was properly thawed and the other which was just removed from the freezer. Also they provided a few blunt toothpicks which meant getting at the tiny snail meat was really challenging.

I was looking for a nice location that was not too big or overcrowded for an intimate lunch date. I'm usually not a big fan of Pho but this place exceeded my expectations. I wanted to impress the person that I was with & Vina's was perfect for what I was looking for. We both noticed that the menu was very large and it had more than enough choices to satisfy anyone's palette. The strawberry tea was amazing! We also had an iced coffee after the meal that was delicious and half the price of the other not to mention "brand name" coffee shops. If you're looking for a place to have quick yet yummy bite to eat, try Vina's! You won't be disappointed.

It's a great place to enjoy delicious dinner with family, but the service was a bit poor and slow. She was taking our order at the table and the phone rang. Guess what? She set us idling and started the order on the phone. She then resumed our order. As soon as we continued, the phone rang again; and yes, she let us waited a second time while taking another order over the phone.

That poor service made us felt like the customers on the phone had higher priority than we were ☹

The pho tai nam bo vien (pho with rare steak, brisket, and beef meatballs) was ridiculously delicious! Came out quick, and generous portion of meat and noodles. Broth is super flavorful, I usually leave a bit in the bowl for being full but I had to finish the soup it was so good. Added to my list of pho shops I frequent. Will absolutely be back, with my friends who love pho as much as I do!

I was craving for some Vietnamese food and Ốc. This place was recommended by my friend. I had to say I was not disappointed. Everything was cook to perfection. Most importantly, the seafood was very fresh. I would definitely come back here again.

I wish I had photos to post! I did not expect this location. It’s small and cozy so don’t expect to be loud and have a party. The place is neat and clean. Their dishes are so nice and doesn’t feel heavy. Some places I’ll avoid certain meat dishes because I worry it will be too heavy of a meal but not at this place. I can’t seem to explain it but their noodles are different as well. They don’t seem to be “old” or randomly from their fridge. Overall it was a very clean and refreshing location that I will be visiting again for sure.

Been here 3 times already. It’s definitely a hidden gem 💎 of AZ. If you are a fan of former “Oc & Lau” in O.C, you’re gonna LOVE this place. Because this is pretty much going to be an AZ version of it. They offer all kinds of street-style seafoods mainly clams, scallops, snails - All Types and Freshly cooked on hot stone plates served! This place will soon have to expand because they always have a line.
Another excellent dish is Bun Bo Hue - Spicy Beef Soup.
Pho is decent. Bun Rieu is ok. Pha Lau Bo is delicious, reminds me so much of Vietnam. Will be back here for more!

The #34 bún noodle bowl was loaded with meat and vegetables; and absolutely delicious. The fresh spring rolls were also very tasty. Will definitely be my go-to spot for Vietnamese cuisine.
