They have low prices for drinks here most beer is 6 bucks ! Which is hard to find, They make some good and thiiiickkk egg rolls here ! Never had egg rolls where they actually peppered it and gave some spice to it as well great touch and they really pack it with ingredients by far surprised with the freshness as well you can actually taste how fresh the cabbage is in it, the curry is pretty good very flavorful! I think the potatoes could be softer and if they added more carrot and onions to it , it be perfect as it was mostly just the meat I choose and potatoes and they give you a lot of rice ! but overall great experience !

This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Noodles were burned and had no flavor on top of that the meat was so difficult to chew. Definitely will never return.

I ordered 4 different items and all of them packed so much flavor and punch and was everything I was looking for. If you are going to go, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND the below. All of it is so so good so anything you order should deliver. You will be asked for spice level (Mild, Medium, Hot) and I ordered all medium for mine and it was a true medium! Enough heat to taste but not burn your mouth.

It looks a bit questionable on the outside and the inside is really quaint and that of an authentic restaurant. There’s plenty of seating at tables and booths. The service was really good in that you are asked for what you want to drink, then what you want to eat, and checking in towards the end of your meal if you want anything else. Easy, simple, straight to the point!

15 years ago I was a regular at Thai rama. They had the best dishes made with red or yellow curry. Yesterday I went for a late lunch and was shocked at how the exterior of the building looked. The fountain by the front door was beyond words. The big store sign that drivers see, looked as if it were ready to fall down. I said to my friend, with it looking like this should we still eat here? We decided to chance it. The servers seemed bothered that we were there after the lunch rush, so, the service had not changed, it was the same, LOL. The food quality is the important thing though right? The food was absolutely the same and as delicious as ever! Shrimp and chicken yellow curry to die for! The BEST coconut ice cream on the planet! Walking out I saw the broken fountain and sign again, the building is in desperate need of paint. People need to know even though it looks really bad- the taste of the food is REALLY GOOD and worth it!
I hope they improve the curbside appeal to where it matches the delicious food.

My best friend and I visited here for the first time this past weekend. We were seated promptly and were able to order quickly. The food was hot, tasty, and came out within ten minutes! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure to explain items on the menu and answer any questions we had. The restroom was also clean, huge plus! We will definitely be back!

Thai Rama is one of my wife and I’s favorite Thai spots in the valley! We absolute go-to is their Thai Fried Rice with chicken, gyoza, and the chicken Yellow Curry. Always grab a Thai Tea as well to go with your meal

Neighborhood Thai - excellent lemongrass soup. Med heat is very mild. Good selection of Asian beers. Staff always friendly - shout out Pawni - the lovely waitress that memorizes everyone's name!

This is our favorite Thai food in the valley, we travel over 44 minutes to eat at this restaurant. The dishes are freshly made to order and the quality is outstanding. Their service is excellent 👌. Many traditional Thai dishes and their tea is great!

I want to recognize Thai Rama for excellent customer service. I was recently in Phoenix for a meeting where we cooked a Thai dinner for our team. We were in need of Kaffir Lime Leaf for a dish and I could not find it any where! As I drove by Thai Rama, I decided to stop in to see if they would have it to sell to me and to my amazement, they did! It truly saved the dinner.

Don't let the neighborhood or outside appearance fool you! The friendly staff serve up some incredibly delicious food at very reasonable prices! Lunch specials available as well!

The food was sooooo good, almost mouth drooling good.. I ordered Drunken Noodles & Red Curry, both of them with vegetables & tofu. Both the food items were very well prepared and absolutely delicious. I loved the red curry better than drunken noodles, but would order both the items again in the future.

Service horrible

I stopped at Thai Rama around noon on a Monday. I ordered the drunken noodles. To my surprise it came with a small bowl of soup which was very good. The drunken noodles took about 7-10 minutes to arrive. When ordering i had the option to make them either mild, medium , hot, or thai hot. I opted for the thai hot, and they were very hot.
The hostess and server were very friendly and attentive checking up on me frequently. I would definitely come again

This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Noodles were burned and had no flavor on top of that the meat was so difficult to chew. Definitely will never return.

The food is delicious! The yellow curry never disappoints. And the Thai Iced coffee is to DIE for. The owner is super hard working and the employees are super sweet and efficient. Will always be one of my favorite places. It can be a little hard to get their attention sometimes because they're so busy, but once you do, they're very fast to give you what you need.

Tried a few different places in the area , but some use low quality chicken or it’s overcooked , but here has nicely cooked chicken. The seasoning on the chicken satay is soo good. it’s always busy too so you know the food is fresh

The food are delicious I been going there for many years but just be aware that they will atomically takes out gratitude fee 18% from ur check even before you Tip them . I don’t mind tipping but I just don’t like having them atomically take out out on their own and still expect u to tip them at least 15% up.

Today I will have Drunken Noodles. They are my absolute favorite. There is nothing on the menu that is not delicious. I always feel welcomed while I wait, enjoying soup until my meal is ready. I live far north and I am always so excited when my job brings me to this part of town and I can have a meal there.

First off good customer service, very kind workers! I came in to do a take out order and gave me a water while I waited for my order which I really appreciated. Really beautiful and peaceful in the establishment, the waiting booth was really comfy as well lol. But on to the food, 10/10, it really was a good experience overall. The chicken fried rice was beyond my expectations and I tried their sticky mango rice, very good. Please try their sticky mango rice. Thank you for the great service

we were refused seating when we arrived at 7:35 pm even though the restaurant hours are until 8 PM. The lady who approached us, would not give us an option to dine in and stated that we would only be able to do takeout at this time. I don’t think this would be regarded as good customer service so I would it give 0 starts if possible

After 25 years patronizing this restaurant with all of their glitches in service and successful efforts, I am no longer willing to support this business. After a 20 minute effort to put in a phone order from my car and a parallel effort of my wife to call from home, neither of us received the courtesy of someone picking up the phone. I showed up in person to put in a to-go order and two different people that I talked to gave no courtesy to my effort to order and both stated "we are too busy...". There is at least 5 good Thai restaurants in a 2 mile radius that are happy to provide me with dinner that don't make me feel like an annoying person seeking to drop $50 plus a generous tip into their P&L for the day. A simple acknowledgement of my effort to order and their poor response would have kept me a customer. I realize things get busy, I can't support their lack of respect for a long-term customer. They are not unique in their menu. When the service fails they are easily replaceable and should be.

Only been here for take out and I LOVE their service—soon well done in to experience their great service fully. They always greet us with a smile when we walk in and with a well wish when we walk out. They never take too long and their food always hits the spot. Love it here.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Sedona from the airport. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is what you would expect in a neighborhood Thai restaurant.

I've been going to this restaraunt since the late 1900's (1999 to be exact). It never dissapoints! It was the last place I ate before I shipped off to boot camp in MCRD San Diego, and the first place I went when I got back.

They may have the best Thai in town, but their takeout service needs a lottle work with timing, organizing and executing. Don't expect it to be ready when you request. Pad (Thai) about 35-40 minutes onto your requested pickup time. And this on a Sunday night!

This place never disappoints its a little hidden gem. Great service, amazing staff, and fabulous food full of great quality flavors that just leave you wanting to order everything on the menu! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. Everything is superb and the family style portions make it great for the whole family to enjoy.

I’m so disappointed in this place. It WAS my favorite Thai restaurant in the valley (the PHX location) but twice now I have ordered food online for pickup and the order hadn’t even been started when I arrived to pick the food up. The second time this happened, the geriatric female employee at the front was extremely rude to my husband about the order not being received. She even attempted to argue with him about the order so he showed her the receipt, and only then did she have the cook start preparing the food.

Save your sanity and avoid this place because the customer service is really a hit or miss.

Love love love, mmmmm!!! A family tradition whenever we come up to Phoenix from Tucson. Every dish is tasty, zesty, BIG size shrimp (not skimpy), and has FLAVORS... Always made to order!

I've been here multiple times, and this place never disappoints. Price is worth the plate portions, and the deliciousness of the food is a bonus. Service is good and atmosphere is relaxing.

Besides having the most delicious food ever, the service just puts the cherry on top. The staff is super friendly and really nice, making the experience overall the best!
I’ve been going since 2017 and recently moved close to tonopah so it’s further from me sadly, i wish they had a location closer to the west side, but either way it is definitely worth the drive! Definitely recommend the drunken noodles and spicy garlic chicken with a thai iced tea ❤️ it’s my obsession (the tea helps if you order the food spicy just saying). I’ve tried many other thai restaurants and it just doesn’t compare to Thai Rama’s food, your palate will thank you once you try their food!😊

It's by far one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Phoenix. Quality food. Always good portions. The spice scale is on point.
It is an older establishment, but not old enough to make it eclectic. Also, due to the placement of the lite-rail, kinda a pain to access.
Staff friendly and helpful, just not as attentive as I would have personally liked.

It was really good. The staff were really friendly and they even have musicians playing.

Staffs so rude. We forgot to put the tips and they came outside to ask for money. Sounds like you don’t pay them enough pay.

This is the best Thai food in the valley if you want authentic flavors. I’ve tried almost all of the Thai restaurants and this one is by far superior. You will notice many Thai restaurants use lots of sugar and lack the complexity of flavor but Thai rama stills serves up house made sauces with galangal and kefir lime and other flavors that give a scrumptious kick to the flavor palate. I could eat this food daily!

The food is amazing here, especially the Massaman curry.

I hadn't been here since before COVID, service was a little terse, I got there about 45 min before closing and they didn't seem happy about it even though I was done eating and left at closing. There were at least two other tables seated when they turned up the lights fifteen min before closing. Food was good. Last time I was here it was decorated very colorful, almost gaudy but they have redecorated and now it is very drab. I will start going more often and give it a few more chances.

I brought my son and daughter-in-law there for my 66th birthday lunch. They loved it. I already did. My daughter-in-law is philippino and had thought Thai food was 'to spicy', but as you can choose how spicy you want your food she wants to come back. We taste tested each others dishes. Ha! The staff is always kind and helpful. We had a great time

My husband and I have tried just about every Thai restaurant in the Phoenix area and we get Tom Yum soup every time. This was by far the BEST Tom yum soup we’ve ever had.

We also had an amazing curry dish and the mango sticky rice. Everything from food to service was outstanding. We will be back to try more of their delicious food!!
