Let me first start off with saying the only two things that were good about this place, which was how clean it was, and that the eggrolls were actually pretty crispy flavorful but I will never come back here again I eat a lot of yellow curry from several different restaurants and I’m always willing to try a new spot out which is what I did which was the worst mistake. I could’ve made. I’ve never had worse yellow curry before than at this location I’ve never had my yellow curry. Be this watery and soupy as well as be so darn bland and the potato pieces were so hard. It just did not taste good overall as well as they gave me a expired beer, and I instantly knew from the minute I saw no bubbles and tasted a flat drink what a waste of my money! And the dirty glass given to me to drink it out of and not relazing it till I took a sip, go to Thai e San for the best curry you’ll ever have though

This restaurant needs to seriously consider reducing the amount of salt or some other ingredient that contains salt, otherwise 8 would say the food is not healthy and anyone with high blood pressure should not eat here.

We tried Sala time for the first time. I ordered online. On one of the items I put vegetarian and no fish sauce. They called me to let me know that the entree I selected cannot be made without fish sauce. That is great customer service!

Portion sizes are great! From my one dish it will be two to three meals for me. Food was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Everything tasted spectacular, portions were great and prices were reasonable! Highly recommend this place!

Order the crab wonton, which was more like cream cheese wonton. I got the crab fried rice, it was more or less like just rice and maybe 4 pieces of crab. The server seemed like he didn't want to be there.

Went there on Christmas Eve. We called to make sure they were open and by the time we arrived, they had our table ready for 6. The food was amazing and so was the service. This was our first time but it will definitely not be our last.

Our stop for some pad Thai and coconut curry soup! They have a huge variety of food options on their menu and honestly everything is really good and authentic.

Myself and my wife were at Sala a couple days ago and unfortunatley, we won't be going back. ( We have been to this restaurant at least 8-9 times since moving to Peoria. The beef and broccoli was over loaded with sodium....and was literally floating in soy sauce. My wife's Chowmein with beef....totally tasteless and sodium overload. Definitely don't recommend.

This is hands down the best Thai food in the northwest valley. We come here once a month and the service and food quality is always spot on perfect! This place can’t be beat!

Absolutely amazing food! The people here are all very kind and very fast. We are regulars and have been eating here almost weekly for over a year. The food quality has never changed. I highly recommend you try this place out.

We picked up our order at the front, and the food was great! I ordered the Phad Se Ew, my daughter ordered the Basil Fried Rice, and our friend ordered the Broccoli Beef. We also all shared the Vegetable Tempura and the Chicken Potstickers. It was all great, and we had enough leftovers from the main entrees to have lunch tomorrow! We'll definitely return!@

First time eating here. Very good yellow curry. We ordered the medium spice, which was not spicy at all. But other than that, we loved it and will definitely be back. Fresh ingredients. Cheap. Delicious

The staff here are friendly and attentive. It's fairly small so it has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Free parking outside. The menu has a broad selection and the food is excellent. I imagine "medium " is the perfect spicy hotness level for most people. They also serve beer.

Food is loaded with salt but overall it’s ok. When they first started, their food was amazing. Not sure if ownership changed in the last 2 years but definitely not the quality and flavor I would expect from a Thai restaurant.

I try to eat here at least once a week. Enough that Jay generally figures out what my order is going to be, and always brings me iced tea with oranges. But I eat here because the food is so amazingly good. It's so fresh, it's prepared so well; last time I went I had lunch and ordered something totally different to take for leftovers. I would really really recommend this restaurant but I don't want it to get too crowded. Okay, seriously if you like Thai food this is the place to go!

We dined in there after spending long day at hurricane harbor waterpark. Ordered papaya salad, tofu tom yum soup, veggie pad see ew, chicken pad krapow and seafood dish(don't remember the name). All dishes were tasty. We were pleased with the food and service. Atmosphere is just fine. Cleaned restroom. Food price is reasonable as well. Overall we were satisfied and glad that we picked this place while visiting Phoenix area from Texas.

Unfortunately, I will have to stop patronizing this place after coming here for years: Went here after my daughter's graduation for a family celebration and had great food and good service, as was expected, and how it always is. But to our surprise, when we got our bill for our party of 6, there was a SERVICE FEE of 20% added, in addition to the credit card processing fee! The server explained that parties of 6 or more are charged the service fee but that we wouldn't have to add a tip. Great, so tip creep has made it's way to my favorite restaurant now, destroying an institution my family loves, and this is a place that I regularly patronized AT LEAST once a week during the early years of the pandemic with to go orders, doing what I thought was my part to help keep them in business. The servers and owners who answered the phone already knew my name/phone number/order and it was a pleasure doing and being served and dining here, but this service charge is ridiculous.

I asked them to remove the fee and they said "no" so I guess I will take my business elsewhere. It's a shame because our meal was great, but the tipping culture is getting out of hand and this Sala Thai has chosen to be a part of the problem, instead of being part of the solution. It's not even the first time they've done something like this: A few years ago, they posted a sign on the door saying that ALL chicken orders were going to add a surcharge because of the shortage. Now their new menus have already reflected a price increase, which is natural and expected due to inflation and supply chain greed, and I was willing to pay that as part of the cost of eating out, but tipping and surcharges are appearing everywhere and I'm getting tired of having to deal with it.

Sardella's next door also has a credit card surcharge, Babbo Italian eatery charges a service fee on top of expected tip, Razzleberries up the road has a tipping option (for self serve froyo!) so this behavior is definitely becoming a feature, and not just a bug anymore. I bet Goodwill and QT will be next to add surcharges...

Anyway, this place is like Disneyland for me now. Love the place, love the food, but I'm getting priced out now and will have to stop coming here. I don't think this review will deter business nor is it my intent to libel or slander them, I just want people to know what to expect from here now.

We normally do take out, as the space for seating is small but food is excellent and fresh. Our favorite is the Tom Khai soup and Shrimp Tempura!! Best Thai food in Peoria, AZ

Very good Thai, great service! Spice levels are a bit on the mild side, I requested 4/5, next time will ask for 5. Whereas, my wife requested 2 and it was perfect for her. The only downside is that the Thai ice tea was served in a plastic to-go cup with a lid. Minor complaint.

The person taking my order did not ask what protein I wanted, instead assumed and added the one ( chicken) that I absolutely did not want. I thought it was going to be big pieces like the beef I ordered there before and told I would pick it out and toss it ( they did not offer to remake it after the assumption that was made and my clear distaste for it). I got it home and the pieces of chicken are shredded and very difficult to pick out, I will not be back.

Great family-owned and run Thai spot with yummy food for a fair price. Spice option is 1-5, and the 4 was decently spicy. I had their Panang Curry with chicken - so good!! Service was awesome, spot is chill. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon.

Sala Thai Glendale location is the best.
Food is excellent, drinks and appetizers were served promptly.

Amazing food and service

We just moved to Surprise and I found this place was the closest with good reviews so I made the journey and man it didn't disappoint. Chicken pad thai is so good here. I get it with no peanuts and spice level 3.
Anyway I went today with all 3 of my babies to pick up an order because I am pregnant and this is all I want/can keep down. I was a 30 min drive both ways and the nicest lady answered the phone and let me pay from outside so I didn't have to bring all of my babies in to pay and she brought my pick up out to me. This kindness really impacted me. She had pretty chrome nails, I wish I got her name but she was so kind and I'm happy to drive here for this service and great food.

Great food, amazing staff. We are huge Thai food fans and struggled to find a good Tom Kha and Pad Thai since we moved to the area. We have found it and learned there is a HUGE jump between 3 & 4 on their heat scale.

Consistently good food. Lot of vegetarian options. Fast service. Good portion. One of the better Thai places in the vicinity. Definitely recommended!

Best Thai I have had in a while. My go-to place did something to their food and I have been lost, but I think I found my replacement. The Papaya Salad was my favorite. Seafood Tom Yum was delicious. Broth is flavorful. The spicy bamboo dish flavor was on point. Everything was cooked well. No soggy noodles. Spicy levels were real. They don't play around with a 4. Only thing that was not my favorite was the chicken pad thai. It is yummy to some I am sure, but for how I like my pad thai, it did not hit the spot. Personal preference? The other dishes we got were far superior. Service was impeccable. Always had a full glass of water. Thank you Sala Thai. I will be back.

He's been bringing me here since the early days of our relationship. We recommend this to friends and visitors. We still do date nights here and occasionally order in as well. I have enjoyed everything I've tried, but the pineapple fried rice and the garlic chicken are favorites. It's so wonderful to be in a community with great places like this!

I got pad Thai spicy 🌶️ at a 3 . It was spicy . But very good . I had the vegetable 🥗 egg 🥚 rolls they were bland and my other got coconut 🥥 shrimp 🍤 which I don’t eat so I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️. He said it was a lot of breading not enough shrimp 🦐. Overall I took a menu cuz I enjoyed their food 🍱 enough to come back and try more .

I love Thai food and am a foodie for sure. Based on the Reviews, I decided to try Sala Thai, I was expecting much better. Sadly, I should've followed my instincts when I pulled up outside and it looked so dark, I thought the place is closed or not there anymore. Upon entering, it's also quite dark inside, warm temp, and smelled like a sewer. 🙁 There were just a couple tables dining in and they left soon after, making me the only diner in this place. The server was more interested in hanging out with the other staff and couldn't even tell me which dish the photo on the menu was. I decided to try the Fresh Rolls with Shrimp, not too bad. I had to request peanut sauce as it came with a soy based type of sauce. I also ordered the Spicy Green Beans with Shrimp. Menu description says it's in a Bold Chili Paste, wasn't quite what I expected, beans were barely cooked and in a soupy type of sauce. They were kind enough to try and cook them a bit more, still not great. Tasted like boiled green beans with a broth poured over. Shrimp was good and everything was fresh, so that's a plus. It was a very uncomfortable experience and unenjoyable as well. Especially when spending nearly $26 with tax+tip on lunch. Maybe it depends on what you order🤔 and if you order take out instead of dining in, you're probably better off. As for me, I won't be back. There's better Thai in the area.

Food is good but the attitude of the people are pathetic , no standard time of dine in or take away , google shows open till 9 pm but the owner says dine in order taken till 8:30 and actually when you reach at 8:20 they say dine in order is only until 8 pm today so it’s there own whims and fancy , PATHETIC , what is more annoying is you are eating and they start cleaning your table and mopping floor , horrible service experience , restaurant is being managed on the mood of staff

Service was great, but the pad thai tasted funny, just not the same. It tasted too sweet and very bland, no flavor. I've been here before and had no problems, so maybe I'll try it again. Definitely give it a try and make your own decision.

Not my first visit and definitely not my last. The food here is just so good every single time, no matter what I get. We ate in this time and took home food for others and everyone gave rave reviews. I had the fried garlic chicken and it was just so amazing. He had fried rice that was also very tasty. The reviews for the pad Thai, the spicy eggplant and coconut shrimp were also glowing. I'm so thankful to have such a place so close to home!

Food is very good. Till now I have tried BBQ shrimp, drunken noodles,spicy fried rice and pad Thai noodles. Food is served quickly and it's tasty too. They do maintain spice levels which is great thing! I love ambiance.
They close their kitchen at 8.15PM and asked us to order everything within 10 mins. Didn't ask for drinks. They did give water and asked straight for what we want to order. While, we were eating they kept cleaning around and turning all chairs upside down (which is a good thing)... But wasn't great dinning feeling. We probably won't dine in again.

Ordered two soups, spring rolls and the ribs for $42.00 plus tip. The ribs were burnt with ribs and meat hacked with a cleaver server along with two large inedible cucumber slices. The spring rolls could have used peanut sauce. All-in-all, I see a restaurant living off a unearned reputation.

I was in town for a couple of days and found this Thai place. Food was very good, flavorful like you would expect I'm a Thai restaurant. Service was prompt and knowledgeable. I have celiac so Thai is usually safe but I always check any way. I had no reaction and the food was marked GF on the receipt. They do their spicy level 1-5 I had my spicy fish dish at a 3 and it was just right my wife had the drunken noodles and we split a ton kha Gai soup all we're excellent. If I lived in the area I'd definitely eat here often. It was packed by the time we left which is a good sign as to the quality of the food.
