Snug spot with traditionally clad servers offering Thai favorites like green curry & chicken satay.
Panang Curry (beef) asked for spicy level Thai Hot. Partner got yellow curry regular spice level. The Panang curry was mainly meat and sauce. It was spicy but not the spicy level I expect from Thai hot. Almost zero vegetables. There was one slice of red pepper and one slice of a chili. The curry itself was very heavy peanut flavor. Almost grainy texture. It was good but just not my cup of tea. The yellow curry was the best we’ve ever had. Quick service and friendly staff. Would go back but not for Panang. Had the Panang from Bhan Thai and it was full of green beans and they used lime leaves so it had a brighter, fresh taste. Not like peanuts. It was also Thai hot. Made my eyes water a bit and nose run. Also the serving size at Bhan Thai was much larger (cost more) then the one here at Thai House. Thai House serving size is perfect if you want no left overs.
I had the Thai noodles soup and egg rolls. I found the noodles to be a bit light in flavor. It only comes with beef from the menu (no meatball, tendons, etc like in other states). Nevertheless, it was decent and made me a bit less homesick. The eggrolls were good if you like your dipping sauce in the sweeter side. Staff is definitely superb. They will go above and beyond to make your meal enjoyable. The restaurant is not very big, not sure how they will accommodate in rush hours. There is a small parking on the side, which I thought it was nice. I think it fits about 9 cars. Cute and quaint, I’d come back. 👍🏻
AMAZING!!! Food was outstanding, best I've ever had. I'm completely stuffed and yet my mouth is watering just thinking about the food we just ate! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, despite being short-staffed. The atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. Highly recommend, especially if you have an intolerance/allergy/sensitivity to gluten.
We loved eating here!! Great cozy restaurant with your receipt hand written in Thai! Super authentic, tasty and the food comes in all different spice levels. Drunken noodles with tons of beef and sauce and the green curry with chicken. Just a note the rice is extra and doesn't come included with the curry. Eat here for sure. Worth it, especially with all the Gluten free options!!
好吃的泰式料理
Several locals recommended this restaurant, and they were spot on. I ordered the Red Curry medium spice level with chicken and brown rice. The spice level was on point, it was a delicious and the rice was cooked perfectly. The staff was quick and friendly. I would definitely go back!
Very good food got yellow curry, Pad Thai and fresh rolls. Staff was very nice when picking.

Seems innocuous but is the wome of the best Thai food I've ever had! The pad see ew is amazing. If you're in fairbanks it is a must visit!
I got there a few minutes before they opened and they offered to let me come in out of the cold and hang out while they finished setting up. The restaurant is full of beautiful art, the service was great, and the food was DELICIOUS. I got the beef massaman curry and it was some of the best I've ever had. I loved how peanut-y the curry was and the meat was very tender. Thai iced tea and spring rolls were great, too.
We were there at 8:45 and it was close. Change your business hours if it has Been changed.
Pretty good
wow, amazing food! really enjoyed it.
Ordered their fresh rolls, chicken wings & crispy egg rolls, yellow curry and chicken satay, green curry with tofu, chicken fried rice, coconut ice cream with sticky rice. Everything turned out really good! Came back for their delicious Thai chicken wings! 🤤 The best in town! Always friendly customer service too thank you.
This restaurant was on my list to try while in Fairbanks, and it didn't disappoint. We had the fried egg rolls, chicken pad Thai, and chicken fried rice. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Servings were plentiful. Wish we had a great Thai restaurant in Florida.
Superb service and food. Pad Thai taste so good.
Fried Rice and Panang Curry were soo good.
Delicious Thai dishes. More than typical serving sizes. For how spicy, three selections, mild, medium, and hot.
Yummy
The thai food was on point. And the Thai tea was one of the best that I had. The service was not that great. I had to get up and ask for eating utensils. Then my egg roll came during my meal instead of before my meal. They have an entrance on the side that brings you awkwardly into a table. Go to the front door. Much more smoother.
The drunken noodles are good
Delicious fresh tasting Thai food. We had chicken garlic and vegetables with rice and chicken pad Thai. The chicken and vegetables was especially deliciouss, light, sweet but not cloying and very fresh mix of vegetables. I didn’t expect such excellent Thai food in Fairbanks, Alaska. The service was very good, friendly and attentive. The building is a little run down but everything else is first rate. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and great service.
Food was delicious! Amazing service as well.
I was just in Fairbanks for a day, this place is good for Thai food, 6 min walk from Westmark hotel
Great food.
Our favorite Thai in Alaska. Love it every time
Great food, lovely people.
We were please to find a thai restaurant with good review in Fairbank.
We ordered Drunken noddles wich was absolutely delicious, lots of taste!
But the green curry toffu was way to spicy despite our ask to be mild, other than that the rice was well cooked and the curry good flavor just too spicy.
The Green tea was good and got 2 refilled without asking and the cold tjai coffee was a bit too sweet.
Overall we really recommand this restaurant!
They have a good selection of vegetarian options!
Great atmosphere, staff is nice, friendly, efficient...they served the food very quickly and it was delicious. The drunken noodles in particular were the best I ever had.
Free parking for about 7 cars.
Delicious! Really friendly staff. I asked for medium spice and got zero spice. I was able to add my own chili oil and that made it perfect. It might have just been a misunderstanding on the spice level and what I wanted.
Great curry and fast service.
Atmosphere great, lively but no chaotic
Service very kind and gracious
Price better than other restaurant
Food very flavorful and variety of dishes
My Curry came out 5 minutes after I ordered it. It was barely warm so not fresh, Just reheated in chef Microwave. I ordered it hot and spicy. It came out mild and definitely not hot. Seriously lacked depth of flavor. Not what I expect from Thai food.
The pineapple fried rice was the best dish I have ever had at a Thai restaurant - deep layers of flavor melding shrimp, pineapple, veggies, cashews and raisins with perfectly seasoned rice. It was truly an experience. Service was excellent. A must stop if you are in the area and appreciate Thai food.
This place is incredible. We are on a cruise and place is so great! We were referred here by a previous cruise couple and this is a must stop when you are in Fairbanks. Awesome.
A lot of people’s favorite Thai spot in town but I don’t think it hits the spot quite like lemongrass but it’s a good atmosphere and the place most likely to be packed on a random week day
Long wait even though my order was ready, food was mediocre
Our waitress, Noi, provided friendly, professional and efficient service. Great food and ambience. The green tofu dish was wonderful.
Amazing Thai food. Friendly staff.
Can't speak to every dish. We got several and they were all good, but the pad thai was as good or better than any I've ever had. Pretty impressive to stack up like that.
I had the Thai noodles soup and egg rolls. I found the noodles to be a bit light in flavor. It only comes with beef from the menu (no meatball, tendons, etc like in other states). The food was decent. But the menu was limited, it didn't have a lot of the common Thai food items
Nice place to enjoy good Thai food when you are in Fairbanks, they have parking space and there is public parking too. Food is good, yellow curry was rightly spiced and pineapple fried rice had the right flavors, they can modify the ingredients if needed to make it suitable for kids. The pineapple fried rice had lots of cashews and raisins, which I didn't like but not something for me to worried about. They didn't give rice along with curries,so , we need to pay extra for the rice.Overall clean place with good and decent food options.
Great Thai food with wonderful, polite, and friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable seating, and clean facility. It's worth the time and reasonably priced for the serving sizes.
The best thai food in AK. The tast are very close to thailand authentic tradition but you can tone down the spiciness by askin.
only my parents and her group of friends went here yesterday but they told us they loved it and the food was delicious. she brought me back yellow curry but i’ve yet to try it. i was too tired from the trip to go eat out with them 😫 also they speak lao/thai and the menu was helpful.
The best pad Thai I’ve ever had! Food came out quick despite it being prime dinner hours.
AMAZING!!! Food was outstanding, best I've ever had. I'm completely stuffed and yet my mouth is watering just thinking about the food we just ate! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, despite being short-staffed. The atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. I don’t know how they got 4.5 star . Today I ordered that noodle which is very salty and sweet. Thai Milk tea is too sweet and barely have tea taste . Deep fried fish is not crispy enough. The worst part is my friend chew a small piece of glass in the fish ,we told the restaurant about that. The lady (who looks like the owner) was like she didn’t believe us . About 10mins later she came to us and said they won’t charge for the fish and sorry. We said we don’t wanna get it free we just wanted you be careful when you prepare the dishes. Then she only said sorry and left . She kept avoiding from us instead of sincere apology. Very unpleasant and worst experience in Alaska. I wish I could rate minus star .
Love this place! Some of the best Thai food in Fairbanks.
Amazing Thai food .
Food was delicious.
Great place.
Seems very famous and popular.
So apparently this area is kind of known for their Thai food. We had takeout from here on our way out of town. I had chicken Pad Thai and my husband had a red salmon curry dish. It was all delicious! The portions were very generous. We actually brought it to the airport and were bummed we would have to throw some away- we definitely could have split one entree. Instead, we stuffed our faces, it was so good. No regrets. Highly recommend.
What a pleasant surprise to see such a vibrant Thai food scene in Fairbanks! We were on our way to the airport and decided to grab food from here instead of eating at the airport - so glad we did! Fast, friendly service, very authentic and delicious food / drinks. I look forward to returning during my next visit to Fairbanks!
Thai house is one of the reliable Thai food restaurant for Vegetarians, where they have reasonably good options for vegetarians. We loved the food here and the service is also quick. It is just that it is nestled in the town, but getting there is not that complex.
We liked the service, food and location. So, definitely a good place.
The chicken (no.50) is very good! Service is also good, the staff showed us when and where to observe aurora.
Group of 5 of us seated , and never got asked what we wanted to drink or eat. Meanwhile a table of two were seated after us and were attended after us. And so we waited a bit more longer and still nothing so we left. Terrible
Very delicious food! Very friendly staff! I will definitely be back!
Had the yellow curry with chicken. Was outstanding. Sweetest staff. Took me back to my time in Thailand.
Best Thai food in Alaska. Miss it dearly now that I'm in Anchorage!
We ordered takeout for the family. The food was delicious! Some of the best Thai food in Fairbanks.
Authentic and genuine Thai atmosphere and hospitality ... GREAT service ... 5-star Drunken Noodle ... ICE COLD Singha beer ... only complaint is that Thai House is some 4k miles from home
Food came to the table quickly and man was that good food delicious. I'd love to return.
Thai House was our first stop in Fairbanks, and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious! The staff is friendly and the service was great. We asked for chili paste and the kitchen made us fish sauce with chili flakes. My husband and I had never tried that before and let me tell you it's was to die for. We even had some made to go. Just an amazing place.
The chicken curry, very delicious.
The best restaurant in all Fairbanks! For sure a must stop if your here!! The food has so much flavor and awesome portions.
Great food
Food was okay, basically grey matter for pad Thai. The waiter/ owner breathes down your back demanding a tip for their aggressive service. Definitely not my favorite fairbanks Thai place.
Great food for years and service but I’m a little dis hearted with the reduction in portions and not by a little but a lot, I’m talking by half. I’m not sure if this is cutbacks, only for take out but I’ve walked in on two different occasions and notice ones sitting down at tables with the same dish I order with large portions but once I get to work and open mine it’s half of what I use to order just a month or so ago.
Time of day doesn’t matter a clear reduction of half my portions. I understand things are tough for everyone and I believe in supporting local businesses but to charge me the same price and give a noticeable amount less isn’t what I’ll support.
I’ll call them tomorrow and ask because they deserve that.
Great food and sit in but noticeable reduction in portion of food.
Definitely a top 10 for Drunken Noodle.
Warm welcome with Thai Smile.
Food taste is super great! the genuinely taste of Thai is here!
If you are Thais, staff can speak Thai :)
The ambient and background music is Thai traditional mood like in Thai ancient palace.
Personally, all food that I ordered is great in case you wanna follow.
The food was delicious (with vegetarian options!) and the servers were very kind. If I find my way back to Fairbanks I’ll certainly head back.
Great food. First ordered green curry with jasmine rise. Loved it! Went again next day for yellow curry.
Solid spot, the curry was super good and the service was really friendly and fast even during the dinner rush.
Incredible customer service and extremely accommodating host. We had pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, drunken noodles, coconut soup with chicken and mushrooms. Everything was flavorful and the soup was exceptional. Portions are big and shareable. Loved the decor too.
Decent little Thai place. We had Pad Thai. It was good, but lacked a bit on flavor for us. We are used to the dish having a stronger flavor- maybe it’s fish sauce? This one didn’t have that, and was slightly sweet. Definitely delicious though. I would return to try another dish if I had time.
We were staying nearby and stopped in for a quick dinner. I ordered my Pad Thai mild - the first time I eat somewhere I never know how hot it will be - and it was tasty, had super fresh bean sprouts, and there was absolutely no burn. Next time I'll order medium with some spice on the side, because I do like some bite. Hubby had pineapple fried rice, it included small black beans and had a sweet, cinnamony flavour. The generous serving of pineapple on the side was very, very fresh. Both dishes were too big for us to finish, we could have split one and been satisfied. They didn't have many people working, but even with a completely full dining room they were attentive and the dishes arrived quickly. There seemed to be quite a few locals eating, so I guess we stumbled onto their secret!
No spice, no flavor
Fried pork egg rolls DO NOT have pork in them
All raw cabbage, zero flavor
Their fried rice has no flavor, spices brought to table to add yourself
Rice is saturated/cooked in too much liquid
Chicken very dry
I do not recommend eating here
Disappointing for sure
The customer service was the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff were not only very kind, but they also were very attentive. For example, they made sure to fill up water without you needing to ask and gave more napkins when they saw you needed them. The food also came in a timely manner, and the prices and quantity were very good. As a vegetarian, there were a lot of good options.
Best thai food in Fairbanks alaska
The Pad See Ew with chicken was absolutely wonderful, the chicken satay was fabulous and the Thai Tea Coffee was amazing! What was especially remarkable was the service, they were obviously very busy just hitting the lunch rush when I came in to place my pick up order but they still had the best service, and gave me updates on my order. Really friendly and definitely above and beyond!
Food quality is always consistent, delicious and we love to eat at this restaurant. The make us feel special 👍👍
It’s good.
Very delicious meal with a great staff and the meals came out pretty quickly. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu mild spice, my only disappointment was the mild was not as spicy as I was hoping, I would definitely order medium or hot if you actually like any spice. The meal was a generous portion and wonderful!!
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly!
Pleasant clean atmosphere. A little pricey but the portions are large. The curries are amazing and had excellent quality chicken and beef. The pad Thai looked amazing and wish I would have ordered. Will be coming here everytime I visit Fairbanks.
Excelent food!!
Good quality every visit!
The food was really good. That Pad See Ew was the best I've ever had. Their pad Thai was okay and their drunken noodles were really good. We had 11 people eating and we all thought it was really good. They were really nice about making space for our large party, since their place isn't that big. They have a lot of different options to pick, wish they had more noodle dishes.
Fast, friendly, delicious! The Thai Tea was perfect the Chicken Satay was Mmmm. Highly recommend you stop in and check them out.
Excellent meal tasty, hot and well priced. Well worth a visit.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks. I eat here at least once per week, and the food is ALWAYS perfection!
Great food and good value
Very good flavor and the largest pieces of chicken I have ever had in curry.
Good Thai option in downtown Fairbanks.
Delicious Thai food prepared and served in a flash. Nice sized portions that allow each sharing.
Good atmosphere and good food
Great food. Great service
1. The Red curry had 1/2 inch of grease in it and zero vegetables.
2. The fried rice had tomato’s in it zero eggs and vegetables in it.
“You need to lawn how to walk be4 you can wok!”
“Wheh u fine u a good cook? If cook not good get rid of it!”
“Y so mush grease? Are you kidding me?”

Lowered expectations!
And I heard so many good things about your food.
Perhaps next time it’s going to be better.
Room for improvement.
This place is really cute on the inside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and so was the thai tea. Overall a great place to warm up your belly in the dead of winter.
非常棒喔🎉🎉🎉
WAY overpriced, but delicious food.
Delicious food all the way around our table!
The staff was very friendly.
I really don’t understand how come this restaurant has a such great eating here!
First, the staff was standoffish, leaving my group of six people unattended for a long time. We didn’t get seated or water for a long time, and the fountain drinks here don’t have free refills.
Second, one of the dishes given to us had oil stains.
Third, the food taste here is still mediocre and value is poor while its pricing is almost catching up the Thai restraints in NYC. All meat served was dry and hard to chew and swallow. I am very curious how they made the meat so dry in a soup with noodles or in their Yellow Curry. I would love to know the secret!
Overall, I think the only reason this restaurant is still standing is because it doesn’t have any competition in this little town. Seeing countless tourists from my country getting ripped off here makes me sad. FYI: I think the restaurant has some sort of corporation with some Chinese touring companies that keep sending Chinese tourists to this restaurant, which probably makes people who aren’t familiar with Asian food think this is a good Asian food restaurant while it really isn’t.
Fairbanks has the best Thai food in the state and Thai House doesn't dissapoint.
Great food, great service. Highly recommended.
Very nice background music
I love that they serve single portions of their spring rolls and egg rolls. They ran out of fresh rolls ($2.95 for 1); how does that even happen at a Thai place? So, I got an egg roll (also $2.95 for 1) instead; it was okay but wasn't great. It was small and the dipping sauce tasted like duck sauce with crushed peanuts.
I got the green curry with chicken ($19.95). It was oily, and the chicken was bland, tough, and overcooked. Vegetables were not prepared well; the peppers still had the fishy innards and seeds and the basil was stemmy. I got white rice ($2 charged separately) and it was good, and a large portion. Both came out with the top layer cold. But luckily, it's a bowl of curry so mixing the hot under-layer made it warm enough to eat comfortably.
I got some Thai hot tea ($3 with free refills). It was good.
Amazing service and great food. The beef pad thai and chicken curry were delicious. The chicken larb salad was also very tasty and traditional with the rice powder. Wish there was a bit more lettuce with the salad though. Overall would highly recommend this place for Thai food!
I am always thankful when a Thai restaurant specifically calls out about fish sauce - much respect for just that! All dishes that we ordered tasted wonderful ! The spice level medium was likely mild ( for me personally) but overall very much enjoyed the food !
Really good Thai tea & egg rolls!
Food was good, most had large portions, staff was so nice even though we were ordering to go.
Favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks - their pad Thai is fantastic and they have the best yellow and green curries in town. They're also extremely fast and I've always had great service here. very clean restaurant as well. Highly recommend.
Fast service and absolutely incredible food. The fresh rolls were scrumptious, and the yellow curry was bursting with flavour. Definitely recommend the Tom-Kha soup as well.
I was excited to try this place. It was good but I expected it to be even better with all the amazing reviews.
My experience here was. Beautiful, coupled with the sumptuous meals.
I have been here twice I like the fried ice cream, Thai restaurant serves a good food. And the have an authentic atmosphere
Waoooooooooooooo!!!!!
Looks like Africans' food. Well cooked rice with chicken.
