Big portions of Thai classics provided in a tranquil, elegantly decorated eatery with happy hour.
I tried the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, and I have to say, it’s the best I’ve had in the Seattle area so far! The flavors were on point, though I think the pork could be sliced a bit thinner to enhance its crispiness. The eggplant dish was another highlight—caramelized beautifully, with the ingredients perfectly infused with fresh basil.
The Thai tea was outstanding—not overly sweet, with a fresh, aromatic hint of cinnamon. However, the side soup could use improvement as it was served slightly cold.
The overall dining experience was excellent. There’s plenty of parking available, and the servers were attentive and hospitable, always keeping our water glasses full.
I’ll definitely be back!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impressively quick. Parking is ample, which is a big plus. While there are often wait times, they are usually not too long. The only drawback is the ambience, which could use an upgrade as it shows some signs of wear and tear. Overall, a great spot for tasty Thai cuisine!
Great place for fine dining, I had the yellow curry with shrimp and brown rice. The curry was excellent, lots of shrimp, perfect taste. First time I tried the brown rice (not a fan) I had the Tamarind Sour cocktail which was OK, depending on ones pallette I guess. Overall its a good place. And yes, the staff a very pleasant and very attentive , service is quick.
A good selection of cocktails and a variety of entrees and appetizers makes this a great choice if you are craving for some good thai food.
The ambience is great with terrific service . We ordered the old fashion and basil bourbon which was pricey.
We got the coconut soup which was delicious along with some spring rolls and chicken satay.
Then for the main course we got the green curry , the cashew tofu and the jungle curry .
The jungle curry was the most underwhelming dish - the gravy seemed watery , the veggies seemed undercooked .
The rest of the dishes were good but the above one really disappoints.
Overall we were excited for this place, a little disappointed but would want to give it another try
Really nice restaurant! Decor and atmosphere was wonderful, and the food even better. The eggplant stir-fry is one of my favorite Thai dishes, and this place now has my favorite of it. All the other dishes we had were great too, along with the drinks - Tamarind whiskey sour and spiced Thai iced tea.
Great food & service!
Can’t go wrong with this restaurant.
Delicious food, great service with great atmosphere!
The food use to be really good now it's cold and plain. The steak was cold and nasty. A long island ice tea was 22 dollars not even worth it.
My favorite Thai food place. I get the crispy garlic chicken often. I’ve gone to the Redmond and Capital Hill locations, both have great service.
Authentic Thai Flavors with Excellent Service
Bai Tong in Redmond is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The food is consistently flavorful, fresh, and authentic, with a great balance of spices and textures. Their Pad Thai and Panang Curry are must-tries, packed with rich flavors and perfectly cooked proteins. The Tom Yum soup is also a standout, offering just the right amount of tangy and spicy goodness.
Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The staff is warm, attentive, and efficient, making sure every guest feels welcome. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy yet modern decor that enhances the dining experience.
Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special night out, Bai Tong never disappoints. Highly recommended!
My favorite Thai place by far 😍
Great food and fast
Great place to visit. We loved the food and the ambience.
The food and service made our family dinner most enjoyable.
I would love this place more as some of the best Thai in the area, if they would STOP OVERCOOKING THE GARLIC CHICKEN. It's like eating wood. Please teach your staff how to properly cook it! You should not need to burn chicken to make it safe guys.
We had delightful service and food. My Crab Fried Rice was delicious. We love coming to Bai Tong!
Enjoyed a lovely meal served with hospitality and smile. Ambience is very cozy for both lunch and dinner.
Delicious made with fresh ingredients. A very busy restaurant so can be a bit noisy. We do come here all the time so can definitely recommend.
Food is delicious
I’d order the pad khi mao and crispy garlic chicken again!
The takeout has really fallen off at this location. It might be a dine in only establishment because for the past 3 takeout orders in a row(months apart) at least one of the entrees tastes like it was cooked in a large batch and sat in a container waiting to be ordered for an unsuspecting customer to be disappointed by.
All the staff are really nice, pleasant, and courteous but you go to a restaurant for the food and not to just stare at a pretty face.
The food and service are great. It was very loud when we went.
I’ve been a long time patron of Bai Tong. They have great food and great service. Specific shoutout to our waitress Jee who was exceptional today as we celebrated my dad’s birthday. She was very professional, friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs.
As a delivery driver, this place is great. Every single time I pickup from their restaurant their food is ready to go and ready for pick up. However they use paper bags and about 10 to 20% of my orders The bag always rips because they put hot liquid plastic cups in their bags and somebody needs to tell them that liquid and paper do not mix and hot and paper do not mix so the bags always rip
Extremely slow service both to order and in getting the check... the food was not bad, but found Thai Ginger to be tastier
Very good atmosphere.
If you've ever had authentic upscale Thai food in Southeast Asia, you'll like this place. It's the closest thing I can find to actual Thai food in the immediate area and perhaps all of greater Seattle.
Everything is not loaded with broccoli. That's a good sign. 😆
Excellent quality Thai food. My favorite place in Bellevue.
We were able to come in and sit at a bar top seating instead of waiting the 30 min for the standard seating. All staff seemed engaged and were able to take our orders in a timely manner. That was the fasted I’ve ever received an appetizer after placing the order. Food presentation was great and the food was delicious! Portions are large, so you could definitely share a meal and an appetizer. I would recommend Bai Tong to any a Thai food lovers!
If you like Thai Food, please check out this restaurant. The menu has selections I have not seen in other Thai Restaurants. Prices are in line with other Thai Restaurants. The food quality combined with the exceptional customer service make this restaurant a must visit.
Good food and service, and some interesting menu items unique to their restaurant. Will return!
My stomach got upset after eating here. Worst food ever
I will say the food is good, but the most important was the service. They were really helpful and kind.
Authentic Thai Flavors That Never Disappoint!
Bai Tong Thai Restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the cozy ambiance and warm hospitality make you feel right at home.
The food here is nothing short of spectacular. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) was perfectly spiced and packed with bold, fresh flavors. The Tom Kha soup was rich, creamy, and aromatic, with just the right balance of coconut and tangy lime. And the Green Curry? A masterpiece—velvety, flavorful, and brimming with perfectly cooked vegetables and tender meat.
The staff is fantastic—attentive, friendly, and eager to recommend dishes or customize spice levels to your preference. Their genuine care for their guests makes the experience even better.
If you're looking for an authentic taste of Thailand, Bai Tong Thai Restaurant is the perfect destination. Every dish is crafted with love and authenticity, and I can’t wait to come back for more!
We love Bai Tong food. The service is excellent. The only problem is it can be too loud at times making it hard to have a conversation.

Great food and atmosphere!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Service was great. Fun atmosphere. Robots help to deliver your food. Drinks from the bar were really good too.
I placed a takeout order for two people having a business lunch. Both ordered the same dish, with the only difference being the spice level. Unfortunately, the containers weren’t labeled, so I had no way of knowing which was which. I pointed this out to the hostess, who inspected them but clearly couldn’t tell the difference. She said, “Give me a moment,” and took the containers to the back. About 30 seconds later, she returned with them labeled and handed them back to me.
After thinking about it, I can’t help but wonder how she identified the difference so quickly. Thirty seconds wasn’t enough time to prepare two new dishes, so I’m left speculating that she might have tasted them to tell them apart. Her attitude during the interaction felt dismissive, and the lack of explanation only added to my unease.
I’m bothered by the experience and wouldn’t return myself (but I might have to for work).
Amazing food and great staff! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Thai or people looking for something fun or new to eat.
Will come here again
Nice
Food was really delicious and customer service was great too. Penang curry was the best.
Great! The entree portions were large, but spring roll appetizers are very small! The waiter was very kind and even told me what brand of lychee juice they have
Food and the atmosphere was great. The service was exceptional!!
This is first Thai restaurant I came across which don’t give rice with curry dishes . You have to pay extra . Food and quantity is average .. service was good ..Fried rice was very average
A bit pricey but the food is delicious. They can be busy so you may have to wait. The pad see ew is awesome.
Loved the chicken satay, they are huge compared to other restaurants. Peanut sauce is top notch. Loved the mirror pathway to restrooms. Overall, great experience. We visited because of a friend recommendation, and didn't regret
Always excellent and a feast for the palate.
Always excellent in all ways. Well done, Baitong.
Solid place for Thai food
Impossible to get a hold of anyone here. Have tried calling for takeout for past 20 minutes and no one answering. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
They take a good care of the interior and exterior. Vegetarian dishes are clearly marked, but be careful because they usually add an egg. It is better to reserve a table before you come to the restaurant. However, I’ve been waiting for 30-45 minutes only once.
Overcrowded.
Priced higher when compared to alternatives
All physical copy of Menus are almost blank. I don’t know, why they don’t change it. It’s difficult to read what’s in the menu.
Great place
We celebrated my mother - in - law's birthday here yesterday afternoon. Overall, everything was fine. 4 out of 5 stars all around. We had brought a cake to celebrate. Added on to the bill was a $15 cake fee (no disclosure of this when we asked about it). Our bill exceeded $200 and the pettiness of this charge will cause me to think twice the next time someone suggests Bai Tong for a meal.
The dishes were okay. Curry was good. But Fresh Roll was so so. However, their sauce was delicious.
My preference would be bit more brighter interior.
Update dec 1. Love the service very attentive and clean all around, no weird smells or anything. Good as always very good.
Update sep 17. Order3d out my favorite coconut seafood soup. Cant wait to go home to eat it.
There thia chai is just a bit too sweet for me but maybe because i didn't ask for ice but non the less very goodd
Wonderful food, fast service, clean place. For sure will be going back.
Top Thai in Washington
Bai Tong Restaurant in Bellevue is a Thai gem! The fresh rolls are light and flavorful, the Tom Yum soup is perfectly spiced and tangy, and the Bai Tong noodles are a delicious mix of savory and sweet. Great food and excellent service—highly recommend!
Excellent Thai food in Redmond area. Have been here twice and both the times the food was delicious. For a vegetarian like myself there are good options. I suggest Tom yum soup with just vegetables. And pineapple fried rice is a must order for vegetarians. It is amazing! Oh and don’t forget to pay attention to the spice levels. Their medium spice is a little higher than other mediums.
Great selection of delicious foods in a very nicely decorated restaurant that works for casual as well as formal dining. I've eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed.
The menu situation gives an immediate bad impression. There aren't enough menus to give to patrons and the ones that are available are worn down and not accurate, disappointing. The fresh roles with peanut sauce were good. The phad Thai, which needs to be elevated and delicious to separate the the good from the mediocre, was disappointing.
Authentic Thai cuisine, served quickly in congenial surroundings. Arroy Maak!
It was amazing and tasteful experience. This place has a good vibe.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. Good service.
I came here and liked the food here I ordered yellow curry with shrimp and brown rice I found it very tasty I will come back
Good food and good atmosphere
Delicious food and great service
Good food, service and atmosphere
Yesterday, I ordered Pad Thai online, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The food didn’t taste fresh at all, and the flavors were completely bland. When I got home, I found the noodles were hard and clumped together as if they’d been frozen. I ended up having to throw it out—definitely not the experience I was hoping for.
This is definitely a 5 star restaurant, and the food is exceptional!
We were literally treated like special guests by the staff. I recommend Bai Tong every time.
Always a relaxing place to enjoy lunch. Great Thai food
Great food with good quantity.
This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants in the Seattle area with multiple locations! We had excellent service in Redmond from Gibb P.
We had visited this place multiple times. It has been consistently good. We love chicken satay, fried spring roll and chilli fried rice. I recommend avoiding Pad Sei -Iew, it is smoky taste and seemed extremely dry.
Pad thai was good, but avoid spicy level 5 instead i will choose 4 or 3
What a beautiful restaurant. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Service was great with no complaints. I felt the Pad Thai was a little too sweet for my liking but my wife's glass noodle salad was really good.
If you have allergies such as peanut, please read and be aware. This place should be more concerning about people with food allergies. First, this place is very dark, so it is very hard to read the menu clearly; Second, menu usually says something like "chicken with traditional red curry", but what ingredients are in that curry? Does it contain anything can cause allergy reactions? It doesn't say; Third, their waiters/waitresses are clearly not trained to deal with customers who have potential food allergies, so they don't even ask you if you have any food allergies when they take your orders.
With this kind of service and when I left with a kid who was suffering the allergy reaction, and we were eager to get out, the cashier still asked me to use credit card for a tip after I paid full amount using gift cards.
This place has no idea when to ask for a tip and how to deal with customers. Only impression I got from my first and will be my last visit is their arrogance and rude, and that impression will not be able to be reverted simply by their food or their so called environment. The least I can do is to make sure my experience is shared and suggest people I know to not visit there.
Very good Thai food at reasonable prices. Ambiance and service also good too.
Very tasty food and good place to go for birthday celebration
Great place for some fabulous Thai food! Our server Alex was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was delicious and served quickly.
The pad thai was HORRIBLE, absolutely INEDIBLE. The noodles were all clumped together, the sauce super sweet, and totally tasteless. Never again, I would give them ZERO STARS.
Good food. Good service.
Loved the food, huge portions. The waitress was super kind and helped us with navigating the menu. My child tried Thai food for the first time and she loved it.
Great food all around.
Always a great dining experience. Wide range of options to choose from. They now have kids menu as well
Have tried many dishes over years and all of them have turned out great. Today tried Khao Soi with chicken and it also turned out awesome.
Super dining experience. Definitely 5 stars service and great food.
Food taste good
Really authentic Thai place, highly recommended
Overrated place
The menus are old and interiors need a serious upkeep
Coming to food, it is strictly average.
We ordered Tom yum soup which was served in 2 mins. No flavour just boiled water with chilli and vegetables
For main course we had Pad Thai noodles which were also average with no aroma or flavour. The food seemed to be cooked in hurry.
The servers were pleasant and helpful but cannot help if the food quality is not good.
Avoid this Thai place.
Very nice quality Thai restaurant. Might need reservations. You can eat at bar. Take out is popular too. Drunken Noodles with chicken is my go to dish.
Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Redmond is a fantastic spot for vegetarian lovers! I recently tried their Pumpkin Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Green Curry, and was thoroughly impressed with the vibrant, authentic flavors, all easily customizable for vegetarians.
The Pumpkin Curry was outstanding, featuring a creamy coconut base with tender chunks of pumpkin. The rich, savory-sweet combination was perfect, and the tofu option made it an ideal vegetarian dish.
The Pineapple Fried Rice was equally delicious. The rice was light, filled with juicy pineapple chunks, cashews, and vegetables, creating an exciting mix of sweet and savory flavors—an excellent choice for a vegetarian meal.
Lastly, the Green Curry was a delightful experience. The smooth coconut broth was packed with fresh vegetables and tofu, with a perfect balance of spice and flavor. It’s a flavorful and fragrant vegetarian option that hits all the right notes.
For vegetarians seeking authentic Thai cuisine, Bai Tong Thai offers thoughtfully prepared dishes with plenty of delicious, meat-free options. Highly recommended!
Tasty food, fresh vegetables, reasonable prices. My in-laws lived in Thailand for several years and this is one of the few Thai restaurants that they are actively enthusiastic about
Amazing Thai food, highly recommend
It was very nice as always!.
Love the crispy garlic chicken and pad ki mao. This is our go to place and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and prompt.
Bai Tong never disappoints.
It's a great Thai restaurant.
I used to be a regular customer here for a year and food was good until my last 5 visits.
The Curries that are supposed to be thick are super watery and I have consistently observed this. Rice is not included even when the cost for the curry is $18. One scoop of Rice costs brutal $4 which is not enough for the curry so one ends up asking for more rice. They charge $4 again for another rice order.
So basically a single dish of watery tasteless curry adds up to $29 including tax and then add a tip on top of that.
Worst food, even if one gets it for free.
Bai Tong is my mom’s favorite place to have Thai food!!
The best Thai food. Get the Panang curry. The Tom Kha soup is amazing as are the crab wontons. Service is relatively quick. My only complaint is that you don't get a knife unless you ask for one because, in Thai custom, the food is supposed to be cut into manageable pieces in the kitchen. However, this restaurant never cuts the food small enough, into bite sizes. Instead the food comes in mostly 3 bite sizes, which is awkward. Either provide a knife or cut the food small enough.
Pad Thai was a disaster and very sweet and burnt they refused to adjust the bill. I have been to numerous Thai places in US and this is the only place where you need to order and pay for curry and rice separately.
I got the pineapple fried rice and my friend got pad thai and the pad thai was pretty decent here but the pineapple fried rice I feel like lacked a lot of seasoning and flavor. The portion was pretty large though, so that is a plus, but the food itself wasn't as expected. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just wasn't what I was expecting since it was very busy at the time. We waited around 25 minutes to eat and the service was good here!
Esta muy rica la comida me gusto muchísimo
Good location, good service and ambience!!!
Highly recommend drunken noodles and sake!!!
Bai Tong Thai is an excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and there are so many options. There are many fancy cocktails to accompany your delicious meal. The beautiful art inside and out enhances the magical atmosphere. My kids love eating at Bai Tong too!
Awesome food as always! Never disappoints. The service is excellent and atmosphere is very soothing. We would highly recommend.
Love the cocktails and food!
Excellent service!
Had roast duck curry, pad see ew, satay and fresh rolls. All came out fast and extremely tasty. Service was 11/10. My go to Thai place in redmond
We love Bai Tong, excellent food and they are great with vegetarian options. They even did a special vegetarian kao soi for me! Everyone is really nice and they are very accommodating of kids, my toddler loved ordering from the kids menu.
一般
We always have great food when we go there. We have small kids and they are always accommodating. Never have had a bad experience
