I finally got to try the food here, and have been back 3 times since. There is a restaurant in another part of the country that I hold dear and judge all Thai food against. Well, now THIS will be that place. When I first walked in, I had the biggest smile because of the feeling this restaurant gives you. The food, kept the smile on my face. Incredible. Fresh, bright flavors in all the dishes I have tried. This restaurant has a big menu, bug they don’t spread themselves thin like some places do when the menu grows. Some of the classic dishes have a small twist on the recipe that puts it over the top! I have been when it’s busy and when it’s not, and never had to wait long. Honestly, I wouldn’t care if I did. I’ll be back, again…and again…
Wow!! This is the BEST Thai restaurant I have ever been to!! My partner and I are always on the search for local restaurants that are amazing. This is definitely our number 1!! The outside atmosphere is very cute and comfortable - great for a group of friends or family to get together. There’s fun music playing in the background and cute comfy seating areas. The service was prompt and the server was super kind! My partner and I both ordered chicken pad thai (4 star) and it was phenomenal. The best I have ever had on the planet!! Tasted super authentic and was still very spicy. We also got a thai tea and a singha beer. The thai tea was amazing!! So much flavor, and also the best I’ve ever had. My partner said the beer was super unique and worth a try. We would recommend this place, 10/10, and will be coming back when we visit.
Our dining experience at Thai Waterside was absolutely delightful! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance. The Thai cuisine served here is a true culinary gem, bursting with authentic flavors and vibrant spices. Each dish was beautifully presented and impeccably prepared, showcasing the skill and dedication of the chefs. The menu offers a wide variety of options to suit every palate, from classic favorites to innovative creations. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Thai Waterside is a must-visit destination. We left feeling fully satisfied and already planning our next visit!
After a short hike at the nearby Japanese Gulch trail, I got a little hungry. I have passed by this place many times and decided to stop in. Best decision! I was there at an odd time, so I had a run of the place. It is a house converted to a restaurant, and I settled on a cute table on their porch with a view of the garden. I always order pad thai and papaya salad when at a new place. If they can't make that, then I don't go back. I will be going back! Delicious food and reasonably priced. Friendly service and plenty of street parking.
Can't imagine we can find high quality and authentic Thai in a cozy, lovely cottage. We came here twice and all their food keeps the standard. There's only one chef and one serving staff, but food comes out quick n hot. They will also serve tables at the front yard in summer.
We like their creative match of seabass with avocado & green curry so much, the sauce enhanced the favour of fish. They provide good quantities of veggie in most dish. This make us feel "less guilty" after big meal.
This cute little Thai spot was beautifully curated, giving cozy vibes. We were greeted nicely.
We ordered:
Fruit fresh rolls
Ginger beef but they served us chicken
Pad Thai chicken
Unfortunately we asked for extremely spicy, none of it was spicy. The chicken in our ginger dish was rubbery and inedible. They were kind enough to take it off our bill.
If you have a Thai spot you like stuck with that one. Probably won’t visit again!
The best Thai food! Delicious and such a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Tolles Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen. Schneller Service. Auf dem Balkon und Garten schön zum Sitzen.

A very nice park with a Puget Sound view.
Great food and lovely restaurant
We are so happy to come here at our local restaurant

Do not sleep on the fruit rolls
Amazing food and staff!

Found this place returning from Whidbey Island. What a great find! The house/setting is in an older home and is adorable with inside and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food fresh and flavorful. With a good vegan menu as well
Bottom line, we will be back!
Best small owned restaurant at the water.
Ivars does not compare.
Delectable Thai food, in a quaint little setting
tiệm xinh quá. không khí rất chill. phục vụ dễ thương nữa. đồ ăn ngon nhưng mà ngọt.

Having such a great time at this beautiful cute cottage restaurant, we love their pork rib pineapple 🍍 which is so savory and biggggg cram phad thai! Soooo tasty! We ended our meal and that croissant 🥐 ice cream and mango once cream sticky rice! Everything we ordered were excellent! Gotta need to come back pretty soon 🔜 💕
Waterside Thai in Mukilteo is the absolute best! Everything from the venue being adorable with lights strung up everywhere and every dish they make is of the utmost best quality. Presentation is always beautiful as well. The service is fantastic with such friendly and accommodating staff. My gf and I have been hooked on this place for the past couple of years now and I am sorry it took us so long to write a review. You all deserve more than an 5 star review. Seriously. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful place to enjoy wonderful food in such a cute place! Valentine’s Day was made special thanks to Waterside Thai and the staff. I will forever recommend your restaurant to everyone, forever, just please don’t go anywhere. See you soon 😊
Favorite Thai place by far! I bring all my friends here. They are so kind and the food is absolutely fantastic!

Very small converted house that makes delicious fresh Thai food
I ordered the vegan pad kee mao. It was absolutely delicious. The spice levels were very good and the dish was very flavourful. A huge shout out to whoever, did the interior and exterior decor as well. It is such a cute and cozy spot. I will recommend it 10/10. Loved the place, food and service.
Thai Waterside is insanely cute! The bright colors and outdoor seating bring a sense of sunshine to the dining experience. The food is wonderful, too, and I appreciated the amount of vegetables that were included with our vegetarian dishes. However, takeout was somewhat disappointing because the fresh rolls were each individually wrapped in plastic. Still overall happy to have found this vibrant Thai option right in Mukilteo!
Kind, quick service. Good direction if eating outside. I had Thai Rama. Perfectly seasoned tender chicken, sautéed onion on a bed of fresh baby spinach. Lightly steamed carrots and bright broccoli on the side. My picture is what I’m taking home after eating my fill. My husband had Waterside Fried Rice on a bed of baby greens. Perfectly prepared shrimp and crab. Peas and carrots again seasoned to make it difficult to leave anything on the plate. We will be back!
The decor is lovely. We felt very welcome and comfortable in the beautiful cozy cottage this restaurant is in. The staff was friendly, nothing to complain about.
I wish I could say something good about the food... We ordered the (highly recommended on the menu) braised pork leg, the (also recommended) sea bass green curry and a few other dishes. All the food was *extremely* sweet and salty. Thai food, especially the cheaper variety, tends to be oversweetened but this was just outrageous. I couldn't discern any other flavors, it felt like eating salted sugar cane.
The other reviews praise the food. Maybe they switched the chef, or the chef had a bad day today. But today, it was one star for the food. We barely touched it.
We had such a great time here! Beautiful garden atmosphere and very friendly, genuine service from all of the staff. My friend loved his prawn Pad Thai, and my red curry was on point! The veggies tasted very fresh. Easily one of the best Thai iced teas I've ever had. They offer sticky rice with mangos, too. I've got to come back for that!
I would give this lovely place more stars if I could!
Delicious Crab Paad Thai special and appetizer sampler was served quickly and hot. Plenty for dinner for 2. Patio seating available, but we chose a cozy table inside.
Great vegan options and the food never disappoints. The mango sticky rice dessert is the best during mango season! Quintessential place for family dinners!
One of my favorite places to go. Food is always good and customer service is great.
45min wait after arriving to pickup. Food was very salty and beef had a fish flavor. We pretty much just ate what was edible and threw the rest. Spring rolls were good 👍
Best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time. Great atmosphere with an outdoor seating area that allows your dogs to come with you as well. Highly recommend this place and I’ll be coming here often now.
One of the most authentic and best Thai restaurants we have been too! The green curry was amazing! Will definitely be back!
I cannot say enough good things about Thai Waterside. Usually we have take out and it’s 100% fabulous. Tonight we ate in and got to sit outside. It was wonderful! You get to order then eat outdoors. The pace is perfect and the food is out of this world. At our table of 4 we each had different entrees (stellar), an app of the fresh fruit rolls (who doesn’t love mango?!), and also the dessert — mango rice and ice cream (STELLAR! You’ve got to order it!) I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food and I’ll say this. Thai Waterside food is not Americanish. It’s fresh. It’s super flavorful and complex. The owner is attentive, kind, a master at service and flavor. What a gift this restaurant is to Mukilteo! You’ve gotta go — you’re gonna love it.
Can't imagine we can find high quality and authentic Thai in a cozy, lovely cottage. We came here twice and all their food keeps the standard. There's only one chef and one serving staff, but food comes out quick n hot. They will also serve tables at the front yard in summer.

Delicious dinner tonight! We normally get take out from here but tonight we were celebrating my sisters birthday and decided to dine there. It’s adorable inside and the people are wonderful. We had the green curry, coconut prawns, green papaya salad with prawns, and chicken pad Thai…all were so fresh & delicious with beautifully presentation.
Delicious!
Really good food! I love thai food and this is some of the best I've had.
Thai Waterside always pleases. Their food is authentic, & so very delicious. Amazing flavors. A must go to for the best Thai food around.
The curry was the best I have ever had. So much flavor. They put a lot of love in the food they prepare. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for some really tasty food 😋
The food was delicious, we went at a really laid back time of day (Sunday) and we were all by ourselves, it was great! The Tiger Cry was really good but not spicy enough for my boyfriend, if you like spicy I would suggest getting a 5 (range from 1-5) when I tried his Tiger Cry at a 3 it was what I was expecting my Pad See Ew at a 1 to be. So great news if you don't like spicy at all. I'd really been craving Chicken satay and it really hit the spot, so good. I forgot to take a picture of the Pad See Ew and the Crispy Duck.
I have loved every dish I have tried. I personally love dishes with wide noodles, and Thai Waterside does not disappoint. I am also very pleased with the ability to choose my spicy level...I usually love spicy, but since my pregnancy, I stick to light spices, and they're pretty accurate. Dining in is a lovely experience. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Take out is also a breeze. My orders have always been accurate and packaged great for the drive home. I've been dining at Thai Waterside Cuisine for the last 4 years and have always had great experiences and delicious meals.
This is definitely the best Thai food in all of Mukilteo, but while the flavors might remind you of Thailand, the prices might remind you more of Manhattan. This is not a cheap Thai restaurant. They don't have a view and their restaurant looks like it was converted from an old house. It isn't on the "waterside" and there isn't a view if you were wondering.
Overall, this place is ok. But considering the lack of quality restaurants in Mukilteo, this is probably one of the best... But it isn't great by any means.
Lovely food, great selection.
We enjoyed an early dinner here on the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Everything was really delicious! We had the red curry, a pad Thai and I forget the name of the third dish, but all were enjoyed.
We also had the fried ice cream for dessert for the adults and a simple mago scoop for the little one, which wasn't on the menu, so we were grateful that our little one got to enjoy something simple.
Some of the best food I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Service was amazing,
We did restaurant week and got everything.
Nice.
This little place is hidden on the hill among other "quaint" shops, but it deserves a major spotlight!
We were there on a weekday evening when there was only one other table and the sun was going down. The two of us love Thai food so decided to give this place a shot, a small restaurant in an old converted house on a hill overlooking where Mukilteo meets the sea. We sat at a table on the front lawn and experienced nirvana. I am now an elightened being and my wife has reached another plane of existence. Could it be that the experience was heightened by the absence of our dear children (whom with we've spent ever waking second of the past two and a half years)? Possibly... But that doesn't change the fact that each and every bite was OMG.
Thai Waterside Cuisine should be experienced, especially if you like Thai food, or seafood, or just restaurants in general. We will be back! And if the first experience is any indication, we will be back again and again and again...!
The best Thai food outside of Thailand .
A cute spot that we drove quite a way to try after spotting it months prior. Service was slow and it seemed like there was more focus on take-out orders. The lady who took our order seemed impatient and irritated by my taking ten seconds extra to decide on my entrée. The food for my family came in bits, and my entrée got completely forgotten. No apologies made, no explanation given.
Something to be said about the inherent charm of a classic old home, turned place of gathering. If you're lucky enough to catch a table in the yard on a sunny evening -you're in for a treat. Not only is the food at least as good, if not better, than the best Thai around... but the owners/staff are gracious, kind, and unbelievably fast. A Singha, plate of satay chicken, and some truly authentic and delicious Panang, and you are transported to the Southeast of Asia. It's hard to visit a place like this, run by hard working folks, sharing simple yet beautiful cuisine, and not feel awash with gratitude or a sense of luck.
Thank you Thai Waterside Cuisine.
We always order from their vegan menu and everything is delicious 😋
The pad thai and pad see ew were ok, but had a very strong molasses flavor that was confusing. The potstickers were also ok. I would maybe try something else here, the inside is cute and the people there were nice.
Really delicious food along with friendly& kind staff makes this place my go-to spot every time we visit Mukilteo waterfront.
Yummy array of menu items to tease your culinary delight.
This place is a little gem! I love Khao Soi (Chiang Mai Noodle) and they do a good one here. Cute atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely walk across the boat for a date night here again!
Wow, first time in here and we loved it!! Boom, great job and so nice to meet you. We had 3 wonderful entres and all very tasty and nice size portions.
Good drink list and interior is so cute, very charming.
We will be back!
Eating out is a special treat for is, so the food has to be great. Thai Waterside Cuisine is a reliable treat, and we have always had a great experience here. The order is always ready on time, the food is superb quality, the menu changes and offers new items to try, and the service is always friendly and accommodating. If you are on the area and looking for some great Thai food, Thai Waterside is highly recommended. Enjoy!
First and last time here. We waited 1hr and a half after we ordered our food. The owner would not discount our bill. No apology. It wasn't worth the wait.
Very good food and value. I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars but this one deserves it. The food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. This restaurant should be packed every evening 🙂
This place is a gem. The restaurant is located un an old house. The owners have kept all of the charms of the old house to provide a very comfortable dining area. I'm sure which was once a part of the old living room and dining room areas. For outside dinning there are tables placed in the front yard. The hosts were gracious and very friendly. The food was great we had the Pad Thai and the Pad-Kah, the garlic sauce was amazing.
Over priced, takes forever, been here several times throughout the years and it's always the same, over priced and basic. They even charge for rice on a 25 dollar entre....
Craving Thai food on our way back from Whidbey Island. This place is so conveniently located off the ferry.
Additionally they have outdoor seating which accommodated our furbabies. We got chicken fried rice, pad see ew with tofu and hor muk (seafood Panang curry). We got level 3 but probably could have handled 5.
Food was tasty, not the best Thai food I have ever had but tasty. Service was very attentive. Three dishes plus hubby's beer set us back $51 before tip. Always tip well especially as we get out of pandemic. Support local POC businesses too.
Wonderful service and delicious food! We elected to eat outside in the honey garden area. The fried tofu was very tasty! Would come again.
Massaman curry and pad thai were very good! My wife said the spicy eggplant was good, I don't like eggplant, so I'll take her word for it.
Ordered to pick up, and it was ready to go, contactless pickup.
Looks like a really cool place, they have a nice setup, will have to check it out after pandemic times.
Great food, great atmosphere!
Food was really good and decent price
Excellent Thai food. My husband lived his pineapple boat entree.
Enjoyed. The calimari was a bit chewy, but other than that everything was quite good.
This place is amazing! Great ambiance and the food is the best in the area! My new favorite Thai restaurant by a long shot. Service was fantastic and again, the food is very impressive! Will definitely revisit this place very soon!
Great service. Feel like home. The sample is loved by our kids.
Fantastic Thai food - authentic flavors and very kind staff
Great restaurant, where tiny is not telling you the quality of the food and service. Lovely and tasteful food, presented as it should be! Go there and be surprised!
Soooo bummed that Ambrosia Thai is gone. I loved that place. Now it's more pan Asian...the food is okay but portions are small and pricy... Atmosphere is the same..quaint and quiet
Nice, quaint place.
Best thai in the area, actually best food in the area. Their portions are a bit smaller than other thai restaurants nearby but their food is clearly made fresh with high quality ingredients (unlike another local thai place that brings you food so quickly its impossible they arent microwaving it). The owner is very friendly. The proces are pretry averagr for what you pay for thai, if the food wasnt amazing I would knock off a star for the portions, but as it is, the food is just clearly a level above the rest.
What a great surprise! High quality Thai cuisine elegantly presented in a cozy inviting environment. We walked on the ferry from Whidbey Island and then walked for just a couple minutes up the hill. Will definitely be back!
Quiet, intimate, and laid back. This restaurant is a house converted into a restaurant and really makes for a cozy atmosphere! Food is great and the service is decent.
Their fruit salad was good, fried rice good... but their phad see ew and pad Thai was not good. Thai Rama is way better. To sting of flavor and salty.
Thai Waterside is so unique- it's in what could be a home and feels like it should be an English tea house! It's so cozy. The outdoor area is cute and fun on a nice day.
The food is amazing, and the presentation is stunning as well. I'm a huge fan of their phad thai! It's not sweet like many places make it out to be- it is ketchup free, hallelujah! The waterside appetizer medley is WONDERFUL, especially that wonton wrapped shrimp. I don't know what they do to their dipping sauces but they are better than any other place I've been to. I just love that their menu has their own twist on staples but that they are so delicious.
Boom is one of the chefs/servers and has always been so kind! Thai Waterside is definitely a gem in this town! Good people, good food, what more do you need?
My husband loved it more than I did but only because I'm a stickler for Thai curry not being too sweet. Chicken Larb was refreshing as a pseudo-keto salad, just a little sour. Green chicken curry was luscious, though, even if a tad sweet. Spring rolls arrived piping hot. But I miss the ones back home in Hawaii at Mekong's/Keo's, where they wrap filling & deep-fry in rice paper. Quite a few people came for takeout. The restaurant is inside a house overlooking Mukilteo ferries.
Excellent food and service. Good ambiance!
Seafood Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice were superb!
Best Thai food in Mukilteo! The braised pork and tumeric chicken are incredible. I would go out of my way for those two dishes, and I do. Everything else I've had has been excellent too. 😊
Thai Waterside Cuisine is a cute little converted house with a lovely garden. We had a very diverse party, vegetarians, meat eaters, gluten-free. Everybody found something delicious. The food is carefully prepared and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Really delicious food & friendly service in a cute, homey atmosphere. Cute outdoor seating for sunny days, too!
Good Food! Interesting decor for Thai, could be set down smack in the middle of Snohomish. I had a curry dish with chicken and my friend had the braised pork on the lunch menu. Both dishes were very tasty with excellent spicing.
This place is delicious, I love the pad thai. Service is excellent and the servers are really friendly. I will always choose this place if I want Thai !
Best Thai food around! Spring rolls and chicken pad thai are always the go to favorites.
The food was great. The service was seriously lacking partly because of a language barrier.
Good Thai food
Some of the best Thai food I've had in the area.😀
Don’t be fooled from the outside. For our first time here, the food we ordered were amazing. My son who is a picky eater even asked to come back again. He love their Thai fried rice, also had phad thai which is very tasty. I love the place, a house turned into a restaurant. We will try other dishes too next time I hope it will not disappoint us for our next visit.
Quaint little place in a renovated house. Food and service were really good. Wine list limited to affordable varieties bit still adequate. We had 2 appetizers, 3 different curries and 2 sticky rice desserts - all good. Star ratings ran on the low side, with all of us ordering 4/5 and could have gone higher.
Family style on a whole other level! My favorite today was the northern Thai sausage with fresh ginger.
Always a great dining experience .
So impressed with this place and the freshness of their ingredients!
You know how most Thai places in the US start to seem more or less the same minus a few details? This place is on a whole other level!
The dishes might be a little smaller but that is more than made up for by the cooking and quality of ingredients. The service is top notch too. Such nice staff!
Please go and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed!
Excellent food & service.
Just discovered this. Arguably some of the best tasting Thai I've had.
This place has amazing food. From their Tom Yum soup to fantastic yellow curries and traditional pad Thai, everything we had was outstanding! Try the pineapple rice too!
Fantastic food and cozy place.
I enjoyed our quick meal. I want to return and try other authentic thai dishes that I've never seen other places.
A very cute little restaurant!! Great atmosphere and food. Even impressed with the presentation of a simple drink like mango juice!
This place is really great. I love coming down here.
Fantastic food and excellent service! You can tell they put great care and effort into each dish. We'll definitely be back!
We love waterside Thai Mukilteo! Great food and service!!!
First visit with my friend for dinner this evening and found this new place - the food was incredible, service excellent --- will definitely be back for more of this Wonderful Thai food very soon!
