Best Thai food in Crozet Charlottesville VA
I have seen this place many times while shopping at the grocery store next door. And although not my favorite type of cuisine, I love me some fried rice. So we stopped in to grab an order of the basil fried rice. It's listed as the most spicy fried rice, and it does build up a good amount of heat while still being delicious! The portion is decent for the price. And was freshly cooked. We called in this order, and the waitress was as nice in person as on the phone. The inside was clean, there was plenty of seating, and it looked like a good place to sit and have a meal. I'm definitely going back to try some more dishes on the menu or just get some spicy fried rice. Give them a try!
My friends and I were visiting Shenandoah from Texas and ran into this amazing Thai place. The owner is really sweet and the food is amazing! Highly recommend the Drunken Noodles & Basil Fried Rice!
I felt the need to leave a review after having tried all of the Asian cuisine Crozet has to offer (sans coconut thai). My family and I had all but given up hope of finding somewhere within the confines of Crozet to get decent chinese/japenese/Thai food... but tonight we ordered from here. I ordered the Arkahanay noodle and she ordered pad peanut with tofu (she's vegetarian) and we were both blown away by the quality, especially when compared to what else is around. Save yourself the heartache and dissapointment that other places will serve you and order from here.
I used to love this place.. I ordered my usual pad Thai but found it too spicy so I called to explain the situation and went to pick up the replacement entree. I thought they were reasonable about the situation until I found **multiple HAIRS in the replacement meal that was otherwise normal. Extremely disappointed in a place we used to frequent.
We order from this place once a week. The pad see ew, pad woon sen with shrimp, and sweet and sour with fried tofu are all amazing. Yesterday, they were closed so we briefly considered ordering Thai from somewhere else but decided to wait until love2eat was open again. Can’t say enough good things.
The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Today, I ordered the special Crispy Duck Basil with a spice level of 3 stars and Orange Chicken with no spice. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 5, which is great for those who don’t eat spicy food. You can also let the staff know whether you want your dish spicy or not. I’m really impressed and highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant!

Amazing food and great prices. Food comes out fast and is very flavorful.

Love the food prices portions and price and have good service too.
Disappointing.
Pad Thai was missing ingredients (bean sprouts, peanuts). Seasoning was too spicy when ordered as mild for children. Noodles were gummy and tofu overcooked.
Awesome. Stop trying to make a decision of where to eat and just go here. Delicious food. Very kind, accomodating staff. Low price. I look forward to returning!
More of a carry out kind of place.
These folks are extremely accommodating. I have dietary restrictions, and she made sure that my meal met my needs. They also made a special appetizer for me.
The fried rice is back to its delicious flavor. Not sure what happened to L2E from Christmas to now, but the problems have been resolved and the food is back to being top notch. Thanks for fixing whatever was clearly wrong!!!
Amazing flavor and perfect portions. Wish I lived here so I could come back often!
The food here is amazing! Everything I've had from here has been great and I would suggest stopping here if you are in the area and looking for some good Thai food!
my third time eating here amazing food way way better than coconut thai and well worth the drive if your from cville
Not nearly as good as other options in Crozet.
Best food I’ve ever had and service is amazing definitely will be back👍🏻
Food has amazing flavor and they really care about there customers. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Great food and quick service.
Very good Thai food.
Food was tasty but the menu changed and they stopped serving fresh spring rolls a Thai tradition. May not go back.
Good food, excellent service. Recommend.
Great food and staff was extremely nice. Coconut soup is outstanding. Highly recommend.
The food was mostly mediocre, but the place has a nice atmosphere. The Penang curry, bang bang shrimp, and pad Thai were not that good. The mango curry was pretty good though
It's a bit pricey but the taste and portion were not up to the mark. It's in a convenient location in crozet.
Very average, not big on decor. Meal was just ok. Little pricey to do lunch. IMO
Drove 30 mins to eat here. When we arrive we see "Break Time" on the door 2:30 - 4:00. Please see their website and not google for the hours. This was on a Wednesday.
Love their curry and fried rice!
Great
I'm a travel nurse living closeby and I love this place! I live off of their delicious Thai food and I love to drink their Thai tea and Thai coffee before night shifts. The Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai are my favorite. They also have great curries.
By far the best thai food I've had in Virginia! Everything was super delicious, the entrees all came with a soup and tasty fried dumplings and those were just as delicious as the rest of the food! Will definitely stop here everytime we pass through the area.
Good food
The vegetable dumplings are great! It's a great Thai spot that is close by.
Great service with great tasting cuisine.
Great service, many choices, good prices, delicious food! Highly recommend.
So GOOD! I love the Ginger Perfect with Chicken. Their soup and spring rolls that you get with the lunch special are so good! The soup is so simple yet delicious and I crave it all the time!
The food looks lovely but tastes awful. They put so much sugar in EVERYTHING! YUCK! The Won Ton soup....sweet, the dumplings....super sweet. And they are very unfriendly as well.
Amazing, fast service and fantastic food. Ordered the Pad Thai with 2 spicy and was extremely pleased. Definitely didn't know this place was here but extremely happy to have stumbled upon it. I highly recommend if you are in the area looking for Thai food!
Consistently good and quick food. I've never called in an order that wasn't ready to pick up in 15 minutes. Good portion sizes for the price. The bikini shrimp app is great
Great Thai food and selection!
Don't fall for the delivery time for the food. They'll increase it by an entire hr and a half. My food has never arrived from both the times I've placed $80 orders from this establishment. Waste of time and energy.
Pricey. But good food. Beware of price magically changing every time you order. A receipt is always handy, however some receipts are sketchy and old school and don't list what you bought. Curious. Also, make sure to order a minimum of 15 minutes before closing if you want to get some food. That being said, um...what exactly IS the closing time....??
Enjoyed this restaurant...I had the Panay curry with Tofu and my wife enjoyed Pad peanut sauce with chicken. Some of the best Thai food I have had. Very excellent food and service and would recommend anyone give this restaurant a try!
Great food! However, I do wish the to-go boxes weren’t styrofoam. It seemed as if some of the styrofoam may have melted into the food. Some bites tasted a bit different.
Ate here for the first time tonight and enjoyed everything. My only complaint is that I cannot find any kind of allergen menu and no notation as to what was gluten free or not, so I took a chance and am crossing my fingers I don’t regret it later!
Very disappointed in the quality of food
Love this local restaurant. Always great food in a timely manner and appreciate that they are consistently open. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love, love, LOVE their Panang curry! Very reasonable prices and fast service! We’ll be back 😊
I had gotten the Bangkok combo, Arkahnay noodles and the appetizer sampler.
First off, the appetizer sampler was perfectly fried and came with a variety of apps. When paired with the dipping sauces, the flavors were amazing.
The Bangkok combo was just your average run of a brown sauce stir fried dish. Veggies were not overcooked, however the chicken may have spent too much time in the heat.
Lastly my favorite out of all the dishes I got was the arkahnay noodles. I got medium spicy and it was the perfect spice level. The noodles had just enough bite to them and was not over cooked. The proteins in the dish were cooked perfectly. Overall the flavor of the dish had me wanting more.
10/10 would recommend trying this place if you're local or visiting Crozet!
Best Thai? No. Good Thai? Yes.
Great
We eat here 4 or 5 times a month. It’s so nice having Thai food right in the neighborhood. Our fav dishes: Love Duck Curry, Crispy Flounder with chili garlic sauce, Bangkok combo, pineapple fried rice, and Siam Beef. The Tom Yum soup is super tasty, and we love the egg rolls. They have a summer corn salad that’s to die for—but it’s a seasonal special. They always have different specials each season.
We ordered takeout for 5 people on Christmas Eve. Food was just OK, portions were small we thought. Only one portion of rice for 4 dishes. The soup was nothing to go back for. Pho was OK--besides Pad Thai perhaps the best thing on the menu. Not a very good choice Christmas Eve we guess. Might try eating in.
Very good food 👌 but not the same for employees
Delicious food, friendly service! We'll be back!
We have eaten here several times. Food has been going downhill since business changed hands. An older lady behind front counter “served” us. I asked a question about the level of spice and she ended up literally YELLING at me. She did not even answer my question. My husband got the Tom Yum soup which smelled and tasted so bad he returned it but we were still charged. Very average entrees and very expensive. So Sad, we love Thai food. Never again here.
Wife got all her food before I got to start mine. Good food, not much variety except coffee apps.
Service was mediocre. I ordered duck and it was so fatty I couldn't eat it. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The other food was very good.
It's a decent Thai place. The menu could could be bigger though.
Fresh authentic food!!
Delicious good food but no lunch menu
We love this place. The food is scrumptious, quick and the service if you stay to eat is so friendly. We've also had great experiences ordering online.
Best Thai around, awesome presentation!
This place was great! The food was prompt and delicious, and there was light traffic for a Friday.
Oh so good Thai dishes. Take out is busy. Would like to see a bit more decorations in the restaurant to give it personality. But that doesn't deter us from dining there. The hot Thai dishes will light you up! you've been warned.
Not bad
Delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back
The only Thai place in Crozet is surprisingly good. Seems to be run by native Thai people. The food is fresh and consistently delicious. Generally the service is fast and accurate. If you dine in you'll see a stead stream of people getting takeout. The space can accommodate small or large groups. Drink selection is Japanese and Thai beers. It's also a relaxed environment for families with young kids. I would consider it a bit of a hidden gem in Crozet and definitely worth a go.
Great place to eat. I've never ordered anything I didn't like and I've tried a lot of dishes. Great people pear and Boyd are amazing
Best Thai in Cville.
The food is okay. Our preference for Thai in the Charlottesville area is CHIMM, which just opened at 5th Street Station.
Excellent food and great service. I almost every week for lunch.
This place is truly a gem! The staff are amazing and so helpful! They truly go the extra mile for their customers! Excellent Thai food at reasonable prices in a convenient location! Highly recommend!
Great drunken noodles
Delish
Bangkok '99 has been around Crozet for quite a while, but have hardly heard much mention of it. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. The tofu and noodles were both fantastic, and the waiter was very kind. Highly recommend to local family and friends.
The food was delicious, and the right price. Surprisingly not too busy on a Friday night. This is a gem and we will be back for sure. There were lots of folks stopping by to pick up take-out orders, and the dining room is clean and friendly.
A really casual calm environment with great food and courteous service.
Good is excellent and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is also acceptable. Wait staff a bit lacking but could improve.
Great selection nice atmosphere.
We eat here frequently and it's always excellent!
Great service. Staff is super nice and always friendly. I get the Noodle Soup and Pork Fried rice that are always amazing.
Nice atmosphere. My Pad Thai was very good.
Delicious and fresh with a reasonably priced menu
Wonderful Thai food. Sticky rice with mango is excellent for dessert.
FANTASTIC food!!!!! My friend and I always go there to eat lunch. The people there are so nice and welcoming. The food is alway fast and delicious. All of their food options are so good and fresh!
A wonderful restaurant to have in our community of Crozet!! We love to take family and friends here - the restaurant never disappoints us and even grandchildren love the deliciously prepared Thai food!! The owner, Pat and her staff are all very welcoming - - - - and Pat's starter soup is fabulous - order it for take out and use it for dinner parties - - - people will think you are brilliant!!! :)
Love the food and that we are always welcomed like family. We don't eat out often, but when we do it's typically here.
Delicious, reasonably priced food with lots of vegetarian options. I really enjoyed the ability to customize the spice level for the entrees but be warned, the spice sneaks up on you and the levels are accurate. At the 'hot' spice level my boyfriend and I had to take breaks because our mouths were burning, but the food was so good we both ended up finishing our plates (the portion sizes were large as well). I kept the extra hot spice blend they provided with the take-out order for my own cooking it was that good. Despite the unassuming location across from a Harris Teeter, this place was everything I wanted from Thai take-out. I will certainly return when I'm in the area.
Fantastic food
