Honestly one of the best Thai food places I've tried, even as a vegetarian. I got their fried tofu, fresh tofu rolls, and the yellow curry. The waiters and servers were the best part of this experience - super attentive, friendly and sweet. Their flavors are completely on point and authentic and their ingredients are so fresh. We even went on Christmas since we were just visiting SLC and they were so amazing and festive. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Amazing service! My wife has celiac (100% gluten free) and they were rated well so we came to grab takeout. They were very conscious on celiac precautions! A big party came in just before us so the owner gave us complimentary thai iced teas while we waited. Great start to a Utah ski trip!

My wife and I got food from here through Doordash tonight. We got Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Both were super bland. No flavor whatsoever. It was also 18 dollars per dish as well. This place is not good for the price you pay. We definitely will not order from here again.

Sign says 2024 winner of most authentic Thai food and I believe. I've been to Thailand and I enjoyed the food here more. The pad Thai and drunken noodles are strongly recommended. It's in a little strip mall, only 3 businesses but super clean and homey atmosphere.

Aroon Thai is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Utah! Every dish is packed with authentic flavors, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai and red curry are must-tries, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Their Thai tea is the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. It’s the perfect complement to the meal.

I have tried most of the popular Thai restaurants throughout the valley, and to me, Aroon is far and away the best. The execution and depth of flavor in each dish is unmatched. The owner and all of the staff are super friendly and make you feel like family. The vibe inside the restaurant is warm and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough — if you’re anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley and feeling like Thai food, Aroon is the place!

I ordered through the phone and the person who took my order was the nicest and most polite person to ever take an order in history. To top that off, the food is super delicious and have generous servings! Definitely authentic Thai! Such a precious gem to find outside downtown SLC. I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience in this restaurant does not match the high ratings. We arrived in the group of four, I ordered the noodle soup and we shared the papaya salad, the coconut chicken and some other appetizers. The taste was ok, but when we left, my friends started feeling uncomfortable, and I too felt a bit stomachache. Later I heard that one of my friends suffered heartburn. We are mostly healthy and came here for the vacation. Would not come again and do not recommend it.

The carb in pad Thai is extremely intense I had severe gas issue and heart burn that almost ended up in emergency care after having dinner here, I regularly eat Asian food never had issue before.

The food was delicious- I will say we order level 4 spicy - Thai spicy and it was not very spicy had to ask for chili oil on the side however easy fix. The food was delicious! The flavor was layered and harmonious, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness to round it out.

What truly set it apart was the sheer abundance of ingredients in the soup. Every spoonful was packed with goodness—plump shrimp, tender mushrooms, tomatoes, lemongrass, and fresh herbs that made every bite a delight. You could tell everything was fresh and prepared with care.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people can rate a restaurant with 5 stars everywhere producing a rating of 4.9 out of 5, just to find another mediocre restaurant. The food we ordered for takeout - 3 main courses, one a gold standard (green curry) along with two small plates, were mediocre to tasteless or even just flat out barely edible. The pot stickers were clearly reheated and old. The other dishes were all fairly tasteless yet managed to leave a pretty bad taste in the mouth after eating. Don't waste your time or money. We won't again.

This is the BEST THAI food! It’s such a cute hidden gem. The Khao soi here was so close in taste to the one I had in Chang Mai. Definitely worth coming to visit. Will be back soon!!

My husband and I started eating here shortly after they opened three years ago. Ever since it has been out go to date night spot. Whenever I have friends and family come into town we take them here and it’s always a hit. Everything on the menu is good and there are gluten free and vegan options for any dietary needs. Highly recommend.

We got the chicken satay appetizer and two red curry bowls with chicken. The value for the food is unmatched. Usually I pay $18.95 for a bowl of chicken red curry anywhere else. The food was amazing! I ordered to go practically as soon as I landed at SLC, based purely on reviews and I was not disappointed. The Tom kha was flavorful, just the right amount of spicy and perfect for the cooler weather. The summer rolls are some of the best I’ve had and the peanut sauce was excellent.

The two times I've been here have both beem phenomenal! the lunch special is a great way to try several of their delicious dishes. I have tried their Green Curry, Pad Ka Pow chicken, and Panang Curry. Each were delicious in their own way. The staff are very respectful and knowledgeable and can make great recommendations based on what you know you like. If you're in the area I would highly recommend you give this place a try!

I purchased one of their lunch specials. I arrived a few minutes before my food was ready. It was early in the 11 am hour and the hostess asked me if I would like to sit down and have a glass of water. (They had just opened and I was the only customer.) She was smiley, exceptionally polite and accommodating. It was a refreshing experience. I don't remember what I got, but I remember it was a relatively generous amount (almost enough for 2) for the price and delicious. I will be back.

We split a small Tom Yum soup, of which had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The potstickers had a perfect crunch. My main dish, Chicken Pad Thai had so much flavor and the added texture of peanuts and the extra bean sprouts on the side, were much appreciated! My boyfriend got the drunken noodles, of which they perfected. Flavorful and veggie packed.

Service was impeccable! The staff was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of.

This is one of my new go-to spots in SLC!

The staff here are very polite and helpful. They always check on you to make sure you don't need anything. The restaurant is super clean. Everything I have ordered here has been amazing and it's cooked authentic Thai style!! The Khao soi, pad see ew chicken or beef, and pad ga prow are our favorites!! Great quality, serving size, and delicious. Absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

Oh my goodness the food is awesome! The garlic chicken is flipping delicious, and the yellow curry is so wonderful! I came here with some coworkers and I'm glad I did because the food is amazing, the staff is so nice and helpful. They were always smiling and kind. I do wish it was a bigger place, but the inside feels like a cozy little house.

Food was outstanding and service was top notch. We ordered the larb gai, Kao soi, and mango sticky rice. It was so delicious and flavorful! The presentation was beautiful as well. The staff were so friendly and kind. So deserving of 5/5 stars! One of my favorite places in salt lake. Hard to come by places like this!

The service is the highlight. Server here is so polite. It reminds me the experience of traveling in Thailand. They are not only bringing good food here, but sharing the culture as well. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Positive, bright space. Friendly kind staff. The Fried Rice was baller, it came with a spicy housemade sauce that had amazing flavor. Wasn't heavy on the oil. So so good.

The food was amazing! I had the Massaman curry with medium spice and my wife had the panang curry with mild spice. We both loved our dishes. The spice on mine was perfect just on the edge of being too much for me. The staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Went here for lunch and everything was incredible. The lunch special is well worth the price since you get a curry and stir fry of your choice. The restaurant had good vibes all around. I would recommend this place if you are looking for some really good Thai food.

OMG…so good! I stopped in to get khao Soi Chicken. It did not disappoint! Creamy with just the right amount of spice. It hit the spot. I will definitely be back. They were also so very courteous!

This place is FANTASTIC! Rarely is something both the best and the least expensive. Their lunch specials are a great value and delicious! Peter, the server we had was amazing! Do yourself a favor.... Try this place!

PHENOMENAL! I have been here so many times. The staff greet you with the most joyful smiles, the food is phenomenal, and the spicy foods have ACTUAL spice. This place has exceeded my expectations, each and EVERY time.
