Maybe the best Thai place in the salt lake valley

Diner Review №2

This is a very good Thai restaurant the eggplant is great. The Penang is very good it's typically what I get.

Diner Review №3

Diner Review №4

As a spicy food fan, Chabaar surprised me with its intensity. I chose a spicy level two and felt it was perfect.

Diner Review №5

We've eaten pho all over the Sandy / Draper area and this is our favorite. It's just got the best flavor and something about it just feels better than others. They have a lot of tasty things on their menu, but we go for the best pho.

Thanks Chabaar for fixing my missing noodle problem so efficiently Jan 30th, it was super appreciated and you'll continue to be top pho in the Sandy area. <3

The curry pot pie is amazing! Drunken noodles were also excellent. Cute atmosphere, nice staff.

Diner Review №14

Food was wonderful as always. The service was extremely slow. Servers were inattentive and kept forgetting things we ordered.

Great recommendation from a friend!

My favorite Thai food in SLC.

Diner Review №19

The seats were caved in and overall looked very sad and bland. The worse kicker was when the waitress says we can’t have a spice level above a 2 because we couldn’t handle it then on top of it want to charge 2$ extra per spice level. So if you get a spice of 5 that’s 6$ extra to the plate. Last time I checked adding spice isn’t a premium ingredient, 6$ at any other restaurant can get me an appetizer or premium protein but for spice get out of here. So when I kindly asked to leave the, waitress got very upset and was questioning why we felt that way. After I explained she couldn’t understand how charging 2$ for a spice level isn’t thievery. Yeah never coming back, Thai spoon is 3 mins away and although it’s not a “restaurant” the food, service, and experience was wayyyyyyy better.

Diner Review №21

Always a pleasant experience here

Diner Review №22

Fantastic flavors! Fair prices! Try the sticky wings. Try the Pad Thai. Definitely try the Currys! Watch out fir the sidewalks on a cold night. They are slippery.

Diner Review №23

Enjoyed the food and chai tea, look forward to visiting again and having a more spicy dish.

Diner Review №24

The curry pot pies are incredible.

Diner Review №25

Love this place! The pumpkin curry is my tried and true. I like spicy but I don’t like to sweat, I get it a 1.5 and it’s perfect. Pho is delicious, and I love the spring rolls. Never left this place disappointed and always have leftovers!

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

Fantastic! Amazing tea list, service was great (shout out to Dennis!) and the food was ridiculously good. Plenty of veggie options which is super appreciated. Spice levels were hotter than anticipated for most of the group but had such great flavor, it was all worth it. Maybe just tread lightly if you’re cautious on spice. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №28

Honestly not sure why this isn’t rated 5/5. The food was some of the best Thai I’ve ever had, really good tea, and super quick service. Definitely going back.

Red curry was incredible, but also tried drunken noodles, green curry, pad Thai, and tofu cashew stir fry. All of them were amazing.

Diner Review №29

I like spicy food and usually order higher spice levels at most ethnic restaurants in Utah. However, using their scale of 1-7, a 2 is perfect for me. The server told us a 2 is about the same heat as biting into a raw Thai chili. They won't let you order higher than a 3 if it's your first time dining in, and your name must be on the books for being able to handle a 3 before you can order higher spice levels (and they are very clear that there are no refunds, and a $3 surcharge PER spice level if you order higher than 3). Our server said they want to keep true to the typical spice tolerance of a locals restaurant in Southeast Asia.

EDIT: I have built my spice tolerance quite a bit in the last two years and can handle a 2.5 and even a 3 if I'm in the mood to sweat.

Diner Review №30

Service was a little slow, but the food was all good and there are many offerings I would be interested in going back and trying several of them. They had some orange, coriander chocolate chip cookies at the register that were also fantastic.
I had a ginger soup that was very much like phở, but the broth is less "beefy" (was it a vegetable broth?) and has bits of ginger root in it, which I really liked. Most of the ginger fell to the bottom, so the broth tastes more strongly of ginger toward the end. I think that's better - you get a good taste of ginger at the end without getting overwhelmed by it early on.
I will happily return.

Diner Review №31

Green curry was good. Pad thai was overly sweet. Drunken noodles were good. They do offer soft and fried tofu, which I like. The server didn't come back to refill our drinks.

Diner Review №32

This is hands down THE best Thai restaurant in town. The som tam (papaya salad) was sooo good! All the food is delicious and authentic made by Thai people who know what they’re doing.

Diner Review №33

Cream cheese wontons are okay, can be better, I liked the ones from Pleiku more. Massaman was a bit salty, no napkins on the table, I had to walk in to get more. Sticky rice at the end was okayish too. Had better sticky rice at other Thai restaurants before. Service was okayish too. Don’t think I’ll visit again though :/p

Diner Review №34

The first time I ordered from here it was one of the best red Currys I have ever had. The second time was alright, the third time i was given less than a scoop of rice in my takeout container, the curry wasn't spicy like I had requested. Really disappointed.

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

I've been going to Chabaar for a long time, and I'm always pleasantly surprised with how absolutely delicious everything is! I love that they'll make almost anything on the menu vegan! The Vegan Pho with the ginger broth is my favorite! Also, they brew their own kombucha and it's amazing! 10/10 will always recommend!

Diner Review №37

Had an unfortunate first experience yesterday. I'll start by saying the food we ultimately received was delicious, and I hope to go back and have a better overall experience next time. However, I placed a pick up order 1.5 hours before scheduled pickup only to arrive and find out my order had been given to another customer. I had my toddler with me, and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to remake our large order. When I was handed the new food, the host mentioned that this would be better anyway because the food was fresh and my originally order had been made at the time i'd ordered it and had been sitting out as they'd overlooked the requested pick up time. 😬 I had tipped generously in advance despite it being pickup and regretted that. Better luck next time I hope.

Diner Review №38

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years food is delicious and good portions. However I ordered takeout a few days ago and went to pick it up not knowing they moved across the parking lot. Okay no problem it was close by, nothing has changed regarding the food it is still good, but the service is not so great. Girl who was at the counter when I picked up my order was rude.

Diner Review №39

Stood in the lobby a little too long for the amount of people that were in there. The food was fantastic exactly what I ordered no issues. The problem came when the bill came and I was charged two dollars for a spice level 3 which frankly should’ve been normal for the dish that I ordered. I’m fine with up charges, but when I discussed the spice levels with the server, he didn’t mention that there would be any additional charges. I will say, though that $17 for one lunch portion is probably a little bit more than I would be willing to spend to go back.

Diner Review №40

Good people good food recommend giving it a try

Diner Review №41

OWNERS SHOULD CHECK THEIR SERVERS!
Dine date (10/20/24) VERY DISAPPOINTED of our EXPERIENCE here. We just moved here in SLC and we've been wanting to try this restaurant since we're a huge fan of thai cuisine.Take note: Food is one thing when customers dine in at your restaurant: SERVICE is another big thing as well. It will AFFECT THE EXPERIENCE AS A WHOLE. Our server seems she doesn't want to help the customers that are people of "color", never checked on us even once, not until the end when we asked for a to go box and tried to order different desserts and she kept saying that desserts we would like get are "OUT" (what a coincidence everything is out)
She's been taking care of other tables very well but it comes to us, she will walked all the way around the corner just to avoid us. It felt like we're not welcome and she doesn't want us to order more and want us to leave right away. Mind you guys this is a sitting full dine in restaurant not a fastfood. Server in a fast service resto offers a better service. What a shame, food is good tho.

Diner Review №42

I LOVE love love this place! So many delicious menu items but I always come back to the curry pot pie. I keep bringing more people to introduce them because it's So good!

Diner Review №43

Diner Review №44

This reaturaunt used to be good, today it was terrible! We got the old standby, pad thai. Typically this is really good at this resturaunt. This time, totally average (which was very disappointing). I ordered Pineapple fried rice. It was a huge disappointment. I don't know how you make a dish and actually make the "star" of the dish taste worse than normal. The pineapple did not have that normal sweet tart deliciousness to it, somehow tonight they sucked out all the sweet and delivered a sour angry version to top off the yellow but otherwise completely lacking in any personality or taste version of what can be an extraordinary dish. We also ordered curry puffs. This was the only saving grace to this astounding disappointing meal. This three puff appetizer was a surprising crispy pillow of delicious flavor that I was increadibly sad to finish, and honestly, had this been a meal we had eaten in resturant, I would have ordered another. The depth of flavor that was discovered in this lovely enticing appetizer was very much appreciated and I will pick these little gems up again on my home, but they will be the sole menu item retrieved, as they are stand out. Please do try the curry puffs! And chef, please go back to the mind you were using when you designed that delicious morsel and bring us something else along that line.

Diner Review №45

Tried the pineapple fried rice, pot stickers , chicken satay and sticky rice

The vegetarian potstickers felt like there is meat in them and doesn’t have any flavor or taste. Even the pineapple fried rice is spicy but doesn’t have any flavor same goes with chicken satay
Sticky rice is better compared to other dishes

Diner Review №46

We come to chabaar knowing it will be incredible. My wife and I LOVE their curry. Our server was great. Even though some in our party were a bit embarrassing to be seated with when they requested lots of additions to their meal, having expected it to be the same as somewhere else they had eaten previously and treated our waiter to less respect than we would personally. We have always gotten what we expected and their Thai curry is the best we have tried! Thank you chabaar. We appreciate all that you do and the vegan options you provide.

Diner Review №47

Very long wait for a pick up order, and they gave me meat potstickers instead of the veggie ones I ordered, and I got a little sick because I’m vegetarian! The other food was good. I would only get dine-in food if I went again. Lettuce wrap leaves need to be much bigger, I had to eat a salad with my hands 😒

Diner Review №48

Diner Review №49

For Thai food in Utah...Thai food in Utah...seriously it's really good, very close to moms cooking (she's from Thailand)

Diner Review №50

Love the food was great. And the service was really good with a big group.

Diner Review №51

Everything is homemade and very good.

Diner Review №52

The food here was really good

Diner Review №53

Good food good service, can be very spicy.

Diner Review №54

The best. The best tofu, the best spicy everything, the best service, all of it. Don't take the spicy levels lightly - normally I like a 7 to 8 out of 10, I've lived in Thailand and so tend to go for spicy, here I usually order a 1 out of 3 (or 4?). Really recommend the ginger stir fry with some sticky rice to dip in it, their house kombucha, deconstructed lettuce wraps, and pad see ew.

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

Loved this restaurant. Great tasting options and quaint. The food is really amazing quality and packed with veggies and flavor. Definitely want to come back!

Diner Review №57

Some of the best Thai in Utah. I’ve tried nearly everything on their menu and it’s all been spectacular. They have real spice levels here if you like it hot but you can order no spice on most dishes.

Great appetizers, with the wings and curry puffs being standouts. Amazing, flavorful curries of every variety. Noodle dishes are uniformly great. Their specialty dishes are top notch but I’d recommend their fish, eggplant and curry pot pie.

They use good quality meat that is cooked correctly and they don’t skimp. They fry their tofu but you can ask them to cook it how you’d like.

Good service if sometimes slightly understaffed during peak hours. The new location is clean and nice. Can’t go wrong here.

Diner Review №58

The best Thai food in the valley in my opinion. It is a sister restaurant to Tea Rose which is also very delicious. I’ve tried many dishes here and all range from good to amazing.

Recommendations include chicken wings for appetizer, red and yellow curries and nam tok are some of my favorite entrees.

This place rocks.

Warning: they are not joking around with the spice. I like spicy food and 2-3 is as much as I can stand.

Diner Review №59

Red Curry with Chicken was splendid! Solid flavors, quality food. Really yummy. This is top notch Thai food “hidden” in a typical retail shopping center—near Savers at 7200 South & State St. Loved the service & soft jazz music playlist.

Diner Review №60

Family restaurant...Love this place. Make their own kumbucha, which I love. All the food is good. The mango curry is probably my favorite, but..

Diner Review №61

Amazing food and service. Come here frequently and will continue to do so. The Thai Basil Stir Fry is my fav!

Diner Review №62

Lunch was okay.

Diner Review №63

It was fast. But not good. Too salty. I asked for a medium hot it was mild compared to a dozen other places. I wasn’t happy. Yings Thai is way better

Diner Review №64

We had a fresh spring rolls that were delicious and the pineapple curry. That was the perfect amount of spicy. very fresh and good.

Diner Review №65

El arroz es muy bueno vale la pena darse un salto, la salsa picante está muy sabrosa muy recomendable

Diner Review №66

The food is good and the people are quick to respond.

Diner Review №67

I got the Pad Thai, it was awesome!

Diner Review №68

One of the best Thai food restaurants in SLC! The eggplant stir fry with tofu I amazing!

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

It was my first time here and everything was fantastic. The staff are very kind and the food was excellent.

Diner Review №72

Way to overpriced for Rice carrots potatoes

Diner Review №73

Awesome! I preferred drunken noodles and my friend ordered pad Thai. They were both perfect!

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

Update..they moved..service is bad..food is no longer as good as other location..something changed

Diner Review №76

It was decent. Our waiter was not very attentive and he had plenty of time to check in on us, but never did for the entire meal. We had to bother another lady to get napkins and then more water.

Diner Review №77

Authentic, fresh, consistent, and delicious! This is our favorite Thai place and top 5 favorite restaurants in the city. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Brunch, lunch and dinner. We have never waited for too long and the service is good. They moved to a different space in the same complex. The new atmosphere is lovely.

Diner Review №78

Came in to try the new location, ordered Penang with beef and got 2x orders of pad Thai… the service sucks worse than the old location, we ended up leaving with a to-go order… no beer or Sake…. Not sure what their plan is, but it’s not working out… but at least the food is good 😌

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

“It was so bad I wanted to give it a zero, but that’s not possible so I give you a one” I want some spicy pad Thai and they made it seem like the spice level 1 is spicy but it was not at all. I leveled up my spice to 4 and they charged me an extra $5. I would not recommend this place if you have taste buds. The server barely came by and took forever to take our order. The pineapple fried rice tasted like straight tumeric. I made fried rice once and accidentally poured too much tumeric and it tasted the same as the one I got from here except I didn't pay $16 for it.

Diner Review №81

Our favorite Thai food. The food is consistently great. I have yet to try a better Massaman Curry.

Diner Review №82

I've been dining here for decades. Used to love it. Food has declined immensely. As well as service. One good gentleman server, unfortunately absent tonight. Bathrooms GROSS!! Never trust a restaurant with horrible bathrooms! Far too expensive for what you get. 1 decent thing: plentiful lighted parking.

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

The drunken noodles was pretty good.

Diner Review №85

Overall, great Thai food and the curry seriously has some real spice. Even the green curry (with chicken) 1.5 is spicier than some other restaurants. Make sure you pay attention to the scale for heat. The service was pretty good and nice place to eat for a group.

Diner Review №86

This place used to be really good but after it changed ownership its gone down hill I ordered loose leaf jasmine tea and when it came I opened the top and its a tea bag, the pho went up on price since last year and the meat portions are much much smaller I had 3 mangled pieces of beef in it and the broth had barely any beef flavor. The service wasn't good either the waitress sat us and didn't come back for our drink orders for another 20 minutes while we sat knowing exactly what we want for at least 15 minutes and taking both drink and food orders at the same time . Edit: my brother was also outright refused an item on the menu because they were busy when I could see literally only 2 booths taken both by small party's. Don't go here unless you have a time machine and go back 3 years

Diner Review №87

I had the pumpkin Curry so delicious!

Diner Review №88

Pumpkin curry, and everything else, is so good.

Diner Review №89

The food was great and the service was very friendly.

Diner Review №90

I had the breakfast pancakes and they are absolutely delicious! Surprisingly the best pancakes I've had in a very long time.

Diner Review №91

Best food in the world.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Really good food! My husband absolutely loves their orange chicken my favorite is the Panang Curry.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Fine, but nothing fancy or worth writing home about.

Diner Review №96

I wasn't a fan of the service or atmosphere. The food wasn't terrible but nothing to rage about. The Thai iced tea however, was on point.

Diner Review №97

Delicious food with an old school atmosphere feel. Had the Chicken Pad Thai and Pork Pad See Ew.

Both dishes are full of flavor and nicely balanced. The chicken and pork were tender and not over cooked.

Thai Iced Tea is also very good.

Will come through again

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

I come the Utah once a year to ski, and eat at Chabaar!!! Had almost all the soups & they’re all amazing. Curry is to die for but be warned…. ask for zero if you don’t like it spicy. Never had a bad meal, and the same server is always there, Dennis and he’s the best. Don’t miss out on some of the best Thai dishes you’ll every eat.

Diner Review №100

Yummy food

Diner Review №101

Under staffed. Had to leave . The hostess was also the waiter! And was the only waiter there on a Saturday nite. Waited for seating but half or booths were empty. Will not try again even if food is supposed to be good 😩

Diner Review №102

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

Always amazing! Been coming here for over a decade now. Definitely recommend the panang curry!

Diner Review №105

Over priced for mediocre thai.

Diner Review №106

Agree with another reviewer.. ordered the yellow curry and it was inedible! I was super bummed cause I love yellow curry and it put me off for wanting to order this again or try anything else 😝 I had only been here once before and I don't remember what I ordered, but I don't remember it being bad.. Nice ppl but need to work on the food!

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

The worst service and the person who did serve was so rude and ridiculous, food was good but bit costly

Diner Review №109

Terrible service. They were rude enough to ask why we gave them a low tip. Will never come back to this place despite the good food

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

I used to love this place. Their duck is not good at all, it was chewy.. like they didn't boil it enough and cooked it through. Won't be coming back. A shame. I used to really enjoy this place.

Diner Review №112

Diner Review №113

They make you feel like part of the family. Amazing food at great prices and excellent customer service. I am obsessed with their extensive vegan options.

Diner Review №114

The food here is always on point. I could eat their curry puffs everyday! Massaman curry *add broccoli* is my go-to dish.

Edit. Again... The food was amazing tonight and the service was just as good. I got the pad thai (vegan with tofu, no egg. Add broccoli and zucchini, extra tofu!) Just saying that the food and service is always consistent, and the consistency is always spectacular!

Diner Review №117

Drove by this restaurant randomly one day and decided to try it for lunch 2 days later. Zero regrets. Ample parking and the dining area was large. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere which I love.

The fresh spring rolls were thin, but there were 6 pieces (3 cut into halves). I love how proportional each bite was. Not too much or too little of any ingredient. Loved how there's a mint leaf in every single half piece. Peanut sauce was a bit on the sweet side, as I'd some sweet chili was added into the sauce. It gave a nice Thai kick to it.

Beef pho was generous. There were over 12 large pieces of beef, and tons of bean sprouts were provided. Lots of broth leftover and the noodles didn't soak it all up, making the end of the meal very enjoyable. The broth was also very flavorful on its own, no hoisin or sirarcha needed. The pho was very good, even better than pho restaurants that specialize in pho. There was so much food, I literally ate for two!

The waiter and waitress were very polite and kind. They packed up my leftover spring rolls nicely. I would 100% return and want to try everything on their menu!

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

Somewhat poor/absent service, & yellow curry was inedible due to how salty it was. Appetizer tester and Kow Soi were good enough though.

Diner Review №123

Noodles were so mushy. I asked for extra veggies and I didn’t get them, very Little meat in the plate and the pad Thai was sooo soupy.

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Best curry I’ve ever had. They also offer legit Thai spice if you want it. We will definitely be coming here often.

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

Really delicious food and great service! Only complaint was that it was so loud and echo-y in the dining area, we couldn’t hear anything!

Diner Review №128

Great food, good service and fair prices.

Diner Review №129

Diner Review №130

Surprisingly good food
- tough venue.

Diner Review №131

Great Thai Cuisine, we tried the TOM YUM soup which was nice and spicy, Chicken Satay which was good too and the Chicken Fried rice with Spice level 2 which was good and spicy too!!!

Diner Review №132

Worst Pad Thai, I have ever been served! It's really not a friendly atmosphere

Diner Review №133

waited for 10 mins. No one come and greet us . We can hear them talking and have fun inside the kitchen.....

Diner Review №134

Best curry and sweet and spicy soup !!!!!

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

Super good authentic food. I’ve been going there for the last 5 years and I can’t say I have ever had a bad plate. I can’t say enough good things about this place but it’s definitely worth it.

Diner Review №139

Not a big fan of their ginger noodles. I should've gotten something like curry or pad tai - their service was good though, so that's why I'm leaving a 4 star. But don't get the ginger noodles - get a pho instead.

Diner Review №140

Diner Review №141

Love their curry!

Diner Review №142

Delicious!

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

Diner Review №145

I really like this place! The prices are very reasonable, and the menu is huge! They do anything from pho to Tom kaa gai, and they do it pretty well.
I generally get the beef waterfall at all Thai places I go to, and the one served here is good. I would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a good, diverse menu that caters to many, at an affordable price.
Also, staff is very friendly! The man who usually takes the orders is very kind.

Diner Review №146

Pho was just not good for me. Maybe other food is good here but I wouldn't take that chance.

Diner Review №147

Diner Review №148

Diner Review №149

Really yummy food!

Diner Review №150

Went here for lunch. They were slow to greet and get us seated. We did see other people seated so we waited. The food was abysmal. The service was worse. The server didn't bring our drinks until the food was served. She never checked back and didn't refill our drinks. She only returned to drop the bill. Be advised the Orange chicken is inedible. This place was a serious disappointment for an after Graduation lunch. We have eaten at Annie's o other local restaurants with no problems. At Chabaar they don't seem to care about the quality of the food or the dining experience. I give this place a hard pass.

Diner Review №151

I’ve been in Utah for a month and a half. I’m always seeking out new places to try. This place is top of my list! I got the pumpkin curry pot pie… words can’t describe how delicious this is. Sweet, savory, spicy, and fills the belly better than any Thai food I’ve had before!!
Well done! I can’t wait to come back for more!

Diner Review №152

Diner Review №153

The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. The server was right on top of filling up our waters.

Diner Review №154

Diner Review №155

Best Thai food around!

Diner Review №156

The sampler platter of starters smelled so good that I forgot to take a picture before we ate some. I was not a fan of the fried tofu, but that is a texture preference on my part. It was cooked correctly, and everyone else liked it. The sampler platter and 4 accompanying sauces were a perfect start to our meal.

I had the Massaman Curry with pork (level 0). It was a wonderful blend of vegetables, pork, and creamy sauce. Perfect with the sticky rice. This is my new favorite place for Massaman Curry!!

The server was very knowledgeable, and gave us great advice as we asked questions and ordered our food. Very friendly staff all around.

Diner Review №157

Diner Review №158

Diner Review №159

This is really good Thai food! The massaman curry was some of the best I've had. The only, and I mean the ONLY fault we found with the food was that my friend ended up finding a hair in his eggplant, but, things happen, they gave a discount on the plate, and it was tasty. We will definitely be back. Also some of the best Thai tea I've ever been served!

Diner Review №160

The mango curry here is 10/10

Diner Review №161

Some of the best Thai food in the area, friendly staff....great pace, but you don't feel rushed.

Diner Review №162

Delicious food, satisfying, good service, ample parking space I like Thai food

Diner Review №163

Diner Review №164

The food was too spicy and the chicken sautee was cold .

Diner Review №165

Good food

Diner Review №166

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

Best Thia food in the valley. They go light on the fish sauce. Fresh and yummy. Their Tom Yum is addicting

Diner Review №169

Diner Review №170

Tastiest Thai food I’ve eaten ever!! We will be back. The small staff was wonderful.

Diner Review №171

Super yummy and very vegan friendly.

Diner Review №172

Get the Thai fried rice!

Diner Review №173

This is one of the hidden gems of midtown. Authentic Thai made with love. Tucked slightly off the corner behind the Artic Cirlce. They make it SPICY too so be aware (a level 2 is pretty spicy for me). Try the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce, and the pad Thai is always a fan favorite. There's no wrong choices on this menu.

Diner Review №174

The broth is like French kissing Anna Nicole Smith. It's so good and the flavors are unreal. The broth is something from heaven. If money wasn't a currency, I would spend my soul and time on earth to eat here again. The broth is so complex and balanced I really love it.

Diner Review №175

Great little place!

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №177

I attend a weekly networking meeting here and I’m the food here is fantastic.
Everything I’ve had is fresh, authentic and so good. The service is good and the atmosphere is great. If you haven’t tried Chabaar just do it. You won’t regret it

Diner Review №178

Quite frankly they're obviously cool ... love 'em !

Diner Review №184

Did you know that they filter all of their water?

Diner Review №185

I wanted a vegan gluten free Tom Yum soup. I tried this place. It was very good. They also have a tea menu with various choices!

Diner Review №186

Diner Review №187

Been going here for years, always great food, my only complaint is a couple of times they've told me 20 minutes for a to go order but it was closer to 40-50 minutes.

We always get the pineapple curry with pork, chicken satay for the kids, and for me either the pho, ginger noodle soup, massaman curry or chicken rice soup.

Forgot to post this; we went in April 2023. We LOVE Thai and have had it in several cities. While this isn’t our absolute favorite, it’s definitely in our top 3. The eggplant stir fry is so good! Definitely try it if you’re into that sort of thing. Quick service when we went and that’s all that really matters for us. We will return again if we go back to SLC!

Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the Massaman Curry and Pad Thai. They have a large variety on their menu and looking forward to trying something new each time.

Is there a better place?? --I haven't found one.
This last time I was in, I had the wonderful (Massaman chicken) Curry Pot Pie.
Staff is always nice and pleasant, food is always great.

I get mine at (heat level) 2.5

This place deserves more customers... You should try it.

You'll never go wrong if it's one of Annie's and Jeff's restaurants. Hard earned, and they've been building this atmosphere for years. Good food, great service and quality food that's fresh!
