Asian restaurant serving asian cuisine focusing on Thai, drinks, and boba tea.
Thai food is always as specialty to us. Someone recommended this place for its fresh ingredients and complex flavors. The presentation of the plates was original and the seasoning was unique.
This food pairs hot spices and sweet and light citrus flavors masterfully. To me it’s important that the food is served warm and that it stays warm throughout our meal. I was not disappointed.
In reference to the restaurant, I found the decorations to be very attractive resembling Asian culture. The collection of Lucky elephants on the shelves call your attention.
I must mention that I was somehow impacted by the choice of furniture for the place. There is a formal cloth napkin setting on the table, however, the simple tubular chairs take away the refinement of the place.
The staff was friendly and prompt with the service. We appreciated the calm atmosphere and soft music in the background, appropriate for conversations.
Parking was very accessible and access to the location was also easy.
Most definitely, we will get back to try out some of the extensive number of dishes in the menu and learn more about this type of food.
I have so many favorite dishes from here! Right now, in the picture, is Pad Thai—I always ask to remove the tofu and get extra chicken. It’s so tasty and my favorite to take home.
I’ve tried their curry and sushi, and they never disappoint!
For appetizers, the Chicken Satay is my favorite. The only thing that disappointed me was the Fresh Spring Rolls—they don’t come with shrimp, and they won’t add it even if you ask.
The Steamed Dumplings are $8 for just 4, which feels a bit overpriced to me.
But the place is VERY CLEAN, and the atmosphere is so CUTE! The AC inside might be a little cold, so I’d recommend bringing a coat. They also have a great selection of beers, similar to what you’d find in Asia, which reminds me of my travels there.
The staff are SO NICE—polite and respectful! I’ll definitely keep coming back.
Get to this place as fast as you can! Absolutely phenomenal! Great portions, great customer service, great flavor. I personally like super spicy food so I get a 4-5 here. The spice level here is a little low compared to other Thai food places but given their location and their customer base, probably a good idea. I don’t think the prices are outrageous either. Given the quality, they’re on the cheap side. GET THE SUSHI! My photo is the spider roll.

This is a small Thai place, I would not recommend bringing a family of 5+ because the seating is limited and the tables are small.
If you're coming to make a pickup order and want to wait, there are about 5 seats for waiting.
We ordered spring rolls, vegetable yellow curry, chicken pad thai, and teriyaki chicken (I believe). The spring rolls were big, but they didn't make them with meat, and they only gave me one peanut sauce, which was only enough for one springroll. The yellow curry was good, I'd say medium spice. Chicken pad Thai was good, and my husband liked his teriyaki chicken but expected it to be fried and a bigger portion. He said he wouldn't order it again but is looking forward to trying their other stuff. They put both of our rice in one container, which I would rather it be in its own container, but oh well.
We plan on coming back and trying their other foods.
(10/12/23)- Update
Unfortunately, I am going to have to drop two stars..
I ordered a tofu dish and got chicken, even though my receipt that was taped on the bag also said tofu, I still got chicken, and I "hate" chicken. This was clearly the kitchen's fault, not the lady that took the order, but either way, it's disappointing for the front staff who also didnt double check my order prior to packing. At this point, we were already at home, and it was late. Well, THEN, on the same dish, I also found a hair "deep" in the dish... 🤢. I can't..🤮🤮.
On a side note, I also ordered a crab cream egg roll appetizer that came with four pieces, and the amount of sauce they included was very little, I would recommend more. Either way, I don't think I'll be ordering takeout any time soon. In general 😖..
Update (01/05/24)
Decided to give it a try again (since there are not a lot of options in Kyle for soup).
We ordered takeout, and were told that it would be ready if 15/20minutes, I was surprised when they gave us a call to inform us that our food was actually ready in 15minutes, so that was nice. When we arrived, the place was packed, barely any walkway without stumbling into people/waiters, reminding me that the place was indeed small. I was able to see the separate sushi menu, which I could not find online, and took pictures of it to post. The front cashier was SO quiet, I could barely hear what she was saying when we paid for our food. Once we got home, I realized that we did not get our thai tea, so I had to call to get refunded. Food wise, we ordered Tom Kha Noodle (tofu), Pad Woon Sen, and some dumplings as apps, it was good.

I came here as they were opening and had a good service and good food, thank you.
We really enjoyed it here for dinner. It was very busy on Friday evening but the staff handled the flow of everything very well. We got a table within a couple of minutes, and the service was great. The food was excellent, offering a Thai and Japanese fusion. Sushi was prepared very well, and the presentation was very appealing. I would highly recommend it here. Just know that the space is not huge, so it will fill up quickly during busy times of the night.
Pad Thai was ordered mild but was extremely spicy. Curry was tasty but had chicken which was not ordered.
Big fan of this place! I’ve tried multiple dishes and they’ve all been perfect, my favorite being the Pad See Ew. They’re very friendly inside and service is quick! This place made me love Thai food!
I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I thought I should share. My families meal tasted horrible and old. The rice was old (but my kids rice was fresh looking). The chicken on our plates looked different and taste horrible. The vegetables were plain and looked like they were reheated/leftovers. The sauce was gross (supposed to be teriyaki sauce) but tasted burnt and old. Thankfully we didn’t have to pay for the meal.
We ordered mango sticky rice, and the mangos were overripe (so mushy) and then halfway eating the sticky rice there was a hair in it. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
The service was good and food was hot, but not very tasty or authentically Thai.
Ordered orange chicken and Thai fried rice, and it was so nasty, it was like ordering chicken nuggets from McDonald and sweet and sour sauce just more expensive. Never returning here.
Server was great, and the food was amazing! We got the fried rolls, chicken wings, tom kha soup with tofu, pad see-ew with chicken, and pad kee-ma with beef. Everything was incredible - flavor, texture, freshness. The chicken wings especially blew us out of the water! We didn’t get a chance to try their sushi but we will be back soon to do so. Super glad to have a neighborhood Thai spot!
Delicious authentic food and the staff are always so kind. If you love Thai food, definitely give this place a try!! I’ve tried their yellow curry and pad thai, both were 10/10.
Perfect in every way. I will be back.
Have had it all and haven’t a bad thing yet.
Great food and amazing service. Love this place, have eaten here several times and will continue to come back time and time again!!
It's your average style food place, my biggest gripe was that the food did not taste fresh, neither the chicken nor the beef.
New; need room to grow in personality and customer service.
Flavors, both delicate and robust. This may well be the best restaurant south of Austin. Terrific food!
I just order some take out for the first time from this restraunt and I am very impressed. I ordered a couple of philadelphia hand rolls and the chicken pad tai. First of the philadelphia roll..... so i have ordered this at many places very often and im very familiar with this roll. More often then not resteraunts are very stingy with the samon. Not this place, they put in a very generous amount of samon..... it was soooo good. The pad tai was very good as well and had a unique flavor to it that i really enjoyed. I give this place 2 big thumbs up.
Really liked the food here. The staff was nice. The restaurant is clean. Give em a try.
My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home from Target (continently located by it). I got the Green Curry with beef and he got the Mongolian beef with a side of pineapple fried rice. Hands down the best Mongolian beef we’ve ever had. The curry was also amazing! It was spicy, just how I like it. This hidden gem is absolutely worth stopping for! I also got their Thai tea and it was delicious! 10/10 coming back for sure! Perfect for this cold rainy night.
The whole family's new favorite thai spot! The curries, noodles, appetizers AND the SUSHI are delicious. Especially impressed by the freshness of the sushi and options considering the small space they have dedicated to it.
Added bonus, they make the kids feel special with fun plates and the family friendliness is so appreciated.
We will be back over and over. 😊
Sweet crew but Disappointing food
Chicken Pad Woon Sen for the missus, Kyle roll for me, and teriyaki chicken for the kiddos. All 10/10! Our waitress also gave the kids a fun time and played with them.
Definitely a great for impression and we will be back!

Very hoppin place. Food was good. Seating was a little too close for my preference but the food makes it worth it. Busy on a Saturday night
The yellow curry Wow!
Best Thai in Kyle!
I ordered chicken fried rice and it was not good and it’s the first time I’ve ever had a tomato in my fried rice lol
Have had 4 different dishes and they were all great. Last time it was the orange chicken, it was a delicious combination of soft juicy chicken breast with crunchy outside. I’m not even getting boneless wings anymore I’ll just go there for the orange chicken.
This place has great food! Hope to eat here again very soon 😊
Service was great, food was delicious and out very quickly, and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. I had delicious yellow curry with tofu that hit the spot! Excited to come back

The food was really good
So dang delicious!! The tom Kha soup here is one of my favorites. Their peanut sauce with the spring rolls is legit and their sushi is fresh and tasty too. We’ve been here and ordered to go many times and we’re never disappointed.
I'll start by saying the service at the restaurant is so sweet and quick to take care of you. It's clean and decent inside. Which is the only reason this isn't 1 star. But this is not authentic thai...at all. I ordered Pad Kee Mao and asked for it to be extra spicy. It came out very bland...not at all made with the items you normally see with thai food. Asked for some extra hot sauce so I could taste something and got Sriracha - a great thai place would bring out chili oil or chilis in fish sauce. They had none of that. I just moved to Kyle and was bummed given this place is rated highly. I probably should have known when I noticed they also serve sushi...lol. If you want basic, asian-esque food, this probably will meet expectations. I would not say this is Thai at all.
Not authentic cuisine. The magnolian beef was watery? Orange chicken was chicken nuggets with orange chicken sauce on the side.
This place is white washed Chinese food.
Respectfully lost $50 here. Will not be back.
i was really wanting a good pad thai dish. This was NOT it. this pad tai was not sweet at all, almost sour. it was served hot, plenty of food served but it was not very palatable. will NOT order this again..
Recommend. We’ve dined in multiple times and take out multiple times. Service is always fast. Never had a wrong order. The food is delicious. Some of the best Tom Kha I’ve had. Very rich broth and only $5 a bowl!!! Dishes we’ve had that we love are the yellow curry, Penang curry, cream cheese rolls, pad thai(little dry). Random sushi that I don’t recall the names but were all good/fresh. Can’t say a negative thing. They even go the extra to spice it up for me when I ask. I like fire in the hole spice and they have made that happen. Only once did I have to add an extra spicy bomb to it.
It’s hard to screw up pad see ew. It was so incredibly dry. This place sucks, I thought maybe Kyle got good Thai food but seems I was very very wrong
I LOVE THIS PLACE. The pad see ew is my favorite!!!! We order here like 2x a week or more.
AND the sushi is FRESH FRESH FRESH!!
General Thai food.
Get to this place as fast as you can! Absolutely phenomenal! Great portions, great customer service, great flavor. I personally like super spicy food so I get a 4-5 here. Just came back from ordering to go. Saw this place on Google, so I thought to come and try. I got my go-to Thai dish, papaya salad. When I got home and try there is no taste. Very bland. I got this salad every time I go to Thai restaurant and this one very disappointing. No sour or spicy or salty or anything. Feels like they half heartedly putting the dish together. Thai tea tastes bitter, needs more milk. Mango sticky rice was subpar. Shouldn’t use that type of mango. I am glad I didn’t waste money ordering entree as I wasn’t that hungry but it was a great decision. Ashamed because I live close and might be a return customer. Now, I won’t be back and they don’t taste authentic. See for yourself :/
I always order delivery and my orders are always over 60.00.
I did not get my 2 orders of steamed dumplings on one of my orders and called about it. I was told I would get a refund back to my card. They did that the same day. Take note that if they credit you before the card machine is settled for that day you will not see a separate credit but you original price will be lower
Amazing food! I had the Pad Kee Mow with Chicken and it was delicious. You can choose your spice lever. My partner got the Godzilla sushi roll which is one of the better sushi rolls I've ever had. The presentation on both was fantastic.
Small thing for most, but if you enjoy Coke, they probably had the most refreshing delicious coke I've ever drank at a restaurant.
I will be a regular here!
Delicious food served by delightful people. The wait staff is always wonderful. The prices seem reasonable compared to other places in Kyle.
Worth the visit.
Can't say enough how much we love this spot for Thai food. The staff is so courteous and welcoming & they turn out the food super fast! Recommend the Satay and crispy rolls. And of course their Pad Thai is fantastic!
Always good service and the food is very good!
100 stars
We were so happy a location opened up in Kyle - we used to go to the one near Oak Hill before we moved to the area! Portions are great, prices even better, and the food is wonderful! We love the curries, but anything on the menu we’ve had so far has been lovely.
Great little restaurant in Kyle. We love going there and try their Sushi’s and various Thai options in the menu. So far it’s been one of our favorite restaurants in Kyle area.
Went here on a whim and the food was amazing!!!
Friendly place with excellent food.
Food is amazing, service is always friendly. I’m not very fond of the seating inside, too close together but it is what it is. Pad see ew is great!
Such great food! We tried 3 different appetizers, an entree, a sushi roll and the dessert of mango sticky rice…that dessert OMG SO TASTY!!! The staff is so kind, the place is cute and my son loved the elephants on the shelves. 100% will be back!
Absolutely love this place! Have been several times and tried many different dishes and have yet to find a weak point, in my opinion. Highly recommend.
The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and did I mention tasty? The menu is extensive, the servers so friendly and attentive. Looking for a great place for a quick lunch or leisure dinner, try the Spoon and Fork. 👍
I tried this restaurant for the first time about two weeks ago, with a friend. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, seated quickly, and brought menus. We were able to ask questions about the menu, with the waitress giving great suggestions about things that are popular. We ordered some appetizers, along with Tom Yum soup to start, all of which came out quickly! it was all DELICIOUS! Next, we ordered curry. I ordered the green, which is spicy, but not too spicy. My friend ordered the red, which is more sweet. Both were delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I took my mom back this week. She loved it as well!
Absolutely the best Asian food in Central Texas. Servers are very friendly and fast. Fresh Sushi and all types of Thai food. I wish the restaurant was larger because it's going to be super packed soon.
Great food and excellent service. I appreciate the heat on their spicy dishes like green curry.
The availability of gluten free Asian options is such a welcome addition to restaurant options.
Really nice place overall. Good curry, and I was surprised with how good the sushi was as well.
The food here and the service was exceptionally good! This was our first visit and it did not disappoint at all. The food was so tasty and hot! My mom has strict dietary restrictions and they were so sweet and understanding, ready to accommodate that with lots of options so the taste of her food was not compromised. We will be back again and again as it’s one of the few places my mom can eat and it is so warm and inviting in there! Highly recommend!
Tasty food, good quality, clean, good service, nice staff and not expensive
The food was delicious. Good service! I would love to recommend here to everyone :)
Great service and wonderful food! Large portions and good value
Best Thai food I've had since I lived in Hawaii. I've been 3 times and haven't had a bad dish yet. My new favorite restaurant in town!
I placed an order through their website at 7:40pm, and then received a text message at 8:10pm that the restaurant cancelled my order and I had to call them. After calling them I was subsequently told that a DoorDash driver picked up my order and when another DoorDash Driver came to pick up my order again, they canceled my order since it was already taken. I asked them how they would resolve it since I clearly had not received my order and was told that they would call me right back. I called again at 8:28pm requesting an update since I hadn’t heard anything and was told that they are making my order again and that DoorDash will deliver. I called again at 9:01pm and was told that the lady had just left. It is now 9:28pm and still no food. Poor form Spoon and Fork. You could have owned up to your mistake and refunded me, but instead kept putting me off with false promises. So now I’m sans dinner and money.
Food was delicious and service was fantastic! Highly suggest!
Way good, and good on price. Will definitely come here again, small but quaint, nice people and amazingly good thai.
Awesomeness! Service, food, cleanliness all top notch - GREAT job!
I am SO, SO, so happy to finally find a good Asian food restaurant in the area. I've long looked around Austin only to be disappointed. Heck, this is my favorite Asian food in Texas. That's a broad category and a broad area, but yeah - I think it's that good. I love good Thai food and this nails it. Heck, it serves as a shining star for a much broader food category as far as I'm concerned.
The place is in a new part of Kyle and the explosive growth going on. So, it's uber clean and new. The staff were all excellent and nice to interact with.
The name of the game is the food and this is where it was just so good. I started off with the fresh spring rolls. Perfect fresh herbs and vegetables with a superb chunky peanut sauce. I can't wait to try some of the rolls. Next up, I passed on the ever present Pad Thai and went with Yellow Curry with Shrimp. That was a genius move! Though it was just random luck. The curry was a sublime coconut flavor with a hint of heat. Great veggies and a ton of crispy shrimp. Perfectly done with a great dollop of rice to go with it.
I was full, happy, and eager to come back.
They made my family and I feel very welcome along with delicious food
It's thai food, but for yt people with all the flavors taken out. The Pad Thai was like spaghetti with peanuts. The soup was more of a clear soup. I wouldn't recommend this place.
I’m glad to have a Thai place in Kyle finally and even better that it’s within walking distance. For sure I ll be back again.
Great service with good food and friendly staff 10 out of 10
Wonderful food and service. So glad to have a great Thai restaurant in Kyle!
I eat here every day and it’s incredible every time!
This place is great, it is new, but has never disappointed. I usually grab it to go so, not sure about the Atmosphere.
Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. i definitely see myself coming back. 10/10 would totally recommend
Finally got around to trying Spoon+Fork!! I was the GM of Mama Fu’s before it closed, and I have to say that S+F obviously surpasses what MF was by a hundred miles.
I ordered the shrimp Pad See-iew, crab cream cheese rolls, and calamari. My main dish seemed slightlyyyy over cooked and could have used more sauce but over all was very tasty. The rolls are mostly cream cheese, but are very flavorful and great with the sweet and sour sauce. The calamari was way over fried and very rubbery, but I’d still get it again quite honestly. The fry job on the appetizers was top tier!
The restaurant is very tiny so I’d probably only order Togo for now on. There was a screaming baby and loud complainy man my entire stay there, which is not the restaurants fault, but definitely affected my future dine-in option. MF was small, but S+F is even smaller.
I’m glad MF was replaced by something that’s actually delicious. Not a fan of the other options in Kyle.
Excellent food! Excellent service!
Always fresh and fast
Best Thai Panang Chicken I’ve ever had!
I was craving spicy food, and their curry dishes did not disappoint!
Odered both the yellow curry (10/10) & green curry (6/10) (extra spicy), the crab cream cheese rolls (10/10), and fried shrimp rolls (8/10).
Our waiter was very pleasant and even remembered our order when we went back the following week.
Best pad Thai ever.
This restaurant makes really delicious food
I ate here for my anniversary and loved it. Food was amazing and the service was excellent!
We've ordered from this place several times- the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow as always been excellent. A few nights ago, I went to pickup the same order. My wife's was happy with her Pad Thai. However my Pad Kee Mow was dry, undercooked and barely had any protein. A total disappointment. Service is always friendly and restaurant very clean. I will give them another try and update my review appropriately.
There is a variety of delicious food and excellent service from the staff.
It's okay... nothing special.
I was pleasantly surprised to realize Kyle had a new Thai place. I looked at pictures of the menu and decided what I wanted when I came in. But I’ll be da****ed if they didn’t also give me a sushi menu. But I stayed true to my decision and will try sushi next time. I ordered a small Tom Yum soup with shrimp and a Green coconut curry with beef. Both were amazing! Quite flavorful and exactly as expected. The curry was quite spicy which I haven’t had in a while but it didn’t take away from the taste. The establishment has great atmosphere. The service is also amazing. Definitely will be on my frequent list.
The service here is prompt and friendly. It is a cozy dine-in. We have ordered the Panang curry and veg green curry and LOVE both dishes. The fried tofu is the best I've had, and I usually avoid it except when I come to Spoon + Fork. The fresh veg spring rolls are delicious, and I save some of the fresh veg to pair with my main dish.
Real good, overall. My husband ordered an entree, and I got sushi, and they brought his out immediately, and I waited almost 20 minutes for mine. We were not given the option to have his come out with mine. Other than that, everything was good and clean, service very friendly, and for such a small place, even packed there was little noise and a nice atmosphere. 👍
A pleasant surprise here in Kyle! I was impressed by the taste and quality of the noodles and curry. They also have many appetizer options and a full sushi menu. Highly recommended.
This place has been open about three or four months and tonight was our first chance to give it a try. We asked the waitress to suggest her favorites and they were excellent. We had Tom Yum soup, spicy chicken wings, and a beef salad. Everything was quite delicious and we are really looking forward to our next visit.
Americanized thai food, not bad, but not the best
Naprawde polecam to miejsce by tam zjeść. Tym bardziej jeśli ktoś naprawdę chce zjeść dania o smakach takie jak są w Europie, to znajdzie je tutaj 😉
I have eaten at this restaurant several time now and love it more each time I come in! The service is amazing as they remember my name every time I come in. The food is amazing with good portion size, fresh ingredients and the sushi chef is absolutely fantastic. I haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like and plan to keep coming back for more!
Cute joint with delicious food in Kyle!
Had pad Thai delivered and it was GREAT! Will be back!
Food is great but Thai tea super sweet I like it without a lot of sugar but sure my kids will love it sugary.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Kyle. Service is great and the food taste amazing.
What a difference a block makes. Went ONCE to a place across the street that was dirty and had bland food (you'll find it if you look at my other reviews). The Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen was fabulous. Every dish we had was full of flavor. The fried egg rolls were freshly fried in clean oil. The soups were outstanding - I had curry and wife had Yum. The atmosphere was not quite the finest, but we weren't paying for it either. What we did pay for was excellent food and friendly service. Finally, a place to go back to in Kyle.
Food was great, staff was friendly, will be returning for more!!
The Thai is a little generic. It's the first Thai place I've ever eaten where the food had no spice. I even ordered xtra-spicy. It's just below average Thai food. Service was great and the building is very nice.
Ordered for take out. The portion sizes are very small for what we paid. The salmon was wayyy over cooked and didn’t have any flavor. Three starts because the chicken teriyaki tasted decent.
Really good food, their appetizers are bomb. The sushi tasted fresh and their curry was tasty. Only complaint is that the curry wasn't spicy enough, but they will bring out chili oil if needed.
Absolute best Thai food in Kyle, my favorite is the yellow curry with chicken.... Soooo good. The wait times are long usually but so worth it. I don't really care for the seating arrangement when dining in- it feels really cramped. But all in all 10/10
We really enjoyed it here for dinner.
Great food, clean, wonderful service all around! Nice to see high standards and great food in Kyle🤠
Sushi was fantastic, so well prepared and had a variety of choices. The atmosphere is so cute and the service was professional yet personal. Had an amazing time and highly recommend!
Great place, especially given the current food selections in Kyle. Had the Shrimp Tom Yum soup which was pretty good in my opinion. I added chili oil to mine. Shrimp skewer was great. No complaints on food. Service was quick and they were very tentative the entire time. We will be coming back again.
Comida buena calidad
The food is so amazing! I would love to recommend this restaurant :)
this place is perfect
I was anxious to try this new place in Kyle. i love rice paper spring rolls with peanut sauce and so I ordered 2 orders of them. I got in the truck started to head home and while sitting at light opened one up along with the sauce and I have to say these by far were the worst I have ever had. At first tasting the roll it was fresh and could taste the mint but it was all cabbage and leaf lettuce, dry!!! sauce was not peanut sauce and tasted like spicy Mayo. I was so disappointed and to make it worse there was a long grey hair in the second one. I also have to say they have a young child behind the counter by the sushi case and a man playing with his hair. Not a place for young children to be during business hrs. sorry to say I won’t be back.
Friendly staff and great service too
Food was super fresh, tasty and the staff was very friendly!!
Very pleased with my first visit to this new offering in Kyle. It's clear immediately that this is a family run business. I made my way via e-bike from Plum Creek. People greeted me with a smile and gratitude. I was pleased they had IPA beer. Three varieties in fact! Food was delishish. I started with a Goose Island IPA, and Crispy Tofo. Moved onto Tiger Cry. The sticky rice was served in foil, allowing for the rice to stay hot and sticky throughout the entire meal. Yes! The meat was very flavorful. I would have enjoyed more spice heat. I am a hot head though. Finished with another beer. Great lunch. Wishing these folks greatness in their business. 🙏
Food was on same level as panda express, just cost more money...
Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. Excellent food.
Lady in grey today (owner?) made it seem like I was bothering her by placing a to-go order when it was basically dead in there. Food was beyond bland. Found a hair. Didn't get the chili paste I asked for. The cream cheese things really are like 99.99% cream cheese wrapped as an eggroll. First and last.
Love Spoon n Fork enough that I ate there two days in a row. Lol. Took a friend the second time to share what a great place to eat it is.
Finally a good Thai place in town! The teriyaki chicken and noodles had a lot of flavor and were cooked well. The service was the best part. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I never went without a full glass of water!
The atmosphere was very nice and cutely decorated inside with more modern finishes. It definitely is more casual than other sit down restaurants with a takeout counter in the back but the takeout line was not bothersome dining in. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking to fulfill any Thai craving in town.
For a clean eating place in Kyle, I give them an A+. For Thai food, a B. All of the essential components are there, but the flavors are lacking. It's like they make Thai food for people who are scared of spices.
Skip the calamari, a little tough and the onion ring style batter falls off easily. The Tom Yum broth is okay, more a clear broth that felt like it was missing something compared to traditional recipes. Ask for extra sauce on the pad Thai, the crushed peanuts were the most forward flavor. The tiger steak is good but it's just a plain grilled meat with pepper added after and the sauce on the side. They prepack the steamed rice in foil pouches (which is not unusual) but ours was dry and burnt on one end. They give you a good portion of shrimp, they use fresh vegetables with their dishes, and tofu was cooked well. Good Thai Tea too!
The restaurant was very clean, cute decorations. Easy to find parking. No wait for a table. Service was fast and very friendly. Overall a good experience. We'll give it another shot soon to try out their curry selection.
Really enjoyed the food, had a salad with grilled chicken and peanut sauce. The dining room was clean and nicely suited. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The price was good. Easy access. I recommend.
It's not like the real thail food. It's okay
Ordered pad Thai, pad see ew and crispy chicken wings. Pad Thai was okay, nothing crazy. Pad see ew was good! The crispy chicken wings were the best though. 10/10 wings, big and crispy. Definitely will order those next time! For what Kyle offers in the Thai category, this is a pretty good choice for a take out place.
Don’t get the salmon. It was rotten. Smelled rank. Threw it out. $20 for garbage. Spring rolls were good, chicken satay good. Salmon expensive and disgusting.
Quick and kind service
We tried for the first time and were glad we did. I had orange chicken and it was great! It want drowned in sauce and the chicken was still moist and flavorful. Wife had yellow curry. Also amazing with huge shrimp and vegetables and a ton of flavor. We will be back for sure. Finally good Thai food in Kyle.
The service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious. We had the pad Thai and Rama long song and eggrolls. I will eat here again.
Unfortunately, all of the poor reviews are very accurate. The owner should not have opened when they did. The staff is not properly trained lending to poor communication, inaccurate order fulfillment, and small portions of cold food. The pad Thai was okay. Just know that if you order a meat dish, you will be getting tofu no matter what. Yuck. Not good. I ordered chicken and they gave me tofu. Plus, don’t plan on eating inside the restaurant. Wayyy too small, bad layout and you will be there for a long time.
Ok so the best part for me was the service. Our waitress was a sweet lady who helped out and refilled our drinks and was so kind. The place is a quaint little spot to grab lunch or a quick dinner. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. We got the calamari which was very plain BUT it came with this AMAZING sauce. I would dip a shoe in the sauce and eat it. But alone I was not too excited but that sauce PHEW!! I also got the orange chicken and the chicken Thai fried rice. I absolutely loved the Thai fried rice. The orange chicken was good but it seemed like almost box chicken. Really good boxed chicken but boxed chicken. Which I feel is crazy since the Thai fried rice was so good. I would go back and order the rice and the calamari again. The place was cute. Food good service EXCELLENT
This was our second time since the Kyle location opened and we will continue to visit weekly. Excellent staff and remembered us being there before.
Wonderful service, amazing food. The waitress was very kind! We will definitely be coming back.
This was my first time dining at Spoon and Fork and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very kind and they kept my drinks refilled and were always prompt and friendly. The Rama Long Song was some of the best I've ever had and it had a wonderful hint of coconut that underlayed the whole dish. I can't wait to go back and try some of their curry dishes.
